After the Struggle

[Careless Whisper]

Seeing the new man appear made Sario un easy. Who was he? he thought, Where did e come from? He stayed still and stared at the new comer. Until he felt it was time to madde himself noticed. He started to move foward again, until he realised that he should wait, instead of seeming like it would be an ambush..So he waited for something interesting happened.

[Umbra]

Talon walked closer.

- I'm not here to hurt you, neither of you. I'm a mere messenger of the gods. The world is changing as we speak. We're all connected to it, somehow.

He spat at the ground.

- This land hasn't been the same since Ha Des, but it slowly changes back. Returning to it's former state. But dark forms change the land, altering it from the core.

[Careless Whisper]

At that, he knew the new comer was friendly, He was also in the war, just not that high ranked, he earned his 6th star after the war had ended. So he decided to move he rest of the way forward, until he reached where they were.

"So, you were also in the war.." He suddenly bursted out, making sure every word was loud and clear..

[Umbra]

Talon shook his head.

- That would be untrue. I was an observer, as I have no wish to fight. But yet, I worked against the Dark Lord. I gathered the harpies' council in the Hall of the Wind, and we talked for long of the Dark Lord and his consequences in the world.

[Careless Whisper]

"Yes, well you still witnessed it." Sario replied. "Don't worry, I'm not any threat to you..." And at that statement his dragon appeared in small form on his shoulder and flw to observe more closely at the girl. "And neither is he..." Sario added pointing at his dragon.. who was circling around girl.

*She pressed her back against Axel's somewhat frantically before swinging her wand at the dragon and knocking it off balance. Hazel, who had been growling at the dragon, wiggled his way out of her left arm and flew over to the dragon before latching onto it and biting its wing furiously. He jumped off the dragon as it hit the ground and flew back onto Reciou's shoulder glaring down at the dragon angrily. She pulled Hazel off of her shoulder and hugged him tightly as if saying thank you to him. Immediately afterward she waved her wand at the creature angrily as if warning it to stay back. Hazel continued to growl at the dragon from Reciou's arms, as if he knew she didnt like them at all. After a few moments, she tugged on Axel's cape while her back was still to his before looking up over at him almost as if she were waiting on his decision. She seemed somewhat frustrated by the situation, as she glared back at the dragon. Hazel in the meantime was trying to wiggle out of her arms so that he could attack the dragon again before it came back near Reciou.*

[Careless Whisper]

The dragon flew back to Sario, who was badly hurt somehow, he was kneeling down clutching his left side.."Sario, are you okay?" the dragon spoke...

"Yea, argh, alright, she onviously doesn't like you Ino, hide agin, and stay inside this time." Sario reported back. Then at the cammand, she faded back into his shoulder.

Sario, somehow badly hurt as if he was stabbed in his left side, coughed alittle.

[Element Guardian]

"What is that!?", said AdeUracil.

 

"Uhh... He doesn't look so tough.", said CyotGuanine hesitatedly.

 

"Alright, you two take care of that thing. I got Gromarg. But first, RELEASE RESTRAINT!", yelled out Gearfried.

 

A shockwave erupted, which caused him to release himself from his contained armor. Out of that shock wave was Gearfried in his full appearance. He took the blade that was attached to his armor and from that, he started to glow. "Alright, now, I'm ready."

[Megayanma]

"Shall I sir?" The Teched-Out Raptor asked, drawing a battle axe. "Of course, Draken," Gromarg replied. Gromarg charged toward the newly powered-up Gearfried, swinging his heavy sword with surprising speed and agility.

IC: Tyurn (Command Knight)

 

Tyurn walked the forest, searching for a long-lost friend, when suddenly, he saw a little fight going on. It was between Gearfried the Iron Knight and Gromarog. He put his hand on the hilt of his sword, grasped it, and pulled it out of his sheath. "What is going on here?" he said, with his sword in hand.

[Wicket]

Reign-Beaux stood on a large mountain, a massive think black fog hovering below. He saw a massive behemoth slumbering around the mountains. The Brigadier General of the Dark World Forces revealed a sinister smile as he slowly began to walk down the mountain.

 

"Hello, there, Gaius."

 

The massive beast turned around to look at him.

 

"Ready to have some fun?"

 

Reign-Beaux unsheathed his blade from his back and pointed it right at his head.

 

"Heh, that's where I'm going to make my first mark..........."

