Hanbei finally got Venonat to let go of Blade before he plopped to the ground, Hanbei stood back up and nodded, "Sounds fun! I can't wait." Hanbei said with a smile. However Venonat escaped his grasp again and charged at Blade, and jumped in his direction. "Not again!!!" Hanbei moaned, Shellder seemed fine with the arrangement even though he was still new to the group and Slowpoke, after a minute nodded his head and said, "Slooow"

[Grunt Issun]

"Then its settled! We will move out as soon as I get somthing to eat!" Jake declared, "...What? All I've eaten for a while was a pecha berry!" Jake told them, Ruta offered him some more berries, Jake sighed, "Thanks Ruta... I guess" Jake muttered and took some of the berries, and ate them. Jake stood up, "Well then, it looks like we should be ready to go, unless you guys are going to eat" Jake said, then suddenly remembered somthing, "Oh man thats right, I was going to stop here for a while to train Ruta and Blade, maybe you guys should train yours to"

"Well we ate fish last night." Hanbei went into his bag and pulled out some canned beans for himself and some pokemon food for his pokemon, "I'll just eat first..." Hanbei said with a plastic spoon in the beans as he began to chow down. His pokemon began to gobble the pokemon food as well, "As for the training we were planning on doing that anyway, in preparation for the first gym. Once Hanbei stopped eating he thought of something, "Hey, do you happen to have a king's rock?" He asked expecting a no but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

[Grunt Issun]

"No, I don't, sorry. You need it for your Slowpoke?" Jake guessed, "I hear Slowkings are pretty smart, according to one of the people I met in a pokemon center in my home town before I r- er, started this journey, I think he said that some Slowkings can actaully speak, that'd be pretty insane huh?" Jake said, then looked at the tree's off to the side, he got up and started moving twords them, "Well, I think I'm going to go look for some pokemon to battle, maybe I'll find one I can catch as well. Hope I can at least" Jake told them.

[Lexadin]

IC: "Blackout use Double Team." Wilhelm said. Umbreon then turned into 4 copies of itself just before the Return connected, surrounding Arcanine again. All copies, however, are visibly panting and are struggling to stand up straight. "I see, so you're after something. Some stones apearantly. But this does not justify ruining this tunnel. And therefor it will be you who will fail, stranger." Wilhelm said at the same calm tone. "Blackout, if you'll manage, use Confuse Ray." And all then Blackout, with all of its copies, ran upto Arcanine and fired a sinister beam. But before it connected it died out and all copies disapeared. And Blackout lied on the floor, fainted. "Blackout... You overestimated yourself. Return." Wilhelm said, not suprised at all as he returned his Umbreon to its Pokébal. "This is not good. All but 1 of my remaining Pokémon are weak to his Arcanine, and it doesn't look like it's near fainting. I didn't wanted to use him yet, but I gues it's better then sacrificing my other 2 Pokémon." Wilhelm thought to himself. "I gues it's time, go Shade." Wilhelm announced as he threw his next Pokébal and from it came a Honchkrow. It's feathers glimmered in the lights of the excavation site. And it did it's name honour as it suddenly disapeared in a black flash before reapearing behind Arcanine and slashes it.


OOC: Blackout's known for overastimating itself a lot. And Shade (Honchkrow) used Aerial Ace.

[Fader]

"Alright then Jake, that sounds...good...to...m-me." Josep said in shock. The Haxorus was a mere 5 feet from Joseph, who had Axew inn his arms. "HAXOR!" screamed the Haxorus. "Axew, Axew!" Sxew squealed. "us...Haxorus." Haxorus said."Ew-ew- Axew!" Axew moaned. Joseph set Axew down. Rather than walking to it's mother, Axew latched himself onto Joseph's leg. "Go on to your family Axew." Joseph said. Axew shook his head and tightened the grip on Joseph's leg. "Haxorus?" Haxorus asked Axew. "Ew. Axew." axew said. "You want me to take care of you, Axew?" Joseph asked. "Axew!" Axew said. "Ok then, if it's okay with your mother." Joseph said. "Haxorus." Haxorus said. "Don't worry I'll take good care of him for you." Joseph said. "Haxorus." Haxorus said. "Alright then." Joseph said. The Haxorus ran back into the forest. "Ok, Go Pokeball!" Joseph said. Dropping the pokeball beside Axew. The pokeball bobbed around and finally clicked. "Alright, I got me an Axew. axew, come on out!" Joseph shouted, and Axew came out.

