Lonk
Alien Plague Level 3 DARK Reptile/Effect ATK/500 DEF/2100 When this card is Summoned, remove any number of "A" Counters on the field. During each of your End Phases, destroy all cards with "A" Counters on the field. The number of turns this effect lasts for is equal to the number of "A" Counters removed. (If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter during damage calculation only.) Alien Worm (lol) Level 4 LIGHT Reptile/Effect ATK/1800 DEF/400 While you control an "Alien" monster, you can Special Summon this card in face-down Defense Position. When this card is flipped face-up, draw 1 card for every 4 "A" Counters on the field. When this card is summoned, distribute "A" Counters on all of your opponent's monsters equal to the combined Level of "Alien" and "Worm" monsters you control. (If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter during damage calculation only.) Alien Star Level 5 LIGHT Reptile/Effect ATK/2400 DEF/0 While this card is in your Graveyard, this card is treated as a Level 4 monster. If this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Alien" monster from your Deck to your hand. (If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter during damage calculation only.) Alien Idious Level 1 DARK Reptile/Effect ATK/800 DEF/0 When this card is sent to the Graveyard and you have a Level 4 or lower "Alien" monster in your Graveyard, Special Summon it and distribute "A" Counters among all cards on the field equal to it's Level. (If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter during damage calculation only.) Cosmic Horror Gil'por Level 2 DARK Reptile/Tuner ATK/700 DEF/1000 If this card is used for a Synchro Summon, this card's name becomes "Alien Ammonite". When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Alien" monster from your hand. Alien Mastermind Level 6 DARK Reptile/Synchro/Effect ATK/3000 DEF/2500 "Alien Ammonite" + 1 or more non-Tuner Reptile-Type monsters When this card declares an attack, you can take control of all monsters with "A" Counters your opponent controls. They cannot declare an attack. During the end of the Battle Phase, remove 1 "A" Counter on all monsters who switched control by this effect and return them to your opponent's side of the field. (If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter during damage calculation only.) Alien Domination Normal Spell Card Special Summon 1 "Alien" monster from your hand or Graveyard and place 2 "A" Counters on all monsters your opponent controls. You can Banish this card in your Graveyard to take control of 1 monster your opponent controls with "A" Counters. It is destroyed at the End Phase of the turn. "A" Zone Banishment Continuous Spell Card Once per turn, while you control a face-up "Otherworld - The "A" Zone", you can remove from play 1 card with "A" Counters on the field. That card is returned during the controller's Standby Phase. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
Worm looks really OP'd. You could quite easily end up drawing the entire deck, or at least half of it. Also, it seems like Plague makes Incubator and Ruins useless. Also, Mastermind needs Mind Control-ish clauses for the monsters he takes. Link to comment
Lonk
Plague is more meant to fit in his own Alien Variant and Chaos Aliens, not one that runs Ruins or Incubator. I was thinking about it, but at the rate A-Counters spread, you won't draw into much earlygame and in critical points of the game. It's why I let it go. So a good Mindmasterish effect is to take control of an opponent's monster during the Battle Phase with "A" Counters and use it to ram into other monsters until End Phase? Link to comment
Boss Z
Chaos Aliens, 'nuff said They seem way overpowered... but that is what Aliens need, so I like it But Worm is namely the card which over does it... Link to comment
Bringerofcake
Plague is more meant to fit in his own Alien Variant and Chaos Aliens, not one that runs Ruins or Incubator. I shall concede this point. I was thinking about it, but at the rate A-Counters spread, you won't draw into much earlygame and in critical points of the game. It's why I let it go. The thing is not that it relies on other A-Counters, but on its own abusability. You could in theory put a lot of A-Counters into play quickly with the first effect/Gol'gar, then Book or Meteorite it. Sure, currently A-Counters spread slowly, but the draw is per A-Counter. Aliens can easily pick up 1 or 2 A-Counters, especially when counting Gol'gar/Overlord/Ruins. That's enough to make its advantage back, and all the other advantage gained works like Card of Safe Return. So a good Mindmasterish effect is to take control of an opponent's monster during the Battle Phase with "A" Counters and use it to ram into other monsters until End Phase? What I'm saying is that you are more or less using Mind Control on everything your opponent has with no penalties to you at all, and even some benefit. You can attack, Tribute, Exceed, Synchro, and all sorts of shenanigans. Mind Control lets you take 1 monster only, and it can't attack or be Tributed, and goes back at the End Phase, and that's Limited. This thing needs to be toned down.
Link to comment
