This is my first actual attempt at a good pokemon RP, so lets hope it turns out well... emphesis on hope.

[spoiler=intro] The Roxol region is a tropical island that recently got into the sport of pokemon. 5 skilled trainers formed the pokemon leuge together, and from them, chose the 8 gym leaders scatered across the region. New trainers from all over the world travel here with there new starter pokemon, to start in a brand new region, to make friends... and enemies.

---A new evil is rising---
Not all is well in the Roxol region, along with the introduction to pokemon, came the gangs of pokemon theives, namley the huge criminal orginization known as "Team Pheonix"
They desire only to destroy the Roxol region with the blaze, and build a new one from the ashes.

---The shining hope---
The gym leaders, the elite four, and the champion battle back the assults on the Roxol region. They serve as the great protecters of the Roxol region, but they may not be enough, that falls to the new trainers arriving by boat everyday, to fight back evil![/spoiler]

1. No god modding
2. No power playing
3. No meta gaming. These rules should be obvious, I shouldn't have to say them.
4. All normal YCM rules apply
5. No special types of pokeballs
6. Whatever I say, goes.

Trainer:
Name: [color="#FF8C00"]Jacob[/color]
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Appearance: Jacob is of medium height for his age, just above 5 feet. He has dark, dirty blonde hair which is usually uncombed, and messy. He also has a cowlic that doesn't seem to be visible, since he rarley cuts his long, thick hair. He wears an open brown jacket over a plain t-shirt. His jeans somtimes have tears in them, which he hates, but doesn't have enough jeans to do anything about it. His shoes are worn and falling apart, and commonly comming untied, making it hard for him to keep up with people, having to constantly tie them.
Personality: Jacob is a light-hearted person, he's very sarchastic and jokes alot. Despite this, he has a short temper and gets angry and dissipointed easily, though he's not violent by physical means. He likes to hang out with friends and play with his pokemon to keep a strong bond.
Bio: Jacob was born in the Jhoto region, though he didn't like living there, he lived in goldenrod city. The noise was to much for him to handle, he wore earplugs on a daily basis, so people had to shout to tell him things. Along with being loud, he would get lost... alot, he could never find anything anywhere, and crossing the street took about 30 minutes just waiting for the comute to pass. The only place he actually liked was the pokemon center, where he would talk to trainers about there pokemon, wishing he could have one. On his tenth birthday, he asked his parents if he could go get one, now that he was old enough, they said no, and that it was too dangerous, he asked agian when he was 11, agian they said no. He put up with this for a few more years, then, about a week after his fourteenth birthday, he snuck out in the middle of the night, and ran, biked, and rode all the way to proffeser Birches lab by morning, where he got a Totodile, and then bought a ticket for the Roxol region, when the boat set sail, he looked back at Jhoto and yelled one last thing, "Good bye goldenrod! Seeya suckers!"

Champion:
Name: [color="#800080"]Ray[/color]
Age: 22
Appearance: Ray doesn't have much of an appearance to speak of, he simply wears a shimmering white hooded cloak, all you can see of him is his black hair poking from the hood, and that there is a pokeball shaped crest on a necklace he's wearing.
Personality: Ray is a mysterious person, doesn't talk much, only comes out when theres a challenger, or when theres somthing important happening, when he'll do anything to help protect Roxol. The only ones that trully know Ray are the elite 4 members, even the gym leaders know nothing about him. Ray is a very heroic person though, appearing from nowhere to strike down Team Pheonixs evil desires
Bio: Ray was one of the first to get into the sport of pokemon battling, so he quickly became skilled, he traveled all over the world collecting pokemon for his elite team. He grouped up with 4 other trainers to create a new pokemon leuge, and then made the gym leaders. Not much is known about his actuall history. He is not well known in any of the other regions, as he did not participate in the leuges, he just captured some pokemon from them, befriending them and then training them to be elite. He desires friendship with his pokemon, but he also desires his pokemon to be powerful in order to be able to defeat the evil team pheonix. His best friend and pokemon Infernape is always with him, and he always talks to it, even when he knows it can't talk back.

Name: [color="#8B0000"]Zozin[/color]
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Appearance: Zozin, being the leader of Team Pheonix, wears very kingly gear, he has a long dark red robe, the gets progresivly darker twords the middle. He wears a crown that dips around his whole head and bears two golden wings on either side. He has long black hair tucked under the full head crown. Under his robe, he has dark red pants made from a soft material, they are loose, allowing for easy movement. He has his pokeballs tucked within his giant robe sleeves, and does over-dramatic geastures to send them out.
Personality: Zozin may at first seam slightly... insane, but he is really quite a smart man. He belives only he can rule this region, and the whole world for that matter, he wants to destroy all the towns and cities of the region, and then rebuild them in his own name, he wants to burn the forests and make way for training grounds of soldiers. Zozin, however, belives just as much in pokemon friendship as the pokemon leuge, and has made friends in all of his pokemon, who are willing to do anything for him, not just because he's there master, but because they belive in his motives.
Bio: Ever since he was a boy Zozin noticed everything wrong with the world, and always thought that he could do better, which is what drove him to what he is now. When he was wandering in the woods, mutering about every mistake the world was doing, he tripped over somthing, he looked at it and saw it was a pokemon, a charmander, whose flame was low, "Oh, I'm sorry" Zozin told the little pokemon, he saw that it was injured, not from him, but from somthing a while ago, but it was still in pain, "Here I'll help" He picked it up and gently carried it back home, where he nursed it back to health, "A man did this to you, am I right?" Zozin asked, the charmander nodded, Zozins face filled with hatred, "As I thought, this world is a terrible place! And I can rebuild it to be better, will you help me?" he asked, the charmander smiled and nodded. From that point on, he went out recruiting pokemon who went through the same peril that charmander did, and assembled a team to destroy the world and rebuild it

