Tyrus was in the ruins of a Gym in Kanto. The Saffron City Gym. He frowned at the sight of the bones scattered around the Gym. Seeing Spoons, he frowned. Alakazam Spoons. He precariously picked them up, and gave them to Revan, his Gengar. A single stone stood in the rubble. Tyrus was burying the bodies, Pokemon and Human alike, and giving them Gravestones. One Grave stood out; it was one of his own Pokemon. Geri(Sounds like Jerry), his Stantler. He'd had it since his original journey in Johto. It was killed in a foolish battle; by a Golem at the last second. Both Pokemon went down. Geri's soul was added to the Machine. The Golem was simply returned; Rocket Pokemon were given a Special Seal that would protect them from the Life-Sucking Rays of the Machine. Tyrus was silent, the little Joltik Victor flapping in the breeze, hanging onto the hand-knit scarf.

"Jeovanny, why are we going to lavender town? And by sea no less, we could've had a limo by now, filled with fresh Goldeen, the finest aged Magikarp, and Feebas imported from Hoenn!!" Xerxes was annoyed, he wanted to relax, he (his master technically) was the heir to an empire! But no, his master has to go to lavender town on a f****** Wailord because a stupid Pidgey gave him a mission request from Ranger HQ, and he had to eat a Raticate for Arceus sake! "Because you twat, HQ wants us to investigate Lavender Tower." "Psh, who cares? All it has is ghosts and carcasses, that's grunt work! We are the best of the best, give us something important." "That's the problem, there arent any ghosts." This sobered up Xerxes, and Tiny stopped in surprise. It seemed impossible, there were always ghosts in Lavender Tower, everyone knew that. "The tower is quiet, not a single ghost in sight for the past month, we were sent in cause we are the least likely to die, so no more lip understand?" They soon reach the harbor, the moment Jeovanny and Xerxes stepped off Tiny and returned him to his to his Net Ball, they knew something was wrong. The air was different, very few people were outside their houses, and if you listened closely there was an odd music playing, that seemed to loop after a certain amount of time. They spot the tower and head in that direction, eyes peeled and that eerie tune still playing. "I have a bad feeling about this." He picks up his Poke'gear and makes a call. "Commander James, it's me. Get a group of grunts together to do a sweep of Lavender Town, something's wrong here, very wrong, the Machine might have something to do with it." "Understood, your not usually this worked up about anything, I'll send a group of Rockets there, ETA 3 days or so."

The rookie trainer fell to the floor, a syringe sticking out from the back of the still boy's neck. The cloaked figure that struck the fatal blow stood over the trainer's corpse, underneath his hood the figure felt disappointed, the rookie was meant to suffer before the final blow was struck, but he struggled, and was accidentally stabbed in the neck instead. Chimera, the word being the figure’s name, looked round and took in the scenery; memories were attached to this place…

…The trainer was killed in Floaroma Town, though the iconic flowers that once decorated this place had all been destroyed, the soil was made barren the same way, meaning no more flowers could grow; this was where Chimera’s forces struck first in the Battle of Sinnoh, the madman remembering how his air forces bombed the town with toxic attacks. Chimera pushed the memories into the back of his mind and left, transforming into an Abra through his samples and then heading off to find his next target…

…He arrived in the ruins of Saffron City in Kanto and returned to his regular form, stretching his arms and yawning. As Chimera searched through the ruins in search of live trainers, he remembered how his assault on Sinnoh was thwarted by his own creations, and the efforts of a heroic team; the madman mumbled to himself, “Next time, my goals will be achieved…”

(Seriously, I had this idea beforehand.)
"Now, to give Memorial Incense at the Tower. Spreading Geri's Ashes with this will make sure I can keep going." And with that, he returned the rest of his team, flying on Izzy to Lavender Town. Returning Izzy, he noticed nothing yet. Tyrus walked into the Tower, and noticed Team Rocket. He slowly bought the Incense and hoped they wouldn't notice him. Tyrus was a face rather known throughout most Regions; a tough trainer, who walked alone. He used to fight all comers, but after the initiation of "The Machine", he would only fight Rocket trainers; in hopes to destroy the team.

