Astro smiled wide. "As was it with you, Yoh. I hope we can duel again. However, I must peform 1 last act before I beat you! Draw! I activate speed spell, Old Technology. This allows me to split off a synchro monster on my field into seperate ones, used for material. I choose Astro Warrior!"

"Then, I activate Recipro Dragonflys effect, splitting Blaster into 2 Tech Genus!"

"Reveal Trap! If a synchro monster I control is split into two or more non-synchro monsters, I can activate Quick Accel Tune. This allows me to select 1 synchro monster (Recipro Dragonfly) and treat it as a tuner monster!"
Astro began picking up speed, as he performed another Accel Synchro. He disappeared in a flash, then reappeared with a cyber angel. It held 2 glowing blue swords, one in either hand.
"Right, activate TG cyberspace angel (lv7) effect, allowing me to Special Summon 2 monsters, both which have been removed from play (TG Tiger/TG Trooper) but with no effects and with 0 ATK and DEF. Synchro Summon again! Tech Genus Accelion Magician (lv5). This card allows me to lower the level of every monster on the field by 3."

There was an explosion. All the synchro monsters on the field were glowing, becoming super nova's. Green, blue, black, red, white, purple, gold, every colour possible appeared at the tip of Astro's duel runner, then enlargening out. The whole circuit became covered by these synchro rings. The speeds Astro reached were incredible. Impossible even. He had a determined look in his eye. Faster and faster, a glint came from the sky. An Aurora appeared, it turned to night, the stars shone so brightly, like never before. Astro heard the MC but paid no attention. The glowing tunnel which covered the track spiralled upwards, and Astro followed it. The tunnel began to disappear behind him. Once in space, Astro yelled the Tech Code, and once feeling the presence of a power beyond all other, he rocketed down to earth, followed by his new monster.
"Behold! My monster! Which surpasses all other! STELLAR MASTER! Upon summoning, I can destroy cards on your field, equal to the non-tuners used. So destroy the face down and winged kuriboh! Then it can attack twice! Obliterate!"
Stellar master destroyed everything, then inflicted 3000 damage to Yoh's life points.

This card can only be special summoned by synchro summon. This card can only be special summoned once per duel. If this card would be destroyed by battle, decrease the level of this card by the level of the attacking monster and negate the destruction of this card. Once per turn, you can remove from play a card in your hand to remove this face-up card until the end phase. You can Special Summon a monster from your hand by lowering the level of this card by the level of the special summoned monster. When this card is destroyed, special summon up to 2 'TG' synchro monsters in your graveyard or Extra Deck whose total level is equal to, or less than the level of this card.

Nova sighed as Yoh lost the duel. He supposed it had to have happened soon. As he got down from his stand, he thought about how he would beat this Stellar Master. It seemed immpoisible to beat, but Nova knew that everything had a weakness. As he watched, Stellar Master's ATK dropped to 2500. Then, he realied it's weakness. Everytime it attacked, it grew weaker. It was already weak enough to beat, though Nova suspected that it had other effects. He climed onto his sleek black Duel Runner, and zoomed out. He caught up with Astro, barely. "You may have been able to beat Yoh, but i'm a different story!" He shouted across to Astro. He drew 5 cards, and motioned for Astro to end his turn.

[Mecha Love]

"I end phase, but my monster is a weapon of destruction, literally impossible to beat. It has precautions and safety features. You can have a try destroying it, but even if you can, I still have more secret weapons!" He smiled as he passed his new opponent.
"Go ahead, make your move. I'm not promising you victory though! End Phase!"
Stellar Master returned its attack back to its normal 4500 and towered over his opponent.

Nova smirked. "I draw, and activate the effect of The Fabled Chawa, So by discarding a card in my hand, i can special summon him!" Nova said, sending a card to the Grave, and placing Chawa on the field. "Also, the effect of my discarded The Fabled Ganashia, Special Summoning him to my side of the field with 200 extra ATK points!" He said, laying The Fabled Ganashia on hi duel runner. He smiled. Everything was going according to plan. As long as Astro couldnt counter, he was safe from his beast.

[Super Chaos Sonic]

Yoh's Duel Runner stopped, as he saw Nova zoom past him. He took his helmet off and smiled. [color="#000080"][i]You can do it Nova...win this thing for Team Rulers...we beat the two duelists they have left...we'll be on to the next round.[/i][/color] he thought as he began to bring his Duel Runner back to the Team Ruler's part of the arena. He sat down and then yelled,[color="#000080"]"GO NOVA!!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!! And before you say anything boss...I did my best and that's all I've been doing since the beginning of this tourney."[/color]

Ran said "I know each lose becomes greater possibilities to win!" But before Nova entered Duel Ran added a card to Nova's Deck. Its a Trap Card named "Maximus Wrench" he though that since all of the duelist in each Team shared the Graveyard, "Maximus Wrench" can guarantee Astro's defeat. He then said to Yoh, "I've added a card to Nova's Deck that can help him win, he just need to draw it."

