In the middle of the room were two people...and at the top chair, sat a man, a warrior, but the warrior was not acting like a warrior should. Sario's dragon-eyes kicked in, He scanned th figure and saw every dark presense inside of the man. In the Shrine:The dark being laughed gaudily at Gearfried as he spoke to him. "You thought you had everything figured out, didn't you old friend?" he said to him. "Your mage was right though...holding this sword HAS recovered my memories..." A dark aura began to radiate from the sword and engulf his body. "But, unfortunately for you...I'm not the warrior you thought I was!" The dark energy around him started to solidify, turning into ebony armor, with silver colored spikes all over. His body mass started growing, and eventually he became twice his normal size. "DARKNESS OF THE ABYSS, GRANT ME BLACK WINGS SO I MAY TERRORIZE THIS LAND!" Large, armored wings sprouted from the back of his armor, almost scratching the ceiling of the shrine. "NOW, GRANT ME ANOTHER SWORD, TO DESTROY ALL WHO STAND IN MY WAY!!" Another sword, identical to the one in his right hand, formed out of the darkness in his left. He brandished his swords, laughing maniacally, pleased with his new power. dark_magician_girl Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 *Reciou had disappeared within the shrine for quite some time now, and had been cloaked with invisibility to hid her from the others and Dex. After witnessing him killing Rhaz, listening in on the conversation between him and the others, and his transformation to a greater threat to innocent lives, she decided that she needed to take action. At the last minute, without thinking, she charged at Dex only becoming visible just as she was about to collide with him. She closed her eyes as she gripped onto him tightly, clenching her fingers onto the armor in order to keep her grip long enough. And in a flash she teleported Dex and herself to the "Bosho no Rei" or Graveyard of Souls, hidden away within the true and original Abyss, where he could not escape and hurt anymore innocent people. After they had arrived, she backed away from him a little as she silently looked up at him wondering what he would try to do next. She knew he couldnt escape through the barrier, not without her consciously letting him through it. She expected him to kill her, assuming that his rage would take hold of him and forever trap him within the confines of the forbidden graveyard that only she was allowed to enter and exit upon her wishing. Hazel had been left behind, confused and scared he peered up at Gearfried from behind and old shield on the floor of the shrine. He thought his time came. Then, from out of nowhere, he saw a Spellcaster that looked familiar. She latched onto Dex & both of them vanished with no trace of them left behind. It went by so fast. "What just happened? For a second there, Dex became a monster & then next thing you know, poof he's gone.", said CytoGuanine. "Someone just came out of nowhere, latched onto Dex, & poof; they're gone. But who was it?", said AdeUracil. Gearfried was thinking the same thing. Then, from the corner of his eye, he noticed someone familiar. "I think I know who it was. And, I think I know who this little one is." He went towards what he saw & found it. YOU THINK YOU CAN TRAP ME IN THIS BARRIER!?" He laughed evilly, but was cut short suddenly, and then dropped onto one knee. "GRR! WHAT IS HAPPENING??" The dark energy forming his armor began to dissipate. His body shrunk down to its normal size, and both of his swords disappeared into thin air. He collapsed face-down on the ground, seemingly out of energy. "Wha....What happened?" He tried to push himself up, but immediately fell back down. He looked up at Reciou, and reached his hand out toward her. "Re-Reciou? Is that really you?" His voice sounded weak, and he felt like he had been starving for weeks. "Please.....help me....." he said, then eventually passed out from exhaustion. Back with Axel: Axel stepped through the flap of the tent he was placed in, ready to face whatever came his way. He opened his eyes slowly, and was startled by what he saw; an entire tribe of nothing but women. Okay, either I'm dreaming or I'm already dead... he thought to himself. In the center of the crowd, an old woman, most likely the village's elder, stepped forward in front of everyone else and greeted Axel. "Welcome stranger, I see your wounds are healing quite well..." she said to him in a raspy, yet calming voice. Axel gazed at her surprisingly, not expecting her to speak his language. He cleared his throat, and took a bow before the old lady. "I thank you for your treatment and hospitality..." he said sincerely, and rose from his bow. "...My name is Axel Crimson. I am a traveling wizard, but I ran into some trouble in the forest." The elder nodded. "I guessed as much. When you were found, you had almost succumbed to death. But my warriors are very skilled in devenomization and first