Saying it's weird is almost like saying homosexuality is weird. Makes no difference either way.

Yes, and homosexuality is weird for most people that aren't homosexual themselves. There is a huge difference between finding something weird and not being tolerant of something.

Do I find homosexuality and incest weird? Hell yeah, I do. Do I give a rat's ass if people live their life like that? No.

Someone brought this up in a thread before, and I'll cite the same example. Do you find 2 Girls, 1 Cup weird? If you say yes, does that mean you are discriminating against all people like that and it can be compared to being against homosexuality? No.

Do I view a brother/sister relationship as weird?

The pervert in me says no
And the normal side of me also agrees, no

If it makes you happy then I believe you have every right to continue with what you are doing.
That of course excludes anything that causes physical harm to yourself or others- ie killing people or cutting yourself
well okay I might allow that on certain conditions but lets save that for later

If I see two gay men walking down the street do I find it weird? The cloths they're wearing probably, believe me I've seen some weird ones, but them being gay . . . not a bit.
Although I am comfertable being around people with homosexual tendancies, even going so far as to joke around with them and mess with others about it . . . if they become serious in any way I loose my easiness.

The point is, if it makes them happy . . . what right do you have to say it's not the correct way to be happy?

Well you love a family member unconditionally. You do anything for them because they are blood.
You love a person for who they are, for how they act and what they say.

I'm sure falling in love with a sibling would just mean you not only love them as a family member, but as who they are as a person.
Though the fact about unrequeted love is possibly going to be an awkward point. However family prevails and, even if the love is not shared in that certain way, they will still be family and love each other as such . . . as family. Unconditionally, weither they like each other or not.

Okay, I actually really dislike incest.

Because of this.

It's really not fair, and I know it's ridiculous to dislike it because of that, but seriously.

I'll alert my brother and cousins right away. <_< Sad thing is that my cousins would love incest with my brother.

@ Marisa: It's ironic because homosexual marriage has no adverse effects, and it has been proven that a child does not develop any differently if adopted by homosexual parents, yet it is scientifically proven that incest results in a high rate of mental retardation.

I compare the debate about homosexual marriage and incestual marriage to the debate about marijuana. We've legalized tobacco, more harmful than marijuana, and have subdued marijuana because of some conservative morons that choose to refuse facts and make up their own bullshit logic. States like Texas, full of these conservative morons, make it quite obvious that they are fueled by a lack of logic, legalizing incestual marriage but not homosexual marriage. At least states like Louisiana and Pennsylvania haven't legalized either, and states like Massachusetts have legalized both.

And before ADHD-Guitar wants to reply, conservative =/= Republican. Yes, most Republicans are very conservative, but I am addressing the entire conservative population as a whole, even those that don't take a party affiliation.
