"Now here in Arena C, we have another duel of the WRGP, Team Starlight vs Junkyard Crew," said the Commentator standing in the middle of Arena C's Stage. "In Team Starlight we have Amanda, she went to duel academy and now that she has graduated she is attempting to win the WRGP. We have Chardonnay, a duelist who wants to win so the prize doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Then we have Kai Yugi, A duelist who is classified as one of the best of his time." The commentator turned around to see the Junkyard Crew, "In Junkyard Crew we have Ark Briss, he grew up in a junkyard and learnt how to duel and make duel runners from scratch. We have Phantom, nearly nothing is known about this duelist. We have Akarui Kage, he comes from a rich family and has just recently started Turbo Dueling. " The commentator gazed over to the crowd. "Now First we have Amanda for Team Starlight and we have Ark Briss for the Junkyard Crew."

Char groaned at her description. She never said that, but she did hint at making sure things didn't fall into the wrong hands. She was actually supposed to be an observer, a sort of "time tourist", watching events unfold, but she always ran into other travelers that had more dire issues, like Itsu, Vicky, Desna, Trixie, Jenny, and more. She knew something was wrong with Itsu, the this imitator. She had been giving her a throbbing headache. She was supposed to see futures, but every time Itsu was around, she was flooded with a near-infinite number of possibilities. The real Itsu gave her a calming feeling as futures narrowed into a singularity she could easily follow. However, another competitor, Alpha, gave her a void. Her powers seemed to not work on him for some reason that she was still trying to figure out...

Kai Groaned softly to himself as he leaned against the wall and held his left shoulder. His eyes refelcted the pain from the crash, his body was quickly recovering at in-human levels. This is almost regeneration like from a t.v. show. His cuts and scars went away within minuts of the crash. But, internal damage like organs and bones took about two days to fully heal-up. He breathed heavy as he made his way to his seat in and watched as the turbo duel was supposed to commence. "I wonder if Char can sense or already knows what happened to me..." He thought. His brain in so much pain.

Ark had seen what the other team had done in the pre-lims and he knew that they would be trouble, most of them had either graduated from some high class schools with tough wins under there belt or was considered one of the best duelists ever not to mention one of them might be a cyborg with the way she was drinking last night but still he had confidence in his team. As the announcer talked he rechecked all his equipment to make sure nothing was wrong and took a deep breath at the gate waiting for the signal to go.

Kai Grumbled as he drew himself closer to his seat near Char's, so he can watch the round. His head throbing, but he wasn't going to throw in the flag, even if he fell of his duel runner, he was going to drag himself back up and get back on. Even if he broke whole limbs, he wasn't quiting. His eyes fell blank as he tried to numb the pain by only thinking about the compition and the cards, and it seemed to be working. He looked over at Char. "So, What are we going to do if the destroy her in this round?"

Char moved over and sat down next to Kai, a vacant stare on her face. "I guess I will try to win against our opponents, and if not, then you will get the same chance. That's all we can hope for." She rubbed her throbbing head. "I know you're suffering, but you are not the only one. My foresight, which got us here this far, has been acting up ever since last night. That Itsu woman is the cause of it. For some reason, she is interfering with my ability to see futures. However, the Itsu I know is the exact opposite, which is why I covet her amulet so much." Char explained. "Itsu and I...we are rivals. I want the amulet that allows her to travel through space and time, because it acts like a lens, allowing me to see the true future, not just possibilities. But every time I meet her, I meet a younger version of her, and as she travels along on her path, she runs into younger versions of myself. We always meet out of order. But this Itsu is different. She radiates an artificial aura of love. I have no idea what she is, or why she is here, but intend to find out."

Kai Listened throroughly to everything Char was saying. Thinking double time to make sense of it all. He littereally sat there and thought for a few minutes before he got one bit and then it slowly came to him what he must ask. "...Itsu who?" Confusion finnally fought past the pain he felt, his face from blank to a little worried that he missed out on something important that everyone else new. His head-ache only getting a little worse as he worked through the pain. His face seemingly to get a little drowsy as his head dipped forward. The air seemed to get really hot as his muscles burned the way they usually did when he was going through this healing-mumbo-jumbo that only himself and his father has been known to do. His head getting clearer as he wondered who this Itsu person was.

