[color="#8B0000"]"It shall be done,"[/color] Revenova answered, [color="#8B0000"]"However, I wouldn't be surprised if Seto and I get involved in a duel if I were you. I highly doubt he'll hand over his own daughter that easily."[/color]

Revenova performed a hand signal, and a familiar looking portal opened up underneath him. Now there was little wonder why he always seemed to know where these portals were going: he was creating these portals himself.

Neither Kaiba nor Aivea managed to get far before a portal appeared overhead and right in front of them. Coming out of this portal, Revenova landed on his feet on a nearby footpath.

[color="#8B0000"]"Yes, it is I, Seto,"[/color] Revenova confirmed, [color="#8B0000"]"Revenova Decessus, a Dark Signer, and one of the few Guardians of Time. And I'm here to bring Aivea to my master so he can explain a few things to her."[/color]

[color="#FF8C00"]"Save it!"[/color] Kaiba exclaimed, [color="#FF8C00"]"I've already told her the Time Crackers are after her..."[/color]

[color="#8B0000"]"But neither of you know why, now, do you?"[/color] Revenova asked, Kaiba sinking his head down as he couldn't think of an answer, [color="#8B0000"]"Thought so. You see, Aivea is a Child of Time, and she's been chosen to..."[/color]

[color="#800080"]"I'm a what, now?"[/color] Aivea asked, blinking her eyes in confusion.

[color="#8B0000"]"You interrupt me!"[/color] Revenova scowled at Aivea, [color="#8B0000"]"Now, as I was saying, you are a Child of Time, and you've been chosen to protect the multiverse from the Time Crackers."[/color]

[color="#800080"]"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up a second!"[/color] Aivea exclaimed, [color="#800080"]"You're saying that the Time Crackers after me, as well as a whole host of random people who I presume are also Children of Time because otherwise the Time Crackers wouldn't be after them in the first place, because we're supposed to protect the multiverse from them?! Well in that case, we're not doing a good job, because they're supposed to be running away from us!"[/color]

[color="#8B0000"]"They've done enough of that in ages past,"[/color] Revenova lectured on, [color="#8B0000"]"The Time Crackers' true ambition is to change time so it suits their own purposes, and now all of a sudden they've learnt that we Guardians of Time weren't about to let that happen, not on our watch at the very least. They've gone from turning and running or fighting us on sight to actively seeking us out in an attempt to destroy us all. Why they've gone somewhat suicidal is beyond me, but nonetheless you still have to fight them, for they threaten to distort time itself. This is about all I know so far, but I will take you to my master where he will delve into details and perhaps answer any questions you might have. I'd prefer it if we travelled alone."[/color]

[color="#FF8C00"]"Oh no, you're not taking my daughter anywhere without me!"[/color] Kaiba protested.

[color="#8B0000"]"Thought you'd have something to say on that matter,"[/color] Revenova stated, [color="#8B0000"]"You always did have the desire to protect your daughter, but do you have the strength?"[/color]

"T- the temple? I suppose you would.... I suddenly get my sister back and straight to the temple. God, some of the guardians can really annoy me, not to mention Astro! He just gets on my nerves 24/7." Said Cassandra, her voice full of annoyance. "What do you say we duel then? It's been a while and I'm in no rush to let you go straight to the temple!"
She placed her deck into a pink and white duel pad and activated it, hoping her sister would accept the challenge.
"I use a fairy deck by the way, in case you've forgotten!"
Cassandra smiled pleasantly but was deep in thought.

'She's grown so much, and I haven't been there with her. What sort of sister am I?!'

Leon had just bought some doughnuts and was walking around town, he had been traveling around time pretty randomly for the past couple of days as he tried to figure out how to use the Emperor's Key and stay away from those guys who have been after especially since one of them accidentally told him what they were called which was apparently a big deal. At the moment he was just glad that his money seemed to change into whatever they were using at the time so he wouldn't have to worry about needed to get a job and collecting cash in each time he's in.