[Grunt Issun]

"Oh great, that means I'm the only one who has less then three pokemon! Just great, JUST GREAT!" Jake grumbled, after knocking out a few caterpies that were wandering. He went back to the camp site, "Well, maybe as soon as I catch a third pokemon, and train my pokemon just a bit, we could have a friendly battle?" Jake suggested to Joseph, then heard a rustling off to the right, "Speak of the devil!" Jake grinned, and a Riolu walke out of the woods, Jakes face lit up even more, "Yes, a Riolu! Perfect!" Jake said with a smile. Then, the Riolu turned to the voice, and saw Blade, the Riolu smiled and ran forward, "Ri! Riolu!" it called, and hugged Blade, at first Blade was confussed, but then his face lit up, "Ra... Ralts?" He asked, "Rio-Rio!" The Riolu replied, after hearing that Blade hugged him back, "Ruta? You have any idea whats going on?" Jake asked, "Totodile, dile" Ruta explained, "Lost friends huh? And they've finnaly been reunited! I love happy endings!" Jake mused, then looked over, Riolu and Blade were catching up apperantly, Blade pointed over to Jake, and Riolu nodded, Riolu came over to Jake, got on one knee, and bowed his head to him, "Uhh... Heh?" Jake stuttered, "Toto, Dile, dile" Ruta whispered to him, "He wants me to... oh!" Jake realized, he pulled out a pokeball, extended it, and set it down on the ground, to which Riolu touched the button on the front, causing him to be absorbed into it, the ball shook three times and clicked, "Blade... this Riolu, this is your friend right?" He asked, Blade nodded, "Well thats great! Now what to call him? I know!" Jake exclaimed, then threw the pokeball into the air, "Come on out! ANUBIS!" Jake shouted, "Well Joseph, Hanbei, meet Anubis, the newest member of my team"

"Woah, didn't expect to see a Riolu so soon in my adventure, the Roxol Region really is different." Joseph said with a smile. As soon as Joseph finsihed his sentence a trainer came up to him. "Hey you, you there with the denim jacket and the dark hair!" She shouted. "How bout a battle." The Trainer asked. "Okay your on!" Joseph shouted. "My name is April, but I prefer to be called the Huntress." She said. She was older than most of the people they saw. Around 25 maybe. "Why do you call yourself that?" Joseph asked. "Because, I look for good views and good battles, so bring it!" She said.

PKMN Trainer Joseph sent out Axew!
"Axew start off with a Scratch attack!" Joseph shouted. "Mudkip, dodge and use Water Gun!" April yelled. Axew ran in to try to scratch. Mudkip jumped out of the way and blasted water at Axew. "Move to the left and use Assurance." Joseph said. Axew moved and landed a hit on Mudkip. "Follow it up with Scratch!" Joseph shouted. Axew scratched the Mudkip. "Tackle!" April shouted. Mudkip recovered and tackled Axew to the ground. "While your close, use Scratch again!" Joseph shoued. Axew hit the Scratch on Mudkip. Mudkip fell over and fainted. "Return Mudkip." April said. "Go Pikachu." April said. The yellow mouse came out of the pokeball. "Scratch." Joseph said. Axew ran up for an attack. "Thundershock!" April shouted. The Pikachu zapped Axew. Axew almost fell over. "Quick attack!" April said. Pikachu ran in for a fast tackle on Axew. "Use the last bit of energy for a Scratch!" Joseph said. Axew gained leverage and intercepted the quick attack with his claws. Pikachu fell back. "Thundershock Pikachu!" The Huntress yelled. Axew got shocked again and was on the ground. Axew fainted. "Okay then, go Absol!" Joseph said. Absol came out. "Absol, Quick Attack!" Joseph said. "Ditto." April said. Absol and Pikachu hit each other head on, but in the end, Absol's weight and strength advantage knocked Pikachu back. Pikachu fell over and fainted. "All out of Pokemon." April said.

"Nice, I got you in my Pokenav." Joseph said. Joseph walked back to the camp and panted. "Wow Axew, you really are something." He said to Axew's pokeball.

Adler didn't even see the slash coming and Arcanine was knocked forward and cut. "No! His beautiful fur coat!!! Are you okay Archy!? (That will be his new nickname XD fits Adler doesn't it?)" Adler then thought for a moment and noticed that all the work had caused slight oil puddles around, "use Flame Blitz over the oil puddles Archy!" Arcanine then lit afire and began runing over oil puddles which all caught afire which Arcanine drained fire from to make his attack bigger, "Now assault that bird with Flame Blitz!!!" Arcanine rushed forward and began zig-zagging.

