Support for Armityle The Chaos Phantom.

I was bored one day and came up with these. Needless to say, I wanted to post them because if I didn't, who would?

Maybe I'm just an idiot who wanted to try and make a card to support a card like [url=http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Armityle_the_Chaos_Phantom]Armityle[/url]. I honestly liked the idea behind the guy. He's just not worth the effort to summon, which most of you know. I want to fix that, so I'm going out of my way to make all sorts of hopefully not-broken support. From re-creating the Sacred Beasts, to giving him a draw engine, I will do it until I actually make something that makes this guy worth the effort.

Or maybe I already did that and I'm trying to break the card. I'll let you all decide. More to come when I'm not lazy.

Phantom Caller
Level 3
DARK / Fiend
Effect Monster
ATK: 1500 / DEF: 0
When this card is summoned, draw 1 card. If it is a “Phantom” monster, you can discard it to draw 1 more card. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, add 1 “Phantom” monster, except “Phantom Caller” from your Graveyard to your hand.

Phantom Champion
Level 4
DARK / Fiend
Effect Monster
ATK: 0 / DEF: 0
This card gains 2000 ATK during your opponent’s turn only. When this card is destroyed, add either 1 "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", or "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" to your hand from your Deck.

Phantom’s Soul
Level 8
DARK / Fiend
Effect Monster
ATK: 1000 DEF: 1000
This card can only be Normal Summoned by tributing 1 “Phantom" monster you control. This card’s name is always treated as “Uria, Lord of Searing Flames”. If this card is attacked, increase its ATK by 2000 until the End Phase. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 “Phantom” monster from your Graveyard, then discard 1 card.

Phantom’s Power
Level 8
DARK / Fiend
ATK: 1500 DEF: 0
This card can only be Normal Summoned by tributing 2 “Phantom” monsters you control. This card cannot be Set. This card’s name is always treated as "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms". When this card attacks, you can Special Summon 1 “Phantom Token” (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 4/ATK 1000/DEF 0) in Defense Position on your side of the Field. That token cannot be destroyed in battle. If a monster is Special Summoned, increase this card’s ATK by 2000 until the End Phase.

Phantom’s Body
Level 8
DARK / Fiend
Effect Monster
ATK 0 / DEF 0
This card’s name is always treated as “Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder.” Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon 1 “Phantom” monster in your Graveyard, ignoring the summoning conditions. When this card is attacked, you can select 1 monster you control. That monster is the new attack target. When this card attacks, you can select 1 monster your opponent controls, except the attack target. This card gains ATK equal to that monster's ATK until the End Phase.

Phantom Charity
[Normal Spell Card]
Activate only while “Armityle The Chaos Phantom” is on your side of the Field. Increase your Life Points by 2000, then draw 2 cards.

Chaos Phantom’s Rage
[Equip Spell Card]
This card can only be equipped to “Armityle The Chaos Phantom”. The equipped monster gains 10,000 ATK during your opponent’s turn.

Chaos Phantom's Rage seems to only protect you from battle damage. It needs another effect or ten.

I think these cards need a little more field presence, and synergy with Phantasmal Martyrs. Of course, you would have to edit the text on some of the cards, but w/e.

Chaos Phantom's Rage was basically just to make it to where Armityle can actually withstand an opponent's turn. Needless to say, I'll probably add something to it when I get a decent idea.

I'm not much for using over-the-top names for groups of cards, so I'm just going to assume that the Phantasmal Martyrs are the Sacred Beasts, in which case I can flat out say that's not what I had in mind.

They aren't supposed to be used with the Sacred Beasts, they're supposed to replace them. The Sacred Beasts, at least to what I've seen, can't really work in a deck built around summoning Armityle. It just doesn't work, too cloggy, too hard to summon all three, and not worth the end result. So, I figured that creating some replacements for them would help at the very least. I may end up creating several replacements, all to try and satisfy my goal of creating a working Armityle deck.

If they AREN'T the Sacred Beasts, please share what they are, since it makes the most sense for the Phantasmal Martrys to be a name for the Sacred Beasts.

Possibly, once I get more monsters made it shouldn't be hard to summon them anyway. Even faster would seem like overkill.

Trap Monsters? Eeeeeeh, I honestly don't see why I would try to fit them in here. They aren't needed, since the Uria replacement, Phantom's Soul, doesn't need them at all for this. It's possible, but as of now I think I'll keep them out.

I loved that show and I hate the fact it was ended. Why would they do that?

Anyway, I like the searching power, they just need to be a little faster.

EDIT: Phantom caller doesn't say where you're searching from. Both Deck and Graveyard would be useful, so I can't tell.

I didn't know about that card. I may work in something LIKE it, but I'm probably not going to make a card that is used for that, considering this is supposed to be used separate from the Sacred Beasts. Consider it a maybe.

I agree about the faster part, since right now they're all Normal Summons, no easy way to summon the bigger ones, and by extension, no easy way to summon Armityle, thus making this all pointless. I will be making some faster ways to summon them for sure.

Thanks for catching that. It was supposed to be Graveyard.

I would change your 'Hamon' or [s]'Urea'[/s] 'Uria' effect. At the moment both revive from the grave after a discard, which is a little boring. Maybe one could summon from the hand?

Also, your cards aren't the only ones with Phantom in them, there already are cards with phantom in their name. Most of them suck, but if you do decide to exclude them you can change the set to Chaos Phantoms instead.

Good luck with your attempts to make armityle viable. Remember his summoning is an inherent -2, so make sure he gets some decent protection. You could try a continuous spell which aids in its summoning and protection in one.
