Yes and no. Outwardly, I do my best to make sure it seems I don't give a s*** what anyone thinks. For the most part, that is indeed true.

I only really care what people I like think of me. And being extremely paranoid, I'm always afraid that those people think negatively about me.

Same for me. But the people I like likes me, so I have nothing to worry about.

As far as you know. They might be saying they like you, but is that what they REALLY think?

Maybe they're just playing you.

I think it's important to try to be a good role model to some extent by maintaining a respectable appearance for people, even those I don't know. I know I wouldn't like it if people just started walking in public with baggy pants hanging from their knees or lots of strange gothic/emo piercings and nail polish. Although people really don't have much right to decide what others should wear, I think it's important to at least be respectable enough of others not to make them feel uncomfortable by looking bad. If you started wearing nail polish and dressed like a tranny, how many of your friends would still hang around you?

Well, that may be true. But they maybe like me. That is what I hope they do.

It is human nature to want to be respected/well liked/etc, as much as some deny this.

I do care what peole think about me, unless I dismiss them as clearly being an idiot, I don't care to impress idiots. Idiots being.... most people ;)

But yes, I do want people to think I'm awesome. I won't change to suit them if they don't, but yes I do care what people I care about think about me.

I honestly give a s*** what anyone thinks about me unless I have really strong feelings for them. I'm not some kind of antisocial freak though lmao, I generally get on with everyone, I'm just not bothered whether they feel the same back tbh.

On YCM, I couldn't care less. IRL, of course. Nobody can honestly say they have never cared what at least one person thought of them.

I agree with this. Like someone said before me, it is human nature to try and be respected and liked. It is companionship that we all desire.

I thought about it when I was little, but now I've stopped caring what people thought about me long ago. I don't try to act cool or anything in front of others, I just act who I am, a really big nerd. If they can't accept that, though s***, they can think whatever they want about me. ^.^

Although on the internet I do like messing with people with silly first impressions sometimes.

I always ignore the opinions of people who I find are worthless to me, anyways. That being nearly everybody, especially at school.

I don't really care about what my friends think of me, either. If they didn't like me, we wouldn't be friends in the first place. Even if they do like me and somethig I do disdains them and they make a rude or critical comment on me, I still will not care.

I do care about what my mother thinks of me, though. I'd really have nothing without her, so she is the best person to rely on right now.
Stepfather and brother's thoughts of me are usually dismissed and forgotten after I get complaints or egomaniacal auto-praising used to enlargen their imaginary cubes, or whatever.

I usually do listen more intently to one who I can deem equal or superior to myself intellectually, however.

Obviously yes.

Sometimes I don't feel like washing myself and if it went after me, I'd often go out in my pyjama and unwashed (that means, not just in front of the door, but grocery shopping and whatnot). But I'm not doing it.x)

I try to keep my mood issues down and avoid getting one of those horrible outbursts at work or on a lively marketplace, even though I'd love to do it.D:

I'm often worried about whether something I said came over as stupid since I often say things on a whim.

Hmm I like being myself and doing whatever the hell I want when I can, but most of the time, there's an influence from others anyway.
