Ven looked at Jax and then at Luke. The two of them knew each other....OK this was getting to be too weird. "So you two have met each other before??" Ven asked. Both these guys have said they were the 13th Guardians, Luke being a guardian of Lightning and Jax being a guardian of Mist. He also heard Jax say every time he saw Junior he was always in a different outfit. [i]He knows Junior too!?[/i] Ven thought, him blinking a couple of times. OK, if he didn't get any answers soon, he'd just walk out of here without knowing what Junior wanted.

Takeo stood at the entrance to Namimori park. With one hand he held his bat that was also rested on his shoulder. His free hand was holding a piece of paper which also seemed to be the center of his attention at the moment. "Who ever this bastard is, I'll slaughter him." He read the letter one more time before entering the park.

-A few hours earlier-

Takeo was doing another one of his casual walks through the town when he walked right into a piece of falling paper. He almost ripped the paper apart but he noticed that there were words on it.

Takeo walked into visibility of the group but his approach may have been obvious by the sound of his bat being dragged along the concrete walkways as he got close. He looked at the group that was surronding the bench. "What the hell kind of lame joke is this? A wimp, a girl, a baby, and two other weirdos I've never seen before." He closed his fist around the piece of paper and threw it at Ven. Takeo then proceeded to point his bat at Ven. "You care to explain what this is? Hoping to outnumber me or what? With a girl and baby?" He looked at the baby that was standing in front of Ven. "What's the difference between a dead baby and cake? The cake is a lie."

Ven saw Takeo walking up and then saw him throw the piece of paper at him, most definitely from Junior. [i]Oh gosh...Takeo seems totally upset. W-W-What did I do?[/i] he thought, getting a little nervous. A fight against Takeo that wouldn't end very well, especially since he saw how he fought against that one evil mafioso. His jaw dropped and then glanced at Junior. [i]ARE YOU TRYING TO GET ME KILLED!!![/i] he thought, gulping.

Luke looked up and sighed. Somewhat reluctantly, he acknowledged Jax's presence. What kind of mist illusionist was that loud. "It's a job. I'm on a contract to be this guy's cloud guardian. Of course, I have to manage the details. Only five hours on the job and I had to show a local gang their place." He sighed and ruffled his hair. It really was a pain. "At least it got me fifty or so underlings to watch the streets for me." This job was looking even more irritating, with Jax here. He had hoped that Job was the last time he would see the man. Then the delinquent with the bat showed up. Another one of Junior choices. It just kept getting better and better.

Tiffany looked confused about the rough boy who showed up. She didn't say anything though. Instead, she puffed up her chest (which made her bust even more prominent) in frustration. Junior, for his part, jumped and pull his mallet from his shirt, landing on Takeo's head. "I'm a hitman," he said hefting the hammer. "And if you need reminding, I'll take this hammer to your head." He surveyed the group. "Hmm... Sky, Cloud, Mist and Storm. Only half the set. Ven, your family needs to learn time management. We'll have to start without them."

"You three with be in the Vongola mafia. Jax and Luke already know what this is all about, so I'll explain for Ven and Takeo's sake." He hopped unto the tip of Takeo's bat. "Ven, as the head of the family, you lead a large group of mafisto. But the guardians are your personal fighters. They are those who report directly to you. As the head, you represent the Sky, and your orange Dying will flames are Sky flames. Mafia use seven flames in total. Sky, Cloud, Mist, Lightning, Rain, Storm and Sun. Each attribute has a guardian. And these guardians guard the Vongola family. Soon, you will have to fight for the title of the 13[sup]th[/sup], much like the 10[sup]th[/sup] did. In fact, here is the advisory now." Junior pointed to the black limo that pulled up to one of the park entrances.

Takeo had a clueless look on his face. He understood almost nothing of what the baby just said. "Was this baby dropped on his head or something? Well I guess kids do have overreactive imaginations." He looked at the limo pulling up. "So that's my advisory? Does that make whoever is in that limo the bastard who wrote that letter to me? And a limo too? Some sort of douchebag rich kid who thought it'd be fun to pick a fight in this town?" He began to imagine himself beating up some woman-like rich guy and taking his jewelry to pawn somewhere.

