Duae Formae. A remake of an Original RP{PG-16}{Accepting/ Started}

Torai had walked with the group for a while. He had eased up a little as there weren't any signs of danger, yet. After a while however, his scanner picked up a large being and along with that there was a loud thundering sound. [i]BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, CRACK![/i] The sound was loud. "Looks like we found our first victim. Alright, lets go." Torai raced to the sound as silently as everyone else. He took shelter near the remains of destroyed wall and glanced at the creature that was preforming its loud orchestra. It was a brute of a man that had outgrown itself massively, especially in build. It was around 7'8" and it's skin looked as if it was a brownish rock and his arms were coated with this rock-looking substance that reminded Torai of "The Thing" from one of the few Fantastic Four comics he had ever read, but they were thicker. Torai saw that its eyes have been completely covered by the same rock-like growth, and noticed the small "orb" like shape in the middle of it's head. Not only that, but the creature was pounding massively at the ground in a rapid pace. [i]I should be able to get a little closer. He's almost within my bombing range...[/i] Torai took one step closer, but that was all that was needed to grasp the creature's attention. It gave out a massive roar and began to sprint towards the tiger. "s***!" Using his claws, he climbed the un-destroyed wall behind him. Torai had climbed more than enough of the wall to escape the brute attack. The creature had crushed through the wall, and would've crushed Torai with it. [i]Alright, he's open.[/i] Torai clawed onto the wall using his feet and stood horizontally. With the release of his hands, he grasped one of the five explosive Cherry Bombs he brought with him with his right hand, and unstealth one of his two blades with his left. As he launched the bomb, the creature noticed the projectile coming its way and blocked it using it's massive arms. Torai then jumped towards the creature, releasing his other blade with his right hand mid air. The creature roared at Torai, but it was too late for him (or so Torai thought.) The blades were just about to pierce the creature. [i]If these creatures are this easy to kill, then we have nothing to wor-[/i] His thoughts were interrupted as the blades barely cut the surface of the creatures skin and went no further. [i]-ry?![/i] "Oh fu-" Torai was about to be dealt a heavy blow. The creature had recoiled one of its arms and unleashed a lightning fast strike at Torai. Torai had reacted sharply enough to recoil his arms and legs to brace for the impact. As the hit connected with his block, Torai felt a sharp pain in his arms, and then was flung through the building. Torai crashed through three of the stone walls before his body was dragged to a stop in the streets. "ARGH!" His arms were shaking from the impact, but they weren't broken. "Damn, the impact hurt more than crashing through the walls...Guys! This guy's body is made of some hard material. I don't know it projectiles will make it through, just like my blades." Torai forced his arms to stop shaking and stealthed his blades back. [i]s***...What do we do now?[/i]

Sam hesitated at first, then studied the creature as he gripped the handle of his chain gun tighter. "I have an idea." He spoke into his comunicator once before charging out, pulling the trigger on his heavy gun, unleashing a barrage of his special Nitro bullets, covering the creature in a small torrent of firey explosions. Sam continued running, past the creature as it turned it's attention to him. Sam took this opportunity to yell to his team. "If I draw his attention long enough, some one can possibly find a weak spot. Try aiming for the thing's back somewhere." Now wouldn't that be cliche, like some video game, a massive behemoth such as this thing, being defenseless on his back, though it still held a strong possibility, and it already looked like the thing wasn't that affected by Sam's onslaught.

Torai took on Sam's reasoning and made his way around the creature's back. The blasts had distracted him nicely and Torai unstealthed one of his blades again. He charged for an attack and delivered a sharp blow to the creature's back. No effect. Instead, the creature seemed annoyed and tried to strike Torai with a spinning fist. Torai saw through the attack and ducked. He then caught glimpse of the creature's 'orb' like structure on the center of it's head. He jumped and thrusted his sword onto the orb. The blade did not pierce the skin of the creature, but it let out a large roar of pain. As Torai retracted his blade and backed up from the creature's striking range, the behemoth drew it's hands across it's head where the orb was. It seemed to be in agony. "I think I found it. It's not on the back...it's in it's forehead!"

Fenris had heard all the commotion nearby and seeing as how there were no threats in there immediate vicinity, he took off in a sprint towards the blue dots on his watch's radar that would be around the origin of the noise. He passed through a small park and once he left the other side of the park and turned a corner around an old 3 story building then he could see the others just down the street. "What is that thing..." he said quietly as he saw the giant brute they were trying to fight off. He put his Reaver handgun back in its holster and instead took the grenade launcher that was strapped to his back and took aim at it. "Fire in the hole!" he yelled sarcastically as he fired off two rounds at the beast. As they arched through the air and fell onto him, one hit his left foot before exploding. Due to his armored skin the blast didn't seem to hurt him much at all but it did knock him back a little. Then the second round fell onto him and hit him right on the top of his head as it exploded. The impact sent the giant tumbling to the ground and he groaned in pain as he fell face first into the ground with his massive weight. His forehead hit the ground first and this caused him to let out a scream of agony. Though he wasn't killed, he was badly hurt at least. He quickly began fumbling back to his feet and there was a large amount of blood coming from the socket the orb was in. "I see..." Fenris stated as he noticed the blood," That is your weak spot isn't it?" He then began sprinting to get closer and meet up with the others. As he drew in the beast seemed to notice him and while clutching his forehead with his left arm he swung with his right arm at Fenris. Fenris quickly dove and flew right under the blow barely dodging it and he slid across the ground for a second before hopping to his feet and moving away from the beast a little more. "This guy giving you trouble?" he asked Torai who he was now next to while he put the grenade launcher back and drew both of his Reaver Bolt Action Handguns and aimed them at the monster.
