All I hope is they finally get off their ass and remake Pokemon Box. (Coz I hate the idea of Ranch) As for the controller, it would be strange, since it's nearly handheld console size. At that point people that got it early won't feel burned and by cutting the price then it should drive up sales a decent amount. Especially if the big name games come out around that time to. The fact that they will laugh at Sony should they do it would be a bonus. I've been posting a lot more, so if people have a problem with you they REALLY have one with me. [/quote] U and Vita were cool. I have a lot more investment in Nintendo so I naturally enjoyed them most. Still, Sony had a good showing and after the PSN debacle they might finally be moving up again. Microsoft really feel flat. I can safely say I had to change my underwear at least fifteen times before I ate dinner. I wrote down comments as I was watching, so expect a large post with me restating a ton of what other people said. So, the intro song was amazingly awesome, and I know I'll have a lot to add to my iTunes when the new Zelda games roll around. [b]A lot.[/b] The topic of video game music being integral to games was orgasmic, and seeing Miyamoto open chests to the chest music was hilarious and inspiring. The orchestral Zelda tracks were simply amazing. [b]Simply. Amazing.[/b] I didn't really know about how the presented the information, order-wise. Last year they were super-clevar and introduced the 3DS first as a "new" piece of technology and gave us a bunch of "old" remakes to go along with it. This year... it seemed kind of odd the way they presented everything. [B]ZELDA. CONCERT. IS. ORGASMIC.[/B] I am willing to bribe my sister to drive me down all the way to New York (five hours) if I have to just to go watch that. I am the only video game music nerd I know in real life, and this experience would be simply amazing. "Do a barrel roll"!?!? NINTENDO KNOWS ABOUT INTERNET MEMES!? Luigi's Mansion in 3D? Freaking awesome, considering chugga just started a Luigi's Mansion LP. MK3DS LOOKS AWESOME AS HELL BUT I WAS SUPER-PISSED WHEN THEY SAID THIS HOLIDAY SEASON BECAUSE THAT MEANS I HAVE TO WAIT FOR LONGER AND I DON'T WANT TO WAIT FOR LONGER OH NO! Super Mario looks... like a handheld Galaxy game but much more awesome. I love how they are so vague about all of their dates - "before the year is over". Seriously, they just want us to drool and commit suicide before they release these games. I like how they added a ton of online play for a lot of their games, since that will attract a lot of people looking for more multiplayer options. And the 3DS has better WiFi than the DS, from my experience. POKEDEX 3D IS MEH. THe Wii U is a terrible name, in my honest opinion. I get the logic "hurhur we + you", but it just doesn't work. I would have preferred if they completely ditched Wii as a name, but whatever. THE CONTROLLER IS A REALLY SEXY AND ORGASMIC IPAD RIPOFF. The controller seems kind of gimmicky, but since they barely said anything about the actual console, I am not ruling anything out. People thought the Wii was a gimmick and is the highest-selling console of anything out right now, so they've shut up pretty nicely. SMASH BROS. [/quote] The issue, from what I'm seeing, is that much of the new stuff we learned about was heavily Kinect-oriented. Which is......simply put, not what gamers wanted. [/quote] This view might have something to do with my dislike for COD, but it's a game we knew about, from a super milk franchise, that is multi platform. People may want it, but it's really just a meh start imo. And Microsoft did have some interesting things to show like ME3, GoW3, and Halo 4 but that alone isn't enough to save it, especially when we knew about 2 of them for a while and Halo 4 was leaked before the conference started.
