Super Half Vamp Riku
Yeah, I made an official one. You can discuss this in that thread. http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/250270-the-offical-final-fantasy-thread/
CamperCarl00
That thread is too generic to support a discussion that doesn't switch topics every 3rd post. In Dissidia the most powerful character has got to be a tie between Laguna and Shantotto. Shantotto is a character that focuses in being able to kill you flawlessly while being one of the speediest characters in the game. Laguna on the other hand has many fast attacks where if you're too close to him it will hit no matter how you move or what you do (very similar to a pro Cloud of Darkness player except it's much easier to use Laguna). Besides the somewhat cheap and overpowered characters, there's Golbez, Cloud, and Terra who are powerful through skill and experience. Though they did nerf Terra's Blizzara, she still has a very versatile and potent Meltdown spell which keeps players on their toes.
The Amazing Avian
You neglected to mention Jecht in the skill & experience category. You gotta figure out all of his combos to be able to do any damage with him. I still haven't figured out where Laguna hangs from when hes on that rope. Tourmaline
Yes, I main Tifa. I was showing off assists more than feinting skills. I could feint much better if I wanted to. Besides, that was actually me two weeks ago. I've actually improved. Still a pretty decent video.
Yeah, but Jecht takes too much work when he's too forward and predictable that he can be blocked a lot. He definitely does take a lot of experience to play, and I personally can't play him so kudos to whoever can. Nice Tifa video, I was using her as my brawler character on my time for a long time until I picked up Prishe. BTW, do you focus on Assists or EX or both when creating your character (Since EX mode and Assists conflict with each other in Accessories). This Account is Unplayable
Own the original, shame my dog chewed through my PSP's charger. But I intend to get a new one, and get Duodecim. I mained Firion in the original, and I doubt that'll really change much in Duodecim, I just find him so much easier to use well than other characters.
The Jecht Block is unbreakable, pretty useful when playing against melee characters, his combos are devastating, and his HP moves can be charged for an insane amount of damage or just to lure them into attacking because you can hold it for as long as you want and they will get bored. I also find it easy to take on casters when using Squall. His whole moveset is based off taking on Ultimecia so he blocks most magic with his HP moves.
I'm not sure but I think Cloud's EX mode still cancels out Jecht Block, once again though, Jecht Block is more risky than a normal block and has a long lag time after it's initiation with only half-a-second of protection which requires a lot of skill and foresight to be able to use effectively (Not to say that it sucks, and in the first Dissidia the hardest block to pull off was an EX mode block which required split second timing and reflected ranged HP attacks when done correctly). Squall is fast, but I find that he's lacking when compared to other characters since a lot of his HP moves can be avoided because their tells are so obvious and straight forward. I myself am a player that loves to play with Casters over melee characters so I know how to deal with melee characters. With Ultimecia it's all about setting up the purple shots and using the axe (charging to full when they charge and using the quick tri-shot when they're farther away). She's not my favorite though since Shantotto is simply amazing at taking out an opponent when she has the right equipment and skill set and Terra is fun and easy to diversify your approach when attacking an opponent.
