Atsuko drew her cards. "Alright, then! I draw, and I Normal Summon Wind-Up Soldier!" She placed a card down, but nothing appeared. She noted Yoh's confused look, and tried again. "I said, I Summon Wind-Up Soldier!" Again, nothing appeared on her field. "Wait a second..." She took off her eyepiece, only to see that Winged Kuriboh was still on the field. "Duh!" She facepalmed herself. "I'm a few decades in the past! You guys don't have the ARD system yet!" She turned off her odd Duel Disk and took off the eyepiece, then started searching around for something. "Would you guys mind if I use a spare Duel Disk or something? At least until I can make my D-Pad work off of your old Solid Vision system."

Sirrus tapped his earpiece. Each member of his team had one, for communication purposes. "Com-link 001 checkin. Com-links 002, 003, and 004, report in immediately." Sirrus said into the comlink. He tapped it again. "It's been too quiet lately. I'll need to cover some ground soon. They'll have their work cut out for them... At least the turf wars have been lessened, beyond the point of mortality... Best not dwell about that now. Too much time has passed." Sirrus thought. He looked out one of the broken windows, from the upstairs railing of the harbor's interior. It was a lush, deep green color, despite it being rusted over. It provided a good vantage point out into the ocean, and happened to face directly at Neo Domino City. This, however, was of no importance to him.

"This is Com-link 002" Tallis answered swiftly as he got Sirrius' "message". He hopped across the railing of a building and hopped from one building to the next. As he approached the team's meeting point, Tallis swiftly lunged onto the ground as the wind made a slight swoosh around him. He continued to stride towards their hideout as he sprinted past several run down hut-like buildings. When he reached a clearing, he eyed an old, dilapidated harbor. "And here we are" he grinned gruffly as he entered.

"This is com-link 003, I am on my way to the meeting room." Malik said as he was starting to run towards the meeting room, but not so fast that he would drop his burger. He was chewing while he ran which wasn't the best idea. He started to slow down a bit as he was nearing the meeting area. "Man this is a tasty burger. I wonder where he got it from...lets see here. McFestos. Man that sounds like a weird name for a burger joint." Malik arrived outside the meeting hall. He took a minute to calm himself down, and wipe off the remains of the burger. He stood outside of the hall guarding it until he gained further instruction.

Yoh didn't really know what Atsuko meant when she said a few decades in the past, but right now he didn't care. "I got an extra Duel Disk here.." he said moving back towards a small room and then coming back out with a plain white Duel Academia Duel Disk. Yoh handed it to Atsuko and said,"Here, that one was the my grandpa gave me. Said it came from the very first Duel Academy...but try it out and let's try that move again." He moved back to where he was standing before, waiting for Atsuko to put on the new Duel Disk and starting her move over.

Atsuko did so, loading up her new Duel Disk, and then figured out that she had to push a button to activate it. Muttering about old things, she tried again. "I Normal Summon Wind-Up Soldier in Attack Mode!" Something tried to be summoned, but the program started glitching, and every now and then, the image of Wind-Up Soldier, a green robot-like figure with a giant golden key in its back, would have a random part of it become data, disappear, or contort. (1800 ATK, LV4) "Stupid system! From what I can tell on this archaic display, the picowiring inside of the card is screwing up with the Duel Disk's onboard card detection system. I'll fix it." She whipped out her other Duel Disk, which she called a "D-Pad", and punched in some commands for a minute before the image fixed itself. "Well, it's a temporary fix, but I downloaded the information of my deck from my D-Pad into the Solid Vision system. I just added my deck to the world card database, though my deck is made of cards that won't exist for over 20 more years, if my reckoning is right."