Meanwhile

While Joseph and Jake began training outside the camp site, Hanbei was training inside it, using treestumps and other objects to improve moves and maybe learn some new ones.

(yeah I'm not gonna be on today... sorry ^^')

[Fader]

Joseph was wandering around looking for a place to continue training. "Absol, Quick Attack on the tree." Joseph said, planning on training Absol's Quick Attack. The tree shook and there was a thud. From the tree dropped three angry Nuzleaf. "Woah, they look angry." Joseph said. "Come on out everybody." Joseph said throwing out his other pokemon. The three Nuzleaf each used Razor Leaf. "Houndour turn the leaves into cinders with ember!" Joseph shouted. Houndour spit fire and each leaf turned black and crumpled up and turned to ash on the forest floor. "Now Axew, use double chop!" Joseph said. Axew ran into the middle. He hit the Nuzleaf on the right twice. "Absol, Aerial Ace on the middle Nuzleaf!" Joseph shouted. Absol jumped up and came down striking the Nuzleaf with his horn. "Houndour Ember on the Left Nuzleaf. Houndour hit the Nuzleaf with flames. Joseph fanned away some smoke and saw all three Nuzleaf KO'd. "Sorry guys, didn't know you were there, wasn't my intention for this." Joseph said and walked away from the tree.

[Grunt Issun]

"Ok guys, I say we train just between us!" Jake told his three pokemon, they pumped there fists in agreement, "Alright, Blade, over there. Ruta, you go over there, and Anubis, you go over there" Jake told them, pointing out positions for his pokemon to take, "Alright, now Ruta, use water gun!" Jake ordered, "Blade, counter it with confusion!" Jake commanded, causing Blade to stop the water gun in mid-air, giving it a pink glow, he then shot the front of the water gun down the rest, esentially reversing the direction, "Now Anubis, do whatever you can!" Jake told him, Anubis jumped out of a tree, did a back-flip, and faced Blade with his foot forward, then, his foot started on fire and he shot down twords Blade, Blade turned to try to counter, causing him to lose his concentration, releasing the water gun in mid-air, causing it to collide with itself, making a watery explosion, which knocked down Ruta, Blade, and Anubis, Jake shook his head, "We've got a long way to go"

"Alright Slowpoke, Venonat, Shellder," he said to his three waiting pokemon after the warm up with the tree stumps, "I'm gonna have you two try and attack Slowpoke. We are going to try and develop your Psychic skills Venonat and your resistance Slowpoke, and with reaction times from Shellder's attacks, okay!?" Slowpoke stood there for a second then nodded. Soon Venonat then began to use Psychic and Shellder used Bubble beam. Slowpoke was easily lifted by the confusion, however Shellder's Bubblebeam hit the tree trunk since Slowpoke was lifted so fast. Slowpoke then yawned and it hit Venonat's face, whom began to feel drowzy and released Slowpoke. Shellder then used Icicle spear and Slowpoke simply began catching them in his mouth and chewing them.

[Fader]

"Let's do that as well." said Joseph. "Absol, Quick Attack on Houndour, Houndour, jump and use ember on Axew, Axew, use your Double Chop to intercept the ember attack." Joseph said. Absol moved with amazing speeds at Houndour. When Absol almost hit, Houndour leaped into the air and used ember and fire flew at Axew. Axew used his 2 claws to swipe the flames. It didn't feel good, but it felt better than being hit head on by Houndour's ember. "Good job guys, fight like that in the gym battle and we have got ourselves a badge." Joseph said.

[Grunt Issun]

Jake pouted, "Hmph, of course YOUR pokemon can fight eachother well... wait a minute, Anubis, what was that move you used?" Jake asked, just realizing it now, Anubis thought for a moment, "Rio, Ri Ri" He explained, then ran up a tree, flipped off it, and kicked down with his flaming foot, "That was... Blaze kick!?" Jake said astonished, "What else can you do?" He asked, Anubis looked around, saw a large rock, lifted it up, threw it in the air, then charged energy in its fist, leaped up in the air, and uppercutted the rock, "Sky uppercut" Jake muttered, then shook his head, "Riolu shouldn't be able to learn these moves normally right? That means they must be egg moves! Hanbei, Josheph! Do you know what Anubis's dad is if it can use Sky Uppercut and Blaze Kick?"

