Ranma124
As Track was about to leave the room, with the card Merlins Tome which Merlin himself wanted, a knight came out of Terrys deck. According to Merlin the knights name was Lancelot. Track wasnt too sure if Merlin had gotten his name right, seeing that Merlin could never get anyones name right. Track looked at Merlin then at the knight. Then Merlin turned around to face Track, and suddenly turned around and knocked out the knight. Leaving him on the floor knocked out. Track walked out with Merlin and Mechansim Warrior. " Okay then this time no disturbencess." Track got ready to start following Merlin to where they were going next. Kyng's Old Account
'Alright alright alright...where is it.' Merlin looked through his tome. 'I know its in here somewhere...AHA! Here it is. The Hoursmen of Armageddon. Get ready for a story boys!' He said to Mechanism Warrior and Track... sonicblade95
"Thank you." Albel follows Clara, examining the halls with curiosity. "So, I guess that the man who owns the place must have had a remarkable family. I mean, this has got to be the fanciest place I've ever seen. Only one thing confuses me. Why would your employer invite some simple programmer like me whose only ever participated in street duels or simple challenges, not no big fancy tournaments? I mean, I heard some of the guests are some of the world's top pro duelists. And while I'm thrilled to be going up against some of the most powerful duelists ever, I just don't understand why I was chosen over others who might be better than me. Ya know?" Blake Mas
Dex had managed to arrive late yet again. His invitation had asked him to arrive several hours ago, but he'd had a long way to travel to reach the manor and he was exhausted. He'd had to walk the last few miles to the manor after his bike broke down, abandoning it to the side of a road. Having only just made it to the manor, Dex was amazed at the sheer scale and grandeur of the host's mansion. He thought to himself "God there better be a shower and a comfy bed waiting for me when I get in". He came close to the main entrance, knocking on the door loudly, shouting "Hello, anyone inside?". He didn't want to hang around for long after all the time and money he spent getting to this tournament, and so he waited for a reply.
Ranma124
Track was leaning against the wall next to Terrys bedroo, whilst listening to the story from Merlins book which he was reading from now. Track then got up from resting on the wall, and looked at Merlin and Mechanism Warrior. " So your trying to tell Reginald is for some reason trying to find the place where he can get those cards of armageddon." Track then realised something. " Maybe thats why he wants peoples energy, maybe thats the way to unlock these cards. What are we going to do." Mechansim Warrior listened to Merlins story. " Thats one heck of a story." Mecahsnim Warrior stared at Merlin. Track then looked at Merlin. " Wait, a sec. How are we gonna do anything. I mean a kid, and two spirits. If you ask me we need Terrys help. We have to wake him up, or do something." Track waited for Merlin to do something.
Kyng's Old Account
'You've got a point.' Merlin replied. He floated back into Tery's room and took out his staff. 'Ready?' He belted Terry on the nose. 'AAAHHH!!! MERLIN!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!?!' 'Hehehe, sorry Turkey! But we needed to wake you up.' Terry looked at the floor, seeing the knocked out spirit of Lancelot. '...' 'Well, he wouldn't let me passed! What was I supposed to do?' 'Ok, you got me awake. What is it?' 'Well, Turkey, we hav a major crisis on our hands. You ever heard of the cards of Armageddon, because ifnot, I have a neat...' 'Hey, aren't those the cards Reginald was talking about, saying they don't exist?' 'Who's Reginald?' Merlin asked. 'The guy who put me in this state, that's who. But what about the cards?' Merlin looked uneasily at Track and Mechanism Warrior, then back at Terry. But before he could say anything Terry spoke 'Oh. Isn't that Mechanism Warrior?' 'Well, as a response to your first question, my master was an only child and his mother died shortlyafter childbirth. His father, alo an only child, was the only one to raise him. He modelled himself after Lord Lucius and he even had his father buried here. He was a rather lonely child.' Clara said to Albel. 'You second question...well truly I do not know. But there must be something about you that he is attracted to.' Reginald appeared out of nowhere. 'Hello there. You must be Dex, are you not? I have heard a lot about you? Please, allow me to escort you to your room. You can freshen yourself and come down to the duels below.'
Ranma124
Merlin had managed to wake up Terry, from his sleep. Terry and Merlin had began to have a conversation about the cards of armageddon, however Terry had sked about Mechanism Warrior. Mechanism nodded his head. " Yes i am Mechanism Warrior, one of the spirits of Tracks deck. But you may just call me Mecha Warrior for short. You must be Terry." Track waited for Mechanism Warrior to finish introducing himself. " Great now that you two know each other weve got a major problem on our hands here. Those cards of armageddon things might actually turn out to be true." Track looked round the room looking at everyone. " Hey Merlin go on and tell him, the story." Track waited for Merlin to tell Terry what they had found out and what they were going to do.