Shun was outside the harbor taking a seat and guarding the place until he hears Sirrus call. This Com-link 004, no report of intruders outside." Shun was so lazy this time. He waited for Sirrus's response. He then checked in the other side the harbor. No one was there. He gently looked in the water. It was silent and peaceful. He waited for Sirrus's next command. He hoped a for a duel later. He is craving for one. Even though he is getting lazy of guarding the place. He said to himself, "I'm bored and I wanna use the computer." Shun waited and waited.

Lucas had sat down while Yoh and Atsuko were talking about Duel Disk's. Lucas was never as good with the Technology part of dueling as the others. He could do some basic stuff though no where near as well as everyone else. He much more enjoyed customizing decks and attempting to clear the other peoples minds so they could obtain accel synchro. He was alot better at that. He gazed over to his duel runner and he knew exactly what he wanted to do. He wanted to Turbo Duel. Right now

Yoh still didn't understand what Atsuko meant when she was talking about the whole "20 more years", but again he didn't really care at the moment. Right now, he was interested in the monster that she summoned to the field, Wind-Up Soldier. Yoh smirked a little and said,"A monster with 1800 attack on your first turn...nice. Now would you like to continue your move or would you like to end it and let me continue with the next move?" He was excited in this duel, mainly cause he was dueling against a series of monsters he never saw before....and this got him psyched. No just to see if she attacks... he thought, smiling a little bit.

Georgia flew in, landing lightly at the edge of the abandoned duel factory, as she had tracked Greed here after Adelwolf's signal had stopped functioning. She looked around the factory, before wandering over to where Track was, and and saying, "What happened to the rest of the team, and why are you the only one still here." While this happened, she had sat down and hit the button to pack up her jetpack once more. Once it was fully back in bag form, she reached over into the front pocket of the bag and grabbed out a bar of plain chocolate from it.

As Damien proceeded to his destination a red dot appeared on his head-up display. He thought to himself A duel, at Team Avenger's HQ, eh? Well, this will be an interesting party to crash. I wonder what those fools are up to now anyway. No matter, none of them would be a match for my deck. As he continued along the road at blistering speeds he decided he'd take a different path. In the past he had confronted the team from a clear angle, where they could easily prepare for his runner to arrive. This time, he wanted to surprise them, and the best way would be to appear as if from no where. This is going to be fun. He thought to himself.

Track noticed that Gorgia had landed next to him. He looked up at her. " Well Adelwolf got into trouble with team avengers, and he began a duel with thier leader. But then in the middle of the duel Adelwolf had to forfiet because his duel runner wouldnt work, at least i think thats what happened." Track stopped for a moment, then carried on talking. " As for Greed i think he was suppossed to go duel with a member of team avengers." Track gave moon to Goergia and began to run to were Adelwolf drove off. As he did so he looked behind him. " Hey take moon, im gonna go check out what happened if you wanna come then you better hurry. Oh yeah and bring my duel runner for me too, thanks." Track looked back to where he was facing and carried on running until he reached Adelwolf. He saw Adelwolf on the ground crying. " Hey whats wrong with you."

Greed sighed, seemed his 'friend' wasn't up for a duel really. Disengaging his runner's dueling system he swung around and headed back to where Track, Adelwolf, and now Georgia were. His runner came to a slight screeching halt as he pulled up to where Georgia was and nodded to her. "Seems like you finally showed up to what little party there is now a days." He shrugged a bit as he looked to Moon. "Want me to take her, its not that easy to grab a runner with a pooch ridin with ya, but I do have some experience in that field."