A tall blonde boy found himself standing not too far from Atsuko and Nightshroud. He was quite confused; only minutes ago he had been in his home back in the Exceed Era. Just as he began to look around, he felt a searing pain in his left arm. Quickly, he looked at the origin point of the pain and gasped as he witnessed a blue mark appear on it identical to his "Digihumans". He found himself to be speechless.
[i]What....what is this thing?![/i] He thought to himself. [i]Where am I?[/i]
With no apparent answer, Damian sighed and assumed he should find someone to ask about it. When he walked out onto the street, he noticed two strangers by the curb, and then his mark began to burn. Without thinking, he started walking towards them and then raised his voice at the shady-looking man.
"Hey! What are you doing to her?!" He said, not realising he had just done it. Something inside him made Damian believe that man was up to no good, and the mark appeared to have compelled him to intervene. The mark itself began glowing feintly.

Nightshroud was surprised, he was talking to a girl who had been crying and now a guy starts yelling at him to get lost, and of course there were the two that had come to pic a fight, [color=purple][b]Sorry but it looks like I should go, you appear to have some personal business but don't worry it looks like you have some help.[/b][/color] He had a strange feeling from the Time Crackers that had come on to the seen, none of them should be in this area besides Cat and how come he couldn't sense when they entered this time he would need to look into this and to do that he would need to return to the base so he made a simple excuse and went with it. With that Nightshroud walked away from the group and a few blocks later he disappeared int a crack.

Atsuko cried some more at the prospect that she was stranded in this universe, far separated from her home reality. She wondered if this mysterious gentleman would either go away or actually be kind, until a familiar voice, albeit younger, spoke up, and she looked up. [color=#FF2400]"Dad?"[/color] She saw a boy around her age drive off the weird guy, and she felt much better upon seeing this young man. She quickly got up and hugged him before he could respond. [color=#FF2400]"Oh, Dad, you came for me! I knew you and Mom would protect me! But where did Mom go, and why-"[/color] She suddenly put two and two together and stepped back, nervous and embarrassed. [color=#FF2400]"Umm...sorry about that. You just look and sound so much like my father. My name is Atsuko. What's yours?"[/color]

[color="#FF8C00"]"Not when I activate this, it won't!"[/color] Kaiba protested, [color="#FF8C00"]"De-Fusion, ACTIVATE!! Now Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon splits into three Blue-Eyes White Dragons!"[/color]

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's body glowed a deep red, and two of its three necks seemed to separate from the main body, and morph into similar shapes to what was left. Now on Kaiba's side of the field stood three Blue-Eyes White Dragons.

A black and blue insectoid creature stood in between Revenova and the three coveted dragons on Kaiba's side of the field. It had bug-like eyes, and on what appeared to be its helmet was a symbol that seemed to represent the Steelswarm logo.

Nightshroud had returned to his lab and was going over all the data he had on the time period that Viper was supposed to have come from, he could find him in documents but their were no photos of him that could prove he was actually their, all of his school photos only showed him and he didn't appear on any of the traffic cams either. It wasn't odd for a Time Cracker to lie about where their from but he had always seemed strange he was to smart to be a normally peon but he didn't seem ambitious enough to be plotting something behind the scenes. [color=purple][b]Looks like I might have to open that can of worms if I'm going to get to the bottom of this,[/b][/color] Nightshroud was worried that one of his theories on this world was about to come true, he began to change into his normal costume after righting a letter and using a special seal that would stop almost anyone besides the proper recipient from reading it. He sent Viper a message to return to base as he exited his lab resealing it.

Damian looked just as embarrassed as the Atsuko, however he was blushing a bright red.

He snapped back to his senses when Atsuko asked his name. He unconsciously corrected his glasses yet again as he spoke. "My name's Asako...Damian Asako." He looked around, still rather confused. "I...I'm sorry about just now...Was that man trying to do something to you? I don't know why I did that, I just...did..." he looked at his arm again. It was no longer glowing, and the pain was gone. Damian looked up at Atsuko, when a question suddenly rose back into his now clearing mind. "Oh, but...Where am I? I don't know how I even got here..."

She took her backpack off her shoulders and reached in to pull out her duel disk but hesitated, looking up at the one in Cassandra's hands that looked entirely different to hers. She shrugged and put hers on her arm anyway, noting how outdated it looked in comparison...It was outdated enough back in the past, let alone now. She took her deck out of the pouch on her belt and slotted it into the appropriate slot, letting the auto-shuffle do its work before turning to look up at her sister again.