Char almost fell out of her seat at the shock. She groaned, and simply placed one of her hands on Kai's forehead. Her gems glowed as Kai was pulled into a bright light.
Kai was now kneeling on the ground somewhere, an alley from the looks of it, and it was raining. He felt heavy and something was pulling his chest down. He looked up to see a beautiful woman with red hair stylized into six fins, three on each side of her head, and a long, tail-like braid, one band red, the other black. She wore a red and black jumpsuit with a black sleeveless trenchcoat over it, and she had three belt-spikes on each upper arm, like Seto Kaiba. She stared down at Techi with one blue eye and one gold eye. She looked youthful, in her late-20's, but her eyes had wisdom and experience inside of them beyond anyone Kai had ever known.
"And it looks like you lost again, my dear Chardonnay."
"Again?" Techi felt his mouth move to form the words, but Char's voice came out instead of his.
"Yes. To you, this is the first time we have met, but I have known you my entire life." The woman then coughed, and for a second, she looked tired and worn-out. She was obviously much older than she appeared to be.
"Do I eventually get the amulet?" Char, with Kai along for the ride, asked.
"Eventually, but you must duel me to get it."
The woman walked away as Char/Kai collapsed, and the scene flashed to white again, at which point, in the real world, Char took her hand off of Kai's forehead.

Kai blinked at random intervuls. His eyes wide, then shut closed real quick. Then widen, and continued these steps untill he felt the hot air grow to a warm and his muscles and bones grew very cold. His eyes blinked really fast as he snapped back into reality, almost a whole minute after Char. "Who...What... When...Why... huuuuhh?" He asked, his face grew a little warmer as he realized how cute that girl was. But his grin grew back as more of that of a business grin, rather than his usually pervy grin would when he felt this way. "So... That was Itsu?" He asked, his body relaxing as he full-recovered a whole day in advance.

Char nodded. "However, we have a bit of a problem. Remember the party last night?" Char placed her hand on Kai's forehead, bringing to surface the memories of a strange, fat version of Itsu with a different face. "Everyone at the party was made to think she was the real member of Team Rebirth when their actual third member was another man with a Gravekeeper's Deck." Char's gems flashed, and two sets of memories appeared: one of "Itsu" dueling with Team Rebirth in the prelims, and the other with a strange old man with a turban and an antiquated Duel Runner. "I was lucky that the immense surge of improbability from some event kept my memories intact, but we now have an impostor with unknown capabilities: a total wild card."

Kaden chuckled. He was wide awake, quite unlike yesterday. The memories from yesterday gifted to him from Char's mysterious and Strange power had been quite an advantage over those other teams that may be tricked. "Heh, IT looks harmless enough. But then again, I shouldn't be judging this book by its cover. No matter how false its cover and identity could be." Kai nodded. "You are definiently right Char, we should be on edge about this imposter." Kai almost wanted to give Char a pat on the head, but he's afraid that the gesture wouldn't be the same for her than his cousin. He smiled and tilted his head as a gesture of thanks.

Ark rode out as the duel started, after drawing his six cards he carefully studied his hand and decided the course of action would be best against his opponent. I'll start out by sending my Quillbolt Hedgehog to the graveyard in order to Special Summon my Quickdraw Synchron next I'll Normal Summon my Level Eater now I'll tune my level five Quickdraw Synchron to my level one Level Eater in order to bring out my Turbo Warrior, now I'll set one card face down and end my turn. As soon as Ark had ended his turn he looked over to his opponent to see what kind of counter he would bring out.

Char looked back at Kai and gave a little bit of a smile back at him, showing that...whatever she was...wasn't entirely emotionless. She moved closer and rested her head against his shoulder, closing her eyes to get a little rest.

Meanwhile, Vicky watched them from the shadows, undetected by both. She had decided to check on all of the duels, since she wasn't going up for a while. She was curious what this mysterious woman Char was doing here. She had seen her a few times before, but she had never gotten to know her. She disappeared to go check on another team.

Kai looked down at Char resting on his shoulder. He sighed. "Things like this drives me crazy... she knows that... I think ... I hope. So... Do I rest my arm around her back?, My hand on her arm? No, no. This is just a friendly gesture, I don't wanna look like I'm coming on to her or anything... Do I just let her rest on my shoulder? Does she want me to put my arm around her?-THE DUEL KAI, KEEP YOUR MIND ON THE DUEL!" He sighed after thinking deeply, he got this strange feeling like he was being watched, but passed it off on his own inner-awkwardness. His mind began to consider possible situations.

Akarui rose from his seat and threw a blank card at Kai and Char, one blank card at each "You two do realize if you don't get a duelist out there you will be disqualified, correct? You'd better hurry up." he stated. He then began to shuffle his deck. He looked at the other team. Didn't they care about the WRGP? Oh well. He was actually hoping that they'd get angry enough to challenge him to a duel outside the arena. He was too bored. "(C'mon.)" he thought as he finished shuffling his deck and placed it in his deck case.

Ark had just finished his thirteenth lap and no one from the other team had showed up to duel, normally when you lap the opponent you gain 1 speed counter and when you reach twelve then they start being taken away from the opponent but with his thirteenth lap completed and no enemy showing up he wasn't sure what was going on so he pulled up to one of the refs to find out what was going to happen. Um, I just finished my thirteenth lap without my opponent showing up so does that mean I just won cuz I've never heard of the opponents just bailing like this???