Atsuko continued her turn. "Now, I activate Wind-Up Factory!" A set of mechanical arms next to a strange machine that had the same cutesy style Wind-Up Soldier had emerged from a portal behind Wind-Up Soldier. "I now activate Wind-Up Soldier's effect, allowing him to gain 400 ATK and an extra Level until the end of the turn!" The giant key behind Wind-Up Soldier started cranking on its own, then, once it had wound up enough, let loose, causing the Soldier to suddenly jerk to life and get faster. (1800 ATK -> 2200 ATK) (LV4 -> LV5) "And now my Wind-Up Factory's effect activates! Once per turn, when I activate the effect of a Wind-Up monster, like my Wind-Up Soldier, I can add a Wind-Up monster to my hand from my deck, and I choose Wind-Up Magician!" Some mechanical parts popped up from a slot behind the assembly apparatus, and the arms started to put the parts together, making some sort of blue magician. The magician transformed into a card, and the card shot into Atsuko's hand. "Now, Wind-Up Soldier, attack Winged Kuriboh! Corkscrew Punch!" The green robot's lower right arm started to rotate, going faster and faster, until it was a cylindrical blur, at which point he started to move forward, pulling the spinning arm back to pound the cute brown furball into oblivion.

"Sorry about that, but we are dueling! Unless of course you have an explanation for intruding on our base of operations?!" Astro gazed around the factory which he had made home. "We need to have a reason, because you know the rules. Gangs intruding on other gangs territory means a duel. So what is your excuse? Come here to duel or to talk?" Then he revved his duel runner in warning, making sure that the person he was about to duel knew the consequences.
He better have a perfectly good explanation for intruding on the Team Avengers HQ. We don't take kindly to rival gangs, less to those intruding on our territory and trying to claim it by dueling. Lets see what he says....

Greed's eyes looked to Astro as he tipped his hat up. "I can't talk for my boss really, but as far I knew, we were all out for a nice ride. How he ended up crashin' inta yal's place here is beyond me. But, if yer still up for a duel, I'll oblige you with one." Greed smirked and waited for Astro's response. His brow shifted a bit at the revving of Astro's runner but shrugged it off. They were two impulsive duelists it seemed so it would actually make for a rather interesting duel in Greed's book. He revved his engine once more, like they were two gun slingers meeting at high noon for a show down. "You're move partner."

Yoh smirked as he saw the Wind-Up monsters appear on the field, then he heard Atsuko say the magic words: "Attack Winged Kuriboh!". He held up a card in his hand and said,"Quite the opposite, Atsuko. I activate my quick-play spell, Transcendent Wings! Now by removing two cards in my hand and Winged Kuriboh from the field...I can special summon from my deck to the field, Winged Kuriboh Lv. 10!" Now Winged Kuriboh disappeared, and a dragon-like creature with a Kuriboh in the middle of it appeared on the field. "Lv. 10's effect, now I can tribute this from the field and your monsters are all destroyed. Plus, you are inflicted damage to your life points, equal to the amount of all the attack from your monsters." he said, watching Winged Kuriboh Lv. 10 disappear, as well as Wind-Up Soldier. Yoh also smiled as Atsuko's life points dropped by 2200, now her life points stood at 1800. "Anything else, Ms. Fudo?"

"Fine, then lets duel!" Astro sped out the factory doors as an automated voice said the all-so-familiar words of
Speed World 2 Activate. Preparing duel road.
Waiting for authorization...
AUTHORIZATION CODE 00.00.00. HACKING SECTOR SECURITY DUEL AUTHORIZATION. ACTIVATING AUTHROIZATION....
Authorization granted!
Red energy barriers formed around the streets, signalling the start of the Turbo Duel.
"So, I am to make the first move, huh? Then I draw!" Astro added the sixth card to his hand, "I shall activate the effect of Tech Genus Alchemist, which allows me to send him to the Graveyard during my Main Phase 1! Next, I Summon Tech Genus Tiger which then allows me to Special Summon a tuner monster. This tuner is known as Tech Genus Mech Fairy, and is a Level 1 tuner. So, obviously this is a Tech Genus deck, so can you have a lucky guess to what comes next? Yes, you've probably guessed it. A synchro summon! So;
Synchro Flight Control! Limiter Removal, Level Five, Booster Injection 120%. Recovery Network Range Updated! All Clear! Go! Synchro Summon! Come on! Tech Genus Power Gladiator!"
A large humanoid monster appeared from a bright flash of light which was emmited by a single ring and 4 stars. It had a large shield made from orange and red flames and held a modified Tech Axe. It ran with Astro's Duel Runner.
"Unfortuantely, I cannot Synchro Summon again this turn, so I shall End Phase with 2 face-downs! Over to you!"

