Assembling the Cards of Armageddon [LOCK]

Track listened to Terry as he said that they werent sleeping in the same room. Track turned away from Terry then turned to look back at him. " Hey you wish you were that lucky to sleep in the same room as me. Plus anyway if you havent noticed already id prefer to sleep in the same room as a girl." Track made his way to the door. " Well rest up for the tournament." Track walked out the room and into his. He changed into his regular red cloths. He wasnt tired yet so he decided to go and get some fresh air. So he went outside to see two girls dueling. He went over to watch. " Good luck to the both of you." Track decided to stay and watch the duel.

[color="#800080"]"Alright, let's see here..."[/color] Miqea looked at her hand, not really making out much of her cards... probably because she couldn't really see them that well, since she forget to put on her monocle. As she did though, things started to get much clearer.

[color="#800080"]"Actually, I think I have a good move here,"[/color] Miqea announced, [color="#800080"]"I activate Cost Down, discarding my Skull-Mark Ladybug to reduce my Satellite Cannon's level from 5 to 3, allowing me to summon it in Attack Mode right now! Also, since Skull-Mark Ladybug's been ditched to the Graveyard, I get to patch up my Life Points a bit."[/color]

A giant satellite hovered above the duel field all the way up in space, locking onto one of Mia's Doomsday Tokens. It didn't actually seem to be doing anything just yet though.

[color="#800080"]"I'll also activate Machine Duplication, while Satellite Cannon's in range so far with its big whopping 0 ATK!"[/color] Miqea declared, [color="#800080"]"With this, I get to Special Summon two more of them, and last but not least, I activate Charge, giving all 3 of them 2000 Attack Points!"[/color]

Two more Satellite Cannons joined unison with the first one. All three of them began glowing a deep turquoise as they began to charge themselves for a full air-strike

Sam wandered outside, figuring some fresh air would be nice. In retrospect, she could have done with getting changed back into her regular clothes whilst she was up at the rooms, but she'd figured it would be better to stay 'Samantha' for tonight and decided to stick with it. Once she got outside she found Mia dueling another girl, who she'd seen briefly when she arrived for dinner in casual clothing, apparently very hungry, but hadn't spoken to. Mia's field was rather defensive - two defending monsters and two face-downs guarding her - whilst the other girl had set up three satellite cannons, all of which were charged and preparing to fire. Given Mia's attitude to Terry's overextension, Sam couldn't help but think she'd like to see the unknown girl get through Mia's defences.

Track had gotten out here before her, and was watching the duel. She headed over to him. "Hello again, Track," she said quietly as she drew alongside, "has this duel been going on long?"

Track noticed Samantha walking outsiide, he watched her as she walked back all the way to where he was standing. He looked up at her and then back at the duel. He looked back up at her and began to speak. " Oh hey there Sam. Hows it going." Then Sam asked Track how long the duel had been going on for. " Well actually its really just started. Mia taken her first turn, and now its that other girls, whoever she is." Track then went back to watching the duel. He saw that the girl with the monocle was lauching an attack.

Suddenly Track's deck glowed. Merlin appeared again, this time he only appeared to who could normally see and hear him, in this case it was Track. [color="#000080"]'Hello Shorty! When I heard that Turkey needed to rest...well that sounded boring. I decided to go with you for a tad! I know you wont mind, you little sperlunker!'[/color] He then noticed he was talking to Sam. [color="#000080"]'Isn't that the girl who gave me the jewel?'[/color] He then looked closely at her. [color="#000080"]'Why are you...oohh! Hehehe! You trying to get lucky? You little rascal! Want some advice? Steal a kiss! Go on! You owe me that much, since I did give you the power to see us Spirits, right?'[/color]

Jace had made his way outside to the Greenhouse, standing a few feet away from Track and Sam, leaning against a nearby statue. His eyes looked to the duel between Mia and Miqea as his arms folded across his chest. Again he was observing, not just the duels, but his research was interrupted before he could see exactly what traps lay in store in this arena. He shifted a bit as his legs crossed in front of his and more of his weight was put on the sturdy statue as his eyes took in everything around them. Miqea's field seemed to have the advantage, and Mia's...well, Mia's face down was not to be taken lightly. Any one with skill to be invited to a tournament, would likely have powerful traps to aid their defenses, which seemed to be what Mia had made her first move to be.