[Fader]

"Blaziken!" Joseph yelled. "My Older Cousin picked Torchic as his starter, he raised it into a blaziken and it learned those exact same moves. That Riolu is amazing!" Joseph said. "Pokemon inheriting moves from their parents blows my mind sometimes." Joseph said. Joseph stroked Absol's mane. Both Absol's parents were Absol's so he just has pure Absol moves, but that's not a bad thing. Oh well at least Absol gets a good boost for his dark moves like bite." Joseph said, still looking at Riolu in excitement.

Hanbei gave a soft smile, "Well let me check my new Pokedex V.2" he said as he opened his golden Pokedex and scanned the Riolu, "Yup, its father is a Blaziken." Hanbei said smiling as he put his pokedex away, "Well isn't that neat? Also I think Slowpoke is on the verge of learning a new move!" Hanbei said smiling at the Slowpoke who was dimly looking at a blade of grass taller than the ones around it, "Or maybe its just me..." Hanbei said depressingly.

[Grunt Issun]

"A Blazekin eh?" Jake said in amazment, looking at Anubis in awe, "Wow, you've got potential huh Anubis?" Anubis grinned and put its hands on its sides, flexing. "Hey, don't get like his Absol now!" Jake told him, pointing with his thumb over at Joseph, "We don't need two pokemon with big heads" Jake said, "Anyway, lets continue our training, shall we?" Jake asked his pokemon, they nodded, "Alright then, Ruta, Water gun! Blade, counter it with confusion! Anubis, Sky uppercut Ruta!" He ordered, causing the huge ansomble to ensue, Ruta was sent spiraling through the air, still spouting water, with Blade holding still holding the water with confusion, causing a spiral of water to stick in the air, "It... Its beautiful!" Jake muttered in awe at the spiral made by them, he shook his head, "Maybe 3 pokemon fighting at once isn't a good idea"

[Fader]

"There is one move my Absol has that he got from his father, but I haven't used it yet, nor have I ever, and I don't think I want to unless a last resort. However, my Absol does know Perish Song." Joseph said with a frown. "My mother once told me about about Perish Song, any pokemon who hears it will faint." Joseph said. "That includes the user." Joseph finished. "I hear it's the sweetest melody you could hear." Joseph said. "But that's enough about Perish song, I don't really care about it and when Absol learns Razor Wind, It will probably be the move to go." Joseph said. "Speaking of Razor Wind, we only have a couple levels til then right Absol?" Joseph asked. "Sol." Absol said. "Cool." Joseph replied.

[Grunt Issun]

"I think Ruta learns Rage soon, which is pretty cool, considering how it just keeps building, and getting stronger!" Jake exlaimed happily, "So Ruta, lets get to that! Anubis, Blade, you guys team up on Ruta, do whatever you want, Ruta you just follow my orders as usual, alright?" Jake told them, they nodded, Blade and Anubis looked especially happy, from being able to battle together, they took position, Ruta stayed by Jake, "GO!" Jake told them, Blade used confusion to lift Anubis up into the air, then Anubis started his foot on fire, and shot down at Ruta, "Ruta, water gun!" Jake ordered, and Ruta shot out a stream of water, which first put out Anubis's flames, then quickly slowed him down, then completly stopped him, causing him to fall to the ground, "Now scratch him before he hits the ground!" Jake told her, Ruta ran forward, and just as Anubis was about to hit the ground, Ruta clawed him into it, causing him to bounce off, "Now a point blank Water Gun!" Jake told her, and she fired a blast straight to Anubis's face, when the water cleared, it was visible that Anubis was down for the count, Blade ran forward and used Confusion on a boulder, and flung it at Ruta, "Ruta, scratch the boulder in half!" Jake told her, she tried, but the boulder landed, and flew backwards, "Ok Ruta, you can take this. Now water gun!" Jake told her, she fired another stream of water, and Blade threw another boulder, the boulder started to push back the water, "Rrr, Ruta, FULL POWER!" Jake ordered, Ruta ground her feet into the ground, and leaned forward, and fired an even bigger blast through the current one, and it started pushing back the boulder, "A little more!" Jake eased, Ruta leaned a little more forth and shot more forth, throwing the boulder back at Blade, knocking him back, and knocking him out, "Nice going Ruta!" Jake applauded, Ruta grinned.