He slammed his bat to the ground not caring whether the baby was still on it or not. He laughed a bit at his earlier thoughts until looking back at the group. "Why are you guys even here anyway if this is my fight? Dio I have fans or something?" He looked at the busty girl. "How much milk did she drink as a girl?"

Zane's limo had pulled up to the group in the park. "Thanks you can leave." Zane stepped out of the limo, grasping the box and his covered up scythe. "So, Final, these are the ones, and this is Ven." Zane walked up to the group, with his white eye covered by his hair. "I see some farmiliar faces here." Zane looked at the kid with the bat "And by the way, I hate flashy cars, but they insist i ride in it." Zane strapped his weapon over his shoulder and held out the box with both hands. "I brought them, Junior." Zane put the box down in front of Junior and turned to Ven. "Hello, Ven, my name is Zane, and from this day onward, my future entirely depends on you, so please try not to mess this up and survive whas coming, or I may end up killing you myself."

Tiffany blinked with surprise at Takeo after his comment. Milk? What was he talking about. She thought it trough for a few moments before it hit her. He was talking about her size. She blushed, then frowned. "I don't like milk and hardly ever drink it so there!" she pouted, stamping her foot cutely on the ground. Little red anger sparks fizzed from her head as he fumed. She stuck her tongue out at the offensive boy and turned her back on him.

Junior rapped Takeo on the head with his mallet and Dog licked his face as soon as it came in range. "You really need to listen when someone talks." he said, walking over to Zane. Junior snatched from the box from the ground and held it almost reverently. Then he spoiled the effect by reaching in and drawing out four rings, then tossing them towards their new owners. They were all strange; the gem seemed to have been split down the middle lengthwise and the bands cut in half along their circumference. "Take those. Don't lose them."

Luke snagged his with one of his ever present wires and slipped it on his finger. The half ring. It was only a matter of time before he claimed the other one.

Jax and rested against one of the street light and watched as everyone bickered with one another "Strange group of people.....A busty chick, A punk, A Baby, A rich-looking kid, and a guy that clearly hates me.....So if Ven is the leader there should be 6 more people" Jax thought to himself he counted everyone but junoir "5 so far but where are the other two? Will they be coming soon" he thought. Junoir had then thrown Jax a ring that was cut in half " Thats strange why is this cut in half?" Jax thought to himself as he was looking and the ring with a blank expression. Jax had just went through one of his mood swing agains. He had swinged to the more "Cool and serious type"

[Kuroda Kaito]

"Oh man, i'll be late" Kaito said to himself. He run quickly in a dark way to the park, he didnt went to the park before so he lost his way but luckily he met a mysterious guy whose introduced himself is Celestino Caraccio a Sun Guardian and he show Kaito the way to get to the park and they go together. When they arrived at the park, Kaito saw everyone are there, "Hey Ven and Luke, sorry i'm late, lost the way to the park but thanks to this guy i came" Kaito said to Ven and Luke. Then he saw a guy whose named is Jax then Kaito come and greeting him " Hi i'm Kaito Ven's friend, nice to meet you and you're...."

Jax had sensed someone coming and looked to his side. He sees two people, one of them comes and introduces himself as Kaito. Jax stares at them for a second thinking “Are these people the other two guardians? If he’s Ven friend then the other must be too.” Jax then opens his mouth slightly and says “Hi…..my name is…..Jax…..” Jax has another one of miss mood swings and quickly says “Kaito! Nice to meet you! How are you doing’ this fine, dark night?” Jax take Kaito’s hands and starts to shake it while he was talking.

Ven looked at the person who was named Zane. "U-Umm, hey...Zane..." he said slowly. Ven heard him say to Junior that he brought them....this made Ven think again. [i]Brought them?? What is them...and who the heck is this guy?[/i] he thought as he scratched the back of his head. Ven sighed and then finally said,"OK! Junior, this has gone on long enough....I'm wanting some answers now....WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!!" He couldn't help it...he just blew up like that in front of everyone that was there. This whole secret, with these "Guardians" was going on long enough....he needed answers now.