All of a sudden Tracks deck started to glow and then Merlin popped out of it. Track was shocked and surprised that Merlin was inside of Tracks deck. Track looked at Merlin, and listened to what he had to say. When Merlin told Track to sneak a kiss off Samantha Track looked at him, and whipered so that it wouldnt seem like he was crazy. " Listen you stupid old man, i dont need your advice. Why would i take the advice from someone who hasnt had a date or probably even talked to a girl in over like 200 years. Plus anyway were just talking and watching the duel." Tracks started to glow again, this time a warrior monster with a sword on his back popped out. " Wait a second your my Mechansim Warrior, arnt you." The warrior looked at Track and Merlin. [color="#FF0000"]" Yes thats right Track, i am Mechanism Warrior. But you can just call me Mecha warrior for short."[/color] Then he specifically placed his eyes on Merlin. [color="#FF0000"]" Who are you. Ive never seen you here before."[/color]

[color="#000080"]'Well...that's because I'm not from your Deck! The name is Merlin! I'm the one who gave Shorty here the power to see you! Unfortunately he hasn't taken a shining to me. Anyway's I'm bored. Shorty, can you move closer the duel! I can hardly see from up here! Well to be honest I can hardly see.'[/color] Merlin spoke in a friendly tone.

[color="#8B0000"][font="Times New Roman"]'Hmm...'[/font][/color] Reginald looked into a security camera that showed the duel between Mia and Miqea. [font="Times New Roman"][color="#8B0000"]'Now now. I can't allow this valueable resource to go to waste, cam I?'[/color][/font] His eyes flashed and an evil smirk grew on his face.

In the Greenhouse, Merlin sensed something. [color="#000080"]'Mecha! Did you feel that? Something has happened!'[/color] Suddenly four thorns grew from the bushes near Mia and Miqea, capturing their legs. [color="#000080"]'Shorty, look! Their legs are being snared by vines!'[/color]

Mechanism warrior looked at Track. " [color="#FF0000"]Why does he call you shorty. And is it true that this strange old man gave you the ability to see monster spirits[/color]." Track looked at Mechanism Warrior. " Hes a bit coocoo, and yeah its true, but he did poke me in the eye whilst doing it." Mechanism warrior suddenly sensed something sinster, he knew something was wrong, then Merlin said that he had sensed it aswell. He looked over at Merlin. "[color="#FF0000"] Yes i did feel it. Somethings not right here.[/color]" Then vines came out of the bushes and attatched themeselves to Mia and Miqeas legs. " Oh man yeah i see what you guys are talking about. This arena must have energy draining vines instead of plateforms."

Jace's brow shifted again as his eyes narrowed, watching the vines slip out and wrap around the girl's feet. He chuckled a bit. "So that's what's here...." He pushed off the statue and turned to go back into the house. "Only one more place to investigate...now where was that?" His eyes looked back to where Track and Sam stood. "No doubt i'll hear everything that goes on during this practice duel from those two, whether or not I ask for it." The lightning blue cat bellowed a roar as it walked next to Jace, as the dragon roars echoed in his mind. "I need to find out everything about this place before dueling, no sense in being caught off guard."

Sam thought she heard Track talking, but it was rather quiet and he didn't seem to be waiting on any response from her. She figured he must have found a duel spirit with that eyesight he'd been given. Suddenly, without warning (at least to Sam, who didn't have any kind of sixth sense), vines shot out and bound to each duelist's legs. "Draining vines, huh?" She responded to Track's last comment, even though she had a feeling it wasn't aimed at her. "I suppose, although that's kind of cliché. I guess we'll have to wait until something actually happens to be sure." [i]Although if he went to the trouble of fitting up one arena to drain energy, it's quite possible that he wants the energy for something else. If it were just about the torture he could just use electrical shocks.[/i]

"Good offensive maneuvers, however, I always believed the best offense was a good defense. So to your first attack I'll activate my [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Sakuretsu_Armor]Sakuretsu Armor![/url] your first cannons toast along with it's attack." Mia said, her card activating than going to the graveyard.

"Next, I'll activate my [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Enchanted_Javelin]Enchanted Javelin![/url] Sure, I still lose one of my tokens to your attack but what I gain is far better; 2000 Life Points!" Mia announced as she went up from 4000 to 6000 Life Points, her card than going to the graveyard.