Greed took off after Astro and smirked at the use of Astro's Syncros. "Cant say I've ever gone against a T.G. Deck before, but what the heck, I'll give anythin a whirl these days. My turn." And with that Greed drew his card. His eyes looked over the array of card as he formulated. "Let me see..." He thought for a moment and chuckled. "Reckon it couldn't hurt." He looked up. "Alrighty partner, firstly I use my Speed Spell Double summon, which will allow me 2 Normal summons this turn so I bring out Neo-Spacian Grand Mole and Koa'Ki Meru Sandman." There were two small flashes of light as the rather cute looking mole, and a large behemoth of sand and stone rose from the ground. "Now bout that there pesky Syncro you got. Grand Mole, attack his Gladiator." The mole took off, drilling at Astro's monster. "Thanks to my Mole's ability, I can return the two monsters involved in battle to their owners hands, stead of applying damage. So come on back Grand Mole, and say Bye bye to your gladiator, though I doubt I've seen the last of him." Greed watched as the two monsters left the field. "Leaving you wide open for an attack by my Sandman. Sandman, attack!" The large behemoth struck Astro with a rather nasty punch. "I end, and because f my Sandman's ability, I reveal my Grand Mole to prevent him being destroyed. Your move kiddo." Greed chuckled, only turn two, and this was exciting.

Greed Stats

"Not so fast! I shall activate my Counter Trap Card! A Card called Temporary Delete Folder X! This card has some consequences, however, more so for you! You see, I am Temporarily allowed to delete the effects of one of my monsters and the same with one of yours. Which means that I shall be choosing your Grand Mole. So sorry to you, but you have just attacked me with a Normal Monster! Which means you'll be taking a big hit of Battle Damage! Enjoy!"
Grand Mole attacked Power Gladiator, both monsters had shrunk in size and both had no effects. As soon as Grand Mole made contact with Power Gladiator, it shattered, inflicting damage to Greed's Life Points.
"Unfortunately this effect lasts until my End Phase next turn... so finish your move if you will?"

Greed chuckled. "Your trap activates my Sandman's ability. By tributing it, I negate the activation of your Trap and destroy it, so neither of us lose life points, but our monsters do retain their effects, so both of them return to the hands they came from, or in your case, your extra deck. Nice move though partner." Greed nodded, this was in fact a rather intense duel, and still was only on the second turn, well, third now when Astro took over. "I end my turn with 1 Face Down, your move."

'Track, you ouldn't understand...my father, no, my hero, died trying to save my life. He was the most courageous man I ever met. And I couldn't even last a single, stupid Duel! It is just unfair. I want to be like him, but I'm not even close.' Adelwolf then stopped crying. 'Dad...Hades...Me and Moon are just trying to become like them, heroic, courageous and unfamiliar with the words Give Up. But hey, if I can't even deal with a damaged runner and a roughed up arm. My Dad saved my Mon with an arm slashed of by a Goldenbacked Bear. It was that kind of Bear that killed him, he always had a thing with those Bears...' Adelwolf chuckled. 'Well, I'd best be heading back to HQ, get my arm fixed up. But what will I do about my Runner?'

Atsuko was pretty sure that her Wind-Up Soldier would blast through that tiny monster, even though her inner girly girl was a bit sad to see it go, since it was so cute. However, she did not expect for it to...evolve...She stared in wonder as the little critter transformed into a beautiful golden dragon with angelic wings. Which then exploded in a massive burst of light, consuming the field. She felt a searing pain affect her as her Life Points dropped, and just continued to stare off into space for a few moments until Yoh said her name. "Umm...yes, in fact.
