[spoiler='Plot']Years before the events of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, There was a tournament called the ZEXAL Tournament. The prize of the tournament was one single wish. Duelist from around the world were dared to compete. Each duelist has their own wish for theirselves, either be good or evil, and they won't accept defeat after their wish has been granted. Astral, the entity from a parallel world appears before hand and trained duelists to stop the evil duelist from having their wish granted forming the Team Astral. Also an evil entity, named Shadow, has also trained evil duelist to counter the Team Astral forming the Team Shadow. The tournament is now a Battlefield of Team Astral and Team Shadow. And its up to Team Astral to end Team Shadow's evil intentions.[/spoiler]

Klaus told Astral he's story and was asked to form a team to stop all evil duelist from having their wish to come true and formed Team Astral as tribute to Astral. Klaus became the Team Leader and together defeat Team Shadow.
Appearance : Brown Hair, his body structure was good and balanced, his skin tone was white, and has blue eyes. He wears a noble attire and its color is gray.
Personality: He has almost a same personality as Astral. He always think of a strategy. He's very serious and always trust his deck no matter what is the situation. He is quiet and likes his friends to be safe as possible. He doesn't care if he loses and he wants his duel fun.
Intention: His intention is to see his mother and be given the power to help people on their needs. Astral liked his intentions and was asked to be the leader of Team Astral. But even though having his mother being reborn is against the rules of man, he instead wanted to see his mother only once.

D-Pad Appearance: His D-Pad is colored blue and has sharp edge near the monitor. It has a little red orb in it which glows when he summons an Exceed Monster.
D-Gazer Appearance: His D-Gazer is colored blue and has red tint. It has an additional glass which is placed in a gear-like thing connected to the D-Gazer which can let the D-Gazer see through the Monster's effects.

When he was old enough he had bought a deck with some money he stole from his mom, those cards were now his life and have never lost a duel so far.

Appearance: Jet black hair, with black eyes. Fair skin, Nose length hair, wears Black silk pants with steel-toed shoes. Red long sleeved Shirt with Black sleeves and collar. Wears sun glasses over his head.

Personality: Jax is the quiet type. He shuts in his feelings and emotions and is usually very mellow. When he has a good challenge in his duels, He goes ruthless and shows no mercy to his opponents.

Intention: Jax’s intensions are to find his two best friends Leon & Clair. They were all separated when they all had to move to different parts of the world. Jax intends to use his one wish to find his two friends and for them to be happy together forever.

Bio: First off, Blaq is not his given last name. His real name is Cole Tenebrae, but he goes by the last name Blaq to avoid being recognized as the son of world-famous duelist Azrael Tenebrae. Cole lived a very prosperous life as the son of a professional duelist, but he despised living the way he did. He had no actual friends; his peers only hung out with him so they might get gifts. Finally, Cole met someone who he could actually trust, someone who would be his friend even if he wasn't rich. Her name was Kylie, and the two fell in love. However, fate did not want this to work out, apparently. Kylie was killed in an accident a year after they met. Cole sank into a deep depression, and was only able to pull out of his emotional withdrawal after a mysterious man challenged him to a duel. Cole lost, due to a lack of will and focus. The mysterious man revealed himself to be Astral, and he asked Cole if he would be joining the upcoming tournament. Cole learned of how he could be granted a wish, meaning he could finally reunite with Kylie. He agreed to join Team Astral, for he felt that someone shouldn't try to put personal gain over overall happiness, and therefore Team Shadow must be defeated at all costs.
Appearance: Cole has shaggy, medium-length dirty-blonde hair. His eyes are puzzling, as they change color. When out-and-about normally, they are simply grey; When Cole is focusing, such as in a normal duel, gold flecks appear; When Cole is under immense stress, such as when a life-changing event has occurred or when he's in an extremely important duel, they become a dark, stormy grey, and gold flashes (somewhat like lightning) appear occasionally. Cole also wears glasses, but he often misplaces them.
Personality: Cole is very quiet and reserved. He sheds this demeanor in duels, however. While dueling, he has a tendency to shout loudly, a habit his father says come from Cole's great-grandfather on his mother's side, Seto Kaiba. Cole is very kindhearted to all he meets, even his enemies. He would never do anything to harm anyone.
Intention: Cole wants to stop Team Shadow from achieving their selfish goals. His exact wish is unclear, even to Cole himself, but he knows he wants to see Kylie again.
Team: Astral
D-Pad Appearance: Similar to Tsuma's in structure. However, it is colored a diluted gold and silver, and the touch screen is a bit larger to accommodate Cole's moderately-impaired vision.
D-Gazer Appearance: Due to the fact Cole cannot wear his glasses with his D-Gazer, his D-Gazer functions as a secondary pair of glasses. They have a zoom function and higher-resolution lenses than normal. They are shaped like glasses, and their interface is synchronized to his brain wavelengths more than his optical perceptions to better accommodate his "disability."