aid." Axel was very surprised now. He originally thought that these people were very primitive, yet they seemed to be very knowledgeable. "If I may ask..." Axel said kindly, "...where were my items and my staff taken?" The elder smiled and waved to someone in the crowd, signaling them to come forward. The blond woman that Axel saw before stepped forward, still blushing slightly. "Tanya took them to a safe place, and she'll be glad to show you the way..." Tanya walked over to Axel, and motioned for him to follow her to a different tent. Axel followed, but felt very uneasy about all the other women, seeming somewhat awry about him being there. You mind telling me what's going on? This is so confusing. Xain spoke quietly. "I..I don't really know. If that over there was Hazel...then the person who disappeared with Dex must have been Reciou.." Hey, isn't she that one girl that I tried to kill a long time ago? "Yeah. And why did you try to anyway?" Because I wanted to. I was going to kill all of your friends, starting with her. She seemed like the weakest, other than those three Ojama freaks. dark_magician_girl Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 *She turned away from the alleged Dex smugly knowing that he couldnt escape and that if he killed her then he'd never get out. As Dex realized his power began to drain, she turned to look at him seeming somewhat surprised that his power was draining away so quickly. She looked down at him as he reached out for her but instead of moving towards him to help, she backed away as if terrified by him. Her eyes widened as he called her name, she assumed that he was the real Dex and slowly edged back up to him and knelt on the ground beside him. Her assuming that he needed nourishment, looked around for some food and maybe some water. Her then remembering the tree she ate from the other day had lots of fruit on it and that there was a river nearby. She stood up and took off quickly toward the tree, her being careful to not step on any of the graves along side her. As she reached the barrier she ran through it, stopping immediately afterward to gaze upon the huge tree. She could see a bunch of fruit on a nearby branch and climbed up the tree to pick it all. After a few moments, she edged back down the tree with an armful of the ripe and sweet fruits.* "I wonder if I have any of my bowls left in the graveyard... I should go look for some..." She thought hurriedly to herself. *Continuing on into the barrier once more, she ran toward the front of the graveyard where she often slept in one of the old hollowed out huge dens. She looked around at the entrance and grabbed two deep bowls before turning and running back toward Dex. She tossed a bowl down and dropped the fruits into it, soon after taking off for the riverside for water. It took her a little while to reach the riverside and once she did, she dipped the bowl into the water almost filling it to the brim. She thought it was best if she teleported with the water rather than trying to run with it and spilling it all. A few seconds later, she appeared next to Dex with the water and set it on the ground beside her so that she could try and wake him. She nudged Dex lightly on the arm in attempt to wake him, her hoping that he would even wake. Even though she was still slightly afraid of him, she was determined to help him.* Back In Sogen:*Hazel happily sprung into the air and landed lightly onto Gearfried's shoulder as he looked at Gearfried curiously. He had noticed Xain and the mysterious person which made him keep close to Gearfried. He cautiously watched the new person and his dragon as if he were on guard like he did with Reciou. He growled lightly at Ino, seeming distressed by her presence.* OOC: This is the second time i have posted this very same exact post, good thing i keep an archive of the last 5 posts i made, i could just copy and paste! ^_^ for my hubby thought, he'll have to retype his, we both posted around 11am-12pm pacific time. if for any reason you guys see two of this same post in the rp lemme know and i'll delete the extra one.... i also recall anomu13 posting as well and his post has disappeared from the rp too. Careless Whisper Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 OOC: well I remember where I was at, my guy just explained what he saw in Dex was the same thing that was inside of himself, so he now realizes that Dex's memory is also tampered with. Then Sario gets a flash back of him as a young student playing along the shore of the Dark Lake Artarius, and falling and his father helping him up. A flash memory atleast, means his memory is slowly coming back to him...then Leon offers to come with Sario when he dicides to return to Artarius, but first reassest the situation... anyway, on to the RP from where I left off...************************ Sario's dragon shrank in size, and then faded into Sario's body...Sario then walked over to the small little creature...