YCM Club War - Force of Absolution [OOC]

Nickname/Title: Hatcher

Appearance:

A rather charming-looking young lady, slim in build and flat in chest, she typically wears short skirts and other types of clothing she insists aren't for fanservice, but rather for ease of motion. She appears to be rather young but is in fact older then her deceptively young appearance would imply. She has a short bob haircut, with a few strands of hair ending with a dark black at the tip. She has four small scars on her cheeks, a little below the bottom of her eyes and the outside of her face. She typically harbors a bored and disinterested look upon her thin face, which has been said to sometimes house a smile.

In this particular RP, she wears what looks like a school girl's uniform. A short yellow skirt, a white short sleeve blouse with a yellow tie, and a yellow sweater vest, along with a pair of mary janes and white, knee-ankle length socks.

Bio:

She used to be an important and significant figure in a neighbouring nation, until she traveled to the TCG section of the kingdom of YCM along with friends and family. Sharing your thought an apparently bannable offense, she was struck in the face with a rather powerful banhammer. Though her body was broken in every way you can imagine one can be be broken and a few yet to be invented ways, her heart continued beating, albeit weakly. A few rallied for her cause and she was eventually resuscitated. She continued being an important prescence within the TCG section after her revival, until she was eventually rewarded with her very own banhammer.

For the most part, she speaks little about her past for her own personal reasons.

Weapons:

- HER OWN FISTS! THE GREATEST WEAPONS THERE EVER WERE!

- A banhammer. It looks like a regular claw hammer, like one you'd buy from any random hardware store. A legendary weapon among the kingdom of YCM, only a selected hand few are chosen to wield it. It is an instant kill weapon, however it has a very short range. Her opponent would have to be at arms length in order for a kill to be instantaneous. For long range, if it swings at an opponent, their warn level goes up. Warn Level increases by ten points, and once it reaches ten the opponent is instantly killed.

She is very unlikely to ever use this in a battle unless pushed into a corner.

Abilities:

It is heavily implied having a banhammer has a lot more abilities then she lets on.

- Ability to decrease warn-levels (healing)

- Ability to see warn levels and warn percents (in some kind of an aura-type thing)

- Entrance into much more restricted areas and instantly able to lock and unlock things.

But this is mostly rumours and hearsay among members, and mod-only info for the mods so as to what level this is accurate is anyone's guess.

- Lightning Manipulation - She draws a breath and is capable of channeling it into bursts of energy. In her case, she prefers the precision and power of Lightning Bending. It is not-at-all-subtlety implied she can do more then this, she just chooses to do only this.

- Card Dealing - A peculiar maneuver she learned while training in the TCG section. In a fight, she is capable of using spell and trap cards from the "popular" Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card Game as though the combatants were duel monsters in a duel. The time it takes for this to work is entirely dependent on the card's banlist placement for no good reason.

Unlimited spells and traps: She can use one every 3 posts. (Example: If she uses one on this post, she must wait for three more posts to pass, hers included, and she would able to use an s/t on the fourth.)

Semi-Limited: Once every six posts after she's used her last card. This does not stack with the above. (Example: If she uses an unlimited card this turn, she must wait for 6 posts, and use the semi-limited card on the 7th. If she uses an unlimited card on the 4th turn, she must continue waiting and post a semi-limited on the 11th.)

Limited: Similar rules as above, except only once every 9 posts.

Forbidden: Similar rules, however the biggest exception is that it has to be 12 of her own posts since the last time she used a card, not 12 of everybody else's.

Also, none of the above stack. If she decides it's time to use a card after 27 posts, she does NOT have the choice between 9 unlimited, 4 semi-limited, or 3 limited. She can only do one of the above, and then the post count resets.

Faction: The Fire Nation

Limit Break: N/A.

Though her TCG ability is rather broken if you think about it for just the slightest bit, I obviously won't go the stupid broken route since I prefer RPing for fun rather then to win. Though I won't shy away from the stupid broken route if other people are doing it. =\

Okay for one thing a claw hammer is not a arm's length so the warn thing is invisible and thus kinda unblock-able.

Not to mention insta kills tend to always be kinda broken irregardless of range.

Plus if it is instadeath how did your character survive it?

.... This RP is based on real life YCM stuff, right? Banning = "killing".

And being banned within a week or two of joining was something that happened to me. >_>

And banning people is something I can do. <_<

As for reviving:

I can address the dying part for the AP side.

I'll be setting up Save Points at random locations throughout the RP. Find one, Save your data and move on. When/if you die you will be returned to your last save point.

For the Treehouse, come up with your own flippin idea.

Moral of reply: If you die, wait a few posts then your back.

For the most part though, the character is mostly docile and wouldn't suddenly start insta-killing everyone the moment they met.

... tl;dr - I'd like a second opinion, I suppose. o_0

It's the idea of someone having a banhammer that gets people to go, "OH s*** OP!"

See, so regardless of whether your character is docile or not, my character wouldn't want to get within a few miles of her.

Even though he technically houses the spirits of several elder dragons and a whole bunch of other s***.

On-topic: It's not something she flashes about often, and she'd just short of never use it outside of a Deus Ex Machina.

Though if it's really such a bother, how about her hammer gets lost at some point in time? Her minor subplot is trying to find it, and she presumably finds it at the grand finale/whenever Pinkie or Roxas or the other guy say it's okay. Is that acceptable?

I think it's something like making said card effects actually appear in actuality. So for instance, say someone uses their strongest attack. She uses Magic Cylinder and throws it right back at them. Or say she uses a powerful attack and it is somehow redirected back at her. She uses Barrel Behind the door, which would manifest as a gun in her hand that sucks the attack in before being fired from the barrel. Stuff like that, I think.

Or am I wrong?

Like... that episode when they were in Kaiba's video game (the episode. Not the season.) Mai activates Rose Whip and she has a whip in her hand. Yugi (tries to) activate Dark Hole and the hundred thousand monsters nearly get sucked up. Someone activates Trap Hole, a huge hole appears. Stuff like that.

... On an unrelated note, could the hammer be the item used for the Moon Treehouse people to revive themselves? It can ban... and unban people. Pika, a Fire Nation person, hates the Powerforce People for beating the Fire Nation. She also hates the Moon Treehouse people for stealing her hammer. So she reluctantly joins Moonside to presumably get her hammer back which she will if and when the Mooninites win the war.

If the warn thing was like a laser blast so you can dodge or block it that's okay.

Fire nation means your from an old nation that had it's ass handed to them awhile ago.

It is an instant kill weapon, however like any average hardware store hammer, it has a very small range. Her opponent would have to be at arms length in order for a kill to be instantaneous. It has a long range attack, shooting lolmagic nails ( The kind you hammer into, obviously. Not like... press on nails. >_> ) with a swipe of the hammer. If a nail hits, it's increases warn level by 1. If your warn level reaches ten, you auto die. Warn level goes down with time.

She is very unlikely to ever use her hammer, ever, in a battle unless pushed into a corner.