Axel was surprised as the two strangers made themselves known, and he shielded Reciou with his body. Soon afterward, learning that they meant no harm, he dropped his arms to his side and examined his guests. "That voice..." he said, looking at Talon, "...You're the one that spoke to me in my mind, aren't you?" But before Talon could answer his question, the other's dragon circled around him and Reciou, and was knocked out of the air and attacked by Hazel. Axel chuckled at the fact that the dragon was taken down by such a timid creature, but his expression soon changed to worry when he saw that the warrior with them collapsed on the ground. "What happened?" he asked, but realized what it was as the dragon entered the man's body. "I see....that dragon has not only an emotional connection, but a spiritual, or even physical connection as well!" He reached into his pouch and pulled out a bottle of red medicine. "I used the strong stuff for Reciou, but this should suffice...Drink it, it should help take the pain away..." he said, offering the medicine to Sario.

The smell of brimstone filled the air. Tiger walked along the red earth, cracks ran in all directions. His path led to the start of a vast range of mountains. The mountains were rust colored and jagged. A figure stood atop a spire protruding from the start of the ascent. The figure's cloak blended with the rock behind him. The eyeless gaze from beneath his hood followed Tiger as he approached.

The eyeless figure crouched down and said "Ah Tiger, back already?"

Tiger fixed a stern look upon the him. "Be silent Sammuel, I won't spill your blood unless I have too. Now where are your brothers?"

Sammuel leaned back a ways and laughed "So thats all you came for. Well Tiger." He fixed his eyeless gaze back. "My brothers have left. They left to go to war."

"War? When did a war start?" Tiger asked.

Sammuel laughed again. "If you would stay in one place more often perhaps you would find out." He then lifted his staff into the air. "Well I must be going as well. Don't die too soon" And then he vanished.

Gearfried too charged into Gromarg. The sound of blades contacted.

 

CytoGuanine pounced on Draken. "C'mon big guy, show me what you're made of.", said CytoGuanine.

*She looked up at Axel as he talked to the two other strangers. She began to back away from them unnoticed as she clutched onto Hazel tightly. After a few steps she turned and ran away from the two strangers and Axel as fast as she could, seeming still frightened by Talon and Sario. A few moments later, she stumbled out of the forest and fell on her right side dropping Hazel from her grip. Hazel bounced on the ground two or three times before springing into the air. She quickly picked herself up and grabbed Hazel from the air before dusting herself off. She looked at her now scuffed up and slightly cut open right arm that was already beginning to bruise and picked off some of the leaves stuck to it. Not too soon after she heard shouting and people running towards her. As she looked up she saw a Cybernetic Magician and two Breaker the Magical Warriors running toward her. She backed away slowly at first as she faced them before turning around and running away. She weaved along the edge of the forest line frantically as she held onto Hazel for dear life. Hazel cried out loudly as she kept her tight grip on him but didnt even try to wiggle out of her arms for fear of losing her to the chaos. She huffed for air frantically as she planned to dodge into the woods in hopes that they wouldnt follow.* "I can't believe they sent a Cybernetic Magician after me! I just wanna leave, I'm tired of them doing everything for me... They make me feel like a little kid..." *She tripped and fell just as she was about to dodge into the woods, this time falling onto her chest and squishing Hazel beneath her. The armored magicians were quickly approaching and were now only about 30 feet away from her. She picked herself up slowly as she could hear them approaching.* The Cybernetic Magician yelled to the other two, "Make sure the area is secure when we reach her! We're taking her back and we'll find the ones responsible for taking her away!" *She pushed herself over onto her butt as she sadly watched the magicians near her.*

Axel helped Sario with the medicine, then heard the sound of someone running behind him. He turned to look, and saw Reciou running away from them. "Hey, wait!!" he shouted, then quickly jumped to his feet and took off after her. He lost sight of her as she dodged in and out of the forest, but saw three other magicians chasing after her. "Was she running from them the whole time?" he asked himself. He tripped over a loose root on the ground, and fell face-first into the mud. He picked himself off, but saw no sign of any of the others anywhere around. "Damn....they're already gone...." he said. He then concentrated on trying to locate her by her energy signature. He eventually found her, as well as the other magicians, but then he felt another presence, nearing the whole group of them. It felt familiar, like it was...."No.....it can't be!!!"

 

As Reciou fell onto the ground, the Cyber Magician walked up to her, saying to her, "Milady! You shouldn't be so careless! Why, if something were to happen to you, the whole town would be in an uproar!" He knelt down and grabbed Reciou by her hand. "But don't worry, my men will find your captors and bring them to justice! Right men?" He turned to face his magical warriors, but was met by a horrifying sight; both of his men were slaughtered, killed silently right behind him. "Wha-? What happened??" He began to panic, and quickly stood up to defend himself. He looked around, trying to find who killed his soldiers. He turned towards the forest, thinking that his opponent would try to surprise him from there. Then, he heard a voice from behind him; a voice that made his entire soul shiver...."Thats a fatal mistake, my friend..." He was then impaled by a large kitana, and hoisted into the air, then tossed away into the open field. Reciou was then in the company of a tall nobleman, dressed in fancy a white outfit, with a red cape and an ornate golden hat. He looked down at her, with an alluring, almost hypnotic gaze, then spoke softly to her, "Do not worry, my dear....I will not let anyone harm you...."