[color="#FF8C00"]"WHAT??!![/color] Kaiba was flustered in rage as the Blue-Eyes White Dragons were destroyed somewhat effortlessly, [color="#FF8C00"]"Grrrr, you'll pay for that! I summon Saggi the Dark Clown in Defense Mode and end my turn!"[/color]

A strange white-skinned clown sat in front of Kaiba with its arms and legs crossed. One eye was closed, but the other was wide awake. A blue line and a yellow star were both on its face.

[color="#8B0000"]"'Tis not my fault you fell for an obvious lure, now is it?"[/color] Revenova asked mockingly, [color="#8B0000"]"No matter, I begin my second turn for the duel. Since I currently don't have a single monster on my side of the field, I'm able to Special Summon Steelswarm Cell from my hand, which I place in Attack Position."[/color]

A black ladybug-like monster hit the field. Like Steelswarm Genesoid before it, it had 0 Defense Position, but this was also accompanied by a measly 0 Attack Points. Surely this wouldn't stand up to Saggi the Dark Clown, as much of a weak wall as it was. But that's not why Revenova summoned it.

[color="#8B0000"]"Now, Steelswarm Genesoid counts as two Tributes for a Steelswarm monster,"[/color] Revenova explained, [color="#8B0000"]"But the monster I'm about to summon requires three, so I have to sacrifice Steelswarm Cell in addition. Arise, Steelswarm Hercules."[/color]

[color="#FF8C00"]'Wait for IT!!'[/color] Kaiba's eyes widened as Steelswarm Hercules was summoned to Revenova's side of the field. This behemoth had slightly higher Attack Points than Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragons, along with a powerful effect. But Kaiba had to remain focused. There was no way he'd allow such a thing to stay on the field.

She wanted to make a good impression on her little sister, just so she wasn't thought as a loser by her own sister.

Cassandra motioned to Aiya to make her first move, from which she could take over and hopefully begin her Tempus Summon.

She placed her card on the duel disk, the moster zone lighting up in response and projecting a hologram of a girl with long, messy violet hair, a white jacket and skirt over a purple top which segmented into tassles below her belt and white and purple gloves and boots carrying a short and very simple looking spell staff with a violet orb embedded in each end.

Unknown location: Captian's Log: Ok what the hell? Me and Butai were gonna get a Child of Time no problem, and then I have to go back to base out of nowhere! After sending Buati back i got Blue Thunder to drop me off nearby the base. Wouldn't want them spotting it after all. I notice the place is pretty much empty but theres a letter, kind of odd really.

Panting, Kaiba looked over his opponent's side of the field. The fact that he managed to destroy such a powerful monster was a feat in itself, but taking down more than half of Revenova's Life Points with it only amplified the magnificence of what he achieved. However, Revenova had a slight field advantage in two face-downs, while Kaiba didn't have a thing on the field. But that was about to change, as Kaiba drew Monster Reborn, and knew exactly who to revive with it.

[color="#FF8C00"]'Looks like this 'heart of the cards' thing that Yugi keeps telling me about really does exist'[/color] Kaiba thought to himself, before announcing his next move, [color="#FF8C00"]"I return a monster from the Graveyard to the field, with this... Monster Reborn! Since your Steelswarm Hercules can't be Special Summoned by any means, I've chosen the next best thing. Prepare yourself, I summon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!"[/color]

This monster was just what Kaiba would've needed to extinguish Revenova's Life Points once and for all, assuming his face-down cards couldn't help lessen the damage. However, with this few Life Points, Revenova would be foolish to be ill-prepared.

[color="#FF8C00"]"Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, wipe out the rest of his Life Points with Neutron Blast!"[/color] All three heads charged up for what appeared to a final assault, but it just wasn't to be.

