I for one thought that the PSP was fine, but the Vita is definitely improving upon it. If only it had backwards compatibility for UMDs like the 3DS does for DS cartridges. That absence of backwards compatibility is a major drawback, because most people will decide that they're better off keeping their PSPs, which is what I'm doing until more games are announced that make me want a Vita.

Overall, it was decent. Overstrike looks like fun, and I was incredibly happy to see that Sly 4 trailer, but everything else, even Vita, made me feel a bit empty inside, especially since their conference felt like it simply ended.

What's this about the Vita being a potentially decent handheld that doesn't spawn from Nintendo? I don't believe what I'm hearing, and because I didn't watch Microsoft's or Sony's presentation, I need some details on the latter, really only with respects to the Vita.

I unfortunately can't skip school tomorrow to watch Nintendo's presentation (curse you finals and your finals review!), so I'll have to watch a re-run. I am looking forward to the ton of 3DS games they'll throw at us, and am eager to see the new console, despite the fact that I unfortunately won't buy it. I don't think I want to lug around a huge scrap of metal to college when I probably will never use it. D:

Even though Nintendo's conference hasn't happened yet, I have to wonder, just what will happen next year? The only thing the Big Three can do is talk about more games, which runs the risk of Microsoft or Sony having to resort to unveiling their new consoles, and even though I can only see Microsoft doing that. Maybe if Sony focuses less on 3D and Move and more on games we actually want, then at least that would be an improvement.

If they announce that tomorrow, it would probably annoy those who already bought a 3DS, but for the most part I think it would be best to do it now. The 3DS hasn't sold as much as they would like, and with Ocarina of Time 3D coming out soon, more people will be buying a 3DS now. Then again, I was hoping to finally buy my 3DS tomorrow, so we'll just have to wait and see. Still, a price drop, while too soon for the system, would be a hilarious retaliation against Vita.

I wasn't really caring for the Vita until I saw what it can do and the games it has. Although I'm still probably not going to buy since I don't have enough money for it, let alone money for the 3DS.

Can't wait for Nintendo conference. =D

I for one really like the touch capabilities of the Vita, but I didn't see a game that made me buy the system. Considering how my PSP library consists of Daxter, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Secret Agent Clank, and assorted Square Enix games, I was hoping Square Enix would announce something. Guess I just need to try out other PlayStation franchises.

Vita at the same price as the 3DS could spell trouble for Nintendo.

... Competition is always a good thing though. Possible 3DS price cut on the horizon?

TAG was saying the same thing when I was talking to him about it. IMO with Vita likely coming out next year the 3DS will have time to carve out it's market and will have a decent number of good titles out. Also, after a year I can see it getting the price cut down to 200.

Wait, what channel is the Nintendo thing going to be on? Is it on TV at all? I must see it! D:

If you live in Manhattan you can go down to Nintendo World to watch it. Side from that G4 has it. Plus it's going to be streaming online so you have loads of chances to see it.

I just watched Sony's press conference videos on Youtube, which was WAY better then the Microsoft press conference. All Microsoft talked about was the upcoming Kinect games and such, the only thing that was good was the announce of Halo 4. Looks like Xbox users aren't gonna have such a great time in 2012, unless they like using the Kinect.

I'm not sure whether I should rejoice or go FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU------

Let's hope this new company that has Halo does it justice. Not only that, but Halo Reach is still fairly new, I say they should wait for the next Halo game.

Something big is gonna go down.

Odd way to start, but they are addressing the overlooked piece of gaming with the music. It's so important for creating mood and atmosphere.

Now on to the Zelda games.

Free 4 swords O_0

SS out this holiday season. And gold Wiimote is cool. Zelda concerts......interesting. CD is cool since people love them some game music and getting it is often a super pain.

Overall, not a bad start, but not a strong one.

Is the free four swords for the 3Ds too? I don't have a DSi and at this point it would be 100% pointless to buy one.

I'm hoping since it would be a bad move to ignore 3DS with it's weak sales.

Mario Kart 3D. Under water driving and car customizability. Lots of cool retro tracks.
Star Fox 3D. Starfights seems cool. Motion controls is nice. Out Sept.
Super Mario 3D: Super Mario meets 3D Mario sweet.
Kid Icarus: Still looks amazing: Multi player battles nice. His voice is meh. lol trading cards.
Luigi's Mansion 2: O_0
Resident Evil is cool
Mario and Sonic
TETRIS
Tekken
Pacman
Snake Eater
Virtual Console is going to be sweet
Free Excitebike always cool
3D Pokedex: Interesting and FREE

Project Cafe is looking epic. If it can truely satisfy both hardcore gaming and casual gaming, I won't need to buy the next Xbox.

OMG OMG OMG NEW STARFOX BARREL ROLL (Edit: Thought they were talking about a new console game, already knew about SF 3D >.>)

*Dies*

Edit: The guitar solos in the background in the mario kart trailer is distracting.