Jeovanny was about to enter the Tower, there no outward signs of the Machine for the past week, other than every house being locked, and the locals weren't any help. He noticed the famous trainer Tyrus, and by the looks of it he was gonna try and be a hero. Ranger or Rocket approach? considering who it is, he decided to go with Ranger "Hey you! Its not safe here!" He whispered in his communicator, "Rockets, Blast Off! None of you can take on Tyrus, i will handle it from here, but thanks for the help." "No problem Boss, Rockets! This is Commander James, Blast Off!"

"Not now. I'm mourning the loss of one of my old team. Her name? Geri. She was a Stantler. She had lasted all the way from Ecruteak City. One of your f***ing Grunts killed it. She was weakened after defeating the Grunt. He shot her. Geri. Level 15-77." Tyrus told Jeovanny. "I am here to spread Incense for her, and nothing more. We can battle later. Just do your operation, and tell them to ignore my presence." He lights the Incense Fire for Geri, and slowly, with tears, carves the name "Geri" into the Stone for her metaphorical "grave" here in the Tower.

Jeovanny understood mourning his dead pokemon, but if he hasn't noticed the Tower is empty, and famous or not he might see some messed up things. "Listen i'm sorry for your loss, things were different before i started calling the shots." Why I told him that, not sure really, probably cause we were the only ones in the Tower. "Ironically enough I'm here as a Ranger, not sure if you have noticed but there isn't a single ghost in this tower, and several hundred graves are empty, I have been sent to investigate. So unless you plan on scaling this Tower you need to make this quick." Xerxes was surprisingly quiet during all this, even he has respect for the dead. However he kept his eyes wandering around, looking for anything out of place. "Xerxes lets move, we have a tower to scale." He takes out his Sliph Scope just incase, and proceeds to go to the next level of the Tower. He turns back and says, "if you see anything out of place around here just holler, so quiet in here you can hear a Hophip bounce." Xerxes follows, his posture still haughty despite being in a tomb.

Tyrus turned to Jeovanny. "Here. Take my Kricketune. He can hear sounds higher than you. And this Walkie-Talkie." He puts on a Friend Seal, and throws the Poke Ball to him, with a Walkie-Talkie attached on a Chain. "Return him when you are done, and I will message you for any oddities. Goodbye." The rest of Tyrus' Johto team, meaning Izzy, a Tyranitar named Ty, Revan, and a Piloswine named Mammoth, circled the old friend. One of the others had died before; a Ampharos named Shaun. He had fallen at the hands of the Champion, who he lost to. The five could plainly see the smoke show the ghosts final interaction for the Pokemon World: Shaun flying down to bring Geri's Spirit to rest. "I'll miss you, like I miss Shaun. But you lovers are finally at rest together." He barely choked out the words he etched into the stone for Geri. He remembered Shaun's stone, which was right next to Geri's, but not empty. He spoke them aloud: "You are at rest, old buddy. My second main Pokemon; i'll take care of your lover, Geri, for you. Goodbye, from Tyrus." Back then, he had witnessed Shaun's mother take him to the Spirit World.

2nd floor of the Lavender Tower: "Lets see what this Kricketune can do, come on out!" The pokeball opened to reveal said Kricetune, abit surprised at the Ranger appearing instead of his trainer. "You should be honored, you have the chance to help the best Ranger-Pokemon duo in the entire Kanto region on a mission of upmost importance-"Cut the crap Xerxes!" Xerxes did the Persian equivalent of a pout, he was merely informing the Kricketune of his place in this mission. "Listen Kricketune, we need your help your trainer Tyrus let us borrow you for abit. Ghosts are missing in this Tower and its way too quiet in here, see if you can here any wierd disturbances that we can't notice." Th Kricketune nodded, and as they looked around, they noticed many graves were ransacked. Xerxes was visibly angry at the sight of empty graves, claws at the ready. "What scum of the earth would disrespect the dead?!" Jeovanny couldn't stand this, someone was behind this, it must have something to do with the Machine. He uses his communicator "Ranger HQ this is Jeovanny, no sign of the ghosts, but hundreds of graves have been opened and are empty, and im merely on the second floor." "Copy that Jeovanny, keep scaling the tower and see what else is there." "Understood." They look at the Kricketune, but it shook its head. "No unusual noises aside from that looping music he says" Translated Xerxes. "Wait that music, there has to be a source for it!" They trio goes up to the next floor, and Jeovanny turns on that walkie-talkie he was given. "Tyrus? This is Jeovanny, your Kricketune is picking up some weird music, the same music i heard when first entering this town, im going to keep going up, if we encounter anything, my Persian Xerxes will deliver your Kricketune to you before it is harmed."