Appearance: Joseph's hair is a black color and he wear it long with bangs to his nose. He has Eyes dark enough to be considered black and wears a black Wife-beater with a denim jacket ofer it and a pair of Kahkki Slacks. He wears black boots and has a belt. He is about 5'4" and 105 pounds.
Personality: Joseph is a very laid back kid with the attitude to learn and have fun, he never fails to ask questions, but will never forget any advice he gets.
Bio: Joseph was born into a pokemon training family. His sister is an avid contest performer with her darling Togepi. His Mother Bird lover keeping a Wingull as a house pet. His dad left the family when Joseph was 5. Joseph was introduced to his partner, Absol by his sister. He and Absol have grown close between studying together and playing games together. Absol even went to school with Joseph. Joseph heard about the Roxol region and has decided to help out. He also loves Fire and Dark Pokemon and loves to watch Hoenn Elite Four Member Sidney Compete. Joseph wishes to see and maybe catch an Houndoom someday and to find his missing father.

Appearance: He is 6'5" and about 235 Pounds of Muscle. He has silver hair with a Silver Goatee as well. He usually wears a black shirt and some denim jeans with a pair of cowboy boots and a belt studded with steel. He always keeps a fingerless glove on his right hand.
Personality:Brent is a fun loving guy looking for a good battle. He always wants to Battle and test his pokemon. He is fun and not afraid to push you to your limit.
Bio:Brent first met steel pokemon when he decided to mine when he was 10 with his father, there fate occured and he saw a Registeel. It was then when he decided to become a trainer. His father agreed and helped him train pokemon that he caught. His first Pokemon was a Beldum. That Beldum helped him catch his other pokemon including Registeel. Brent then became a very good trainer and set sail to the Roxol Region to become one of the first Elite Four Members and one of the founders of the Roxol Region. He's dedicated himself to the Steel type pokemon and wishes to use it to save the Roxol region with an IRON fist...no pun intended.

Appearance:She is lean and has Pink hair that goes down her back to her waist. She likes to wear a red cape over her uniform. She is 5'4" and 85 pounds. So she is actually quite small.
Personality: She is sassy and sarcastic and not afraid to give her opinion. She likes to toy with her opponent before taking them down. She is actually smart though, always having good Ideas and always planning each attack carefully.
Bio: Nora Nyan was raised in the house by her parents. Her father had a rare encounter seeing a Ho-oh. She then Decided to become a user of Fire and Flying because she was mesmerized by the beauty of the Pokemon. Her dad left the house when she was young to go find the Ho-oh, but never returned. When her mom heard the news she passed out and went into a coma, causing Nora to be left alone. Just like her name which translates to "Stray". She was 10 at this time and her fate crossed when she met a Growlithe. She loved the Growlithe and trained it gracefully and buit up her team with her Proclaimed "elegant Pokemon" and Joined up with Zozin and wishes to help, after also seeing the troubles in the world from being alone.

Appearance: Long around waist length hair (blonde), medium height around 5'6-5'8, wears very elegant and pretty clothes, green eyes and a small nose, very slim
Personality: A very much spoilt person, wants everyhting done for her and treats people like she owns them, quite sad most of the time but only when people are not around, deeply cares for others but is afraid to show it as she thinks its a sign of weakness.
Bio: Lynda Kress was born to a very rich family of wealthy businessman and women. Her father ran a shipping company and her mother was a police officer. Ever since she was a little girl lynda was deemed different, she loathed pokemon battling and more loathed pokemon but as time passed she started losing friends because but ever since that day she has spent her days on the road trying to make up for lost time and doing as much pokemon battling as she can. Along her travels she has met many people but can still not conquer her biggest fear which is of bug pokemon which she deems to 'icky'. Her starter pokemon is a new found friend which she found on her last travel from an egg which a traveller gave her in exchange for her phone number (which she changed afterwards). The egg hatched to reveal a Sneasel which she has nicknamed 'Nezzle'.

Gender: M
Appearance: A dual colured jacket part yellow part green, long shoulder length White hair, wears sunglasses and head phones, doesnt wear shoes, a long scar down the left side of his face over his eye
Personality: Cold and calculating, very intellegent, stern and very judging, if you earn his trust he will warm up to you.
Bio:Duncan Rayne is what some people say the oddest gym leader around as instead of focusing on one type he mixes his team up by blending two types, electric and grass which leaves his competition dazzled as he can usually counter their every move. When he first hear about team pheonix he decided to confront them and took his newest recruit with him Grovyle. When he found a base that is now long since discarded he was met by what seemed to be a grunt and a raging battle ensued. His Grovyle easily took down their Spearow but when he sent out a Charmeleon he was destroyed by his fiery attacks but as his Charmeleon was reading for the final blow Duncan stepped infront and took the attack leaving him with a scar on his face. He kept Grovyle and has trained him to defeat anything which comes in his way.

Accepted, If I am allowed, but one thing I will have to ask N. I don't know if you can have sneasel as a starter.

I hope N sees this so I can get his jurisdiction.

Oh and N, If we can have a non-starter pokemon as a starter, could I change Torchic to Absol.

Yes, you can accept people, and yes she can have sneasal, and yes, you can have absol. I just wanted to use Totodile to show how much dedication he actually put into running away.
But yeah, now we have a gym leader! ony 3 more elite 4s, 7 more gym leaders, and a few more trainers to go!....This is going to be a long Not started period.

Oh, and by the way, I will always see it, because I'm always checking... like litteraly almost every 10 minutes! I just got distracted.

Oh, and one more thing, take luxray instead of Riakou, I don't want too many legendaries
