Two-Hundred And One
Brolly's gym is just too easy to beat in a regular run. Grab a Sableye. You're now immune to every move in the entire gym. DS is dead, no updates. Also, Ty, no Geodude? Then again, it's still 4x weak to grass. Ergh. Finally, any person who completes a challenge on this thread without ever entering a Pokemart, except for plot purposes, and never buys anything from any other NPC, will get a rep from me. That's okay, DK, right?
Dwarven King
Right...so I finally decided to start my game. Name - DK Rival - TY (haha) Type - Ghost So...I picked Squirtle as my starter. I named him Surf Slave. Decided I needed a surfing slave more than anything. Beat my rival. Walked around a bit. God this game is annoying without running shoes or a bike. Anywho...began training Surf Slave. First victim? Pidgey. It stood no chance. Then had to do the little bit with Oak, and got my pokedex and some poke balls. Again...slow walking is annoying. Went back to killing more Pidgeys and Rattatas. Which of course lead Surf Slave to learn....bubble. Passed through Viridian City and made my way up the path...to the forest...where I got lost. Mostly because a girl was texting me while I was playing...so I kept putting my DS down to text back. Once I picked my DS back up, I forgot where I was. :< After battling a bunch of bug pokemon...which are annoying...because they poisoned Surf Slave...I finally made it through the forest. Eventually, I wound up in Pewter City and went straight for the Gym. Naturally, I defeated Brock with ease and learned Water Gun. Current Team: Surf Slave - Level 14 Moves: Tackle Tail Whip Water Gun Withdraw Well, there's my update. xD And yes, this all just happened. Nicο
I only bought a RageCandyBar from that random guy, and I guess that counts, but I never thought about someone saying such a thing, and now I can't get that rep...
Chiri Tsukikawa
I entered the PokeMart to sell an Orange Mail from the Trick House. Which means I failed at that, too. Chiri Tsukikawa
It's a good idea to keep another Pokemon with you, just in case. That's obviously Kanto, so it would be a good idea to catch a lot of Pokemon.
Dwarven King
Eh. I'm trying to catch only what I need until I find Ghost pokemon. Also, I've been playing since the original Red version. I'm well aware of the limits of my pokemon.
Two-Hundred And One
Yes, I'm totally failing at my own challenge. Shut up. I did it for my old One-Poke Swampert run, way back in the day. I want to create a Silver Electrode Trophy for those that beat my insane request of a run, but... yeah. Perhaps a different challenge for the moment. No fainting during the Elite Four, then? 25 points reward. In other news, DS is back up, beat rival, made it to Mauville, crushed Wally. I cant use Bide, cause I die before I let it out, and any damage I do is healed by Absorb. I could try Mud Slap spamming and hope for Grovyle to miss all the time, but thats all I got. Train him until he is like, level 14. Then spam Ember. :
~Demyx~
I shall try both. If the Mud Slap strategy doesnt work, then I'm level grinding, just like you said DK.
Dwarven King
Level grinding works...unless you face my Rayquaza. Then you're screwed. How? I faced my cousin. She used her level 100 Deoxys. It was all badass and shiz, never losing a battle against her friends or anything. I threw out my level 88 Rayquaza, my badass pokemon that has never lost a battle...except one. And that was when it was a lower level and I was stupid. She used Flamethrower...and missed. I used Outrage...and killed in one hit. Her DS...flew across the room. :< My Rayquaza is now like...level 94. :
Chiri Tsukikawa
The Deoxys had 40 or less HP? My Rayquaza is level 100. So is my Lugia... and my Raikou... should I go on? (Those are my only level 100 legendaries)

Also, my second highest pokemon is my level 92 Charizard. Traded it over from my Leaf Green to my Platinum at level 80...or somewhere around there. Two-Hundred And One
I could go on a field day about level 100's... Including my event Jirachi. Whee! But my favorite... my first starter, in Firered... my first level 100 pokemon, my Charizard with the incredibly stupid nickname TheToaster. (I was nine, okay?) Also, Wattson beat, on the way to Fallarbor. Designing the ultimate challenge for my Red runthrough: -Poison only -No buying things from marts or NPC's -If I white out, start new file. -Only four visits to Pokecenters per town. -No Glitches. Ever. Whaddya think?

Two-Hundred And One
Actual Red, I don't have my Firered anymore. TheToaster is safe in my Black version, though. And yes, I don't care how tough it would be. It's still better than a Nuzlocke run. ...Ye gods. Mono-type Nuzlocke. That would just boil down to luck, though, wouldn't it? Someone needs to be crazy enough to try this. I nominate Ty.
Dwarven King
Nuzlocke? Is that a new pokemon? If so, I haven't played Black/White yet. :<
Two-Hundred And One
No, it's... the name is from a webcomic, but the run is like this: -Release a pokemon if it faints. -Only catch the first pokemon that you find in each area. Now then, you do that, only you can only use pokemon of a single type. It would be entirely random if you got a full team or nothing but an Electrode. Or something. Which is why I nominate Ty.
~Demyx~
Hmm, so what you're sayng is that to do a Nuzlocke with only one type? Deal, but you have to vote for me first After I find my FireRed or LeafGreen, of course. I would do Poison, cause there are a lot of Poison's in Kanto. Oh yeah, and for anyone reading this, vote for me in the YCM Member Brawl. It's Match #13. I'll be eternally in debt to anyone who does now.