"Now, your last attack will have to be directed towards my second token. A pity." She said, her token than being destroyed.

ooc: Sakuretsu Armor doesn't negate the attack ONLY if the monster isn't destroyed.

[font="Times New Roman"][color="#8B0000"]'Hehehe...now then, my pretty, rises!'[/color][/font] Reginald's eyes flashed again. In the arena, two enormous Venus Flytrap heads appeared, each behind an induvidual duelist. [font="Times New Roman"][color="#8B0000"]'I'd best keep an eye out on the courtyard arena...'[/color][/font] He switched a camera to the arena and he saw nothing. [font="Times New Roman"][color="#8B0000"]'Hmm, well then. I'd best open it up.'[/color][/font] His eyes flashed and the arena floor parted, leaving a pool in the midst. [font="Times New Roman"][color="#8B0000"]'I'd might as well have a bit of fun.'[/color][/font] He collected some bathing clothes and a towl. He left his study again, ensuring he had locked the door and windows. He also played a mysterious device inside their incase anyone broke in. He then went to the pool, got changed and sat in it, relaxing. The water was nice and warm, just the way he enjoyed it. [font="Times New Roman"][color="#8B0000"]'Hmm...the stars are beautiful and the water is just perfect.'[/color][/font] Then he a bat flew near him. [font="Times New Roman"][color="#8B0000"]'Be my eyes and watch the duel for me.'[/color] [/font]The bat flew of to the Greenhouse and flew inside on a statue.

[color="#000080"]'AAAAHH!!!'[/color] Merlin was shocked and he jumped into Mechanism Warrior's arms. He looked at him, and said [color="#000080"]'Hey! I'm Merlin the Wise, not Merlin the Courageous!'[/color]

Albel takes Clara's hand, and replies "Why not, I haven't seen a good duel in about a week. And if I'm correct, these duels should be fantastic to watch. I would like to request though that I might find a room so that I can set down my bags. I've been carrying them for about 3 days now and I'd really rather have them off my back, if you know what I mean." It's obvious to anyone who looked at him that the bags must have been a burden, as his clothes were wrinkled badly, and that his hair appeared as though it was dripping sweat. But with a somewhat cheerful look on his face, Albel made it look like he did this everyday, even though in reality he would spend most days sitting at a desk plugging code into computers to help further advance society rather than participate in rigorous physical exercise.

Track was slightly stunned to see two ginormous plants, which he thought to be two ginormous venus fly traps. Track shook his head violently and rubbed his eyes. " How much fertiliser did it take to grow those humongous monsters." Mechanism Warrior looked at the two humongous venus fly traps behind the two duelists. [color="#FF0000"]" Well lets just say it must taken alot of cows."[/color] Then all of a sudden Merlin jumped into Mechanism Warriors arms, that he was Merlin the wise not Merlin the couragous. Mechanism Warror shook his head Merlin. [color="#FF0000"]" You complete coward." [/color]Mechanism Warrior dropped Merlin leaving him crashing to the ground. Suddenly Track realised something. He looked at the two duel spirits and Samantha. " Hey guys you dont think that those things are gonna eat the loser do you. Cause if they are im definateley not staying for desert."

Mia didn't notice that her legs were wrapped in vines and there were two venues fly traps until after she had finished defending against Miqea's attack."Miqea." Mia called out to get here attention first so that she'd know she was serious and not trying to fake her out or something stupid. "I think this mere practice duel...just turned into something much more entirely." Mia explained, still looking at the vines around her legs.

[color="#000080"]'Well, if you ask me...I do believe that I have seen that plant before.'[/color] Merlin spoke [color="#000080"]'Well, it isn't a Man-Eater because all Venus Flytraps aren't carnivorous. Martian Flytraps, well they are something even worse! Because this is a Venus Flytrap, I bet it'll just suck out energy by spiking thorns on their vines that they use to catch their prey. The only question is, why would someone want so much energy....hold on a minute! Those vines! The platforms! Something strange is going on...Shorty! Mecha! Come on! We need my tome! Follow me to Terry's room!'[/color] Merlin's spirit dashed off down the hallways. [color="#000080"]'Oh dear, oh dear...I believe the worst fate could be upon us.' [/color]

Track was listening to Merlin as he spoke about the venus fly trap, and he said something about martian fly traps. Track wasnt too sure what Merlin was going on about. Mechanism Warrior was shocked to hear Merlin had said. Then all of a sudden Merlin started to dash towards Terrys room. As Track and Mechanism Warrior went chasing after him, Mechanism Warrior spoke. [color="#FF0000"]" For once the old goats actually making sense." [/color]Finally they got to Terrys room. Track then spoke out. " So what are we going to do. Go and wake up Terry or something, so he can help us." Track and Mechanism Warrior awaited Merlins response.

