The Life of a Pirate Episode 1 (Finished)

OK, imagine this being said by Stephen Fry.
'And so, our heroes after landing on the coasts of the island walked on the land, venturing into the deep jungle. They came to a town of tribespeople and they stayed their to regain their energy and continue the battle. The tribespeople offered a guide into a large cave that supposedly went deep into the Earth, below sea level, making it suitable for a Sea God such as Leviathan. McGraw, Jonathan, Aras, Scarlette and Skipper had arrived to the cave...'

'Alright, we're here.' McGraw stood in silence and marvel in the entrance cavern. It was enormous, a large drop which at the bottom was calcium enriched milky water. Stalagmites and stalagtites where frequent, some even causing paths to be blocked and some created paths of their own. However, an unatural sight was there too. A kind of mechanism that made use of cogs and a chain. It seemed that it would allow them to cross the cavern without having to follow it's maze like structure. 'Well, we're going to use that.' 'But Cap'n, we don't even know if it's safe.' 'That's why you'll test it, Skipper! Now get on there you w*nker, your slowing us down.' Skipper gulped as he entered the bucket like transport that would either carry him to the other side, or break, sending him to his doom. It activated. 'Ok...ok...it's going to be fine...' Skipper reassured himself. 'C'mon, c'mon!' The mechanism worked effectively and Skipper was across. 'Alright guys! I'll go light up the next room while you guys get along!' Skipper informed the squadron. 'Well, who's next?' McGraw asked.

'Despite the squadron scavaged through the ancient ruins, some pirates where left behind on the ship. A wise decision of McGraw's. The King has sent another Naval Crew, this time they had 60 men onboard. But little did they know, the talent of our heroes is unmatchable. Even though they were less in number's, it was still one ship.'

Cook looked on the horizon. Ben was also keeping watch. 'Hmm...what is that on the horizon?' Cook said. 'Rench, come here.' He said to a crewman. 'What's that?' 'Looks like a ship...is that a Naval Sign?' He replied. 'A Naval Sign...? All arms on deck! The king's sent another one after us! All arms on deck!' Cook ran from post to post, looking for someone who would take charge...

The Copy of Scarlette then said to her "Hmmm... It does seem that your friends are gonna be in deep sh!t" at which the copy walked up to Scarlette, she tried to move, but she was frozen into place, at which the copy smacked Scarlette across the face, Knocking her out...

Scarlette woke up as she heard all the commotion and quickly got up and scrambled to get out of what seemed to be her bed, but it turned out that she was carried into the cavern, She was saying "Woah! What The!? That was some really strange dream!" She looked around, She suddenly saw some Whiskey bottles with Fuses on them, She holstered them and said to herself quietly "Thank you Blaniss...". Scarlette waited to go last...

' 'Bout time, sleeping beauty' McGraw croaked with an obvious sore throat. 'Well, as I said...who's next?' McGraw questioned his crew. '...no-one? Fine! I'll go you filthy bunch o' cowards!' He got in the box and it activated again, clinking and rattling it's way to the other side of the enormous cavern. He saw a statue built on a high up platform, now weathered down so it was impossible to reach. 'While I'm waiting, bit o' target practise couldn't hurt.' He took out a pistol, and with his legendary marksman skills he shot out the diamond encrusted eye at such a trajectory that it rocketed out of the statue and into Scarlette's hands. 'Oi! That's mine! I want it when you cross!' He roared back as he was taken to the other side.

Scarlette said to Mcgraw "I'm not that interested in treasure, But i could always use your empty bottles for good ol' explosives, I'm just here for the thrill" She got on another box and started to cross using the Mechanism. As she waited, She heard whispers and laughter, She heard "You are going to die, Little Sister! You and that big Oaf McGraw are going to die!" She shook it off and got off the Box on the other side and handed the diamond to McGraw...

