After the Struggle

*She changed into her dry clothes, her leaving the wet ones on the floor as she happily made her way down the stairs. She thought she heard talking as she came down the stairs but only found Dex at the bottom. She shrugged it off as she happily grabbed his hand again before teleporting them to the border of Sogen and the Abyss. She smiled up at him happily before walking on ahead back towards the forest line where she had left Axel. She seemed like she was interested in finding Axel and stopped every so often to look back at Dex and wait for him to catch up. Swinging her wand around happily, she seemed content as she walked along the forest line. After a few moments, she stopped and waited for him to catch up to her again before smiling back up at him happily. She looked down at the ground seeming more serious and was not still as could be.* "Dex..." She said lowly and seriously. *Immediately after she said his name, her face flushed red before she turned and ran off. She sounded like she had something very important to say but was too shy to say it. She ran alongside the forest line for a little bit before stopping out of no where. She recognized the area, it was where Axel had been before she left him. She stood there silently as she thought about where he could have run off to, her noticing Dex's footsteps catching up to her.*

[Darkhound]

Chirox looked down from his position high on the rocks. He didnt see anyone although he could feel the pressence of people nearby. Chirox clutched his sword before turning and continuing to walk. He gritted his teeth as he noticed something up ahead. His sword was still clutched in his hand which he was ready to use if needed. Chirox's eyes turned a darker shade of red as he walked forwards. When he reached the spot on which his enemy was meant to rest, he noticed they had already disappeared. To where he didnt know, but he continued towards his destination instead.

OOC: Sorry I haven't been posting for awhile. The affects of Spring Break got to me. Now that my break is over, back to where I am.

 

Sogen:

 

The battle waged on between Gearfried & the Statue. He noticed from the corner of his eye a being going after Alan. "Watch out!", shouted Gearfried. Luckily, Alan dodged the sneek attack before it came into contact. After he heard what Alan had to say, Gearfried was confident that Alan can handle the unknown being on his own. "Alright Alan. Be careful. That fiend you are dealing with, I've heard of him before. He's dangerous. So careful with him." Those were his final words before he regained his battle between the Statue.

Artarius:

 

AdeUracil & CytoGuanine were being silent for along time. The reason for that is because the repect the dead. A moment of silence to respect the dead; to all the people of Altarius. "C'mon let's catch-up with the rest of the guys.", said AdeUracil. CytoGuanine nodded in agreement. They both returned with the Sario & Leon. With their new discovery, there was a new companion Sario & Leon. "Oh, hello, I believe we have not met. So, how were you ever to find this place?"

Xain looked up at the statue and Gearfried. The Mask of Brutality gave enough power to him to make him not feel his own life being pulled out. He pulled the staff off of his back and sent energy through it.

 

"....Dark Magic Attack!"

 

The blast cracked the statue's back, but it didn't stop fighting Gearfried. He put the staff back. Once again, he used his power to cover himself in flames. He held his arm up.

 

"Final Flame!"

 

The flames burst out of his hand and hit the statue with great force.

OOC: Okay, I'm impatient...

 

Anomu floated away from Freed, who was still staring and observing the picture in the ancient book, and trying very hard to read the text below it. But the text was so old, that he couldn't recognize it. Anomu returned with another book. "This book might tell you more about that picture, we have books here that describe every page in the Book of Sound in more detail." And Anomu handed the smaller, green book to Freed.

 

Sario:

Sario kept staring at the pendant shard, he was wondering why this particular Twilight Medallion was so different from all the others he had seen in battle. But he was also pondering about how he remembered so much about these things.

-"I may be wierd, "Sari began, after a few moments of thinking very hard, "I think this pendnt was placed here by my father's spirit. I think he wanted me to wear it, but I don't think he intended it to do what it did. So he must have broke it. I think this, because I remember only one thing about my father, he was the first Shakari to ever learn the Sound Magic. And this pendant seems to be infused with SOund Magic" Sario finished.

[Darkhound]

Chirox walked across the long flurishing forest. His eyes abruptly turned to the left as he noticed a Battle Ox come charging at him with its axe. He dodged to the side and attacked with his now red glowing sword. The battle Ox fell to the ground and Chirox looked up, then he continued walking. His eyes glanned around to see if there was anything he should see before he continued walking around the next corner of the forest. As he looked left, he could still see the cave he had started in, he had a long way to go yet. He cut down the tree infront of him, clearing a path forwards. Others he had once known thought him a hero, they thought he was on their side: They had alot to learn about him. Chirox made his way out of the forest and came face to face with one Gearfried fighting a large statue. Puzzled he decided to just watch, no one would notice him for a while.