That was before they hit the fog, the turbulance, and then the ground. Everyone died that day except for Krade, and it broke him. He isolated himself from the world, he home-schooled himself. That's when something came into his life, Duel Monsters. He was a child prodogy, but he could never have any fun, that was until they came. Team Shadow, they promised Krade his life back, and like any sane person he accepted. He was also told he was fighting the evil intentions of Team Astral, and Krade hates evil.
Appearance :
(No pictures? Lame.) He has poofy Dark Brown hair similar in style to Joey's. He wears a Black Suit, for some reason, with a red tie. He has blue shoes and eyes.
Personality:
Krade is a friendly, kind, and loving guy. He usually talks, and can offend people, for he tends not to think before he speaks. He hates those who delibrately try to put evil in the world, cause there's enough of that already. He gives all of them justice.
Intention:
Krade only has one intention, and boy is he hell bent on it. He wants his family back, the ones killed during the plane crash, when he was just five, and nothing, I mean, NOTHING will stop him. Because what's the point of living without them, what is it?

Team Shadow
D-Pad Appearance:
His D-Pad is quite strange to most people, for it's quite oversized. In-fact, it looks more like a Slifer Red duel disk, but nobody's keeping a record.
D-Gazer Appearance:
It's your standard D-Gazer with a darker tint, and a blue and white paint job. It's also quite sleeker than the normal design.

RP Name: “S” (Developed from the entity called “Es” by the renowned Sigmund Freud. It is said it is the dark side of one’s personality which appears in times of mental stress.

Gender: Male
Bio: In youth his parents were killed along with millions of others by an experiment held near involving the Exceed Mechanic (any 5D’s final arc references anyone?) After this incident his area was in ruins, and to survive he became an assassin by the name of Agathion, a successful and infamous killer. Some of his teammates still call him so.
Appearance : I’m too lazy, so let’s just say his clothing is like Ghost Rider, with the silver accessories and black clothing. Black hair and pallid skin, though this is so horribly orthodox the very words burn my eyes. He also wears a monocle acting as his D-Gazer.
Personality: S is, while lacking feelings for enemies, certainly humorous. He is violent yet calculative, and will only move when the need arises.
Intention: The restoration of his aforementioned homelands. The vast money he earned from other tourneys was mostly used to achieve this goal, but he decided it was much easier to participate in this tournament.
Team: Team Shadow
D-Pad Appearance: Instead of a D-Pad he uses a similar, smaller device. Normally it is a round flat black disk upon his left hand, but when the duel starts it opens up to reveal eleven square tiles facing upward, acting as his card zones.
D-Gazer Appearance: As already said, his monocle. It is seemingly plain glass, but has its appropriate functions set inside.
Deck: Dark Vanilla Beatdown, something I commonly use myself, except with 1 less PSZ/Gale and 2 more Duality.

One day, when Nova was coming home from school, he heard a scream from his house. It was his mother. He rushed to his house, to see a murdere standing over his mother and father. He simply stared. The murderer then just left the house, Nova doing nothing to stop him, just looking at the dead bodies of his mother and father. From that day on, he became cold, not making any friends. Eventually, the orphanage tried to take him in, but he refused, and ran away to avoid having to live so close to where his mother and father had died. On the way, he heard about the ZEXAL tournament. Having being taught Duel monsters from a young age, he thought he would try for the money. Eventually, though, after beating everyone he had faced with ease, Shadow came to him in a dream. He said he knew where the murderer who killed his parents was. Little did Nova know, it was him. He accepted Shadows offer of beating Team Astral and becoming the leader of Team Shadow, deciding that getting Revenge was more important than doing the right thing.
Appearance : Nova has blue hair, with a small Birthmark-scar on his left cheek. His eyes are a Crimson colour, and seem to change to black when he gets angry. He wears a Leather Jacket, with a black T-Shirt. He has black Jeans, and Red Converse.
Personality: Nova's personallity is always changing, although most of the time he doesn't speak except to give orders. When he is in a good enough mood, he might talk a little about his past, altough, considering the context of it, that rarely happens. If he is in a bad mood, he tends to get irratated at anyone at all, even Shadow.
Intention: Nova's intentions are very different. On the one side, he wants to win the tournament to get money to support himself, and on the other side, he wishes to get revenge on the person who killed his family. Because of that, he uses an emotionless deck. If he ever finds the murderer, he will be the one murdered.
Team: Team Shadow
D-Pad Appearance: His D-Pad is a little different than most. It has a black colouring, with a silver neon glow around the edge. His Card slots are Grey, and have special customizations, so that they are flat, like a duel disk.
D-Gazer Appearance: His D-Gazer is Black, again with a silver neon glow around the outside. It has been customized for the highest resolution picture, and can force someone into a duel, activating their D-Gazer and D-Pad.
Deck: Nova uses a Tech Genus Deck (Before ED comes in and gets them), representing his emotionless soul on one side, and his Burning Passion to kill the murderer on the other. He has most of the Tech Genus cards, aswell as a few fakes (customs) he got from the black market.