-"You better come with us too little fella." He said and stuck out his hand offering the small thing a place in his palm. "It's okay, my dragon will not bother you, I promise..." he continued noticing the creature's frightened look... His arm collapsed however, knocking the bowl over and spilling its contents. "Darn it!" he said in a raspy voice. He cursed himself for being so weak, although he didn't exactly know how his energy just left him. He could feel his body slowly starting to fall asleep from the lack of movement. I've heard worse than that, now on to your question. My name is Sario, I come from Artarius the Dark Lake. I wondered into here, I was not sure where I was, now I know where I am...And now I'm going back home, if your smart you'd come with me this place is no longer Sogen, this place is now an Abyss." Aside from that, I came to look for someone. he said he once had friends here so i thought he might show up. not sure if you know him, but he's a warrior/spellcaster with long blond hair. have you seen him around here?" Soon afterward, she began to pick up the fruit, keeping one of them in her hand. Slowly she edged over toward him before sitting on her knees and resting his head in her lap. She smiled down at him somewhat happily as she struggled slightly to snap the fruit in half. She held the fruit up to his mouth and waited for him to eat it. After a few seconds, she pulled the bowl of water on the ground closer to her with her free hand. Her soon afterward glancing back over to him to see how much he had eaten.* "I hope he gets better..." She thought to herself silently as she watched him. It tasted somewhat bitter to him, but it didn't bother him that much, considering how hungry he was. He lifted his hand and took the fruit from Reciou, holding it on his own as he continued eating it. He felt his energy being restored, as if she had picked some magic fruit of some sort. Being in a magical land, however, this did not seem uncommon. He picked his head up off of her lap and finished the fruit. He sat up slowly, still not feeling as well as normal, and looked over at Reciou. "Uhm....Thanks...." he said to her, his voice still kind of raspy. His eyes wandered, him not wanting her to see him blush. What am I doing? he thought to himself, Was I really that desperate for food? I should be more careful from now on... Back to Axel: He followed Tanya into a certain tent, located in the center of the village. Inside, he found his staff, intact, along with all of his other items. He looked over at Tanya, thanking her with a friendly smile. She acted surprised, and turned away before he could see her blush. Axel didn't mind though, he just started rubbing the back of his head before saying the first thing that came to his mind. "You know...its real cute the way you blush like that...." Okay, that was tacky, and inappropriate... he thought to himself immediately afterward. She looked over her shoulder at him, blushing even more, then took off running out to the tent. She watched him eat, the whole while her seeming content. After watching him finish the piece of fruit, she held the bowl of fruit up to him happily as if gesturing for him to take another. She smiled happily over at him as he thanked her, seeming happy just to see him and hear his voice again. She leaned over to see his face after he turned to hide his blushing, her seeming interested in what he was thinking about. They went after Sario. Gearfried walked towards Alan. "So, you know Neo. How has he been? It's been a while since I last had contact with him. He had thrown his bag onto Ino's saddle. -"I only invited you because it's not safe here, not with that person about. You can never tell where he is if he has that kind of power." Sario answered, he did not see Reciou at all so he thought that Dex teleported by himself. "And plus, I need to go back home, maybe it'll help me regain my memory. If you do not wish to go, then stay behind, but do not stay here, it's not safe. I will wait out here for several more minutes, all who wants to come with me might want to come out now. Go in and tell them that for me..." And he jumped up into the saddle. He felt like he lost something very dear to him, but he did not know what... With all do respect, he doesn't know anything; he lost his memories. Still, go forth; besides, I don't trust that guy. He's suspicious. Yes sir. I'll do as you command. "Alright, you are all welcome to stay but, as Sario said, you can follow him as well. Do whatever you please. As for I, I'll go back taking care of this place. Oh, and to answer your question Alan. I haven't heard from Neo for a long while. Also, the darkness came about when Dex grabbed his sword from the shrine. Apparently, it was suppose to regain his memeries but, it backfired. Ino noticed his movement right away, and she spread her wings while in her Tyrant Dragon form. -"Ready to..." he didn't finish because someone nehind him called out to him and told him to wait...