OOC: i think 8 posts later aught to do it. kinda wish rowan would move us along with the statue thing though. and alan's battle with the new enemy.

 

freed looked through the books, which though written in a different langue at first glance seemed to magicly shift to english. but then he saw it. in what appeared to be a history book or log of shakari ledgends was a page that troubled him. he looked to make sure anomu wasn't paying atention to him and quickly ripped the page out, leaving no remains of what he had done, and stowed it away. then he continued on with his study, as though nothing had happened.

Anomu grabbed another book and flipped it open, it was a very small, black book, with a string hanging out of the spine. His eyes were transfixed for a few moments then he handed the book to Freed. "Notice anything particular about the pages in this book?" He asked as he watched Freed open the book. To Freed's amazement, the pages were all blank. "That book has been in my possesion sense Sario was born. It is his diary." He added, as Freed flipped through each page, which all were blank, as is was the expression on his face..

 

OOC: Rowan might be very busy, so I'm not sure when he'll be on next time.

OOC: I'm very sorry for double posting again, but I don't want this RP to come to a close, not when I have a huge plan on what to do. Oh and flash-backs are typed in Italiks. Not sure how to spell it.

 

Sario sat looking at the broken shard of the Twilight Medallion. He noticed an engraved symbole on the back of the crystal. He had recognized the symbole, the same symbole engraved on the stone on his ring. He could read the symbole. He read it out loud, thinking that Leon couldn't hear him.

-"Till Death." he read calmly. He did not understand what it meant. Until his memory flashed again, this time was even more intense.

 

His vision came to that of a church. In every seat there sat very happy men and women in White Dress Robes. At the alter stood a very old man in a Pope outfit holding a book in one hand, and two rings in the other. Both rings' keystones had the engraved symbole "Till Death."

And waiting in a very bright dress, and radiating a very sweet twilight aura, stood a very eautiful woman. And at the entrance of the church, stood himself. Wearing a fancy black Long-Jacket, his dark blond hair groomed handsomely. He looked directly at the woman up at the alter, smiling at her as he began to walk slowly towards her.

When he reached her, she held out her hand, andhe held out his. They grasped each other's hands and looked each other straight in the eyes. Smiling, and then the pope spoke.

-"Dearly Beloved, we have gathered here today. To witness to marriage between, Mr. Sario Altey Ojima, and Ms. Cydonia Frery Kleina. Before we begin, is there anyone in the building who bid these two not be wed?" No one spoke. "Then, do you, Sario Ojima, take, Cydonia Kleina, do be your wife in sickness and in health, forever in eternity till death do you part?"

-"I do." Sario said aloud, still not taking his eyes off of Cydonia, who was clearly his soon to be wife.

-"And do you, Cydonia Kleina, take, Sario Ojima, to be your husband, in sickness and in health, forever in eternity, will death do you part?"

-"I do." Cydonia's voise was soft, fluent, fresh, and sweet sounding.

-"Then, may I pronounce you, Mr. and Mrs. Ojima." He turned toward Sario, and gave him the rings held in his hand. Sario took on of the rings with his free hand, and placed onto one of Cydonia's fingers. It glowed slightly. Then Cydonia placed the other ring onto Sario's hand, it glowed slightly as well. The usher spoke again. "You may kiss, the bride." And Sario did. And as they kissed, their rings began to glow alot brighter. Then, his vision swayed away from the vision. And into reality.

 

Sario woke up in the same spot, the AdeCemine creatures were fast asleep. And Leon was twiddling with something with his hand, until he noticed that Sario had woken up. Sario finally understood what "Till Death." meant, it was a promise. A promise that he must keep. His ring began to glow slightly.

"strange. all the pages are blank. what does it mean?" he asked although he already had an idea of what the response would be.

"Maybe, if you learn the the most basic of porperties of a Shakari, you might be able to understand it." Anomu stared at Freed, then his eyes changed, from black, to a Silver with a golden trim, and what looked to be black cross-hairs form as his pupils

"I'm guessing it has something to do with his memory loss. Am i correct?"

