"Now here in Arena D, we have another duel of the WRGP, Team Rebirth vs Team Vendetta," said the Commentator standing in the middle of Arena D's Stage. "In Team Rebirth we have Itsu, nothing is known about her before this tournament. We have Zarleun Trusedale, he is related to Zane Trusedale and he mastered the power of the Nordic's. Then we have Alexis Phoenix, she died and came back from the dead at age 6." The commentator turned around to see Team Vendetta, "In Vendetta we have Ryan Merrett, another Genius of his age who did great in all exams at the academy. We have Ashley Samson, she is an explorer girl who occasional explores so much she gets lost. We have Victoria Atlas, she says she is a time traveler from another dimension." The commentator gazed over to the crowd. "Now First we have Itsu for Team Rebirth and we have Ryan for Team Vendetta."

Itsu was working on her Duel Runner when something started forming out of the shadows. The figure gained a humanoid form, then glowing purple, gold, and orange lines across its surface before creating openings for the arms, legs, and the head. Vicky stepped out of the shadows to confront this obvious impostor.
"You aren't Itsu, no matter what they say." She growled, casting a spell so they wouldn't be interfered with by anyone else.
"Of course I am, sweetie!" Itsu cheerfully replied.
"You can't be her. There's no way."
"Are you sure?" Itsu replied again, dropping down from her cheerful feminine voice down to that barely masculine voice.
Vicky took a step back as the normally cheerful Itsu turned around, a malicious gleam in her eyes.
"Who are you?" Vicky wondered, half enraged, half terrified.
"Someone that has known you for a LONG time. Now, I just want to have a little fun, that's all. Can you allow me that?"
Vicky nodded, and Itsu slipped back into her cheery self.
"Good luck!" Itsu wished as Vicky sinked back into the shadows.

Ryan was working on his duel runner when he heard the anouncement. "Why did he have to say genius, now everyone will either think I am up myself and think that I am a genius or think that I am hugely smart but possibly a sociopath. And either way, they will think that I am a great duelist when I am only a good one. "Itsu, a mysterious girl who is the first duelist on Team Rebirth, what deck does she use." He pulled out his palm pilot and looked up the notes he had found on the teams a few days ago. "That is odd, according to my notes it is a guy named Rajada, who uses a Gravekeepers deck, but my memories are telling me it is Itsu, and her deck is unknown as of yet. That is weird but it will only be a problem until I can figure out her deck, as for Rajada, he must be be something someone put up as a joke." Ryan jumped on his duel runner and rode into the stadium, to wait for Itsu to arrive in the duel runner course.

Itsu sped out of the pits on a terrible-looking Duel Runner that looked like a half-baked attempt at combining the Yusei Go with the Bloody Kiss. She accelerated towards her opponent. "Hello!" She told him cheerfully. "How are you doing? I'm pretty fine, but a little nervous about this duel. You're so big and tough and strong, and there's little old me back here." Of course, from what Ryan remembered, she was possibly lying about how strong she really was. "How about you go first? I mean, that doesn't seem too hard, does it? Pretty please?"

Ryan accelerated around the corner ahead of her, after her statement, and called out back to her, "Me going first is fine by me, so I summon Gellelduo in defence position." A pair of fairies appeared in the air, each with a ring around it and both keeping together with the other. I will next set three cards face down and end my turn at that." Three rectangular cards appeared briefly on the field, before vanishing again, as happened in turbo duels, as Ryan pondered Itsu's first words. She may be saying that she is weak, but I wonder how true that really is, and if she can find a way to either beat me this turn or stop my pending lockdown combo.

Zarleun suddenly drove out on the field with his duel runner. "Itsu is currently occupied, so I'll be taking her place. I draw! (SPC:1) Now! I set one card face down, and set a monster in face down defence position. You see, you will never overcome me, because I have the power of the GODS!"

"I don't believe in gods, and during the end phase I'd your turn, I activate one of my face downs, royal decree, so now trap cards are useless. Draw. I tribute Gellunduo and use it's effect to count it as the two tributes for Vanity's Ruler, now you can't special summon either. Vanity's ruler attacks the face down card, go, light of vanity." Ryan watched as vaniy's ruler charged at the facedown monster, holding a glowing ball of light in it's hand and fairly certain that Zarleun would at least lose one card on his field this turn.

