In your opinion, what would start an argument? Saying something's not good, or saying I don't care, I'm playing for fun?

Not sure what you're on about exactly, but just because something's fun doesn't mean it shouldn't be good. If anything, it should still be as good as possible to provide positives from both the competitive aspects and the entertainment aspects. Why else would my main decks be HEROes, Gallis and Relinquished?

I mean if you don't want to win but you just want to play with a deck you like.

You're opponent keeps saying a certain card isn't good.

You keep saying you're not trying to play that way.

Opponent keeps saying you don't need to counter everything.

You are not countering, simply saying, I don't think you should have said that to me because I told you before, I never play competitively. It doesn't matter if you do or don't, just play.

Countering in that situation would be trying to prove it's good. I did no such thing with Athena, I wasn't trying to prove it's good.

Finally here.

So earlier ago I was facing this guy who uses DWs. First he discards Grapha and I assume he destroys a card but doesn't and I say it's Grapha's eff, but he says it can only be activated when your opponent discards it. -__- Next he activates Fabled Raven's effect twice, and I scold him again. Finally we argued over Depth Amulet being a cost or not and then he wins and I lose. Waste of 30 minutes of my life...

Made a Malefic/Skill Drain deck. Noob I was testing it on said I still couldn't summon more than 1 "because it's a condition, not an effect" as he put it. I said as long as they're not the same kind, I can summon as many as I want, but he just ragequit in the end. Unrated test anyways.

He was right there - Skill Drain doesn't negate the conditions, which is also why cards such as Stardust or Rai-oh can still activate their Tribute effects even while under Skill Drain.
