Tic. Tic. Tic.

Three minutes.

Tic. Tic.

Two minutes.

Tic.

One minute.

Dong!

The True Heart's eyes closed as he rose fluidly from his throne in Soul Castle. It was time. Slowly, he took the few steps down, watching as a small blotch of darkness bubbled at the bottom of the steps, darkness spewing from the small blotch till it became larger, as a young man came out of the dark blob, on his knees, with his head bowed. His presence was known instantly by the True Heart. The young man before him was the Young Heart, his right hand man. Mr. Marionette.

As Mr. Marionette rose, his striking figure became apparent. He wasn't very tall, only just reaching 5 feet tall, however, his dress was threatening. He wore a black top hat, with a white ribbon on it, the ribbon ending in a "x" tie, instead of the traditional bow. His hair was medium length and black, matching his black eyes, a devilish smile on his face, almost constantly. He wore a black pinstripe vest over a plain white dress shirt, with a singular black tie that had an "x" on it, strings falling down from the "x," with no puppet attached to it, however. A singular golden chain went from a pin on the tie to Mr Marionette's pocket inside of his vest. His pants were black dress pants, with finely polished black shoes. Overall, he looked like a common aristocrat. He wiggled his black gloved fingers a bit as he snapped his fingers, the pocket watch inside of his pocket flying out and popping open in front of the Young Heart, the man, his smile turning into a demonic smirk. "Right on time. I'll summon the other Hearts." he said, putting his watch away.

"Unnecessary." said the True Heart, walking past Mr. Marionette. He held out his arms as a geyser of darkness shot into the air in the middle of the throne room of the True Heart, as hands of darkness fired out from his back, flying into the geyser as it transported into all of the individual Hearts' rooms, pulling them into the room for the final hearing.

It was time for the war to commence.

The Bound heart sat in his room, pondering. He was at his old wooden desk with his aged, wrinkled and odd book to his right; and a worn down pencil with a pen next to it to the left. Then there was stacks upon stacks of paper on the outer right corner of his desk which were scribbled upon. And directly in front of him were more scribblings of his, notes of chapters and lines in his book, interpretations and chronological recordings of each entry. What Bound Heart was trying to accomplish was unknown to the rest of the Hearts. Bound heart then noticed a source of darkness which he inevitably stepped into only to be transported to True Heart and Young Heart.
"Time, to start? mmmm...." Bound heart said as he sniffed the air, "Yes, I smell it, it surrounds all of you, the thrilling smell... Of Chaos..."

"It saddens me," he said to himself, "To think that we had achieved peace, but someone found a wrong act in it." His head began to tilt down as his helmet made a clinck noise, "The Dark Order... Why do they ruin the peace we fight for? Because... They are the same as the Gods... Never wanting true peace, all they want is chaos while us monsters must live through it... Ra... Slifer... Obelisk... The Gods constantly at a bout, no... At least with them the chaos is subtle and actually helped establish peace... With the Dark Order, it is just... madness."

One of the dark shadows entered the edge of the chaos world, where it waited, not daring to enter any further in. As it waited, part of the swirling chaos formed into a black armoured man as he stepped out of the constantly moving energy that was the chaos world. Stepping into that shadow, the black armoured man, who was known as the Black Chaos Sorcerer, looked around as he emerged from the shadow and into the soul castle. "Is it time at last." he said, looking eager for the chaos to begin. He was, after all, the Chaos Heart, the dark master behind the monsters from the chaos world, the person often only known by the name Chaos Incarnate, or even just as Chaos, at times.

Anybody who was within sight of Supreme Arcanite Magician's house knew very well to stay well out of the way; the lovely albeit garish flowers that had once surrounded the large mansion in a ring of distasteful colours - and was also an extreme no-go zone for hayfever sufferers - no longer existed; half of them had been withered through magical means, and the other half had had the flower being blasted off, thus leaving behind beheaded stems that drooped through the lack of energy. Similarly, the cobbled path which lead to the rather overdone front gold doors had been made entirely out of Spell Counters of all wonderful colours; now, three-fourths of that path was gone, which certainly explained the disarray in which the mansion and minor Spellcasters alike found themselves in.

The reason for such a big mess was due entirely to the woman living inside; her massive, and heavily overblown tantrum was caused entirely through the prospect of being at war again. When the news had been delivered to her that morning, the house had begun to fall apart. The more disloyal servants had fled, leaving behind a good few hundred, who had, for the past three or four hours, tried their very best to calm their master down. Alas, nothing had worked, and with so many Spell Counters lying around the house, they had given her her greatest asset and their certain downfall - her Spell Counter magic.

Anybody who dared to venture into her bedroom had to be of enormous agility and quick wits, lest they should be blasted into a state of embarassing undress, and a heavily sooted face. They were also eager to suppress news of this spreading, but the general report had already spread to neighbours, who in turn had spread it to friends of theirs, who in turn went around all their other friends, etc. Fortunately, the minute details had been left out, although there were enough visuals to show just how bad this tantrum was.