"You destroyed my Garmr of the Nordic Beasts, but next time you won't be so lucky." The card is flipped faced up, and out comes a small dog. It is hit by the light and blasted into the graveyard. "You see, Garmr was the gaurdian of the underworld, so he's now at home. Thank you. I draw! Now, I'll activate Speed Spell Mystical Space Typhoon, removing 1 speed counter when I have 3 or more, to destroy Royal Decree. Next I'll activate Glepinir, Fetters of the Fenrir to add Tyr, the Nordic Champion to my hand. Now, I'll summon Dverg of the Nordic Alfar, and with his ability, I can also summon Tyr, the Nordic Champion. Next, I'll equip my Speed Spell Nordic Relic Drapunir, I give up 2 speed counters, and he gains 800 ATK, to my Tyr, and he'll attack your Vanity's Ruler! Go, with the power of the north!

"The interesting thing about a combo like that is with the right card, all of those cards can be destroyed, and I think I will keep my field superiority and my Vanity's Ruler for now. I activate the trap card, Ring of Destruction. Now I can select and destroy one monster on the field and deal damage to both players equal to that monsters attack. I choose your Dverg of the Nordic Alfar, and if I remember right, your Tyr of the Nordic Champions is destroyed if there is no other face up Nordic monster on the field. Lastly, that equip spell of yours will be destroyed because Tyr will be destroyed. So am I right or will I have to use some other move to stop you." Ryan smiled, knowing that he had control over the field, and that his other face down would help with his continuation of the duel. He was confortable as well, while he had control over the field, he also had two cards to use from his hand if needed, and he would draw another next turn.

The trap card activates, exploding and damaging both players. Then Tyr shatters into pieces. Because you happened to destroy my nordic relic, I'll add another to my hand. Nordic Relic Moljinir! I guess I'll play 3 face downs and end my turn. Now, you better make this next move count, because you are about to enter a world of pain!

"I seriously doubt that I will enter a world of pain, but just in case you are right, I might activate Call of the Haunted during the end phase of my turn, to summon Gellenduo back to the field in attack position. Now I Draw. I use Speed Spell - Cold Wave at the start of the Main Phase 1 to freeze all spells and traps on the field, and all in our hands, though your hand is now empty of cards, so neither of use can use or set spells and traps until the end phase of your turn. Finally your demise is here, Gellenduo attacks directly and if that attack is succesful, then Vanity's Ruler will attack directly." Ryan watched as speed spell threw ice at the field, and his monsters charged forward to attack, Gellenduo first and Vanity's Ruler after him.

Ryan watched as his opponent made his move, and ended it having one face down monster, and two face down spell or traps. Because of the timing of setting those cards, and that he emptied his hand in order to set all three, one of those face down cards is his Nordic Relic Moljinir that he added to his hand when his other Nordic Relic was destroyed. "My turn, Draw. I might tribute Gellenduo once more and use it's effect to count it as both tributes for the summoning of this card, Splendid Venus, and with him on the field, all non-fairy type monsters lose 500 ATK and DEF, and my spells and traps can't be negated. Next I set one card face down and Splendid Venus attacks your face down monster. Then I will have Vanity's Ruler attack either directly if the monster was destroyed, or attack the monster if it wasn't destroyed." Splendid Venus threw a ball of light at the face down monster, with Vanity's Ruler waiting in the wings with another ball of light in its hand.

You destroyed my Tangsinir of the nordic beasts, so I get to special summon 2 Nordic Beast Tokens (0/0). Now I'll activate Glepinir, Fetters of the Fenrir to add Tangristinor of the nordic beasts to my hand. You attack my other token(Probably) and it is destroyed. Now, It's my turn! I draw! I play one card face down, and end my turn.

(OoC: you had 3900 life points because of Meteor of Destruction, and I hadn't finished my turn yet. This time, regardless of what happens my turn is over at the end of this move, unless you use some kind of counter against me.)

"You are wrong Zarleun, you don't get to summon those tokens thanks to the effect of my Vanity's Ruler. Did you forget that he stops you from Special Summoning, meaning that I still get to attack you directly with Vanity's Ruler, since that face down is your trap card Glepinir, Fetters of the Fenrir. Go my Ace Card, Vanity's Ruler attack him directly with Vanity's Light." Ryan watched as Vanity's Ruler attack directly, wondering if his opponent could stop this attack or if it would land and reduce his life points to 1400.

"I don't need to stay out of your way, you just finished your last turn in this duel, Draw." Ryan smiled as he said that, his smile increasing when he looked at the new card. " I might set another face down card next and attack your face down Tangristinor of the Nordic Beasts, and I know what card it was because I saw you add it to your hand and your hand is now empty. Unless that face down spell or trap can stop a monsters attack, this duel will soon be over for you as Tangristinor of the Nordic Beasts won't get to summon his tokens to the field thanks to my Vanity's Ruler, who will attack once Splendid Venus is finished attacking." Ryan watched as the golden armoured fairy raised her sceptre and sent a blast of light towards the face down monster and the green haired and white robed man started to summon up a similar light as well.

