Ive had to much free time.

You overkilled it with the effects. It would've been better with textures and just basically a manipulation. However, I'd like to go over some main points.

Perspective: This is the main issue here. It doesn't really build up the image or the composition. The two focals are pretty much in different moods. Wolverine's mouth is open, hence he's shouting which means batman should be alerted and not confidently standing there. Everything needs to work together for an image of such style to make sense.

Lighting: The lighting here is pretty much all over the place. As I said, overkill with the effects. You gave to many lightsources which basically made it harder for you to blend.

Composition: Overall artwork needs to be composed better. Since you have a tablet, you might wanna paint over Wolverine's mouth just to give it a more of an "assassination" and a quieter atmosphere so that Batman does actually fit. I think the depth could use a little more work as well. Try to use adjustment layers a lot at the end just to give it a more developed feeling.

Sure why not.
Alright your first assignment starts now. I want three conceptual pieces (something with a concept, so preferably manipulation but if you can pull it with another style it'd be smart!) by tomorrow. Pm me them when you're done. If you don't get them done by tomorrow I'll increase each assignment by 2 pieces each time you don't get them done. If you can't because of something important then I'll give you extra time (don't expect too long tho haha). If you get stuck PM me. I'll get onto TeamViewer and help you out.

@Caveman: I actually like his perspective, as it is for the focals. But he chose the wrong baseline (the perspective line for the background). As well as the effects just destroy what this could have had (as you said). That also ruins the mood you had in this.

I'd think a more noir effect would have suited this.