Blake Mas
Dex didn't like Reginald the moment he saw him, but he guessed he should be grateful. After all, hosting this tournament and inviting Dex had given Dex the opportunity to interact with the big-time duelists and make a name for himself. He would have to be at his best in order to stay though. As Dex was shown to his room, he started to wonder why this Reginald was even hosting this tournament. There weren't large crowds and he seemed to have all the money he needed so it couldn't have been for profit. Dex had never even heard of Reginald or this place before he'd received his invitation. But all his suspicious instincts faded away as soon as he reached his room. It was immense. After thanking Reginald quickly, he took a shower, quietly thinking to himself that he would win this tournament. After showering and preparing, Dex headed downstairs, doing as Reginald had recommended and looking for the duels, although he had no idea where they were being held. Blake Mas
Dex eventually stumbled upon what he assumed was one of the friendly duels. It appeared that 2 female duelists were battling it out with a small number of people watching. Dex decided to sit down and observe the duelists, looking through his deck as he did so to make sure that he could eliminate any weakness the other duelists might find, as weakness was not an option in this tournament. Ranma124
Track had waited for Merlin to tell Terry the whole story, which he had already told Track and Mechanism Warrior. Seeing that Track had already heard the story once he decided not to listen to carefully as it was the ame thing as before. After Merlin had finished Track started to talk. " Im with Terry we should wait. Hey if you wanna go and duel im here to support you." Then Terry sent out his knights apprentice card to watch over them. " Hey there nice to meet you, Minea thats your name right. Hey Terry you do realise you dont need to have anyone watch over me, i can handle myself, so can Mechanism Warrior. Although thats the least i can say about Merlin here."
Immortal Chaos
Jace had propped himself against the open door of Terry's room, looking between Track and Terry. Not being one to actually see duel spirits, but knew of them, Jace could only see the two physical beings in the room. He cleared his throat a bit as he made himself known, pushing off the door frame a bit as he more or less invited himself into the room. "You two make way too much noise for this late at night you know that?" He smirked, a kind of, well, interesting smirk to say the least. At his side, the blue cat swayed it's tail patiently, though Jace payed no mind to the spirit walking beside him. "So tell me Terry, how do you plan to take on Reginald? This one I just HAVE to hear about. Seeing as he's the one who pretty much knocked you out in less than 5 turns."
Kyng's Old Account
'That was a fluke, Jace! I would have won if I had gotten rid of his stupid Dragon!' Terry told Jace. He then felt his face, where Dracula supposedly slashed. 'But that attack, from Dracula, was actually painful, the Drain Platforms not withstanding.' He then looked back at Reginald. 'How will I beat him? Well, all I need to know is how he thinks. When I do that, it is only a matter of time before he'll break down. Why? What do you want with him?' Reginald's bat watched the duel carefully. 'Excellent...now then my prettys, how about you feed on your victims...abosorb!' The plants bgan spiking teir thorny vines and draining Mia and Miqea's energy. Reginald walked back up to his study and closed the door behind him. A new energy jar was ready and the yellowish golden fluid began to drip into it. He closed the cupboard and locked it. Then, he summoned another bat. 'Be my eye!' The bat's eye's were flashed by Reginald's and it flew down the corridors. It nestled nearby Terry's room so the bats super hearing could hear it perfectly without being detected. He then received a phonecall. 'Lord Shroudvenstein! Come quick! We've uncovered the door!' Terry looked deeply into Jace's eyes. 'You want to duel him, don't you?'
Immortal Chaos
Jace chuckled and nodded. "Doesn't everyone Terry? Wouldn't it be everyones dream here, to duel the host?" His eyes never left Terry's face. "Not to mention, he more or less challenged me earlier for breaking into his study." He chuckled again as the blue cat sat by his feet, swaying its tail still and looking between Terry, Track, Merlin, and every other Duel spirit in the room that Jace couldn't see. "You want to duel him again don't you Terry? Restore the honor and erase that humiliation you suffered at the hands of his cards?"
