The Moonstone Festival

So, this is my first go at writing Fan Fiction. I understand the Jack Witt cause so will take bad comments if needbe. This originally started out as a Short Story to describe one of my Pokemon Giveaways and suddenly exploded into a full fledged Story. Please Enjoy. James is a temporary name for now (It's my name too)

[Spoiler=Chapter 1 - A Date & a Meeting]James looked at the poster that was pasted onto the wall of the Pewter City Pokemon Center. “Come and view the Moon Stone Festival!” the poster read with a picture of 6 Clefairy's dancing around a Giant Moon Stone. “Nurse Joy, do you know what this festival is about?” James asked as he took his 6 Poke Balls from his pocket to give to the Nurse for healing. Nurse Joy smiled at James as she took the 6 Balls and carefully placed them in the machine. “The Moon Stone Festival is a yearly tradition on Mt Moon in which Clefairy from all over Kanto join together for one magical night” Joy had a small tear in her eye and her words drifted slightly at the words 8 *Magical Night*

“What's wrong Joy?” James asked as he heard a small sob from the Nurse. “It's just... It's just that the Clefairy are often spotted near Pewter City and they are inquisitive Pokemon but when they become a Clefable, they leave.” Joy had tears streaming down her face as she mentioned about Clefable's. “Hey.... Why don't we go and see this Moon Stone festival together?” James suddenly asked as he put a reassuring hand on Joy's shoulder. “You know more about Clefairy's then me and it would be nice to have some company” James took a tissue from his pocket and handed it to Joy. “T-Thank you” Joy was slightly blushing as she wiped the tears from her eyes. “Here are your Pokemon” Joy handed the 6 Poke Balls back to James as she smiled slightly. “Meet me at the entrance of Mt Moon at 9pm this evening” James nodded in agreement “9pm it is”

Later that night James made his way to Mt Moon whilst imagining how the festival would turn out. “Joy mentioned that the Clefairy often hang out near Pewter Cit-” His thoughts were suddenly cut short as he heard a cute noise nearby. *J-Max Note. Pokemon in this Fan Fiction do not say their names as a way of communicating* James suddenly stopped and took out his Pokedex to try and scan for the location of the noise. Suddenly the Pokedex started to speak “Cleffa, the Small Star Pokemon. Cleffa often stay together in groups and cower together to scare away larger Pokemon” James looked at the Image on his Pokedex and it was indeed a Pokemon shaped like a Small Star! Suddenly the bushes nearby started to rustle as the cute squeaking noise got a little louder, then without warning a Cleffa charged out of the bushes and straight at James! The Cleffa was a bit larger then a Normal Cleffa but only one of its ears were Black. James dodged out of the way of the charging Cleffa pretty easily and almost laughed as he watched the small Star Shaped Pokemon almost trip over.

The Cleffa suddenly stopped and looked at James in confusion. Her little head cocked to the side slightly as she let out a cute cry. All James could do was stare at this newfound Pokemon, he still had the Pokedex in his hand as he started to wonder what to do with the Cleffa. Suddenly the Cleffa started to smile as she sung a song that James had never heard before. The Song reminded him of times when he was a beginner Trainer, the day he got his Pokedex and his travelling Eevee companion. As the Cleffa continued to sing, James slowly but surely inched closer to the Cleffa. Suddenly the Cleffa stopped singing and just looked at James as she wiggled her ears a little. “Don't worry, I won't hurt you little one” James slowly held out his hand towards the Cleffa trying not to scare her. Suddenly the Cleffa giggled and started to nuzzle her herself against James's hand. This was the first time that James had ever seen a Cleffa and was almost mesmerized by how friendly this particular Cleffa was. The Cleffa was nuzzling against James's hand gently whilst almost purring like a Cat, it seems that this particular Cleffa had been around Humans before.

James slowly stroked the Cleffa's head as she squeaked in happiness at the attention. As James stroked her head gently he suddenly noticed the this Cleffa's coloring was different to the one that he had seen in the Pokedex. “You're a Shiny Pokemon aren't you?” James continued to stroke the Cleffa's head as he took a close look at the coloring. The Cleffa's right ear was Green and she looked more Pink then what James had seen. “This is incredible, I can't put you in the Poke Ball, would you like to come with me?” He tickled the Cleffa behind the ear as she giggled from all of the attention.[/Spoiler]

Was actually quietly anticipating something really good when I read J-Max was authoring this.

Moved verrrrrrrrrrry fast. Very little description. Yes I know the majority know what Joy and a pokemon centre look like but still, something would have been good just to set the scene a bit. You did describe the Cleffa quite nicely though.

Please start a new paragraph each time the other person starts speaking in a convo, and maybe italicize thoughts, I thought you were speaking aloud to yourself when the Cleffa appeared. And that would make you crazy