[Careless Whisper]

"Actually, it has something to do, with him and his wife. The contents of this book, are written in a special type of ink, one that cannot be used by Mortal nor Semi-Mortal hands. It is written by, the Angels. This book, is an entire log of the beginning of Sario's marriage with Cydonia, to the this very second." He addedm and Freed noticed the book slightly getting denser. "Only those who use the eyes of the Shakari can read the text written in that book."

With Reciou:

 

He seemed puzzled at Reciou's unusual burst of excitement. He followed her throught the forest, not quite sure what it was she seemed to be looking for. "Uhm, hey....what, or who, are you looking for?" he asked her. Barely able to keep up as she weaved in and out of the tree line, he eventually met up with her in a small clearing. He looked around, and noticed a trace of dried-up blood on a patch of grass. He knelt down and examined it, and his eyes flashed an eerie violet color. "A spellcaster....skilled in the dark arts..." he said lightly, and his eyes returned to their normal color. He stood up and looked around curiously. "Someone's approaching..." he said to Reciou, "...but who?"

 

Back to Axel:

 

"Wait a minute....I have to WHAT???" Axel was stunned at what the elder had just told him, whose old face had changed from a scowl to a sly grin. "That's right..." she said in response, "...you are to marry Tanya." Now Axel understood why the rest of the tribe was so upset with him; they ALL wanted to marry him. The elder explained that, since Axel was saved by one of the tribe members, he was to marry one of his choice. Apparantly, Axel had chose Tanya unintentionally. He could see Tanya behind the crowd of Amazons, blushing and glancing at him nervously. "How do I get myself into these situations?" he asked himself, almost crying because of his long day.

 

At the village:

 

The colossus was still standing, and still fighting with Gearfried. Grepher had also joined the fray, his dark side in complete control, swinging his sword violently at Alan. Lithmus had joined Belphegor on a nearby rooftop, watching the battle intently. "When do you think this will end?" Belphegor asked impatiently. "Calm yourself, dear friend..." Lithmus replied, "...We'll see how this ends soon enough. If Gearfried does manage to defeat your golem, then I'll just cook up another minion to face him." He smiled slyly at his last comment. "Of course, I could just kill him myself.....hehe..."

[Umbra]

Talon looked at the colossus on the other side of the village, then lifted off the ground and flew towards it. He felt that the three spirits inside him - Yata-Garasu, Fushi No Tori, and his own - were conflicting. Talon had only once before manifested two spirits, and it did not feel good. On his way, Talon saw two people standing on a rooftop. He didn't bother much, the colossus was important. He was levitating about three hundred feet above the ground, looking at the colossus' head. The spirits inside him were trembling, and Talon decided to use it to his advantage. He stretched out his right hand towards the colossus, who was focused at Gearfried.

- Gods of the Hyure, I beg your attention. Release the spirits from my body, and Force them into this Construct's Meckanism!

The heads of Yata Garasu and Fushi No Tori appeared at Talon's fingertips, with strings of dark and red energy in his palm. Then, he released the spirits.

 

A dark and red meteor emerged from Talon's hand, crashing into the metal of the colossus' head. Talon felt dizzy, and passed out. He started to fall.

Alan continued to dodge and attack as the warrior swung at him. "don't you ever give up, Woah!" as he had started to attack, the warrior had parried his strike and sent him flying back. "oh now your in for it." he stroked his medalion and it started to glow. "Now! Stop!" in under a second Alan had vanished, with out a trace, and re appeared behind Grepher, kicking him down and away. only for some reason, no one saw Alan move a inch between places nor where there traces of a portal like what spellcasters use. it was as if he moved faster than time itself...

 

with anomu: freed sighed and looked disapointedly at anomu, "i see, but unfortunatly i was not given those eyes."

Anomu:

"You cannot say that, all warriors and spellcasters alike are able to obtain this ability." Anomu continued. "But, that book is not for your eyes anyway. You are to bring Sario here. I have something very important to tell him." Anomu ordered and pointed in Sario's general direction.

 

Sario:

Sario stood up, he was restless, his injuries were healed, and he was ready to get on the move, to explore the rest of the city. But he looked down at the AdeCemine people and Leon, they were all falling asleep, so he decided to wait til they had gotton their rest.

