Remove post count in Clubs & Organizations.

Recommended Posts

The arguments for and against the removal of post count are both horribly bullshit.

If you want to remove post count, that means you actually care about people getting +1 post count for random spam messages. Which means you care about post count.

If you don't want to remove post count, that means you are adversely affected by the removal and will lose post count. Which means you care about post count.

Either way, it doesn't matter since post count is a useless number that is only good at deciding, as I coined it, the size of your "internet dick", which is wholly insignificant anyways.

I don't care to support or not support this because no matter what, YCMaker won't do anything about it, so it'll go in favor of the nay-sayers.

I'm completely against it.
It's big and hard to keep your eyes everywhere all the time, even though officially there are 5 mods enlisted to look after it.

But I think it's valid to keep post count (no matter if it's important or not) in this section as much as in any other besides Games, which is kind of like YCM's mental shift section.

By removing post count, people usually start caring even less about content of their posts and C&O would be treated like some under-forum where posts in general are unworthy, which it's not, unless people decide to post crap. But as a section itself, no. That's not the main problem since the forum itself doesn't know how to feel butthurt (the main problem is that YCMaker and Falling Pizza awake from their coma, but even then, their opinion wouldn't be very precise since they never look at the section). ...I understand myself *goes out*.

No support because posts in this forum are legitimate and people should be encouraged to make decent posts like in any other forum. If they're too spammy, they get deleted, which happens a lot.

(and I keep to myself what I already see coming)