 

Meanwhile, towards the village in Sogen:

 

Guards were posted on the newly built guard towers, overlooking an impressive outer wall, preventing any kind of threat from entering the town. Rahz, a field commander and captain of the guard, noticed someone approaching the town. He called down to Grepher, who was in charge while Gearfried was gone, "I'm telling you sir! It's him! It's gotta be! He looks just like the picture in the mural in the shrine!" Grepher climbed onto the tower to see for himself, and saw that Rahz was right. "By the gods!" he said, then called down to the gatekeepers, "OPEN THE GATES! OUR TRUE LEADER HAS RETURNED!!!"

[Umbra]

Talon nodded at Alex.

- Yes, I was the one that contacted you, sage. Your spirit attracted the will of the Hyure, and so it was interesting enough. I sense the presence of a great evil, and soon we shall-

Suddenly, he saw Reciou run away, and Alex turning to run after her. Both of them disappeared into the forest, until Talon could see neither of them. Talon looked after them, then shrugged and turned away.

- The dark approaches.

*She curled up into a ball, hiding her face between her knees and her chest. Her holding Hazel within protectively, her refusing to look up at the mysterious man. Hazel looked up at her curiously wondering what she was doing. After a few moments she looked up at the funny dressed man cautiously before backing away a little. She pushed herself up while holding onto Hazel tightly. Hazel soon after climbing onto her shoulder after she stood up straight. She looked around at the dead magicians silently before nudging one lightly with her hands to see if he was dead. She looked up and the funny dressed man as she knelt beside the dead magician before standing again. She seemed cautious of him, her watching his every move as she kept her distance from him. She observed him curiously, all the while wondering why he was dressed so funny. Hazel nuzzled against Reciou's face lightly before she patted him on the head once. She seemed a bit frightened by him and began to back away a little while facing him, her stopping after she took a few steps. Her then remembering about Axel, began looking around for him in hopes that he would emerge from the trees. She glanced back at the strange man and his funny clothes a few times to keep a watch on him. Not looking back now, she ran toward the forest line looking for Axel as Hazel floated along behind her scavenging for him as well.* "That was a funny looking man... I wonder if Axel followed me out of the woods..."

[Careless Whisper]

After realising what has been going on, Sario stood up. His dragon reappeared from his shoulder. "Sario, I don't think that girl likes dragons, and neither does that little creature." Ino exclaimed, still painfully.

"Gee, what makes you say that? You okay, your wing is damaged, maybe you should rest." He replied back to her. He scooped Ino into his hand and gently petted the wing joint with his first finger. "You have to be more careful Ino." Sario looked up at Talon. "So, who are you by the way..?"

[Umbra]

Talon smiled.

- How inpolite of me. The name's Talon Windseer, mage of the Mountains and messenger of the Hyureboard.

He walked over to Sario.

- And what was your name again?

[Careless Whisper]

"The name is Sario Ojima, a warrior from the far south, from the the Dark Lake, Artarius." Sario began, still rbbing Ino's wing joint, "My dragon here, her name is Ino, sense she has a spiritual and mental connection with me, I feel the same thing as her, as you just witnessed." He finished his sentence with a sigh of releaf, his dragon went to sleep in his palm. Curled up in his palm, Ino took on the shape of a small decoy dragon. "Though she's small right now, when she fights with me, she instantly grows the size of a Blue Eyes. We should probably start looking for those other two, I sense danger has come near" His dragon sank back into him and he started to walk toward the direction the girl and Axel ran off to, he clutched his side as it still pained him

Draken swung, but missed the fast CytoGuanine. He swung again, this time faster, and missed yet again.

 

Meanwhile, Gromarg was in the same pushing match as earlier, but he had underestimated Gearfried. The two seemed to have an even strength level.

After an hour's walk, Sario stopped to rest against a tree, he and Talon did not speak to each other during the walk, he clutched his side alittle harder. Walking only made it feel worse. He reached a hand into his jacket pocket and pulled out a small ring. The ring was made of elegant gold, and the gem stone was Garnet, and there was an engraving of a very foreign symbole on the gem. He put it on his right middle finger.

He lifted his head to see Talon resting against another tree. It was nearly night time, and Sario felt very sleepy, he had been traveling all day and all the past night. He rested his head against the tree bark and closed his eyes.
