anti-support for earthbound immortals

Although an Earthbound immortal deck isn't played that much, it's still not nice to play against. So I made an anti-support card using one part of the effect that all Earthbound immortals share: there can only be one on the whole field.

There can only be 1 face-up "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field. When this card is Normal Summoned, it's switched to defense position. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by an opponent's card effect or battle, it is not destroyed. This card cannot declare an attack.

The not being destroyed was just to make sure it stays on the field, but to make it not OP, I chose to make it a defense only monster without too much support. If I didn't want it to have too much support, this guy would have been a LIGHT fairy monster (though with another name)

You forget 1 thing, this one doesn't need a cost and its effect works as long as it's on the field and it can be taken from the grave back again to use its effect again.

Or you could MST the field spell. It takes less effort, has no cost, and will force the opponent to use resources to recover the field spell/EBI to use again.

If you REALLY hate them, side Des Counterblow and lol.

Really, there are too many inherent flaws with the EBIs to merit anti-support in my opinion.