"I AM NOT GOING TO WAR!" her screams could be heard through the no longer existent roof of her bedroom. Her screaming voice was amplified by her magic and her overall rage, thus making it even harder to keep a private matter. "I HAVE HAD ENOUGH WITH WAR! I DID NOT REACH THIS POSITION TO SPEND MY ENTIRE LIFE FIGHTING! NOW BACK OFF YOU BAS-"

A quiet day had passed in the Land of Blue Flames and many people were hoping that the messenger had just stayed outside the gates. Many feared for the day when they would receive a message from a courier in black garb, slowly walking down the streets as if he was leading a funeral procession. Children were confused while the adults looked as if they had been struck in the heart. "THERE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PEACE!" one of the men yelled as a hand was raised. It was Shien's adviser who looked at the messenger and extended his had to receive the parchment.

"I'll take it to Lord Shien from here." he said as he saw the black ribbon tied onto it, definitely a sign of misfortune, he had seen it before in the last great war and everytime he saw it he felt sadness in his heart. "It seems they will have to go then....how I rued this day would come." he looked at the messenger as he bowed and turned around, already on his way. The adviser walked back up the stairs of the castle as he was already met by six young samurai. "I see the Shogun already knew of what was going to happen"

their leader looked up at the adviser from his bow. "He has asked us to join with whoever will lead this "resistance" as such, we need the parchment sire" he said cordially. He stood up and extended his hand as the adviser gave him the scroll and bowed.

"Lord Shien....his prophecies truly did come to pass, how unfortunate, but you six, all of you shall bring peace to our land, I wish you all the best of luck." he stood out of their way as he put his hand on the shouldered armor of the warrior Kageki. "please be careful, especially you my son" they did not look towards each other as Kageki silently nodded and walked along with the others outside of the village gates.

Once the gates had been closed they had mounted each a black stallion and rushed through the woods. "Six Samurai! onwards to the nearest village! there we shall meet up with either allies, or enemies!" yelled their leader, Shi En.

It was at that sudden instant, right in the middle of Supreme Arcanite Magician's speech, that a dark shadow fell on her home. However, one look outside could tell you that it wasn't just her home. Miles, and miles, the shadow stretched, the whole thing at least as big as a large village. And what was causing it was the darkest, most evil creation most had ever seen.

Flying in the sky was a massive castle, resting upon a large pile of earth. It moved slowly, circling as it did so, as it seemed to fly on a set course, moving to one particular spot. However, that wasn't the most terrifying part of it. The whole Soul Castle was upside down. Not only that, but the massive crowd of Arms, Legs, and Heads outside of the castle didn't seem affected by gravity at all. It was as if the whole Castle was in a world of its own, while being in the world of the Duel Spirits.

Finally, it stopped, hovering over the dead center of every region of Duel Monsters, spinning slowly as the True Heart, Charade, opened his eyes. Slowly, he moved behind his throne, throwing the curtains back to reveal a massive balcony, embedded with black jewels that didn't reflect the sunlight. He walked out with Mr. Marionette at his right side, stepping out and looking above him, at what is the ground of the Duel Monster's realm. "Summon them." he said simply to Mr. Marionette. The Young Heart smiled as he raised his hands. Instantly, in the respective areas where the heads rested, the three heads of the Dragons of the Ice Barrier shot into the air, flying towards Soul Castle as a portal of pure darkness appeared in front of the balcony, the three bodies flying out. Black strings of darkness energy then shot out of Mr. Marionette's fingers, latching on to the bodies and heads of the Dragons, reattaching the parts. Each dragon then circled around in the air, gathering energy as they then shot out massive beams of ice, freezing the very ground. In seconds, the goal was accomplished. A massive, ice statue of True Heart, Charade himself. Mr. Marionette then clapped his hands, as splashes of dark energy hit the ice sculpture, color appearing, as the sculpture matched the exact colors of the True Heart, revealing for the first time in public, the mastermind of the Dark Order.

His age appeared about as young as Mr. Marionette, possibly younger. His hair was of medium length, but still thick, pitch black as it was all pushed behind the man's head. He wore a black zip-up jacket, the bottom of the jacket split up into four sections, each one waving independently in the air. The jacket had no sleeves, instead having chains attach the jacket to two small forearm bands, both black with gold trimming, matching the jacket. Other than that, he wore simplistic black pants, with black shoes. The only other parts of his attire were the gold trimmings along the neck, zipper, and bottom regions, and the massive gold egg on his back, the egg split in two, revealing the picture of a heart bound in chains, a single lock on it. When he finally spoke, his cold, heartless eyes almost twinkled with a speck of dark energy, the man now addressing the very region he had declared war on, the ice sculpture moving and speaking with the man, carrying his voice and message throughout all the lands of the Duel Monsters.

"People of this universe. We are the Dark Order, a group of 10 invincible warriors, accompanied by our army. I am the leader of the Dark Order, with the title of 'True Heart.' You may call me Charade. Note that this day forward, until every single one of you has been eradicated or you have admitted defeat, we, the Dark Order, declare war on every single other living being in this realm. As a further demonstration of our power, the Hearts of the Dark Order shall destroy the village closest to us, killing every person that lives there, with no exception. Afterwards, there shall be no minor tokens of simple power boasting. Be warned. After we show how much we mean business, we will make sure to crush every single beings' very existence, until we have no opposition. You have my word on that." said the leader. It was then that the ice sculpture disappeared, the Dragons absorbing all of the ice they had created.

"Come. Our moment to shine has arrived." said Charade to the Hearts, a black portal opening up in front of him.
