Since you will rarely be using triggers as boosters (unless maybe you want to save G1s for blocking Silent Tom), the 1000 power difference does not matter. Additionally, Gatling Claw will rarely use its effect for The End, but the option to do so makes it the best choice.

Don't underestimate the value of the 8000 G1 or the 10000 G2. They are your staples.

I don't claim to be a master, by the way, these are only semi-legitimate observations.

Thanks. I only started vanguard a few days ago so I'm not overly knowledgable on how to play the game well. How often should I use shields? Is attacking every turn with the vanguard for more cards through drive check a good idea? etc.

Drawing cards is absolutely critical! never EVER leave your Vanguard standing.

Generally, the anime characters don't begin guarding until they have a G3 out, but there are some situations where you may want to guard earlier (rushes)

The G1, usually, but there are generally better options for the G2. But if you have nothing else, the vanilla is good.

I usually pig out on Draw Triggers first, as they're the most consistent requiring no extra guards/another attacker to be efficient, then Heal and Critical are equally important to me, stands usually get put last. I like 2 in a deck, as they can come as a suprise if needed, while not taking up to much space. I usually go 6 Draw, 4 crit, 4 heal and 2 stand. Depends on the deck though.

I'm bad so I don't use Draw triggers. (Heck, I don't even know if Nova Grapplers have a Draw Trigger with 10k shield)

Regardless, I always make sure I can have 4 Heal and at least 8 Crits.

Draw triggers have never been 10k shields. They are always 5k shields. Though normally when you draw with it you get a sum of 10k[unless you drew prefect sheild or gr3]

Though 2 stand triggers havn't been working for me in testing. I like draw triggers because there's no hand limit in C!!V, I can literally have half my deck in my hand without an problem and the effect of drawing a card can have the biggest change in the flow of a game. Heal Triggers are basicially noob shields and also can win games in certian situations. Criticals are amazing too, they increase your deck's power and can even win the game if 2 get topped with TWIN DRIVE!!.

Whilst a stand trigger gives you an additional attack, Critical usually assures the same result and can actually be used on your vanguard. I understand why Stand Triggers cannot be used on the vanguard, but unfortunately it limits stand triggers a lot. Stand Triggers are good for baiting NGs/FS, though.

My Bermuda.dek focuses on Riverie and This amazing card:

AUTO 【V】:[Choose 1 of your 《Bermuda △》 Rearguard and return it to your hand] When this unit Drive Checks a Grade 3 《Bermuda △》, you may pay the cost. If you did, select up to 1 《Bermuda △》 from your hand and call it onto an empty Rearguard Circle.

I love this card. Not only because she looks like Dizzy who is like one of my favorite VG character but it's effect is aammaazzinnggg.

you mean unless you are forced to >.>

Yea ok, fine. But only if forced. 4-4-4-4 lineups are bad because you can't focus on one thing and that 4 triggers are basicially f*** ups that do nothing. I want to make a giant video on about Vanguard Math and what's good and what isn't, as I think I have a decent grasp of the game.
