Phantom Roxas
Mysterious figure is pretty hard. Reminds me of the Xemnas fight from KH:FM.
I'm going with the theory that the Mysterious Figure is Master Xehanort's Nobody, so the similarities to that fight are likely intentional.
Is there any Superboss in a SMG game?
I don't think so. In games like SMG, nothing really can qualify as a Superboss. Umbra
Why did it take twenty-seven posts for Dullahan (The Lost Age) to be mentioned? Optional boss, arguably stronger than the true final boss, and the only reward for defeating him is a Summon of the element that the true final boss is resistant against. D.A._Sakuyamon
I'd have to say "Legion/Nuculais from "Castlevania - Curse of Darkness" is the hardest super boss I'v ever faced. First off you have to take out legions corpse husk while not dieing from the kamakaze corpse that explode when they get close enough. After that you fight Nuculais (he was the center point of Legion) full on and he will grow to super size too. Never managed to beat him
Let me guess, Djinn Storm + Formina Stage AND True Collide kept killing off your party? Hilariously enough, Dullahan operates his techniques in a pattern (he uses 8 techniques) and repeats. He never changes the pattern, so that should give you some lulz when fighting him. Still, Djinn Storm is a broken technique as it just sets up for very devastating combos that can Down your front party in one turn.
King of Nothing
Sho from Gotcha Force is a bit of a Superboss. Especially the first time you encounter him, as his entire team is loaded with stuff that's stronger then what you can usually use. (Unless you have played through the game a few times and have some good Borgs at that point)
So much agreement lol. I really hated going against Ruby/Sapphire Knight early in the game. Lunar Origins
Should I be proud of beating Yiazmat? It took me a total of 3 DAYS off and on to beat him, but I guess what really motivated me to beat him was that I had horrible strep throat and was bed-bound with nothing to do. I beat him, and then I was like "Alright, I'm done with this game." Then I sold it.
Two-Hundred And One
Red has not been mentioned. Then again, he could also be considered a True Final Boss by some people... Also, the Smoky Progg from Pikmin. Superbosses earn the Unownguy Seal of Approval. TTR~
I love them. Although I've only beaten Sephiroth from KHII, but working on Unknown in Birth by Sleep.

Flinsbon
I still haven't beaten Vanitas Remnant. How do I beat this guy? It seems like every time i start to get even remotely close, the game screws me over with some random glitch.
Grunt Issun
would Emperor Bulblax count from Pikmin 1, not Pikmin 2.
Two-Hundred And One
No, he's more the final boss. Smoky Progg, on the other hand, probably would. It only appears if you make it to a late area early in the game, there's only one, and it's the only enemy that can eat Pikmin straight out of their onion. And it leaves a smoke trail that can kill Pikmin with ease. And drops an item that you can use to get 100 pikmin of any one color.
Kuri
I'm glad to say after 456 tries, literally, 2 years ago my cousin and I together finally beat Sephiroth in both KH and KH2. I'm also sad to say we were addicted. Thank you.
UltimaSeekerX
I remembered another superboss: Ninetails from Megaman X Comman Mission. Its really difficult because you must first beat the other tails, which are also hard (except fivetails and maybe threetails, those are incredibly easy). Then you must face the main enemy who has a great number of OHKO attacks. And if it isn't enough, the boss has a nasty tendency to revive your characters just to kill them again. That last part is really annoying, specially when you just want to lose, so you can equip your characters properly. I tried like 10 times to beat him. Shalltear Bloodfallen
I personaly love superbosses just for the fact how you can squeeze that extra doze of enjoyment out of a game while at the same time prove how good you´ve become at said game. Personaly, the only game I own that has superbosses (that I can think of/remember) is Kingdom Hearts. Managed to beat all of the superbosses in it by now and felt incredibly awesome while doing it (though I´m well aware the superbosses in KH are probably REALY easy compared to other games)