"Screw it. If anything bad happens, i'm coming up, Jeovanny. And my original remaining team will get a taste of what the other regions. Mammoth the Piloswine, my starter and Current Team Members, Izzy the Togekiss and Revan the Gengar, and Ty the Tyranitar. I'm going to get another of my team to make sure!" And with that, the Communication Temporarily cuts off. Tyrus smiles at the Ghosts hovering above him and speaks to them. "Stay there for a minute. I'll be right back." He then ran out of the Tower to the Center. He took out a member of his Current team, a Sinnoh Pokemon: Runei the Cherrim. He smiled as he walked back into the Tower and got the Spirits. "Stay with me, we're going farther in."

" Hmph, better get here fast cause I ain't waiting for him".
So far they were on floor 4, more and more open graves, no sign of the ghosts, same looping music. "There has to be something here, maybe at the top we will find our answer." The trio kept going unsure of what lied ahead.

Lance kneel on the ground. He meditated in front of what was once Bell Tower. This was his home. Or what was left of it. His Porygon-Z floated above him, a concerned look on it's face. Lance took one breath in, and let it out. In his mind, he saw a disturbing image. People in Lavender Town's tower. "No one should be there..." he said to himself, "And if it's machine members, they will all die!" Porygon-Z never liked to see the anger of Lance show. "Z...return!" Z returned to it's pokeball as Lance threw another pokeball and sent out his Hydreigon. "We're leaving...and we're headed for Kanto!" Lance hopped onto Hydreigon and they were off.

Floor 6 of Lavender Tower: "What the hell? How many floors are on this Arceus forsaken tower!?" Xerxes was getting tired of merely walking and looking around, each floor looked the same to him, and that damn music! "Am I the only one annoyed by the music?" "Nope." That looping music really grated on Jeovanny's patience. It was like being in a video game. Suddenly his communicator went off "Boss, this is Commander Jessie, there's someone, possibly machine, on a hydreigon heading for Lavender Town, be on your guard." "Thanks for the tip, Jeovanny out." Guess when this person comes Is when Jeovanny will get the answers he needs. In the meantime they just stepped on floor 8, not a sinle closed grave in sight.

Samantha was chilling out in her house in White Forest. "My Angelo, isn't it such a beautiful day. Today we go on a re-journey in the Unova region, the hard way."

"Hard way?" her nephew, Angelo, was curious. "What hard way? You never told me anything about this."

"Its hard to explain," Samantha replied. "well, I'll leave my valuable Beautifly and sweet lil' Tynamo at home. In fact, I'm gonna use an old friend I had in my old days..."

"[s]Rayquaza[/s] Wailord?" Angelo asked.

"I was tempted to, but no..." Samantha threwa Pokeball into the air. "C'mon out, buddy!"
Out from the Pokeball, emerged a purple street-lamp thing. "'sup," the lantern said.
"Nothing quite like Chandelure to warm us up," Samantha chuckled. "And there's also one thing I must do..."
"I know..." Angelo started sobbing.
"Well, we'll need a buncha Level 100s to do that so we better make a move."

Chimera looked down at the grave he uncovered, digging up the contents and placing them next to the grave. The madman knew right off the bat that this was a Stantler, but it had died recently, meaning that he could still get a fresh sample; a Drapion tail emerged from the back of his cloak, a syringe locked in the tail's pincers. Chimera brought it down on the Stantler's body and drew out the sample he needed, before removing the syringe and destroying the remainder of the carcass, the madman flicked out his phone and dialed a number...

"...Hello? Yes, this is Chimera speaking, listen, has anyone killed a Stantler not to long ago? Yes? Ah, so you would recognize it's trainer then? I see..." Chimera's Drapion tail slithered back underneath his cloak, the syringe's interior containing a strange pale liquid. "...You've seen him? Headed where? Thank you, goodbye." the madman hung up and looked in Lavender Town's general direction.