Wait! Before your Attack, I activate Skill Drain! By paying 1000 LP, This stops the effects of your monsters. Then, Splenid Venus hits Tangristinor, and Vanity's Ruler Attacks me directly (LP: 0) Zarleun races around the field, and hands the Tag to Alexis. "I'm sorry I didn't do better, the special summoning requirments were my weakness.

(OOC: Since I had Skill Drain on the field, does Alexis get Skill Drain as well?

"Sorry but this deck isn't called a lockdown deck for nothing, I activate my face down card, dark bribe. This one is a personal favorite of mine, and since you are about to be beaten, the card you get to draw for it is worthless. Splendid Venus and Vanity's Ruler both continue their attacks and finish you off. Like.I said, this is your last turn and regardless of what you accomplished, you just didn't have control of the field in the end or your gods, my Ace card sealed your gods away and stopped you from accessing their power. I have no doubt that my next opponent will have a good chance at beating me, especially with only one face down and one card in my hand but that can't be helped." Ryan looked on as his monsters continued their attacks and finished Zarleun off, before waiting for the next duelist to emerge as he rode around the field, wondering if he would gain any speed courses before his next opponent emerged.

"You did well enough. But now, it's time for me to take to take to the ring! It's my time to duel!"
Alexis jumped onto her fire red duel runner, revved the engine twice and took off, fire streaming from her rear wheel. Then, as soon as she gets onto the duel ring, she called to her opponent.
"Hey! The name's Alexis! Let's duel! I draw! And start off with Burn, phoenix descendant (lv4). Then, I shall activate the effect of my spell card, Half Boost. Since I have one speed counter, I gain half the difference between our speed counters. Then I can activate phoenixian runes. So I can remove 4 speed counters to trap your Vanity's ruler, stopping it from activating effects. Then, I may Special Summon Bri'cor the Phoenix (lv4)." Alexis winked, looking at her two splendid red birds. "Synchro Summon! Fire burns all but the volcanic bird. Let the flames part! Appear! Phoenix Guardian Magros(2800 atk)!"
A huge tornado of flames came down from the sky, a bird shadow just visible. It spread its wings, sending fire in all directions. "Behold! Magros! However, I may not attack this turn, but can return the non-tuner used for this synchro summon to the deck. End phase with a face down!"

Field: Magros
S/T: Phoenix runes, 1fd
1 FIRE tuner monster + 1 or more non-tuner monsters.
If the ATK of this card is decreased by the effect of an opponents Spell, Trap or monster effect, increase this cards ATK by the amount that would decreased and inflict damage to your opponents Life Points equal to the ATK this card gained.

(OoC: can you put the stats after each move you make, and can you post the effects of your custom cards.)

"So, my Vanity's Ruler has finally been sealed, but it still is on the field and able to attack, Draw. Since you couldn't attack, that will benefit you because your monster doesn't have the strength to take down either of mine. Look at it, because it is a winged beast type monster, it loses 500 ATK and DEF thanks to my Splendid Venus. I might attack your pheonix with Splendid Venus, then attack directly with Vanity's Ruler, since you don't have a face down to protect either of them." Ryan smiled as Splendid Venus raised his staff once more and sent a beam of light directly at Phoenix Guardian Magros, intending to destroy it in one hit, to deal 500 points of damage, before Vanity's Ruler would attack directly and deal an additional 2500 points of damage.

"Sorry, but Magros activates its effect, giving it an extra 500 ATK instead of having it lose that ATK. So be my guest, attack me, but allow Magros to consume your monster in flames!" Alexis pointed at the attacking monster and muttered the word; burn. Fire encircled the Splendid Venus, destroying it and inflicting a bit of damage to Alexis's opponent. She laughed slightly.
'God I love this!'
Then she motioned for her opponent to either end phase or continue. She sped up just slightly, small flames coming from her runners back wheel.

"Go ahead and destroy him, it won't make a difference to my overall plans. Besides, unless you manage to do something about Vanity's Ruler in your next turn, I will have enough speed counters to free him from spell card prison you have sealed him in." What she does will make no difference to my overall plans, though it would be nice to enter the next turn with Vanity's Ruler remaining, even though I might have to sacrifice the Honest that has been sitting in my hand since the start of the duel in order to do so. "I might set one spell or trap card face down and end my turn with that, as I can't do anything to stop you this time." Ryan watched as Splendid Venus was consumed in the fire, and Magros' attack returned to its normal 2800.