He was well-repected, and he had many followers until...A competitor new to the Pro Dueling Circuit, one by the name of Azrael Tenebrae, bested him in a duel. Everyone thought Kreuz Lichtberg was washed up, a has-been, etc. Kreuz couldn't take it. Years later, he was still haunted by his loss, and he was all but forgotten in the dueling world. However, he received news that there was a Tournament being held, one where he could be granted one wish...And he knew exactly what he wanted to wish for. So, he joined Team Shadow as a way to further his goals...And to defeat Cole Blaq, who looked just like Azrael when Kreuz first met him.
Appearance : Short, permanently well-groomed golden-blonde hair. His eyes are a very bright blue. He always wears an old WW2-Era leather bomber jacket with a white shirt underneath and blue jeans. He sometimes wears frameless reading glasses with crystal lenses.
Personality: Kreuz is very formal and strict. He often speaks in a harsh tone, even in the few occasions he is actually sincere. When Kreuz is dueling, he tries to end the duel as quickly as possible, and he doesn't really like to banter during his turn.
Intention: Kreuz's wish is to have unspeakable power over all dimensions. He wants to be able to bend time and space to his will, and to become Emperor of a new world.
Team: Team Shadow
D-Pad Appearance: Standard D-Pad build. The coloration is strikingly similar to that of Exceed Monsters' cards. When his card zones appear, they jut out the opposite direction from the way they do on other D-Pads.
D-Gazer Appearance: Kreuz's D-Gazer takes the form of a simple half-headset with a black-tinted lens jutting out over his left eye. It has a built-in function that allows him to analyze what counter-strategies are good for any single card his opponent uses' which are ordered from greatest success probability to least.

If he is in a bad mood, he tends to get irratated at anyone at all, even Shadow.
Intention: Nova's intentions are very different. On the one side, he wants to win the tournament to get money to support himself, and on the other side, he wishes to get revenge on the person who killed his family. Because of that, he uses an emotionless deck. If he ever finds the murderer, he will be the one murdered.

D-Pad Appearance: His D-Pad is a little different than most. It has a black colouring, with a silver neon glow around the edge. His Card slots are Grey, and have special customizations, so that they are flat, like a duel disk.
D-Gazer Appearance: His D-Gazer is Black, again with a silver neon glow around the outside. It has been customized for the highest resolution picture, and can force someone into a duel, activating their D-Gazer and D-Pad.
Deck: Nova uses a Tech Genus Deck (Before ED comes in and gets them), representing his emotionless soul on one side, and his Burning Passion to kill the murderer on the other. He has most of the Tech Genus cards, aswell as a few fakes (customs) he got from the black market.
Ace Card: No.58 Tech Genus Deleo Master

This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Exceed Summon. Cole lived a very prosperous life as the son of a professional duelist, but he despised living the way he did. He had no actual friends; his peers only hung out with him so they might get gifts. Finally, Cole met someone who he could actually trust, someone who would be his friend even if he wasn't rich. Her name was Kylie, and the two fell in love. However, fate did not want this to work out, apparently. Kylie was killed in an accident a year after they met. Cole sank into a deep depression, and was only able to pull out of his emotional withdrawal after a mysterious man challenged him to a duel. Cole lost, due to a lack of will and focus. The mysterious man revealed himself to be Astral, and he asked Cole if he would be joining the upcoming tournament. Cole learned of how he could be granted a wish, meaning he could finally reunite with Kylie. He agreed to join Team Astral, for he felt that someone shouldn't try to put personal gain over overall happiness, and therefore Team Shadow must be defeated at all costs.[/font]

When out-and-about normally, they are simply grey; When Cole is focusing, such as in a normal duel, gold flecks appear; When Cole is under immense stress, such as when a life-changing event has occurred or when he's in an extremely important duel, they become a dark, stormy grey, and gold flashes (somewhat like lightning) appear occasionally. Cole also wears glasses, but he often misplaces them.[/font]
