[Mecha Love]

Astro groaned. "Activate Trap! Quick to Arms! This allows me to add a Vylon Monster to my Epsilon as an Equip Card! Go, take up arms Epsilon! Arm yourself with [b]Vylon Shield[/b]! Vylon Shield allows me to prevent my monsters destruction once per turn! However, I still take the Battle damage I would have taken anyway!" A round golden shield materialised on Vylon Epsilon's arm, and protected it from the incoming attack. However, 1200 points of damage was inflicted to Astro, making his Speed Counters decrease quite rapidly. Then he revved his engine again. "Nice, but you'll have to do much better than that!"
[i]I wonder if he got the hint about the deck?

[b]I end my turn![/b] shouted Ed. He was furious. His only wish was to win Astro and take his deck.

[Immortal Chaos]

Moments passed and slowly Roland sat up in his hammock. He swung his legs over the side and dropped down the small 6 or 7 inches to the ground. He stretched, his arms over his head, fingers interlocking and back arching as he got ready to head outwards into the city again. His relaxing had refreshed his mind and body. He turned his head slowly in a circle, making the chain around his neck, which held a brilliant green key, move up and then down. He pulled the headband up off his eyes as they took in the sight before him. A small yawn crossed his lips as he started folding up his hammock and tucked it into the side compartments of his runner. He picked up his disk, and secured it in it's spot as a leg swung up and over the seat of his bike. He revved the engine once, then twice, put his feet up on the rests, and with one final rev, he was off.

[King of Nothing]

Tsu're just sighed as he played a small combination of notes. He closed the piano and stepped out of the mansion. The combination of notes he played was a code for his duel runner. The duel runner appeared infront of him. As he climbed on and began to accelerate, he just stared at the duelist by him. "Very well." He accelerated forward, "Follow me, though, I'm choosing where we duel." After about ten minutes they arrived on a freeway above the ocean. "I hope you can swim." He smiled at the joke as his deck shuffled.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

A couple of miles ahead, on that same ocean freeway, a wind started to stir, even though there was no wind around. A few feet above the pavement, it seemed like space was twisting and warping, until a portal into a swirling vortex had formed, from which the wind was being generated. A faint screaming could be heard that got louder and louder until the vortex flashed and a young man landed on the pavement below, at which point the portal closed itself. He slowly got up and rubbed his head before realizing that a strange device was on his arm. He examined his clothing, wondering where he was and what he was wearing, until he saw a pair of vehicles approaching. "Hey!" He cried out. "Hey! Slow down!" He waved his arms up and down to try and get them to stop.

Leopold was having one of those days. The kind of day where you wake up at six in the morning because of noise outside, and rush out to find that the streets are empty. Leopold decided early that morning to just try and forget his rude awakening and go for a nice, refreshing spin in a Duel Runner along the shoreline. Being as attuned to street events as 20 years in the business of Dueling had made him, Leopold was quickly roused from his morning stupor by the sounds of shouts and engines that typically accompany a Turbo Duel, and so navigated his way up to the freeway in minimal time. The duel had just begun, and the first turn was underway. That's when Leopold noticed the woebegone youth screaming frantically at the two advancing Duel Runners, flailing his arms.

"Hold up! Pause the duel! HELLO?!" he yelled, accelerating his Runner and making a beeline for the kid on the road. As the two Duelists approached, Leopold shot at the confused person, and hastily extended the wings on his Duel Runner. "Come on, baby, you can do it, come on, come on..." Gritting his teeth, Leopold threw the Runner into a 360 degree turn, snatching the kid up on one of the wings and turning around just in time as the two Duelists came speeding on by.

"Haha! Did you see that? Not bad for an old-timer!" Leopold yelled at no one in particular. He decelerated his Runner and let the two Duelists speed on ahead. Coming to a complete stop, he turned his attention to his unwitting passenger. "What in Slifer's name are you doing sitting on the middle of a road when a Duel is in progress? Do you have any idea how badly you would have been cut up had I not gotten you out of there?!"

