Hey – hey! Wake up! That’s it … come on … wake up.

Oh good, glad to see you’re functioning properly. I was kinda worried you wouldn’t – maaaan, we had a tricky time pulling you through to here. Hmm? Hey, c’mon, gimme a cheerful look – oh wait, you can’t, sorry, my mistake. Just … yeah, just keep looking like that; you’re doing great!

Anyway, welcome to the Enzyme Testing Workers’ World, or more specifically, the Industrial Academy for the Mentoring of New Enzymes’ Wellbeing, commonly abbreviated to IAMNEW (I know, clever, isn't it?). I’m Test Subject Silver-067, and I’m responsible for supervising you lot. What’s that? Ah, I was going to get to that – you see, we live in a micro-world, just under all the solar systems, and once in a while, each planet experiences a kind of earthquake that kills a few of whatever life form is on there, and then sends you toppling down here for us to catch and change you into an Enzyme. According to my records, you are from planet … Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy, correct? Nod if – oh no, don’t, you can’t do that anymore.

So, the bad news is, you’re dead in your world. Awww, c’mon, don’t act like that – the good news, you are alive, and you’re going to live again … yeah, even though you’re now Enzyme. Well, don’t let that ruin the fun! When we’re not doing serious stuff down here, we party – no, seriously, we do. Take it from me, I’ve been here for 200 years.

So, being an Enzyme now means you get to function in these gorgeous pieces of armour (don’t be worried, you’ll get used to them). You can do all sorts of stuff – notice those robotic legs you’ve got? With the right upgrades, you can run faster than a cheetah, and jump higher than a pogo stick. Hey, look at this – that’s right, it’s your own gun! You can fire these at the Orange and Green Enzymes – you’ll see what I mean later – but don’t think of firing them at each other, you’re just as vulnerable to those bullets, and it’s going to get messy if somebody gets hit.

Oh, and one more thing before you go; you had Pokémon in your world, didn’t you? Ah … I’m so sorry, but we couldn’t rescue most of your Pokémon team, but don’t despair, our database has records of all known Pokémon, and … well, let’s just say we’ll help you rebuild a team.

Now go on, see that door there? Off you go – you need to practice using your armour first.
Enzymes
This is what everybody looks like:

Now that you are Enzyme, you can still communicate with other Enzymes telepathically. As you are starting the RP a week after the intro happens, you will have grasped the basics of your armour, so you will be fully capable of walking without falling over, and might just manage the odd sprint or two.

As an Enzyme grows older, you will eventually be capable of showing expressions; as of now, you will just keep a very straight face. Also, as you will have not yet mastered moving your Enzyme body around, unless you do something really violent that shakes you, it’s unlikely that your Enzyme body will move at all. Once you can move it, you can do things such as nodding or shaking your head.

Your armour is still quite fragile, and if a bullet hits you, the glass will break, thus your Enzyme body will spill out, and your armour will be immediately deactivated. If such a case happens in the RP, then you will have to wait for several posts while the teachers recover you and give you an exact copy of your broken armour.

Pokémon

The Enzyme world has no physical Pokemon; instead, each armour is adapted to have Pokémon data stored into them, which allows for a transformation. When an Enzyme selects to transform – for example, Togepi – it will undergo a literal transformation that makes it resemble a Togepi, and the armour’s weapons then becomes whatever moves that their Togepi currently has (in this case, a LV5 Togepi means that the Enzyme will be able to use Growl, Charm, and Metronome).

While you are in this mode, it is still easy for your armour to be broken by bullets. If you want to switch out of this mode, you need to perform a reverse transformation.

Dorms (Building 047)
This is where all the students sleep; there are roughly fifteen dorms, and each dorm has up to six jars that are quite far spread from each other. At night, all Enzymes go to their assigned jar, and their armour will automatically open the glass and tip them out into the jar. When it comes to around six o’clock, the armour will automatically lift up the jar to tip the Enzyme back into the body.

When one wants to leave the dorm, there are six teleportation tubes available, and all of them lead to Building 229.

Building 229
This is the main building for IAMNEW. Like all other IAMNEW buildings, it is hexagon-shaped with a dome roof. The walls are painted purple, the floor is black, and green florescent tubes provide the lighting. When a student comes here, they have the option to enter nine of the ten other teleportation tubes (one of them leads to the staff room, hence no access). Aside from that, there’s not much use staying here.

Building 397
Students go here for Armour Care classes. It is one of the most spacious, and extremely clean. There are armour showcased against the walls, and it shows the evolution of the Enzymes’ armour.

Building 854
Students go here for Communication classes. It is arranged in a more lecture-styled manner, with desks that can easily be clasped to other desks to form a much longer table. It also makes it convenient for students if they are required to attempt communicating to more than two Enzymes.

Building 628
Students go here for Physical Movement classes. It is four times as high as Building 229, and is often full of moveable platforms, teleporters, harmless lasers, mock Enzyme enemies (for older students) and lots of safety equipment.

Building 989
Students go here for Shooting classes. This classroom is shaped like a key, due to the need for a shooting range. Around the sides are protected stands, and all students must wait there for their turn to have a go at shooting.

Building 151
Students go here for Theory classes. This classroom’s layout is highly similar to Building 854, except the tables are fixed.

Building 552
Students go here for Transformation classes. This is the only classroom that can change its layout just like a Pokémon battlefield can. It is also one of the more spacious classrooms that allow for plenty of space (so as to adjust to bigger Pokémon such as Gyaradoses)

Building 093
Students go here for Dexterity classes. The layout is almost identical to Building 628, and the obstacles are similar. The only exception is that there are no teleporters.

Building 237
Students go here to use the gym/practice fields. The gym is used solely to train students’ movement; the practice field can be used for anything, including shooting.

Building 082
This is the emergency repair room, and is only used when a student’s armour has been broken. When the mechanics are not dispatching new armour, they spend their time investigating into new technology, and generally developing the armour. They also control the Pokémon database and IAMNEW’s Intranet.
1. All YCM rules and RP rules apply.

2. This RP operates on a three-warning strike system; break any of the rules more than three times, and you are banned from this RP until further notice.

3. My word is final.

4. As the mechanics at Building 082 don't have enough time to take in individual student demands for their next Pokemon, all Pokemon that are assigned to you in the RP will be randomised.

5. Do be sensible, and don't go abusing your gun/transformations. The less people that need to be repaired, the better (it would help with the smooth running of the RP).

6. Have fun!
Age: 20

Gender: Female

Enzyme colour: Ferruginous

Armour colour: White

Personality: Caroline comes across as a contemning person, and when one knows her a little longer, sometimes she can act and speak rather shadily. She has a heavily cynical view of the world, being absolutely convinced that everything is done purely for the benefit of others - so it would be reasonable to argue she has a Marxist point of view. Unsurprisingly, this leads her to distrust relationships, and it also makes her mind think in a very cautious manner. She is unlikely to rush, and can keep a sometimes alarmingly cool and emotionless take on situations, regardless of how urgent they are. She is also quite sharp and intelligent, and this could be a good thing, depending on whether you're an ally or a foe of hers.

Age: 200+ (exact age unknown)

Gender: Male

Armour colour: Violet

Personality: TSS067 comes across as a rather optimistic, sanguine person who enjoys having fun and being social. He certainly has a benevolent disposition, as he had been among the earliest to rescue the newcomers to the Enzyme world. His ever-bright temper makes it difficult for him to be upset, and he certainly seems to enjoy guiding new people along their way. He can, however, get a little too ahead of himself and therefore make the occasional blunder; fortunately, he is normally self-correcting, as shown in the intro.
