"I'll Volenteer!" Shouted Nova, over the chatting students. He was hoping that he would get a good duel. He didn't have his normal deck with him today, rather one he had coblled together from a new pack that had been released. There had been a rush in packs recently, and many new cards had been released. There was a certain person he really wanted to duel today. He looked around, knowing that that person was in the giant crowd of students, although, he was usually near the back of big crowds.

Kuroda Silently muttered; "I'll apply, not sure I'll win though." He looked through his deck, he was nervous. He didn't think his Fish OTK deck would be enough in a Turbo Duel. He pulled out his binder, trying to find his Speed Spell cards. When he finally flipped to the page, he got out several Speed Spells. He pulled out 3 Copies of "Speed Spell - Count Up" and 2 "Speed Spell - Accelerator Draw" and 3 Copies of "Speed Spell - Angel Baton." After class was over, Kuroda went to his garage to tune up his D-Wheel and then leave for the test.

The Duel instucter further commanded for the two Students to move up to the Track with the Duel-Runner they brought with them, asking them to decide who goea first.

Gajeel sat back on his seat, and waiting for the two duelists to rev it up. As soon as he saw one of the duelists' face, his mind went black, trying to play back on something like a distant memory. Hmmm...That kid does looked familiar, but where did I saw him before? Gajeel questioned in thought. Then kid's name got accounced, Nova. "Oohh, now I remembered." He thought about his days in Summer Acadamy. "Hmm, those days were fun, but mysterious." Gajeel said to himself, picking up the necklace around his neck, and looked at the two empty cards in a glass sleeve.

-Kuroda has brought duel runner-
Kuroda inserted a USB chip so he can finally ride with Auto-Pilot.

--Turbo Duel Starts--
I guess I'll go first.
Both players drew their cards. "Okay, let's go!" Kuroda shouted. "First, I'll discard 1 WATER Attribute monster from my hand so I can Special Summon 'Swap Frog' in face-up DEF Mode. Now, I activate the effect of the discarded card, Fishborg Blaster. I'll discard 1 card so I can Special Summon it in face-up DEF Position. Now, I tribute them both to summon Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth. I activate its effect to Special Summon 2 Fishborg Blasters and 2 Oyster Meisters. I tune 1 Fishborg with Coelacanth to Synchro Summon Stardust Dragon!
Now, I tune the Other Fishborg with Oyster Meister to Synchro Summon Armory Arm. I activate Fishborgs effect so I can Special Summon it.

KURODA'S FIELD:
Stardust Dragon, Oyster Token, Armory Arm, Fishborg Blaster,

I tune Fishborg and Oyster Token to Synchro Summon Formula Synchron. I activate Formula's effect to draw 1 card. Now.... CLEAR MIND!! Clustering crystal dreams open the door to a new evolution! Become the path its light shines upon! Accel Synchro! Be born, Shooting Star Dragon! *Formula and Stardust Tune*

Accel Synchro Summon: Shooting Star Dragon!

I end my turn.

Blake had arrived at Duel academy early, taking his seat at the front. No matter what, Blake wasn't going to miss anything on the first day. He'd never seen any of the other students before, and looking at the vast number of students Blake became worried. "How am I ever going to be able to show any potential when it looks like so many other talented turbo duelists have come here this year?"
Blake's worrying was cut short by the Instructor's speech, and his announcement that there would be a demonstration Turbo duel. Blake knew he wouldn't need a demonstration. "I could volunteer....this might be a good way to get recognized." However, no sooner than Blake had thought this two willing students had already come forward, and so Blake resigned himself to taking a back seat, watching from the stands. It would, however, be a good opportunity to judge the skills of the rest of the students.

"Well, that WAS a good move." Nova admited, taking a sharp corner. "But this one will be even better! Draw!" Nova shouted, pulling out the top card of his deck. He grinned. "I summon my Shine Knight in Defense Mode, who, thanks to his effect, is now level 4! Now, i activte the Speed Spell, Double Summon! This allows me, when my speed counters are 2 or more, to Normal Summon and aditional time this turn! So, come fourth, Warrior Lady of the Wasteland! Now, with 2 Level 4 monsters on the field, I can Overlay them to Xyz Summon my Number 39: Utopia! Now, I equip Utopia with Axe of Fools, Giving him 1000 extra ATK! Now, destroy his Shooting Star Dragon!"

Blake was right to be worried about the duelists at this academy. Judging by the first turns of the demonstrators, Blake wasn't going to have an easy time at the academy. Both duelists had summoned an extremely powerful monster in their first turn without being phased at all. "What am I doing here if I don't think I can stand up against these guys? I can do this, or at least try" Blake turned his attention back to the duel, as the powered-up Utopia launched into an attack on Shooting Star Dragon. Judging by the caliber shown by both duelists already, Blake guessed that it wouldn't be as simple as that.
As Utopia launched its attack, Blake began to survey the crowd of spectators, none of whom he had ever met, but it was obvious to tell that some of them meant serious business. That was fine though, Blake was ready for them.