"This'll be fun!" he remarked, before heading off to find [Tyrus]...

Guy looked over Canalave City. Everybody looked dreary - and no wonder. The reports on the news he heard... a new organization, the return of Team Rocket? No battling, because a unconsciousness meant death now. He sighed. "Well... let's go... I don't even know anymore." He slumped down onto a curb. "I guess we could just go back to Fallarbor, then, and just go back to the family business. I doubt they've made it to Hoenn... or even Unova, they're both just too far away." He pulled out a pokeball, and released an Electrode. "I think... we need to go back."

The sphere grinned. "Yeah, yeah, we all heard you mopin' in there. Personally, I think you should try to take those guys on! You could beat 'em, we're strong. We could be like that... uh... what's his name? Red?"

"Look, I don't think-" "Aw, quit complainin', will ya?! I don't care what justifications you think ya have, but it's really gettin' on my nerves!" "I just think it's incredibly reckless to simply run into the guys with the big soul-stealing thing." "Well, too bad. I'll push ya if I have to." The sphere scowled. "I will explode. Right here. Unless we go and fight them. Now."

Lance hopped off of Hydreigon and returned him to his pokeball. "Lavender Tower huh....it's been a while. Can't believe this place is still intact." Lance didn't go into the entrance just yet. He fought the urge to go inside. "I don't want to suffer anymore losses...." he said, "But i have to stop these guys! That's why i've been training so hard with all my pokemon." Z let himself out of it's pokeball. "YoU'rE cRaZy If YoU tHiNk YoU cAn TaKe ThE wHoLe MaChInE gRoUp!" it said in a computerized voice. "Who else will?!" Lance shouted. "There's no freedom front! Or resistance that i know of!!" he sat down in front of the entrance to blow off some steam.

Floor 16 of Lavender Tower: "Wait a minute, wasn't there supposed to be only 7 floors? Who the hell made it taller?" Jeovanny had to agree with Xerxes on that one, this was getting ridiculous. Not to mention the slap in the face provided by all the gravestones that said their pokemon were killed by Team Rocket. He may not be a hero, but he will be damned if he lets some group that's not his try to run things around here. He will not make the foolish mistakes his grandfather made, he will make Team Rocket a force to be reckoned with, a force for good, by any means needed. "Hey there's someone down there!" Xerxes points to a smal figure down at the bottom of the tower talking to his Porygon-Z. Jeovanny decides to break a window and shouts at the bottom, "You! What's your business at the Tower- "Come at us Machine scum! Your cowardly organization and cowardly pokemon are no match for Team Rocket and the great Xerxes!" "Shut the hell up! Do you need a royal muzzle to keep your royal trap quiet?" Xerxes just had to jump in and assume, now they both look like asses.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! You're seriously willing to kill yourself over this?!" "Hell yeah!" "Well, look... I can't go against them, it's-"

*ring ring*

"Oh, this isn't a good time... Electrode, return!" He pointed his pokeball at the defiant sphere and called it back. "Wait, why didn't I do that before?" He pulled a cell phone from his pocket and put it up to his ear. "Now, Hello? Yeah? Wh-what?! Yeah, I'll come with you... Canalave... See you soon, then..."

He pulled out another pokeball, and sent out the much milder Weavile. "Francis... my brother... his Weavile is dead."

The Sharp Claw pokemon frowned. "Hm... I knew that would happen. She always rushed into danger blindly."

"You seem to be a bit too... okay with this."

"I'm a creature made of swords. Death is not something we deal with rarely. We just cope."

"He's coming for us, with his Dragonair. To take us to Lavender Tower. What else can we do at this point?"

"..."

Tyrus decides to jump onto his Togekiss, Izzy, and fly back towards the tower. "Jeovanny, Look out, i'm gonna break a wall! Izzy, Metronome!" Luckily, Izzy used Harden with this, and neither Tyrus or Izzy were hurt; but a wall was broken. Thankfully, it was the upper wall, not destroying any Graves. He heard the music as he and the Togekiss faceplanted hard on the marble floor. "Sorry, Jeovanny. Could I have my Kricketune back?" He looked at Jeovanny. But only Shaun, the Ampharos, appeared as a Ghost. He was in a look of distress, and silent words came to him: "Geri's Ghost is gone! Her body gone!" Which would be the only explanation for Shaun's loneliness. "Arceusd******! Whoever did this is going to ripped limb from- sorry."