[color="#8B0000"]"I activate a second Infestation Ripples, paying 500 Life Points to resurrect Steelswarm Genesoid once again."[/color] Revenova announced, [color="#8B0000"]"I also activate Means of Infestation, sending Steelswarm Scout to the graveyard to increase Steelswarm Genesoid's Attack Power by 800 Points."[/color]

Nonetheless, the monster was still nowhere near strong enough to stand up to the mighty Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. At least now though, the damage that Revenova would suffer was not enough to take him out of the game.

I draw, and immediately activate Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards. Steelswarm Girastag is destroyed by your Crush Card Virus, but I still have this card: Recurring Nightmare. Since none of the monsters currently in my Graveyard have more than 0 Defense Points, and all of them are of the DARK element, I have free reign on which two cards I add to my hand. I choose Steelswarm Hercules and Steelswarm Girastag. Now, I no longer have any Spell or Trap Cards, and this allows my to Special Summon Steelswarm Scout from the Graveyard.[/color]

A small fly-like being was summoned. Its large bug-like eyes examined the gargantuan-in-comparison Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, as it hovered above the ground with its small fly-like wings.

[color="#8B0000"]"I then sacrifice Steelswarm Scout to summon Steelswarm Girastag in Attack Position with its effect,"[/color] Steelswarm Scout vanished instantly, and in its place stood a much larger humanoid being with a small cannon on its right hand.

[color="#FF8C00"]"But that leaves me wide open for a direct attack!"[/color] Kaiba proclaimed.

Steelswarm Girastag charged up its cannon, before firing a dark shot of energy at Kaiba. Kaiba managed to block the shot with his Duel Disk, but since this was the first time he even dueled in a long time, let alone take any damage, the cerebral shock that Kaiba received seemed to have a powerful effect on him.

Nightshroud walked up to Vic, [color=purple][b]DO you mind telling me why you were in a time zone I strictly forbade anyone from entering without my permission, not only that but you tried to pic a fight with a guardian that wasn't on the list, let alone it seems you have an accomplish in this and don't tell me he was someone you just happened to pic up in that time, otherwise you would have brought him here with you.[/b][/color] Nightshroud didn't have any evidence that Vic was plotting against him but he also knew that if he brought up enough questions Vic would get nervous and probably mess up, ever since coming here mind games had been the best weapon at his disposal.

Nightshroud just smirk, 'got him' [color=purple][b]So long as they are not a Time Guardian and not a part of the Time Guardians then they are not fair game, we are trying to win a war and helping the enemy in recruiting won't do, what would you have done if it had been Cat's daughter you went against, I know you haven't met her but I'm sure you must of heard about the time she actually stuck a ten inch heal up someone ass for pissing her off. i have something else I need you to look into, something far more important recently someone tried to get a hold of my [u][i]The Lord of Time, Cronus[/i][/u] it seemed like he valued it more as a symbol then as a card and before I could interrogate him he somehow took his own life so I want you to look into the matter, it is possible that some little group has popped up trying to make a play for power. I want you to look into this, and whoever was with you before, on that note I've never met him before who was he he could be a spy so be careful. If you have any more information on your experience with the two you met at that time?[/b][/color] Nightshroud noticed that Vic was way to relaxed in this situation, most people would be cowering in the pressure he was exerting and this guy didn't notice, his skill set was way to high not to have plans of his own.

Steelswarm Girastag fired another shot of dark energy. This time, a metallic sphere revealed itself to be the target, and exploded once the shot connected. The explosion was just starting to engulf Steelswarm Girastag.

The four monsters were summoned to the field, in no particular, the last remaining card being added to Kaiba's hand. Each one was indeed powerful, but Revenova didn't seem too concerned.

In addition, since Steelswarm Caller was sacrificed for the Tribute Summon of a Steelswarm monster, I can special summon a second Steelswarm monster from my deck, and I choose Steelswarm Gatekeeper."[/color]

This, understandably, had Kaiba worried. Revenova had everything he needed to return Steelswarm Hercules to the field, and if Kaiba had nothing to get rid of it with, it could very well mean game over for him

"Alrighty then! I draw!" Cassandra swiped a card from the top of her deck, over exaggerating herself to make it like Yusei or Yugi in their big moments. She glanced at the card and smiled. "I shall begin with a summon, that of my [b]Fairy of the Watch[/b]. This summon is a Special Summon, since you control a monster and I do not!"
A petite fairy holding a small watch between her hands appeared on the field, the faint sound of ticking emmiting from the card. It did a few little twirls in midair and finally a beam shot out from the center of the watch. The fairy flew into it laughing. As it did this, Cassandra began a summoning chant.
[color="#FF0000"][center]"When time concentrates together it creates a monster of vast power. Begin the Time Channel, Fairy of the Watch, concentrate the power and create a TEMPUS MONSTER!" [/center][/color]
Cassandra smiled, awaiting her sisters response.
"I shall now Normal Summon Fairy of Majesty and End my turn with 2 face downs. Over to you little sister!"