Blake Mas
Satisfied with finally arriving and completely shattered, Dex shambled away from the duel, towards his room. As he approached the area where all the guest rooms were located, he heard what sounded like some other competitors talking about something. Standing a few steps outside the room with the voices, Dex heard someone say "So tell me Terry, how do you plan to take on Reginald?" Listening in to the conversation, Dex could hear them talk about a previous duel between the host and a duelist. "It seems like this tournament's heating up before it's even started, and with the host involved as well." As the conversation continued, it became clear that the other voice was Jace, an established pro duelist Dex had heard about through his ruthlessness. "Whatever's going on here, it seems these guys don't like the host very much" Dex continued to listen to the conversation.
Ranma124
Track was listening to the conversation going on between the two pro duelists, Terry and Jace. They were both saying how they would want to duel the host, Reginald. Then Jace had said that pretty much everyone here would want the chance to duel Reginald. Track looked at Terry then at Jace. " Well i guess your right, pretty much everyones gonna want to duel the host of the tournament. And even if they didnt want to at first they probably do now, seeing that he was able to beat Terry here. No offence Terry." Track looked at Terry and Jace, allwoing them to carry on their conversation.
Admiral_Stalfos19
Feeling a surge of pain as her energy was being drained away from the plants, Miqea flew into a state of panic "WWWAAAAAHH, THIS ISN'T WORKING!!" she shouted, "Don't tell me this whole idea was the stupidest thing I could ever come up... um... er... I... I sur... I surr... I END MY TURN!!" Miqea started crying tears of fear, as she couldn't bring herself to surrender the duel for fear of what would happening if she were to do so. Telling herself that this is only a bad dream didn't seem to ease the situation at the slightest.
Time Psyduck
Hearing the voice of the girl suffering from those plants made Sam wince. Part of her would have liked to go over their and cut the vines off the poor girl, but she quickly shot the idea down, since not only was it potentially dangerous, she was unequipped to do so, she wasn't dressed to fight plants, and her interruption might not be appreciated. Just what is going on, she thought to herself, this place is too quiet for what's apparently a big tournament. It's literally the entrants and the host. It's almost as if we were brought here for some sinister purpose. She shook her head, that's silly, it can't be right. But Sam didn't really believe that. It was far too late to back out - she'd just have to keep an eye on things throughout the tournament.
Kyng's Old Account
Reginald said into his phone 'I'm on my way.' He hung up and his eyes flashed. The Plants roared and then they released their victims, witering and wilting almost instantley. 'This must be important.' He took a jar filled with the energy he had drained and took it to his car. His dirver drove off... 'Listen, Jace, my pride is in tact. What's hurt is my body. That's why I want revenge!' He heard a car engine rev and stalling 'Hmm? Guys! Look outside...'... 'Get the car started immediatley!' Reginald ordered his driver. 'If you don't get it started and I can't get to the lake on time, I'll be caught out!' Jace, we're going now! The sooner we can stop Lord Shroudvenstein, the better!' He then said 'Spirits, come back to me!', and all of his card spirits returned to him. 'Track, I'm heading off now. Blake Mas
Dex stepped into the room, out of pure curiosity to hear what was happening. "Did you say you needed duelists" Dex asked the members of the room. If you tell me whats going on, I might be one of those that can help you." Dex stared at Terry and Jace, as well as the unknown member of the room. "Oh, introductions of course. The name's Dex, now would you kindly tell me whats going on?" Dex may have only arrived a couple of hours ago, but he was damn sure he was gonna find out what was going on here soon enough.
Kyng's Old Account
'Look, Dex. As I have told Track, go around and rally up the remaining duelists and get them to the lake. If you want to help, all you need to do is that. Track, you included. And when you to are doing what your doing, you can fill him in. That is a order. Jace, come on. I'm going.' Terry began to run towards the stairs which would lead him to the main corridor, which included the entrance. He left the building and ran, out the gates. 'Reginald! What have you done!?!' Reginald's car had dropped him of at the lake once again, which was the site where the Earthly Tomb of Armageddon resided. 'He saw the enormous ditch that Dr Maximus' workforce dug out, which also revealed this gate. 'So...after all this time...it is true...' He walked up to Dr Maximus 'My Lord, we've found it! But we didn't open it up! Immortal Chaos
Jace nodded as he moved out of the room after Terry and down the hallways. Coming out of the house he caught up to Terry at the gates. "Standing there wont do any good. Those gates are closing quickly, and from what I read they become giant energy absorbers. This whole place is full of energy taking equipment." And with that he pushed Terry through the gates as they began to shut faster, slipping through in a last moment before looking to where the car had sped off. "Well genius, how do you propose we follow a damn car?"