'Thanks, could use this for some rum!' McGraw said to Scarlette. He then counted who had reached the other side, which was Skipper, Scarlete and himself. He turned back to the box heading to the remaining crew. Then he looked at the crew and yelled 'MAKE YER WAY ACROSS! I'M GOING FOR THAT EYE!'. He turned to Skipper and Scarlette 'Let's go, they'll make it when they're ready.' He and Skipper went deeper into the cavern. The next room was rather different, it was a small cave divided in two by a wall with a iron bar gate. It looked like a guard post, as there was a skeleton in armour on a stool near the door. 'This doesn't look...right...' McGraw said, suspicious of what possible traps could be in this room. 'Want me go first, Cap'n?' Skipper asked, as he pressumed that McGraw would just use him as bait like he always did. 'Go ahead.' was McGraw's reply. Skipper walked uneasily to the gate, tried to open it, but he couldn't due to it being locked. He took a step back and thought 'Let's see...why would there be a guard post here and no key...' He scanned the environment '...Maybe...' Skipper lifted the helmet of the guard...below his helm was nothing...except a key. 'Yes!' 'Well done Skipper!' McGraw said, still scanning the environment. Skipper then proceeded back to the door. 'So, just turn it...' A trap door opened below Skipper. 'SKIPPER!' McGraw yelled as he approached the hole...

Scarlette had saw that trap coming and grabbed Skipper before he could completely fall through it and with a mighty heave, She threw Skipper back up where she was, Which she said "We need to be more careful here, I barely saw that coming... Anybody got a Rag so i can check to see what's at the-" She was interrupted with another whisper, as well as an uncomfortable feeling in her shoulder. She grabbed into the shoulder area in her dress and what did you know, A Rag, She looked at the air with a smug look as she lit the rag and threw it down the trap door....

'Hmm, so will the gate open?' Skipper asked. He went and tried, but no success. Skipper looked through the bars, but he saw no exit. 'Hold on, if we came down the signle route that lead us here, but this is a dead end, which way do we go?' McGraw was puzzeled, but then he smirked. 'Alley-oop!' He jumped straight into the trap hole. 'Cap'n!' Skipper yelled, pressuming his father died. 'Not to worry!' Skipper looked and saw McGraw on his two feet. 'The Trap Door is our path! Look!' He pointed down a long corridor. 'But how do we get out...we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. In the mean time...' McGraw proceeded down the hallway, Skipper jumped into the hole and followed. 'I can roughly see the next room, Scarlette!' Skipper said. 'It's quite large, and there is an enormous altar with a hole behind it. It's going diagonal so it probably is some stairs.'

Scarlette Jumped into the trap door and landed near Mcgraw and Skipper, however, she started entering into some kind of Stupor again. She moaned, saying "Not now Blaniss... I need my senses", at which she heard a giggling, This time, McGraw and Skipper could hear, a voice then said "Okay Little Sis..." Scarlette regained her senses and said "Woah, that felt so strange, anyway, That looks like an altar to the Leviathan, I get the feeling the Desecrating this altar may incur it's wrath..."

'Hmm...well then, we'd best investigate.' Skipper said to them. 'Remind me, who's in charge?' McGraw questioned him, followed by laughter and 'Your doing good kid. Go on, bait monkey.' Skipper went into the room and looked at the altar. 'There's shackles, so I guess it was for sacrafices. That means Leviathan is definately carnivore.' He the looked back and saw that the altar had a lever. The diagonald hole wasn't stairs, but the whole altar itself was a elevation mechanism that reaches the two places. 'Guys, come down! It's an elevator.' Skipper shouted to his friends, who were still keeping n eye out for traps. Suddenly an enormous stalactite came crashing down and destroyed a large proportion of the floor, which created a hole that was just smaller than the width of the room. 'Sh*t! That was too close!' McGraw said. He looked into the void, and saw more calcium enriched milky water. 'It's quite high up, almost reaches our feet as we speak. That elevator will take use under the sea itself. These tribespeople are excellent architechts.' He thought. He ran over to the altar. 'You coming, Scarlette?'

Vryn looked up at the call for all arms to the deck. She pushed off the wooden rail she sat on and flipped gracefully backwards, landing on her feet. His crimson eyes looked up to Cook and Rench as she made here way to where they stood. In a quick flick of her wrist, her spear was out and the blade was lodged into the wood as she used it for a leaning post before speaking. "What's this I hear about King's Men coming to attack us again? Don't these dogs have anything else better to do with their time than to tail us?"

"Yes I'm coming..." Scarlette said as she simply walked around the void and into the Altar/Elevator, She waited for the others and for the elevator to go where it needed to go, but she fell into her stupor again, She fainted on the spot and was out cold, her breathing was slowed as well....