[Fader]

"Ok, coordinated like Jake's pokemon! Absol, use Aerial Ace on this Aspear Berry, then Houndour, use ember on each piece of the falling berry, and finally, Axew use Double Chop on each flaming piece of Aspear Berry to smash it into ashes!" Joseph ordered. Joseph Hurled the berry in the air. The Hasty Natured Absol leaped in the air and used it's blad to cut it clean in half. Houndour used ember and burnt the berry. Axew used Double Chop on each half of the berry and they turned into cinders upon contact. "Now, use what's in your blood and use Dragon Pulse on that tree." Joseph ordered. Axew used it's egg move, Dragon Pulse, and sent a purplish blue wave at a tree. The tree shook and berries and fruit fell right into Joseph's open bag. "And now you have yourself a snack." Joseph said. Absol and Houndour both used their heads to lift Axew up and cheer for him.

"Hey guys, we are gonna head over to the ocean and do some training there, just letting you know in case you guys need me or are ready to move on." Hanbei said as he ran into the forest, pokemon following. Once he got to the ocean front Shellder jumped in the water and began to play around saying "Shel-shell-shellder" Hanbei rolled his eyes and pulled Shellder out of the water, "We can play after training okay?" Shellder then closed himself in his shell and Hanbei began to laugh along with Slowpoke and Venonat. Hanbei then jumped onto a rock protruding out of the water and sat on the flat surface of the rock with his legs crossed. "Now, Slowpoke, Venonat, I want you two to concentrate and Shellder, I want you to try and break our concentration. You two will be focusing on me and in vice versa. Ready?" Hanbei asked as he closed his eyes. Slowpoke sat in the sand, closed his eyes and looked down, as did Venonat. Meanwhile Shellder was preparing distractions.

[Lexadin]

"Good use of your surroundings, but it will take more then that to take out Shade." Wilhelm praised his foe in a calm tone. "Now show him what I mean!" And with those words, shade flew away from Arcanine in an attempt to dodge its attack. And it missed, barely. However the tops of the extended flames still touched Shade and burned it. "Darn, a burn. I couldn't be more unlucky." Wilhelm thought to himself. "Shade use Night Shade." Wilhelm anounced and Shade replied by creating a frightening image of a Honchkrow intimidating Arcanine before it.

[Fader]

Joseph watched something move from tree to tree. "What on earth?" Joseph muttered. "Absol, Aerial Ace on that branch." Joseph said, not taking his eyes off the thing in the tree. Absol leaped in the air and hit the branch. From the tree fell an angry Aipom. "Absol, Quick Attack." Joseph said. Absol hit the Aipom. Aipom used swift. "Houndour, Ember on that swift attack." Joseph said. The two moves hit and exploded. "Axew, Dragon Pulse on Aipom." Joseph said. A purplish-blue wave came from Axew and it hit the aipom. The Aipom hit a tree and fainted. "Nice Job guys." Joseph said with a smile.

[Grunt Issun]

"You know, you sure have alot of kicking and ariel moves Anubis" Jake told Anubis as he was training by kicking the side of a tree, "Ri- Rioluu!" Anubis replied quickly, then went back to training, "Right... your father, you know female Lucarios like your mom are pretty rare I heard," Jake went on, trying to bond with his pokemon, "Riolu" Anubis muttered back, then switched to his other foot and started kicking the other side of the tree, "Ah, yeah, I guess they're has to be some..." Jake trailed off, he sat in akward silence for about a minute, the only sound comming from Anubib's foot thumping agianst the tree, "RIO!" Anubis shouted, he did a few handstand back flips (What would you call those?) and then Blaze kicked into the direct middle of the tree he was kicking, knocking the top off, and clearing a stump for him to sit on, "Ri, Riolu!" Anubis called out to Blade, he waited for a moment, then called, "Ri? Rioluuuu!?" He got up off the stump to see where Blade was, only to find Blade gawking over Ruta, "RIO! RI RIOLU!" Anubis shouted, causing Blade to stumble over, "Ralts, Ralts ralts" he replied, Anubis grabed Blade by the blade of his helmet and started to drag him back.

Adler smiled and said, "Arcanine! Protect!" A shield surrounded Arcanine, blocking the attack, "Now Arcanine, Return! Return all over that ugly bird!" Adler ordered, arms flailing about, the arcanine prepared to launch its attack at the Honkcrow Shade.

MEANWHILE

Hanbei was excessively training using concentration with Venonat and Slowpoke and using Accuracy with Shellder. Hanbei opened his eyes to discover that he was floating! He then saw a blue Aura coming out of Slowpoke's eyes, "Slowpoke! you learned confusion!!!"
