What eats at my soul is the underlying intent that's so subtle. I really like these helpful wordings. But don't use them as an excuse to dilute the already piss poor customer service we do get from konami.

Seriously, you need to stop this.

@Haou: For argument's sake, let's say that they're doing this MASSIVE revamp purely to get fans off their backs about how disorganized their rulings site and crap is, and their goal is that they wont have to deal with a flood of questions about cards and rulings.

This is a horrible, evil act because...? They're reducing the flood of people on their back because that flood doesn't NEED them to figure out rulings and questions when the cards explain the issues. The fact some Summon conditions are bluntly pointing out the Summon is from the hand clears up even noob confusion on the subject.

If they've got such an infamously poor customer service problem, and they're redoing their wording to correct this base necessity...how is this not addressing the poor customer service. Hell, they could continue having poor customer service, but now the absolute NEED for the customer service is cut by a massive amount, so instead of the entire fanbase raging about the poor customer service, it's just the few who are still confused, intended to become a minority.

I just don't see how making the game simpler to follow equates a plan to hide the fact their customer service allegedly sucks. They'd be putting an obscene amount of changes and money and effort into...letting themselves be lazy in the future?

Me thinks you want there to be a conspiracy to this effect.

Most players seem to be pretty happy/ eh with support.

As long as konami maintains the official judge forum and we don't have to live from YCS to YCS to get rulings answers then I will be happy. [/quote]

We'll just have to wait and see.

HOW HARD WAS THAT

We get great customer support from konami? Whewwww boy. Email them a question. Let me know when they answer. Have your store request a sneak. A regional. Try to organize an official hobby league.

I'm not talking about the performance of the TCG staff in America. Anytime I've EVER dealt with them (often in person) I find them to be amazing professionals who do more work in an hour than I do in a week.

Overall konami does ok - they're very slow to respond but that's understandable seeing as how they are a foreign company. There is no conspiracy here. What they are doing is obvious.

Ask your local store about how it is to deal with konami by comparison to other companies. That will help you frame this in a better perspective.