Scarlette woke up in a dream again and yelled "What the hell's the matter with you Blaniss!? Are you trying to get me killed!?" Then she heard giggling and said "Sorry Little Sis, But i had to... I have some advice for you", Suddenly, That copy appeared behind her and started whispering into her ear....

McGraw saw Scarlette faint. 'Scarlette?' He went over to her but she was out cold before he could try prevent her falling on the stone. 'Skipper, your decent at this sort of thing right?' 'S-s-sure!' 'Ok, I'll take us down and I'll carry on, make sure she's all right.' McGraw pulled the lever and the Altar/Elevator lowered down the tunnel. There was bubble-like windows in the tunnel, showing light from the lagoon above and the sea below. As the Alter/Elevator was descending McGraw checked the Altar for riches, only finding a candle. 'Aah! Useless.'...

Quite a while later...

Skipper was still atending to Scarlette, who was unconcious. The Altar/Elevator came to a halt when it reached yet another small room with a guard post, similar to the last one. The difference was there was no guard's skeleton and the gate was open, allowing them to continue to what appeared an enormous ocean temple. 'Ok, Skipper, do not leave her side untill she comes through. Not even if I die! Understood?' Yes, Cap'n.' 'Good' McGraw proceeded past the gate and into the temple. It was magnificent. A spherical room made of pure crystal with a body of water. There was various pathways, creating some sort of labrynth of walkways. McGraw approached the central area but a voice in his head could be heard. [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYYUAAAAUUU!'[/color] 'What was that?!?' McGraw drew out a pistol in one hand and his cutlass in another, monitoring the entire sphere. [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYYAAAAAUUUU!'[/color] Suddnely, an enormous crash and splash could be heard...

...was the legendary Leviathan! It destroyed the central walkways as it rose from it's slumber. 'Oh...my...lord...it's true!' Leviathan swung it's tail towards McGraw in a Flail-like movement. The attack destroyed even more of the walkway and sent McGraw plunging into the water. 'Mmm! MMmM!' McGraw surfaced and fired 6 bullet's from his pistol aimed at Leviathan's underbelly. CLINK CLANK CLINK They bounced off of Leviathan as it roared [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!'[/color] 'Sh*t, what the f*ck am I going to do now!' McGraw caught hold of a walkway and ran towards Leviathan. [color="#0000FF"]'GYAU!'[/color] Leviathan shot a sphere of water straight at McGraw. Suddenly McGraw's eye twinkled and he jumped straight at it, thrusted his cutlass through it and landed safely. 'Ha!' However, the amount of force of the water took fatigue on his body. McGraw thought and waited. 'Tough scales and underbelly...what's it's weakeness?' [color="#0000FF"]'GYAU!'[/color] Leviathan swung it's tail again, this time creating a wave, smashing McGraw into one of the sides of the Sphere. 'ARRGGHH!' Leviathan submerged underwater, saw McGraw and charges straight at him, mouth opened wide. McGraw swam and leaped out of the water, but Leviathan quickly turned and flew up into the sky, then shooting back down, aiming for McGraw, once again mouth opened wide. 'Sh*t!' McGraw yelled as he just doged it's slam. 'When will they get here!' Leviathan flapped it's wings, creating a small hurricane and various whirlpools in the water, making it even deadlier to fall in it. Leviathan then roared [color="#0000FF"]'GYAU!' [/color]as it shot a blast of water straight at the hurricane, launching it towards McGraw. 'AAAGGGHHH!' He was sent flying, but he managed to land on it's head. He landed on it's eyelid. As he stared into its beautiful, sapphire blue eyes, he said 'That's it! The weakspot!' Unfortunately before he could strike it Leviathan shook frociously and launched him off. He landed in the water, near an isolated walkway floating on the water. 'Come on Scarlette! Wake up!'

[OoC: Remember, Leviathan can be controlled by anyone so long as they are fighting him]

Scarlette heard everything clearly in the dream, at which the Copy then Whispered "I have said what I needed to say, Go help your captain..." At which in the dream, Scarlette passed out...

Scarlette came to, hearing all the commotion in the next room, it turns out what she heard in her dreams was right, McGraw was fighting the Leviathan, She rushed in, Thinking of a plan while a miniature hurricane shot at her while attacking McGraw, She simply Jumped high and completely dodged the Hurricane, Some sort of Dark energy surrounded her that she could sense, but she decided to ignore it, She then leaped onto the floating walkway near McGraw and asked "Need a Hand?" Pulling Mcgraw out of the water...