[The Sleeping Dude]

Ran shouted, "Alright, wohoo! Let's go My turn, draw" Ran drew a card. His Speed Counter began to 1 "Activate Speed Spell - Overboost" Ran suddenly began to pick up speed having his Speed Counters to 5 "Alright Activate Speed Spell - Ancient Rules" Special Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". A Bluish White Dragon appeared from the heavens with beautiful Blue-Eyes."Normal Summon The White Stone of Legend" An egg appeared in the ground. though it look like a normal egg, it shining brightly. "Time to prepare to Synchro Summon." The White Stone began to extremely shine brightly as before and become a ring. Blue-Eyes entered it and appeared, "Blue-Eyes Alpha Dragon". It appears to be a upgraded version of Blue-Eyes White Dragon but nonetheless. Since The White Stone is sent to the Graveyard, Ran can add 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his deck to his hand. "I end my turn." Ran shouted, while his Duel Runner slowed down with his Speed Counters returned to 1 with the effect of Speed Spell - Overboost.

Leaving his house by the mountside, Aj hopped on his red and black Duel Runner. He turned the key to cut on his bike only to find out that he was low on gas. He turned on the GPS and rode to the nearest gas station. After filling up on gas, he accelerated towards the outskirts of the city to see if he could find a good duel and maybe a key. On his way his to the city his GPS began to go off. A green dot showed on his map. He has finally found a key, a green one at that, but it was on the move. He chased the key only to find out it was owned by a Turbo Duelist. As he pondered on whether it was a Rebel Duelist or a Dark Order Duelist, he finally decided to challenge the duelist. He sent the request and waited for a response.

Roland revved the bike again as he sped up, only to receive e duel request from a duelist behind him. He sighed a bit and nodded, figuring a good duel would perk his spirits up. It had been a very dull day and he wanted some form of excitement before he fell back asleep. He cracked his neck, and pushed afew buttons that changed his runner's shape, allowing Roland to sit up as his disk connected itself to the outer sides of the wheel well. He reached into his pocket and drew out his deck. Placing it in the slot he looked to his challenger. "If you insist, I'll give you a pleasure of going first."

Roland smirked as he drew his card and looked over his hand. "Very well..." His eyes looked to Aj as his smirk deepened. "First off, I use the speed spell Giant Trunade. This handy Spell allows me to return all Spell and Traps to their owner's hand. SInce I have none, you are the only one affected by this." His hands ran over his cards as he selected one. "Next I summon Maju of the Ten thousand hands." A beam of light exploded near Roland's duel runner as the grey monster emerged. "Now for my monster's ability. When he's summoned I get to search for a Ritual Spell....or monster card. So I choose the Spell card 'End of the world'." Roland's deck glew as the spell card popped out for him to grab. [i]One more card, and the first king will be summoned.[/i] He said to himself. "FOr the end of my turn, I place 2 cards face down. Your move."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

The young man was blinded by the approaching vehicle, having to bring up one of his arms over his eyes, then felt something metallic pick him up, only to find himself behind some man on some high-speed motorcycle-like vehicle. He briefly looked back to see the duel in progress, entranced by the beautiful holograms, before realizing that he was being talked to, and replied. "Hold on, hold on! Who are you, where am I , how are those people making those creatures, and what are you talking about with these 'Duel' things? And who in the world is 'Slifer'?"

"Hmm interesting"replied Aj with a smirk."I draw. I summon Malicious Arcane Mage in Attack Position." A bright red orb appeared next to his Duel Runner and it expanded to become a black and red mage. "I activate his effect and Special Summon Malicious Guard in Face-down Defense Position. Then I activate the Speed Spell Malicious Summoning which allows me to Special Summon another Level 4 or lower "Malicious" monster from my deck. I Special Summon Malicious Imp in face up Attack Position. I now Exceed Summon Malicious Voidmaster, Anguish. The 3 monsters Malicious Imp, Malicious Arcane Mage, and Malicious Dragon Knight flew up into the air and mearged into a vicious creature of hoplessness and despair. I now attack using Malicious Voidmaster, Anguish."yelled the eager duelist. "Void Flame Burst. with that I play 2 face dows and end my turn."