Jeovanny had to facepalm at Tyrus's method of entering, this was a place for pokemon souls to rest. "You really know how to make an entrance, don't you? Here's your Kricketune, he was very helpful. Now I believe we have a tower to scale." They begin to scale the tower when they noticed an Ampharos ghost appear, a panicked look on its face. "Finnaly one ghost in this Arceus forsaken place!" What do you want?" barked Xerxes, ironic, being a Persian and all. He listened to the Ampharos's cries for help and proceeded to translate: "His friend, a Stantler ghost has gone missing, meaning someone has messed with the body it was bound to. Apparently this is yours?" Pointing at Tyrus as they walked up yet ANOTHER flight of stairs, with the SAME music playing. "We need to get to the top, and soon, before that kid with the Porygon-Z finds us."It's not that Jeovanny was, worried, he could take that trainer no problem in his opinion. It's that he could use all the help he could get, that kid could be a valuable ally.

Lance eyed where a voice yelled at him. "Someone is in there....and they've messed up my meditating!!!" Lance punched the ground furiously and sighed. "Let's go kick their asses..." He said. Z sighed as well. "YoU kNoW wHaT cAn HaPpEn In ThErE rIgHt!?" "Stop being a coward and let's go!" he shouted. Lance flew through the entrance and started running up the tower in search for the other people. Z bolted after him in an attempt to stop him.

Chimera entered Lavender Town in time to spot a trainer on a Togekiss fly straight into the Pokemon Tower, breaking the wall. Chimera realised that the trainer matched the description he was given, and that [Tyrus] was probably injured; with no time to waste, Chimera leapt onto the side of the tower, transformed his arms into a Bisharp's, and sunk his now steel hands into the Tower wall, he then began to scale the side of the tower...

When the madman reached the hole, he pulled himself into the hole and got back up on his feet...

"The ghost is one of the spirits still at rest on the first floor.... and my first lost Pokemon. He was my Second Pokemon. He did in Johto against the Champion; the only time I ever fought one. His name is Shaun. Plus, when I was flying, I noticed a man who could transform into Pokemon. As I flew in, he started his ascent of the Tower. Plus, Team Rocket has probably dug up all the Pokemon, and took their souls. When only the most important people can get higher than the sixth floor, that's possibly why all of these graves are dug up. I buried Shaun here in the First Floor because he was always Down-to-Earth, which is ironic for an Electric type. With that weird guy... I just hope he hasn't dug up their graves yet. Razor, keep a eye and a ear out for sounds and sights suspicious."

Top of Lavender Tower: "Hey my Team had absolutely nothing to do with this!" Jeovanny resented the accusation, he was trying to avoid the infamy of his legacy, guess it can't be helped. "As for the apparent inturder, one of us should- Tyrus goes down to face him I called it!" Xerxes wasn't about to lose his soul for some commoner and his pet ghosts. Jeovanny facepalmed, all that power and intelligence wrapped around cowardice and arrogance, guess he will have to volunteer. "Oh my, is the great Xerxes really afraid of one lone human? Tell you what, stay here where it's safe and I'll go down there and take the glory for-The great Xerxes never cowers before a battle!!!" Obviously it didn't take much to get him going again. "That human needs to hurry up, I will show him the wrath of Lord Xerxes." Jeovanny had to facepalm once again, now he's more an ass than ever. However despite his asinine behavior, deep down he cares about his master and his team. "That's the spirit, Tyrus you stay here, me and Xerxes will handle this." Before descending, he pulls out his communicator. "Commander James, this is Jeovanny, If I don't message back then some weirdo has beaten me in Lavander Tower. I couldn't get a good look at him, but from what I saw for a few seconds, he has messed with himself to the point of having pokemon body parts, like a..... Chimera." Jeovanny and Xerxes descended down the tower, ready for their first, and possibly last battle of their mission. "Hey, if I lose my soul cause of this- "Yeah yeah I'll give your body a royal funeral, your assuming your going to die and lose your soul."