On her duel runner, she charged passed every other car on the road at top speed making sure that she was not late for the first day at a new academy. Iko lifted up her hand to look at her watch, it was 20 minutes passed the first class time when she had to get there. "Run Run, don't be scared, I shall tear your eyes apart." said a ghostly little voice out of no where. Iko started to lose control on her Duel Runner, and ran into a pond. "What the heck Nightmare, do not scare me like that." she said to the little dark angelic figure. As she lifted her eyes, the duel academia was here. She grabbed her duel runner and ran to the entrance, within 10 minutes, she was there.

Kaden leaned back and yawned. He's felt like there was no use is watching since his lack of sleep came with a lack of interest. His hair fell into his eyes and covered them as his black jacket tails wrapped his legs and it was buttoned up. He was peaceful looking with a soft grin of his own as he considered and understood his normal strategies to get to sleep. The only entrance to the academy would leave Iko standing on the same side of the bleachers near Kaden while he rests. She should be able to notice him quite quickly though the link fo her soul to his arm. However, he's sleeping and mumbling things. So Kaden continues to sleep with his hair waving in his eyes.

"I activate the effect of Shooting Star Dragon! By Banishing it, I negate your attack!" Kuroda Shouted. The crowd was most likely screaming at the top of their lungs. (I'm just going to assume you ended your turn after that attack, kay?) "My Turn... Draw!" Kuroda yelled. I activate the card, Speed Spell - Count Up, so by discarding 2 cards, I gain 4 Speed Counters! Now I reveal the Speed Spell, Charge, I can inflict 400 Damage to you. I now normal summon; Royal Swamp Eel." Kuroda was sweating. He wasn't used to being in Auto Pilot mode. "I set 1 last card face down, I'd like to see you win on your last turn." snickered Kuroda. "I end my turn." If the duel went according to plan, Kuroda would win.

“Damn it! I’m gunna miss it!” Jax said. A speeding Red Black Duel Runner was passing cars on the road towards the Duel-runner Academy. The duel runner speeded ahead passed multiple cars and rushed off the side of the road. “This is more fun than I expected! I just hope I make it! From what I heard there is gunna be a awesome duel in the arena at the school, I just hope that…someone from the summer academy is there!” The duel runner landed hard on the ground and turned sharply landing perfectly in between two other duel runners “Holy crap! That was a close one!” Jax ran inside the building looking for the entrance to the arena “Great, don’t tell me I’m lost now!”

"Oh no you don't!" Nova shouted. "Before i ended my turn, i activate the Speed Spell-Double-up Chance! When my monsters attack is negated, I can have it attack again, with double the attack, for the price of 2 Spell Counters! Now, unless you have anything to add, thats game!" Nova shouted, not stopping his duel runner yet. There was always a chance that the opponent had the right card, even though that only happened about half the time. The wind blew his hair in his face, and he was glad he had auto pilot on for once. He zoomed past his opponent. It didn't really matter if he won or not, but he would like to win his first game of the year. That would be a real confidence booster.

Kaden sat up quickly, this move was surely impressive. Was it game? No one else knew if the opponent had anything down or up to help him out. "How odd, the lack of Life points made things too easy for someone who can stay alive and wipe out their opponent, the strenght of your monsters hardly mattered as long as you could attack directly. I should remember this if the rest of the dueling practice may have drills such as these." Kaden thought as he sat up from his long rest.

"Alright students, That is it for today! Just stay around here and duel as much as you want any way you want. I'll judge a few duels every now and then in my free time." The Duel instucter said, his big grin seemed to instill excitement in the smallest of people.

A surged passed through her body and she felt a sense that could only be related to Kaden's arm and her soul. She walked along a path towards the seats where her eyes rested upon a the figure and the arm that gave her the surge, "Hey Kaden, she said as her feet continued in the same position along the path. Her came to the seats and took a seat right near Kaden, but a few feet away so that she would not bother him anymore for now, since he was asleep at this time.

Jax had finally found the entrance to the duel arena, when he ran out he saw the final move of the duel, with a shocked and angry face Jax said “What!? I missed it! What the heck!” He turned to the side and noticed someone familiar sit down “Who is that? She looks so familiar yet…wait! That couldn’t be Iko!” Jax runs up to the girl and asks “Excuse me but, you wouldn’t happen to be Iko from the summer academy?” Jax hoped it was her, he hated getting embarrassed, especially in public.

