Darkest Hour
Sky Scourge Vespair DARK Level 8 ATK/2400 DEF/1500 [Fiend/Effect] This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 5 DARK Fiend-type Monsters and 5 LIGHT fairy-type Monsters in your Graveyard from play and sending all cards you control to the graveyard. This card is also treated as a LIGHT Fairy-type monster. This card gains the effect(s) of any two monsters that were removed from play when this card was Special Summoned. You can only have 1 "Sky Scourge Vespair" in your deck. Possible fodder for effects: Splendid Venus - Reduce all non-fairy monster's ATK and DEF by 500 and prevent your Spells and Traps from being negated. Sky Scourge Enrise - Remove from play 1 face-up monster on the field and drop your ability to attack that turn. Sky Scourge Norleras - Send all cards on the field and the hand(s) to the Graveyard and then draw 1 card. Demise, King of Armageddon - Nuke the everything else on the field for 2000 Life Points. The Wicked Dreadroot - Halve the ATK and DEF of all other monsters on the field. Darkness Destroyer - Attack twice and inflict piercing damage. Armityle the Chaos Phantom - Gain 10,000 ATK and avoid being destroyed by battle. Airknight Parshath - Inflict piercing damage and draw cards everytime you inflict battle damage. Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler and/or Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler. This card will take a lot of dedication to use, due to the fact that you have to remove from play 10 specific cards from your Graveyard from play 5 each of LIGHT fairies, and 5 each of DARK fiends. Filling up the field with garbage monsters like Giant Germ and Kuriboh will not be a good payoff, and dumping LIGHT Fairy monsters into the graveyard that gain you no definite ground will not benefit you either. Even with the field wipe, if your opponent can destroy this in some manner, then you would have lost your entire field and a ton of cards in your Graveyard for nothing. But think about how much power you would have if this happens to somehow work. You could select a Demise, King of Armageddon and an Armityle, The Chaos Phantom, and then after wiping your opponent's field you could hit them for 12,400 damage. You could combine the effects of Airknight Parshath and Athena to Special Summon fairies from your Graveyard while also beating the opponent down and drawing cards. You can use this card with Honest and Freya the Spirit of Victory as well. My only gripe with this card is that it's too easy to destroy if you don't use the right monsters with it's effect. * This card does not gain effects that are only gained via Tribute/Normal Summoning, or that activate upon Summoning, since the first thing this card's effect dictates that it gains the effects of the selected monsters. * You can only have 1 "Sky Scourge Vespair", means only ONE in your deck, regardless of what the banlist says. You cannot put 3 Vespair in your deck, and you cannot side in multiple copies into your deck. You can only start a duel/match with 1 copy in your deck. * If this card gains an effect that allows it to be Special Summoned, it will not be Special Summoned due to it's original Summoning conditions. * This card counts as a LIGHT Fairy and a DARK Fiend, meaning it counts as separate monsters for other Sky Scourge effects or the effects of monsters like Dark Necrofear, Raviel Lord of Phantasm and The Envoys. MibeR
Better this card some at around 15-25 turns. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. El-Rrey
Maybe 3 of each? 5 of each seems to be rather much. Link to comment
Mehmani
Vespairsworn. Dump Armitroll with Gale Dogra. Remove Demise and Armitroll. Nuke field and attack for gaem. Link to comment
Darkest Hour
Yup, pretty much the best choices for this card are Demise and Armityle, no matter what. I could suggest Darkness Destroyer and Armityle (hit for 24800 with or without honest) , but then the opponent's cards could get in the way... I can only think that 3 Df's and 3 Lf's is not a very good idea due to the fact that it's very easy to do. 4 and 4 seems a bit okay, and 5 and 5 seems difficult but balanced. If it's going to have an effect like this then it should not be very easy to get out unless you devote some actual effort into it, although giant germs, kuribohs and mystical shine balls could just fill the graveyard....but then again that means you would have to actually run those cards.