Yoh looked at the card and then smiled. [color="#000080"]"I almost forgot we all share the same graveyard!"[/color] Yoh said, hitting the side of his head with his palm. [color="#000080"]"DUH!"[/color] He chuckled a little and said,[color="#000080"]"With my Synchros all in the grave as well as yours...his duel is ensured victory!"[/color] This made Yoh feel very happy, he thought that his loss might've actually helped his team win this duel...and that trap card might be the way to their victory. [color="#000080"]"Let's hope Nova can beat Astro...that awesome duelist."[/color]

Nova smiled. It looked like Astro wasnt going to counter. Well, he may have been expecting him to Synchro Summon, but Fableds had grown more than most people know. He turned a sharp corner, his hair flapping in the wind. "Now, i'll do it again! By discarding another The Fabled Ganashia, I Special Summon another The Fabled Chawa, and The Fabled Ganashia comes back!" He shouted across to Astro. Now, it was time to show him. "Now, i will overlay the 2 Level 3 The Fabled Ganashias! Exceed Summon! Come Forth, Fabled Hishu!"

"Now, with his effect, I can discard a card and remove an overlay unit to stop your Stellar Master activating his effect, OR attacking! And the card i discarded was a third The Fabled Ganashia!" He smiled, as chains appeared from round Hishu's body, wrapping themselves around Stellar Master, and Ganashia appearing from the ground. Now, all he needed was to keep Fabled Hishu on the field and he was safe to win.

[Mecha Love]

Astro tutted. "Yes, your fabled monster stops me attacking or activating effects, but what if your monster was never summoned? Oh! I have an idea! Lets try it! Stellar Master, activate effect! Negate the Exceed Overlay System!"
Stell Master fired a volley of rockets into the galaxy like portal forming and swirling as overlay monsters created a new, Exceed monster. Astro looked directly at his opponent. "I hope you have a backup plan? I really don't want to beat you this soon!"
He looked over at the galaxy which was beginning to get destroyed by so many missiles. He then motioned at his opponent to continue whatever he was doing.

"Astro, do you think i would rely on 1 monster? Your forgeting, i still have 2 Tuners on my field, and Stellar Master can only Negate a Summon once! So, i'll be Synching my Level 3 Ganashia with my Level 1 Chawa! Synchro Summon! The Fabled Unicore! Now, i'll synch my Level 4 The Fabled Unicore, with my Level 1 Chawa, to Synchro Summon my Ally of Justice Catastor! Now, attack his Stellar Master! And because he isnt DARK, Hes destroyed, before Damage Calculation!" He shouted, as His beast lowered down his hidden canons, launching 2 dark beams at Astro's creature.

[Mecha Love]

Astro laughed out loud. "You! You are the opponent I have been waiting for! However, thanks to Stellar Masters effect, I can lower his Level to negate his destruction. (Lv12>Lv7). So unlucky for you, he stays on the field! But I'm impressed! Very impressed."
[i]That was close. I need to get the card I need if I want my precautions in place. He's just lowered Stellar Masters precaution effect slightly, so I can't re-summon any over level 7 monsters. Pity, but no matter. Yoh was an excellent duelist, lets see if this one is as well![/i]
"Do you finish your turn there?"

Ran smiled and shouted to Nova "Nice Work!". He smirked and said Astro has no single S/T Card face-down so it's impossible to get ruin of Catastor. He then turned to Yoh and asked him, "By the way, what card you set when you lose?" Ran asked him and waited for an answer. Ran then continued watching the duel while waiting for Yoh's answer to his question, With a question like that he might be planning another strategy for Nova.

Nova looked slightly dissapointed. "Very well, I was never one to rely on just 1 plan, and it seems you arent too. I shall end my turn with a face-down!" He said. He was dissapointed that he couldnt beat Stellar Master this turn, but he had managed to lower his defences. Nova suspected that if Stellar Masters Level reacheed 0, it would be destroyed. All he had to do was keep his A.O.J Catastor on the field for 2 more of his turns. The only trouble was, he didnt know how he was going to do that.

[color="#000080"]"AWESOME JOB NOVA!"[/color] Yoh cheered from where he was at. He then heard what Ran had asked him about the face down card he placed, before Astro destroyed it. [color="#000080"]"Well it went with my Winged Kuriboh...it was the Speed Spell - Transcendent Wings. If Astro didn't destroy it...and Nova finally was able to use the Winged Kuriboh Lv. 10 I gave him...Astro would've lost the duel. It would've been the last move I played on that duelist...but he destroyed it by that card effect, so live and learn, ya know?"[/color] He knew that would've given Team Rulers an advantage...but he wasn't able to bring it out.

Ran said to Yoh, "I hope he does this strategy you have done Yoh but he needs more draw power to draw the corresponding cards he needs to perform this." Ran saw how Nova set his face-down and said to Yoh, "I hope that's the card, "Maximus Wrench" with it, He can use on of the Synchro Monster's in Graveyard in the field, especially Gae Dearg since there is a Winged-beast-Type in the Graveyard, so that would defeat that stupid Stellar monster once and for all, like i have done on Simon's Level 12 monster with my Gae Dearg." He then hoped that Nova can defeat 2 duelist so they can advance and win their to have the cards.