Aiya was a little taken aback by Cassandra's move, particularly when her first monster vanished and, although Cassandra recited a summoning speech, nothing appeared.

[i]Is this some kind of new monster?[/i] Aiya thought [i]Why didn't anything appear on the field though?[/i]

[b]"Well...M-my turn I guess,"[/b] She said, drawing a card from her deck.

She took a look at her new card then up at her sister's field.

[i]Both our monsters have equal ATK,[/i] she thought [i]Well...At least that's a problem I can solve easily.[/i]

[b]"I activate Magical Blast,"[/b] Aiya said, slotting the spell card into a slot beneath her monster, allowing a larger hologram copy to appear in front of her and glow brightly [b]"Which inflicts 200 points of damage to you for each Spellcaster monster I control."[/b]

Gale raised her staff, a bright blue glow surrounding it before firing the spell at Cassandra.

[i]That puts her just higher than her Fairy of Majesty,[/i] she thought.

Gale twirled her staff about in one hand till it was held backwards, a bright glow surrounding it as she rushed towards Cassandra's monster, swinging the weapon around and sending a wave of purple light towards it.

Louise left her house, locking it under the assumption that her mother would leave the way she came - and if not it'd prevent anyone walking in whilst she was upstairs and unable to hear. She looked at the group stood outside in the front garden. "Well then, Tempo or whatever your name was," she said, giving Tempus a once-over she'd been too distracted to do before this point, "I've decided I'll go to the future with you. Well, you're not going to stop stalking me until I go with you anyway, are you, so I may as well just get this over with." She looked back at her home one last time, and then turned back to the guardian. "Well then, where's your time machine then, future-boy?"

Tempus muttered to himself quietly, but eventually pulled out a blank Tempus Monster Card from his pocket.
"There, your Time Machine, as you say. Yes its blank. Just concentrate on the card and let it guide you to where we need to go. Hopefully, it will take us to another child of time."
He handed it to Louise, praying that she wouldn't start going on about how stupid he was believing that would work etcetra. He just hoped she would do this without question.
Tempus himself pulled his own Tempus monster out; Time Phoenixia. It began glowing warmly on his hands.
"You ready then?" He asked.

Modern Day.
A loud "tic" sound could be heard during Aiya's Standby Phase. Cassandra smiled to herself. Turn Count 1, just 6 more to go for her to summon her ace monster.
Then, she took the 200 damage that her sister inflicted calmly, not activating any traps in responce. Then came the attack, and Cassandra laughed out loud.
"Whenever your monster gains ATK, mine gains the same amount! Which means that both our monsters are destroyed instantly!"
The Fairy of Majesty jumped forward, staff raised. As the two monsters attacked, they destroyed each other simutaniously. Cassandra then pressed a button on her D-Pad.
"Trap Card, TicToc! When a Level 4 monster I control is destroyed, I can increase Fairy of the Watch's turn count by 2, which gives it a total of 3! Anything else Aiya?"

Before she realized it, Aiya's monster had already been destroyed, leaving her field empty.

[i]Oh man, I screwed up already,[/i] she thought [i]I knew she'd have cards I never heard of.[/i]

She shook herself mentally, trying to force herself to concentrate and avoid another slip up. She tried to calm down as she sorted through the rest of her cards and chose another one.

[b]"I'll place one monster in defense mode,"[/b] she placed a monster face down and sideways on her duel disk, a larger version appearing in front of her [b]"And set one card face down."[/b]

She took a moment to take a deep breath to try and calm her nerves, having done all she could for this turn.