Roland laughed as the blast hit his monster, but reduced none of his life points, nor was his monster destroyed. "You activated a face down of mine. Scrap Iron Scarecrow, not only was your attack negated, but I get to reset my trap for later use." Roland drew his card. "Now its my turn." He looked to his newly drawn card and smirked more. "Perfect. Allow me to set the stage for the first king! I use my spell card End of the world, and combining this spell with the ritual raven i just drew, if I ritual summon a dark monster, my raven counts as the full tribute!" Roland's eyes flickered as he set the stage up. "Arise from the ashes of the darkness and bring havoc! ARISE DEMISE, KING OF ARMAGEDDON!" There was a brilliant flash of dark light as flames engulfed the field, expanding, then retracting to form Demise's figure. The demon king monster hefted his war ax into his hands as his sinister smile crossed his lips. "Now then, by offering 2000 of my life points, I Use my king's ability to eradicate the field except for him!" The beast laughed as the essence of Manju and every monster on Aj's side of the field was absorbed into Demise, leaving husks of the former monsters which quickly turned to ash. "The best part is, his effect also targets Spells and Traps, so say good by to any defense you had!" Every face down, including Roland's was shattered in an instant. "And now my King, attack him directly!" With that the beast reeled its ax up over its head and swung it down towards AJ.

"Nooooooooo" sreamed the terrified teen. "Well I now activate my quick spell Exceed from Hell. I now Special Summon Malicious Voidmaster, Anguish from my Graveyard. Now your monster attacks my Face-up Malicious Voidmaster, Anguish. Since my attack is higher, your monster is destroyed."

The lombax named Alexander roamed through the streets, drawing quite a lot of (somewhat expected) attention from the surrounding citizens. His Duel Spirit, Umbris the Neo-Spacian Umbra Panther, walked right alongside Alex, invisible to everyone but the lombax.

[b]"You know,"[/b] said Umbris, [b]"you are way too comfortable with walking around in the open. You could have worn something to conceal your features."[/b]

"And draw more attention to myself that way? No thanks. Beside, I wouldn't look good in a trenchcoat, fedora and sunglasses. Not unless I make it work," Alex said with a slight chuckle.

[b]"Never a dull moment with you, is it?"[/b] Umbris sighed, seemingly annoyed but with a slight grin on his muzzle.

"Nothing in my life is ever dull," Alexander replied. "Although, I would like a change of pace from all of these staring eyes," he added, referring to the hundreds of people gawking at him.

Leopold was understandably flabbergasted--even for a kid this young, he'd expect the guy to have some rudimentary knowledge of, well, life. "Who do you think Slifer is? A television producer? No, of course not! I'm talking about the Egyptian God card! Kids who don't respect the cards before the Ener-D reactor..." Still panting heavily, Leopold realized that the kid was just staring at him quizzically. Perhaps he should try a different track--after all, he reasoned, it's hardly ingratiating yourself to a stranger whose life you just saved by yelling at them. "You're on a highway, over the ocean, in Neo Domino City. You were about to get pasted by Duel Runners, so I picked you up. What do you mean, how do they make the monsters? Are you from the Satellite? The holograms in this part of town are much better. You can actually smell the monsters these days. Now, do you want a ride back into town, or are you just going to sit there muttering all day? And say, I'm Leopold. What's your name?"

Roland smirked a bit. "Actually, a replay occurs, and I can choose not to attack if I see fit. Which is what I do. I lose no life, and I dont lose my monster, but the effect of my other face down card activates when it is destroyed. Durring your next turn, you wont be able to conduct your battle phase, which will save me some life if Im lucky." Roland closed his eyes for a moment and looked to Aj. "Your move mate. Better make it a good one too."

Roland exhaled and drew his card, hoping it would be something useful. He was in luck, his deck never let him down. "I activate my Speed Spell...Last Resort. At the cost of 5 cards on the top of my deck, I get to draw 5 cards, and my life gets replenished by 300 for each discarded card." Roland sent the top cards of his deck to his grave and drew 5 new cards. "I summon a second Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands. Allowing me to search for another Ritual Spell or monster, this time I am looking for Garlandolf....." His deck glew again as the monster came to his hand. "The game has changed boy, and now I will show you true destruction. Firstly, I activate Mystical Space Typhoon, at the cost of 3 of my speed counters I can destroy one of your Spells or traps, and I choose that one you just played." A swirling torrent of wind and lightning lurched forward and shattered the trap. "You should know better than to go against Tyrants." He chuckled. "Now I Use my Ritual Speed Spell - Ritual of Destruction. And to further it, since I sent some of my Djinn to the grave, I can use them as my ritual monster's sacrifice. So I remove my Djinn Prognosticator of Rituals, my Djinn Disserere of Rituals, and lastly, Djinn Releaser of Rituals, to summon my second king, GARLANDOLF!" A dark light again exploded as a larger demon looking beast rose. "From the darkness of your wicked dreams comes the tyrant of nightmares! Garlandolf, King of Destruction!" The beast laughed. "Garlandolf's ability activates now, when it is summoned, every monster on the field who's DEF is lower or equal to my new king's atk is destroyed, which means I clear the field of everything except my King." The essences of all monsters on the field were absorbed into Garlandolf ans they turned to ash. "Now i use my Speed spell at the cost of all of my speed counters. Revival of Tyrants. This handy card allows me to summon any monster with King in it's name to my side of the field this turn. One turn is all I need. SInce Garlandolf destroyed 2 monsters, he gains 200 atk, bringing him to 2700. Demise, rise again from the ashes to spread havoc." A dark light erupted from the Grave as the first beast rose again. "Now my kings, attack, first Demise! Brutal slash!"