[Mecha Love]

Astro smiled at his opponents disappointment. "Stellar Master has fail safes. Otherwise he wouldn't be worth summoning. But I draw! Stellar Master attack Catastor! Stellar Blast!"
The huge monster began charging a massive laser towards Catastor. It fired in a massive pulse of white energy.
'This should work, even if his face down stops it, I can negate it. Plus I got a nice little card in my hand as the final fail-safe....'
Then he watched as his monster became slightly smaller after the attack. He looked at it. "75% power remaining. Good. Very good. Begin charge."

[EndlessOcean]

Nova smiled. "Reverse Card, open! Negate Attack! This will stop Stellar Master in his tracks!" Nova shouted above the noise of the two duel runners. Negate it Astro. That wont help you. All you will do is waste your effect. Nova was confident in his abillity to win. No one could stop him. He had spent Years working on his deck. There was nothing he couldnt handle. Now, if Astro negated his attack, he had a back-up plan.

[Mecha Love]

"I negate the activation of your counter trap! Negate attack is destroyed and my attack still goes through..." Then Astro smiled, "until you activate the second face down. However, I always have backup plans!"
'This is perfect! If he does activate his face down, I can remove my stellar master from play, and also send the only card in my hand to the graveyard. Little does he know that that will help me a lot!'
Astro smiled "I AM LOVING THIS DUEL!"

"You think you can beat me? I will let that attack go through, but i also activate the Reverse Card, Damage Vaccine Omega MAX! Whenever i take damage, i gain the amount of Life Points inflicted!" Nova had thought Astro would fall for that. There was no way he was going to lose. He thought about what would happen. He would have to get the title the hard way. "Now, were you going to counter?" Nova said, smiling. He went past the next corner with amazing speed. Soon, the conditions will be met, and Astro would face the wrath of his Ultimate card.

[Mecha Love]

Astro clicked his tounge. "By sending 1 card from my hand to the graveyard, I can remove from play Stellar Master, negating my attack and your gaining of life points! Nice try, but another fail! Worst of all, you may have a monster planned, but beware, I may have, and certainly will have a counter card! I admire your skills, but this duel is mine!"
Stellar Master faded out of existance then reappeared just as quickly as Astro ended his phase.
'All is well'

"Good, since your attack is negated, my Catastor is still on the field" Nova shouted across, hoping he could draw the right card. Yes. "I activate the effect of Speed World 2! By removing 4 Speed Counters, you take damage equal to the number of speed spell cards in my hand times 800! Currently, I only have 1!" He shouted across at Astro. "Now, i'll use that Speed Spell, Ultimate Accelaration! When My Speed Counters are 0, and my opponent has more Counters than me, I gain counters equal to double the difference, meaning my Speed Counters are now 8! Now, time for Speed World 2's effect to be activated again, so by removing 7 Speed Counters, i can draw a card!" Nova was out of breath after he said all this, but his passion for winning was burning brighter than ever. He grinned as he drew his card. Luck had not abandoned him yet. "I activate the Speed Spell, Star Blaster! With this cards effect, I can remove 1 Speed Counter, I can roll 1 die, and increase 1 monsters Level on the field, equal to the result!" he shouted, as a giant die appeared in front of his duel runner. It landed on... 3! "Yes, now my Catastor is Level 8! Catastor, Attack Steller Master!"

[Mecha Love]

Astro smirked, "I take it you forgot that my Stellar Master can negate the activation of a spell or trap card? So y'know? I'm gonna stop you gaining those speed counters! Stellar Master! Star Cannon, celestial shot! 100% effect I power! Block that Spell Card!"
Stellar Master charged a massive beam of energy and fired it at the spell card Astro's opponent activated.
"Hmm.... you're going to need to do much better than that! End phase then?!"

"Fine, I'll end, since theres nothing else i can do... yet." Nova said, dissapointed that Astro had fell for his trick. It was so simple, yet many duelists overlooked it. He wondered why that was. Maybe such a weak looking card just didn't catch their attention. He hadn't expected such a begginer look on things from Astro. It was surprising that he could simply over look the one card that could overthrow his Steller Master, even though it was a simple effect.

"Fine, I draw! Y'know, I have a feeling you're planning something big, and I look forward to dueling it! But for now, let's see what you got! I activate Pot of Greed, Speed spell version! My speed counters decrease by 4 (4 left) and I draw 2 cards. I then attack Catastor with 4500 ATK and then I can attack you directly with 3500! So, that's game!"
Stellar Master fired a volley of a hundred missiles towards Catastor and the user of Catastor.
"There is nothing you can do! I have won this! Great duel however!"

"You may think it's over, but i still have 1 more trick up my sleeve. I activate the effect of The Fabled Unknown in my Extra deck. When i would take more than 3000 points of damage due to an attack, i can specail summon this card, with attack equal to the damage i would have taken, minus 500. And, the best thing? His summon cannot be negated, and hes not effected by monster effects, so say byebye to Steller Master stopping him. Also, he has many other effects, that you will find out soon." Nova shouted at the top of voice. This may not have been his ultimate monster, but he was certainly powerful.