'Thank the lord! 'Bout time you...' [color="#0000FF"]'GYYAAUU!'[/color] 'Sh*t!' McGraw pulled Scarlette into the water, avoiding Leviathan completely trashing the walkway she stood on. When they surfaced he said 'Where's Skipper?' Leviathan came up close and sniffed his prey. The great beast then roared [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYYYAAAAAUUUU!!!!'[/color] 'YAAAA...!' Skipper, yelling a battle cry, came charging in with a lit match and some paper with dust on it. He lit the clean remains of the paper and threw it in the now reachable Leviathan's eyes. Th edust reacted with the flame, causing an enormous flash. 'GYAU!' Leviathan was blinded. 'Skipper!' Skipper saw the look of relief as he helped McGraw and Scarlette out of the water. While this was going on Leviathan, being blinded, smashed it's head against the crystal sphere and surprisingly despite the amount of force the crystal didn't even twitch. 'Well, it seems if we blind it enough, it'll hurt itself to a point when we can finish it of, so long as we survive 'till then.' McGraw strategised. 'Ok, distribute the paper and good luck!' Skipper evenly split various sheets and matches and they separated in the sphere. 'Oi! Leviathan!' Leviathan turned it's aim towards McGraw. 'Come get me!' 'GYAU!' McGraw lit a match as Leviathan shot forth a pulse of water. The energy knocked McGraw onto his knees, dropping the match into the water. 'Damn!' Leviathan charged at him as he lit another one. [color="#0000FF"]'GYAU!'[/color] He swiftly dodged and Leviathan hit the crystal sphere's walls. Then McGraw lit the paper and *FLASH* he blinded Leviathan again. 'YES!' [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYYAAAAUUUU!!!!'[/color] Leviathan roared as he was once again blinded; the confusion caused him to smash his head aggresively into the walls. When it regained sight, it opened it's mouth wide at the very top of the sphere, which was unreachable to any throw. 'What the-?' Leviathan shot forth a beam of highly concentrated energy, causing an enormous shockwave in the centre of the sphere. Waves created by this rippled accross the field, not destroying walkways, but knocking Skipper into a whirlpool. Leviathan took it's eyes on Scarlette. As McGraw saw Skipper, he threw a rope in. 'Skipper grab on!' He then thought 'Now that I ain't aimed at, I can rescue my son!' Leviathan roared [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYAAAUUU!!!' [/color]and swung its tail towards Scarlette...

Meanwhile on the ship...

Cook was impressed that Vryn took charge. 'All right lads! Listen to the Drow!' The crew began preparing the cannons and awaited orders. Some unsheathed swords and got behind some ropes, whilst others began preparing muskets.

However, on the enemy ship...

'Well, sir, shall I prepare the...device?' 'Yes, activate it immediately.' One of the marine men began walking into the the ship and took out a spherical device. It began to whir. Suddenly it opened and shot out a buldge of hot sludge towards the Pirates' Ship.

Scarlette narrowly dodged the tail, then held on as the Leviathan lifted the tail and climbed further up it, She's not gonna take on the weak spot just yet, she found a decent sized gap in between the scales, and with that, She stuffed an explosive under the Scale near the tail and lit a short fuse before jumping in the water. Suddenly there was an explosion, a single scale flew from the Leviathan and into the water, causing the Leviathan to roar And swing wildly, trying to hit Scarlette, With her dodging...

Vryn's eyes snapped to a large black object hurling towards the ship. Normal reaction time would have dictated that everyone should get below the deck, just on the off chance that this thing hurling towards them was corrosive. Vryn's reaction, however, was a little different. With a quick kick of her boot, and a more or less sucker strike to Cook and Rench, the hilt of her spear connected with the two men on the upper deck and knocked them down the stairs into the lower deck. Her eyes then returned to the now closer object, as she readied herself. She exhaled slowly as she rushed to meet the thing head on. Her spear lunged up in her hands as they began to work quickly, spinning the weapon around like a shield. Splatters of sludge hit the ship's sides, a little splattered on the deck itself, and even the tiniest bit hit one of Vryn's arms. After the rather disgusting thing had been more of less disposed of, Vryn looked down to everyone and spoke. "Well don't look like a pack of headless chickens, turn this ship around into firing range." She looked to Cook and Rench who were still on the deck holding their stomachs. "Didn't hurt you did I?" She chuckled.