[spoiler] Last resort: Speed Spell - Activate only if your life is less than or equal to half its original total. Remove 1 Speed counter and send the top 5 cards of your deck to the grave, you gain 300 life for each card discarded this way, then draw 5 cards.

Revival of Tyrants: Speed spell - Activate only by removing all Speed counters you control. Special summon 1 monster with either King or Queen in it's name that was destroyed this turn to your side of the field. Destroy that monster at the end of your turn[/spoiler]

The young man hesitated. "I'll answer your questions in reverse. My name is Chris. Chris Muir. I'm from Asheville, North Carolina. I'm an American. And yes, I mean 'how do they make those monsters. Now I have a few questions of my own. What is a 'Duel Runner', what is 'Ener-D', what is an 'Egyptian God', where is 'the Satellite', and where is 'Neo Domino City'?" He sighed, groaning a bit before explaining. "Look, I know I sound stupid, but I honestly have no idea where I am. All I know is that a friend of mine, Daniel, wanted me to see something on his computer, only for this portal to appear out of his laptop, and suck me in. I fell, and then I woke up here, in these clothes and wearing this device." He showed his new friend the strange Duel Disk on his left arm.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! IT SEEMS I HAVE LOST" replied the utterly defeated duelist. Sliding to the ground with tears in his eyes. Tears full of hate, pain,and with all hope lost of avenging his family, he asks the stranger 3 questions."Can you at least tell me your affiliation ?, are you gonna take my cards ?, and are you gonna kill me ?

[Immortal Chaos]

Roland hit a button on his handles that stopped the runner as he looked to Aj. A smile crossed his face as he spoke. "No need to cry, you gave it a very good fight. My name is Roland, Im neither a member of the resistance, nor am I a dark order lacky, Im my own duelist. As for your card, no I wont take them, and I wont kill you. Remember you put up a good fight, and you will lose every now and then, but take the losses in stride. We may meet up again kiddo, I'll be waiting to see how much stronger you get." ANd with that Roland revved his engine and winked to Aj, smile still on his face as he tossed Aj a card. "Think of this as a token of appreciation for the duel." And with that he sped off.

Leopold scratched his head. "Well, Chris, sorry to disappoint, but I'm not familiar with 'North Carolina' or 'American'. It looks like we're from two completely different places, huh?" Leopold walked around to the side of his Duel Runner under the pretense of fixing something up by the front, but he actually wanted to scrutinize the kid. He seemed innocent enough, and any Rebellion member would be hard-pressed to lie convincingly after almost being flattened. Weighing the odds in his head quickly, he decided that Rebellion or no Rebellion, it wouldn't hurt to play it out. "Well, to answer a couple of your questions, a Duel Runner is one of those motorized vehicles that almost crushed you. You're standing on the outskirts of Neo Domino City, and the Satellite is a nearby slum in the process of being rebuilt. That 'device' attached to your arm is a Duel Disk. It's used to generate the holograms you saw earlier. Based on the look on your face, I'm sure you have a million more questions to ask me. I would too. But first, do you want that ride into town or what?"

Staring at the duelist as he sped into the distance, he thought about how he would use his new card. "Wow a trap card. Damage Reflector. I will use this card. Thanks Roland" said the teen. Wiping the tears from his face, the duelist hops on his Duel Runner and heads to his fave Cafe in the city.