Miqea couldn't help but shriek in horror as the two oversized plants ensnared both herself AND Mia. Perhaps if she wasn't so hasty with her offense, she was sure at least one of her Satellite Cannons could've blasted away these blasted Venus fly traps. Nonetheless, she had a brain wave on how to dispose of them.

[color="#000080"]'What!?! NO! He'd kill me! Instead, we are going to sneak out a little card called 'Merlin's Tome'. This card's effect portrays limited capabilities and knowledge in that book. That book contains every single thing I have seen, heard, smelt, touched and tasted since I walked the Earth'[/color] Merlin heard Terry snore. [color="#000080"]'Hmm...I didn't realise how much he snores...what an absolute neusance.' [/color]He took out his staff and jabbed his head softly...[color="#000080"]'Hmm...'[/color] Then a bit harder... [color="#000080"]'Hmm...'[/color] Then he belted his head [color="#000080"]'Still nothing! Phew! Looks like we are absolutely safe! Now Shorty, get it out already! What do you expect! Me and Mecha are only spirits! We can only do so much!'[/color] Merlin kept an eye on his guardian duelist.

"Somewhere in here yes, but I'll still have to draw for it." Mia explained and then drew a card to start her turn. "Perfect, I'll begin by playing my [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Pot_of_Greed]Pot of Greed.[/url] It allows me to draw two more cards, you see." Mia explained, the card going to the grave and herself drawing two more cards from her deck. "Now, my [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Magical_Mallet]Magical Mallet[/url] to put back one card in my hand and then shuffle my deck, than I can draw another card to replace the one I just ditched." She explained and then did so. "Through all that shuffling I seem to have gotten what we need." Mia explained and then set two cards face-down. "I'll then end my turn." Mia said, giving the duel back to Miqea.

Luckily, Mia did in fact have a Magic Cylinder, and by the sounds of things it was already face-down on her side of the field. Now all Miqea had to do was order her two Satellite Cannons to attack Mia directly, have Mia reflect one of the attacks to Miqea with the Magic Cylinder and viola, both girls would, in theory, be free from those cursed plants.

[color="#800080"]"Alright Satellite Cannons, try attacking Mia's Life Points directly,"[/color] Both cannons fired towards Mia, aiming for the Venus fly trap that surrounded her. Now all Miqea could do is hope and wait.

"Alright I see what we're doing here, Magic Cylinder go!" Dust kicked up wildly as a huge beam slammed down onto Mia, draining her Life Points from 6000 to 5000. Than, another beam followed but this one was sucked into the magics of the magic cylinder, it flipped and turned towards Miqea, aimed at the Venus Fly Trap but would hit her too. The satellite cannons beam was fired straight towards Miqea and her side of the field causing her to take 1000 points of damage, the dust was still slowly clearing around both sides of the field...

Track had gone off somewhere again. Sam hoped it wasn't to disturb Terry, although the boy probably knew other people he wanted to see. Turning back to the battle, it seemed Mia's defence had worked out well, resulting in her gaining 2000 life points from those cannons. Meanwhile, however, the pair seemed to have decided to try to use the cannons in order to remove the flytraps behind them. [i]Not a bad idea,[/i] Sam though, [i]well the cannons are holograms, so I don't know how it can work, but it's probably better to try something, in case it turns out those things eat people.[/i]

As Track walked into the he waited for Merlins signal to go as he was making sure his guardian duelist Terry was asleep by jabbing his head, with his staff. Mechanism Warrior shook his head at Merlin. [color="#FF0000"]" Giving him jabs in the head, might wake him up you know." [/color]Track walked into the room silently. He saw Terrys deck on the table. He went over and picked it. He started searching it for the card Merlins Tome. After a while he found it. " Got it. Lets head out. After you you old goat." Track looked at Merlin and waited for him.