[color="#0000FF"]'GYAU!' [/color]Leviathan was rampaging after one of it's scales was chipped off. It was furious at Scarlette and began to charge a energy bast attack. [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYYAAA-YAU!'[/color] It's attack was interrupted as McGraw stabbed it in its revealed spot. 'HA! How's that!' Leviathan twitched and sent him flying. [color="#0000FF"]'GYAU!'[/color] was echoed as the creature roared, it shot another blast of energy and struck McGraw's back. 'ARGH!' He was sent crashing into the top of the sphere, his sword penetrated it. He was hanging on the sword. [color="#0000FF"]'GYAU!'[/color] Leviathan saw him and jumped towards him. 'AHH!' McGraw pulled out his sword and jumped off Leviathan. There was a crack in the sphere, which grew as Leviathan smashed into it. Then, the sea water began pouring in. 'Sh*t!' McGraw yelled. 'Skipper! Scarlette! Run! This place'll flood!' Skipper heard the command and tried to get Scarlette to escape. 'McGraw shot Leviathan's eye at an angle so perfect that it chipped a large blob of it. The glowing blue blob fell and landed in his hand, it was just larger than his palm. 'YES!' * [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'[/color] roared the Great Beast, it's eye severely bleedin. It managed to get sight of the fleeing Pirates. It was furious...

*Meanwhile on the ship...

'Sure did, Ms. Vryn.' Rench said. 'Oi! Madam! We need to blow up these codgers ASAP!' Cook yelled. 'I'll get the crew launching those cannons!' Cook went in the lower levels, ordering the cannon men to prepare and fire at will. 'Well, I'll get the other's ready for battle!' Rench said, as he got up and yelled a battle cry, enthralling the other men onboard as they readied to board the ship. Suddenly everyone heard an enormous cry...

Scarlette Ran with Skipper until she realized and said "Wait a minute? What about McGraw!?" Then she said "Skipper, Go on Without me!" At which She ran back into the Area that was flooding, and after throwing a bomb at the Leviathan, Which exploded near the other eye, She dove into the water to grab the Scale she blew off of the Leviathan, However, The water was rising and she got out of the water to look for McGraw, She called "Cap'n! Where are you?"...

'Scarlette!' McGraw yelled. 'Come on!' He met up with her. Then before they began to escape, he looked at the being and stuck his middle finger up at it. 'See you later!' He grabbed hold of Scarllette's hand tightly as they ran backto the elevator. Skipper was trying aimlessly to pulled the lever, but didn't have the strength. 'Come here!' McGraw said as he yanked down the lever. *CLINK CLUNK* *WHIRRRRRR* The elevator was on the rise, but they could here an enormous shattering sound. Water from the sea was flooding the lair at an enormous rate. The Sphere was already completely submerged. The water was literally chasing the elevator. '[color="#0000FF"]GYYY[/color][color="#000080"]AAAU[/color][color="#8B0000"]UU!'[/color] Leviathan cried and then...*SPLASH* *THUD*...Leviathan had died, blind and bleeding from it's eyes...*FLASH*

'Well, you actually did it.'
'Impressed?'
'No.'
'What? I killed the unkillable!'
'With help from your friends. Also, it's not immortal.'
'Why was it trapped?'
'The Divine. He sealed him there. Nothing can break it's tomb...well, nothing but pure corruption.'
'Aww, that's so nice of ya!'
'Where are you heading now?'
'Well, once word get's out, we should be taking requests and missions.'
'Taking a more lucrative turn?'
'It's always been about money.'

...*FLASH*...The elevator/altar stoppd at the room with the enormous abyss, now filling up with more water. The romm was covered in wet, murky water and then... 'Crap!'

Scarlette looked down into the Abyss and then at the other side of the door, suddenly, Scarlette heard a voice "Little Sis... Take me into you and I will help you escape from here..." At which Scarlette took a deep breath and closed her eyes, She twitched a bit before opening her eyes, Instead of her typical red eyes, Her eyes became completely black. and with that, She turned to McGraw and said in a very different voice "Follow my Lead", At which She walked amongst the Abyss, but instead of falling into the Abyss, A Very thick block of Dark energy Materialized below her feet, She continued walking, Making a bridge across the Abyss...

