I was never accustomed to the main character only winning one game that mattered. honestly the only interesting character in the anime is that blonde guy and I don't even remember them giving him a name.
That will be ironed out in a sloppily written episode about sportsmanship. It always is. I think they did name the dude, but I'm too lazy to look it up.
tl;dr you don't scrub your main character out of nats.
I don't know. I actually thought that was a good move on the part of the writers. It showed that while they were certainly coming along, and certainly weren't pushovers, they didn't quite have what it takes to be in the big leagues. The problems that arch presented made sense considering the characters' development up to that point, and it's only typical that they should have resulted in a loss against stronger, more experienced enemies. It would have been a lot worse if these problems resulted from out-of-character behavior, but it didn't. I would seriously be impressed by it if I didn't know that it was all set-up for this weak story arch they threw at us.

at least its better than the Yugioh filler. And i guess i am the only one not bothered by the training camp? Also if you are referring to the Blond guy with kai most of the time i think his name was miwa or something like that. 1 sec let me get on CC.

Edit: Name is Miwa Tashi.

or if you mean Team Casear Blond guy: name is Koutei

Are you serious? It's painfully obvious that nothing that happens in this arch is ever going to impact the regular story line; it will only serve to fill another 6 episodes or so. The only thing I can think of that would make there any point to the dueling camp is a weird card introduction that would allow Aichi to face off against Ren, and even then, there are better ways to do that. Plus the writers can't seem to decide what the point of the camp is, since Shin dragged everyone along, but Team Caesar only wanted Team Q4 to come. There's bound to be a ton of other inconsistencies to the arch, which is a pity, since the last story arch was so good.

It's a teaching arc for the IRL players. The first episode was about making a deck and focusing on how YOU want to win (win condition), rather than throwing in a bunch of cards of the same clan.

This arc is strictly for the betterment of young kids who play the game.

Also, the nats did give me something good.

Maiden of Libra > Blue Scale Deer

In power and in using CB over SB. Deer looks like an RP too.

Anime related: I hope Miwa/Shin ends up being a secretly pro Vanguard fighter. =]
he has every single card XD and remember in anime the goofy characters are sometimes stronger than they act.
The 1st Shadow paladin with an effect revealed:

Skill:
Auto【V/R】:
When this Unit attack hits a
Vanguard and you have a «Shadow Paladin»
Vanguard, you may unflip 1 from your
Damage Zone
is in: Anime OP2 CD "Believe in my existence
It's one of those kinds of cards I see. 9000 ATK isn't bad on a Rank 2 and it's effect is pretty nice.
its Grade 2 XD rank is Yugioh not CFV XD and I'm gonna assume that shadow paladins willl be counterblasting often judging from this card
Thanks for catching that. And this clan seems a lot like the Nova Grapplers, except hopefully better uses for the counterblast.

i doubt the counterblast will be used for restanding.

can't say for what exactly yet as we only have info on this card <.<. But will most likey not know until around end of September
Since they incorperated the Navo Grapplers use of Counterblast, and the Royal Paladin art style, they might use the Counterblast to remove Rearguards, like Kageros do.

Maybe. It would be interesting if they did something to your opponent's hand or ability to block as a Counterblast, but I doubt that will happen.
blocking CB would/should not happen ever imo

Hand thing already taken by Numatamas (need more of them for deck)

Forgot the Numatamas. Your right. There ought to be more. But then again, there ought to be more Megacolony monsters, but that probably won't happen.

they will eventually. it just takes time.

Anyways todays card of the day:

Stern Blaukruger

Continuous【V】 : If you have「Blaukruger」
in your Soul, this Unit gains +1000.
Auto【V】: [Counterblast (2), Discard 2
«Nova Grappler»'s from your Hand]

When this Unit's attack hits a Vanguard,
you may pay the cost. If paid, Stand all
of your Units on the same column as this
Unit, and during that turn, this Unit loses
its 『Twin Drive!!』 ability.

Or in other words:

Ditch 2 dead grade 3s + flip 2 danage when this card does damage restand your frontline
