[/quote] I've had this lecture in me for hours, and want to get it out. *inhales* The only real reason people say to have about half monsters in your deck is because this limits the amount of things you can do with any reasonably likely hand. If the monsters have effects that trigger in the hand, as well as having great field presence from the hand, there's no real reason to run spells and traps since they're just glorified effects, ones that, unlike monsters, disappear when you use them. These effects are often better, granted, but if the monsters have a crapton of effects that work well with each other, as well as some that activate from the hand (or discard to use them), then you can make a good deck with only monsters. I once ran Fableds with 33 monsters. I had very good reason to run 3x Ragin, too. Easy to get out, easy to empty my hand to make the most of his effect, then empty it again and summon another. In the same turn. I sometimes summoned him 4x in 1 duel (Pot of Avarice). Anyway, my criticism for these, if it [i]wasn't[/i] a mistake to say "if the only [b]cards[/b] in your grave" instead of "if the only [b]monsters[/b] in your grave, then take my lecture to heart and make these go well in a Dark-Gem Monster-Only deck. If not, have a few ways to remove the support spells + traps. Link to comment