'Hmm...what's worng with her voice?' thought McGraw. 'Never speaks like that. And that hocus-pocus? Just seems like nonsense to me...but best go with the flow.' he concluded in his mindless rambles and groans in his head. After they crossed, McGraw and the Group ran to another dilma, the trap door. 'Great!' McGraw yelled 'What the f*ck are we going to do now!' Suddenly an enormous rush of water flooded the small walkway and forced them out of the trap door by flooding it. They made a run for it, the mechanism that would take them across now broken and their crew of Jonathan and Aras waiting for them on the other side. They had to make their way through the labrynth like cave before the water would flood it. Skipper thought 'What if I don't see Vryn again?'

Scarlette, Who was possessed by her Sister, Whom she calls 'Blaniss', Ran with McGraw, She uttered "Little Sis! That is all I can do for you right now! Make the Next bomb Count!" Aras woke up, he had passed out upon approaching the cave, prior to passing our he remembered he saw the face of a man , he couldn't recall his appearance but remmebered he saw something. he sat up and rubbed the back of his head.

"Right onto the Leviathan." He called out, he then stopped walking forward however as he saw people running from the cavern followed by a large amoutn of water. A sweat drop went from his forhead as he slowly walked backwards making his way to the ship.

"Wait did they already defeat the Leviathan?! How long was I passed out for?"

The glowing blue blob fell and landed in his hand, it was just larger than his palm. 'YES!' * [color="#0000FF"]'GYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'[/color] roared the Great Beast, it's eye severely bleedin. It managed to get sight of the fleeing Pirates. 'Sure did, Ms. Vryn.' Rench said. 'Oi! Madam! We need to blow up these codgers ASAP!' Cook yelled. 'I'll get the crew launching those cannons!' Cook went in the lower levels, ordering the cannon men to prepare and fire at will. 'Well, I'll get the other's ready for battle!' Rench said, as he got up and yelled a battle cry, enthralling the other men onboard as they readied to board the ship. Suddenly everyone heard an enormous cry...

The cry caused Vryn's neck and head to snap up, looking about. "Oi, get this f**king ship turned and get those cannons loaded now you pack of dogs." She sneered, showing the very less than lady side of herself. Looking more Drow than ever she glared at Rench and Cook. "Get yer asses moving you worthless piles of flesh!" She growled as she ran to the wheel, cranking it hard so the ship would turn. "All hand's get the led out of yer pants and prepare for battle, and if they don't kill us....we'll feast on their stores of rum and food!"

'Follow the rope...good idea!' Skipper agreed. 'Whatever, we haven't got time to debate!' McGraw roared at them. 'Now run, or the water will get us cut by these sharp rocks. We'd probably bleed to death.' He started running, and then saw on the otherside Aras was awake. ' 'Bout time, sleeping beauty! Come on! Do something!' Skipper and Scarlette weren't far behind, he guessed. He then took out his trophy, a glowing blob of Leviathan's eye. It shined gloriously, and then suddenly the spikey maze shifted into the ground. '...Well! There we go!' Unfortunately, although this speeded up their escape, it also speeded up the water filling up the cave. McGraw made it to Jonathan and Aras and saw Skipper and Scarlette running. Suddenly ([color="#0000FF"]GYYYAAAUUU![/color]) A loud sound similar to Leviathan's voice could be heard. But it was much higher pitched, as if was owned by a baby.

Meanwhile on board the ship...

'Geez, she sure is sour when she has power.' a random crewman said to another. 'Hey! That's a rhyme!' He responded '...and I hope it ain't a crime!' They laughed as the launched a cannonball at the enemy. 'Madam! We're doing fine, but we need more gunpowder!' Rench told Vryn. 'Where does McGraw keep it?' However Cook, enthuising the cannon men, was too busy working on them. Rench then said 'Also, we're running low on weaponry!'

However on the Naval Ship...

'FIRE!' The Captain ordered as the crew shot aimlessly and hopelessly. 'Ready, Marksmen! Aim! Fire!' A volley of bullets tore the Pirate's ship's sail asunder. 'Let's see how they do without a sail...' the Captain said, gloating which followed by a sinister chuckle.
