In the future, people will look back on this time as an age of darkness. An age where two gods were in disharmony. One presides over the deaths of all people, taking away their souls. This is Meiktilia. The other presides over the births of all people, granting them new souls. This is Formival. From time out of mind, people have looked to these gods to bring life and death to the world. But one day, the balance was upset. Too many souls were revived by the reckless actions of Formival, and the world descended into chaos. The weak prayed to Meiktilia for guidance, and for the strength to resist the terror and power of Formival. Those who recieved the god's blessing to take life were known as Blades. Those who blessed with the ability to seal wandering souls were known as Sealers. Would this age sink into the dark abyss? Or would they seek out the light of hope? Even the warring gods had no answer to this question...

[spoiler=[b]Roleplay Rules[/b]]

No fancy passwords here. I expect you to follow the rules of the RP section, Basic and Advanced. I also will be discriminatory with my acceptance of apps. Meaning: If I don’t feel you’re too detailed within your application, you will be rejected. (That isn’t to say, though, that I will help you try to get accepted.) Once the IC thread is up, you’re expected to post at least somewhat regularly if you aren’t absent in real life, failure to do so will result in me giving you the three warnings. Finally, there will be much violence, minimum amount of swearing, and all that fun stuff. I trust you will be mature enough, ok? Also, you may have a limit up to 2+ characters, 4 is the maximum.

[spoiler=[b]The NPCs[/b]]

These NPCs will be reserved to anybody who thinks they can play these roles. Nine will be controlled by me. If there are any objections, I would like to hear them.

[spoiler=[b]Characters[/b]]

Meiktilia -- She is praised as being the god of death and destruction, the opposite of Formival. She is known as the one who destroys and absorbs all of life. Her power is what provides chosen warriors with their abilities as a Blade and Sealer. She grows interested in them and grants them even more power than before.

Nine Asfel -- A Blade who hunts the undead. People praise and respect his outstanding swordsmanship. However, that doesn't seem to interest him at all. He prefers to live freely, without being bounded by rules or obligations. He was adopted and raised by his dead foster father, Arzelide, the King of Lorvin, when he was a small child. He usually speaks sarcastically and without regard for the feelings of the people around him. He is free-spirited and remains calm despite the attention he receives for being a Blade.

Aisha Romandine -- A Sealer with unrivaled potential. She is gifted with so much power it can become too large a burden to handle. Once, she lost control of her powers which led to a horrible incident. During this incident, innocent people were harmed. Because of her unheard of powers, she was protected by the people around her after this incident and became sheltered from the outside world. She is proud and not afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right.

Alfred Formilio -- Nine's younger brother. Just like Nine, Alfred was raised as an adopted child by King Arzelide. His skill as a Blade is also very good although he has always struggled to escape Nine's shadow, processing formidable powers as a necromancer. His personality is completely the opposite of NIne's; he is honest and blunt to a fault.

Sephi Einis -- A Lebaseth girl who was kept in captivity. Ever since she was saved by Nine, she follows him around and creates nothing but inconveniences for him.

Jacob Wybrim -- A Mechanic who used to be a Blade until an incident changed the way he saw the "duty" of the Blades. As a Mechanic, he has hidden himself away in order to focus on researching Mechanical Soldiers.

These specific roles are introduced in the RolePlay and will be used through out the Roleplay. Meiktilia is said to have blessed two types of people - Blades and Sealers - with special powers.

Blades -- Blades have the unparalleled power to destroy things physically.

Sealers -- Sealers have the magical power to destroy souls.

Formival's power on the other hand grants him the ability to revive any dead object.

[spoiler=[b]Formival's Soul[/b]]

Fragments that control the escaped souls of Creatures face in death.

[spoiler=[b]Belzeds[/b]]

The souls of the creatures would then manifest into monsters which are more powerful and stronger than before. These creatures are called Belzeds, which cannot be killed by normal means - instead requiring the skills of both a Blade and a Sealer to destroy both its body and soul.

Remove all text in {curly brackets} before posting. Also, although you can only make one player character, you can make any number of NPCs to be used. If you’d like to make one, write “NPC” in the “(OOC Name)” section in the main spoiler. You don’t need as much for the personality and history section, in that case; only a few sentences.

*keeps his calm* I am doing so as we speak. I am not finding the right font. Although, you do inspire me with that particular format. But in due time, I will change it into my own.