Xain ran away from the statue and went under some trees. He fell and his eyes started closing. He did his best to keep them open, but he was too weak. The mask was becoming tighter and taking his life. Blood was pouring out of his mouth and slowly dripped down his neck. The blood dripped onto the ground, making a large puddle. Xain coughed and closed his eyes.

OOC: Due to the Internet not connecting in my house, I am unable to continue RP. So, with that in mind, you are able to use my characters but, use them right. I'll be checking up on here & then. Not only that but I will be very busy as well. SOrry that I haven't replied sooner & sorry for the trouble.

Sario decided that he couldn't wait. So he got up and walked back toward the church.

When he reached the door, he looked down at the handle, to make sure nothing was there, which he found nothing. He stepped inside and looked at the dead girl hung up againt the wall. He walked towards her, and laid his hand on her lifeless one.

-"My wife, I can't believe it, how could this happen?" He asked, he knew that no one would answer. He rubbed her dead hand for alittle while before he realised something. He took her hand and examined it.

Her wedding ring was gone. He looked at his ring, it did not shine, not even reflect the light inside the church. He pondered this, as he checked her other hand and found nothing there either. "Her ring, where is it?" He asked in thought.

He heard something behind him. He turned around and Leon standing in the doorway, but he was not alone, the unknown warrior was also there.

freed stood in the door way with his hood down and his eyes fixed on sario."I see you've awakened," he looked at the dead girl and remembered anomu's words. "come, there is some one you need to see."

[Careless Whisper]

Sario looked at thw warrior and nodded.

-"Alright, uhm, I'm sorry for what I might have done. I know that sher power isn't everything." He said as he then looked down, he followed the warrior to a ruined building.

 

When they entered the Librayr, Sario looked around for a minute, he then stared into the center of the room. There he could see the Spirit of his own father, bending over the large book. His father turned around and looked Sario in the eyes.

-"Sario, I have something for you. And it's time for your final lesson." Anomu said before anyone could speak.

-"Yes, father." And Sario walked forward, where Anomu held out a small black book, Sario opened it and saw nothing but blank sheets of paper. "Father, I don't understand, where is the text?"

-"That book is written with the Angel's Ink, you have to look at it differently, if you know what I mean." Sario instantly understood. His eyes then changed colors, to silver with a golden trim. Sario's vision became very sharp, and words began appear in the book. In plain english. And he read the first page aloud.

"'All that we do, echoes in Eternity.' So, this is a personal history diary. Correct?" Sario asked, but only to find Anomu's blank face, so he read more. "'Sario Akey Ojima, Shakari of Elementality' So, it's a diary about me." He said, then he read in silence.

When he was done with what he wanted, he turned his head down. "So, All of this is my memory, but why can't I imagine it happening?"

-"Because, you are not the true Sario Ojima, not the one that I always knew. Your spirit, your soul, is that of an Angel now, but only in physical form. Sario, the Shakari, is now dead, but his body is still animated. You have his abilities, and his connection with Ino." Anomu explained, then he walked toward a door. "Follow me, your last lesson, before I leave you forever, has to begin, I will teach you wha your true power is." And Sario followed him, but before he entered the seperate room, he turned his head back and acknoledged Leon and Freed to wait there.

freed noded and as the door closed he turned to leon. "wait for them to come out. i have something i must take care of." he then left the building and headed off into the forest.

Sario followed his father into a large circular room. All around the walls, paintings of warriors and spellcasters hung up, each figure in the paintings stared directly into the middle of the room, where Anomu instructed Sario to stand. Above Sario, the cealing, was a dense cloud with twilight radiance escaping from it and a very soft tune filled Sario's ears, he closed his eyes as the tune relaxed his nerves.

-"This last lesson, requires you to read this entire book." Anomu handed a purplish-blue book to Sario's hands. Sario opened his eyes, but Anomu shut them immediately. "You do not read this one with your eyes. You read it with your mind." Sario didn't understand at first, but then his mind was filled with images of his past, his wedding, his promotion to Captain.

-"You, are not Sario Ojima, you are the Captain Reborn. You inherited this body from Sario when his Spirit died with his memory. That is why you don't have a memory. You don't have a past, the images you see, are not of your past, they are of Sario's. With these memories, you will be able to use the power of the Elemental Shakari. As well as use the Twilight and Sound powers infused with your body from that necklace. I will teach you how to control the Angel of Twilight."

Anomu let Sario's eyes open. Then he began.