Kaden Grinned as he recognised Iko from her synced soul with his left arm, and Jax. Kaden had been a little more involved with Iko than Jax, but it lasted all the same. Kaden heard Jax start talking with Iko so he listened into what he had to say. It was slightly a miracle Jax could notice Iko without the connection that Kaden sharred with her. With a sake of his Head, Kaden stepped down to sight near Iko and face Jax. "Hey guys, its me, Kaden. Whats up?" Kaden asked, his face grew to be more mature, as well as his voice. So he was a bit worried they might not recognize him.

Zane stood, turning for the exit. "Pfft, what a useless re-union." He muttered, just in ear-shot of Kaden, Jax and Iko. "Why is it that the duelists at these academies are so weak that they have to rely on their friends?" And with that, he left the building. He walked slowly towards his duel runner and paused for a moment to think. I'll prove my point to Kaden... He and I will duel very soon, and I can finally shut his friendship speeches up. With that he picked up his helmet, slowly lowering it over his head, hoping that Kaden received his hint.

Kaden gripped his hands and clenched his teath. "What does he even know about Friendship? The boys never had it before... Now that I think about it... He's always been this way." Kaden grinned slightly. "Maybe I should set him straight..." Kaden straitened up and leaped off the stands. His coat flailing around him as he landed and kept walking to the door. He encountered Zane outside, with his helmet on. "What's wrong Zane? You got the balls to stake your claim, but not the guts to stand here now and prove me wrong? You're such a shallow boy. No wonder you wouldn't know why friends are so importent. I'm not afraid to prove you wrong."

Zane turned, lifting his helmet off of his head. "Why would I duel you, Kaden? What's in it for me except proving to you that I am, and always have been, superior?" He smirked. "A true duelist needs no one else. Friends are nothing but anchors that hold you to the ground. I've already been accepted into the pros, Kaden, a feat you'd never even dream of accomplishing. Why? Because you're lost in a fantasy where you can please everyone. Truth is, the only person you should ever be pleasing is yourself." He held out his left arm, rose in hand. "So, are you gonna quit your preaching already? You're beginning to bore me." Zane wanted to rile Kaden up as much as possible before the inevitable show-down. The more Kaden was distracted, the faster Zane could defeat him.

Blake was astonished. Blake thought to himself; "This guy might win in the first turn!" As the Shooting Star Dragon removed itself and negated the first attack, Blake's viewing experience was disturbed. A few meters away in the same stands a group of students were talking, and as an arrogant looking boy walked away muttering something about friendship, one of the group followed him, seemingly challenging him. "It seems maybe that some of these people do know each other." Blake contemplated telling them to be quiet so he could watch the duel, but his interested shifted, and he decided to watch how these events unfolded instead.

Kaden's facial expression wavered, just for a second. He then looked directly into Zane's eyes as the marks on his left arm started to glow a deep purple and his voice appeared to be followed by a soft low ambient sound. "I have never met anyone as ignorent to the purpose of holding people as close as friendship, any more than you are. And how dare you claim yourself better than I just because you spend every minute without anyone to trust. It's sad really, just how badly I want to prove you wrong. If you're still clueless and ignorent to the strength of my deck and my friends, then you can meet me in the stadium they have here. I'll be waiting. But come prepared to be beaten like the friendless dog you are." Kaden never mean't that last sentence. For some reason, something else was talking with him. He shook it off as the purple light dimmed and he walked to the stadium.

Zane laughed egotistically. "You think I'd go after your challenge? You forget your place in comparison to myself. Kaden, if you want to battle me, you'll meet me at the top stadium tomorrow, at noon. Be late, and you forfeit." Zane wanted a more glorious victory, he knew there was a crowd where they were, but word would spread. He wanted to defeat Kaden in front of as many people as possible to finally drill into his "thick skull" that friendship meant nothing. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have more important matters to attend to." He had noticed the rose he held had began to wilt. He re-equipped his helmet, and mounted his duel runner once more. He shot off before waiting for the crowd to clear, causing a short moment of panic as bodies tried to clear the way.

"There is a point were being a loner and making your own rules is cool. He's just plain rediculass..." Kaden was talking to himself, he hardly noticed his arm was flairing a deeper Purple. "We'll be there Kaden, and we'll destroy his self confidence and leave him to wallow in his own self-pity over how and why he was such a failiure. We won't leave a shred of self-respect for the boy. Without his hot-headed confidence and ego, that man is nothing but a child." Kaden just walked in the door and ignored the fact there was a voice in his head.

From seeing Jax and Kaden, her eyes started to swell with tears, she was happy to see them here because she had developed a great bond between them. "Hey, Jax and Kaden. It is me, Iko. How have you guys been" she said before Zane and Kaden were in the middle of starting a speed duel. "This is not going to end well, Kaden always loved to get himself into trouble!" she thought from noticing how badly they were both neck and neck. She wasn't thrilled about what was going to happen here.