"Fine, but listen closely." Junior pointed his mallet at all those gathered, except for Tiffany, before settling on Ven. "The Guardians are the reason Luke, Jax and rest were called here. For some reason, there doubts about your suitability to lead the Vongola. Somehow, the leader of the Varia has claimed the title of 13[sup]th[/sup] as well. And since the Advisor's and the 12[sup]th[/sup] refuse to agree on a heir, the more aggressive route is being taken. You and your Guardians will fight the other heir and his/her ((no one has taken that spot yet...)) group and the winner is the next boss. Easy enough to understand."

Junior started pacing a bit. "Sky, Sun, Cloud, Lightning, Mist, Storm, Rain. Seven flames, one boss, six guardians. The others are still late, but I'll find them."

Ven began to understand now....well a little bit more than what he knew about the Vongola before. [i]So I have six people under me to help me fight....?[/i] he thought to himself. [i]That means they're lives will be in my hands....this just keeps getting better and better...not.[/i] Ven looked at the ring Junior handed him and then looked at Jax, Luke, Kaito, and Takeo. These four people were under him...and Junior told him six guardians would be with the boss. Two guardians remained....but who they were made Ven wonder. Ven finally nodded and then said,"I-I-I understand...."

Takeo was focused on the ring that the little baby had given to him. "[i]Well that was easier than I though but...[/i]" His eyes narrowed when looking at it. "[i]It's only half of a ring.[/i]" The baby started talking again but Takeo understood none of it. There was only one word he could really understand. "[i]Fight?[/i]" The next thing he heard was Ven say he understood. Takeo looked around at the rest of the group that was there. "Am I seriously the only one who doesn't know what's going on here?"

"So i'm one of the Guardians and i'll fight side by side with Ven, COOL" Kaito though. He looked at the half-ring that Junior gave him, he hold it tight in his hand, he felt happy and then worry about the fight that he and others will be on, he wonder who will win and become the next Boss. "Wow this is getting interesting, become a Guardian, fight with Ven and 5 other Guardians" Kaito though to himself

"Simpletons," Luke muttered. "It isn't that hard to understand. You have a post, and you are required to fight to keep it. And keeping it keeps Ven in his position as boss." He leveled a flat look at them. "Believe me, Ven, in all his ineptitude, inadequacies and lack of skill or talent of any sort, is a much better choice for the boss than his competition. And I'm not just saying that because I am being payed to work for him." Why did Junior choose this motley crew to be the guardians was beyond him. That baby's thoughts worked on a wavelength that he could never figure out.

"Junior!" Tiffany complained suddenly. "I didn't get a ring! IT'S NOT FAIR!" She pouted and crossed her arms in frustration. Why did the boys get the pretty jewelry? It wasn't fair. "I want a ring too Junior! I want one!" Black moths seemed to flutter about her as she pouted.

Junior sighed and threw another ring, this one a plain band with a small indigo gem set on it. It was a basic C-rank mist ring, but it was pretty enough. It would satisfy her. "Here. You are a Vongola supporter. You don't really have much to do yet, but that ring should be good enough for you."

"Yay! Thank you Junior!" She slipped the ring on her finger and gave the baby a hug before twirling around admiring it.

"Believe me, Ven, in all his ineptitude, inadequacies and lack of skill or talent of any sort, is a much better choice for the boss than his competition. And I'm not just saying that because I am being payed to work for him."

Ven heard Luke said. He scratched the back of his head and thought, [i]Don't hold the truth back on my account...[/i] Ven looked at people gathered: Luke, Kaito, Jax, Taeko, Tiffany, Junior, and Zane. These people were now pretty much having to work together and like it or not they would all have to get along with each other. Ven sighed again and then slowly said,"Look, most of you I may not see eye to eye with...and you know who I'm talking about...but with this whole boss thing, we have no choice but to work together on this." He had a point, if these people were to work with Ven, they would have to do it as a team. "So..." he said pausing. "Will you stand by me and fight?" Ven finished the sentence with a new found boldness and courage that just came over him.

The Luke guy was beginning to piss Takeo off. "Easy to understand? What do you mean easy to understand? Some bastard pranked me into coming here and now you guys are spouting random bull about guardians, position, that weakling being a boss of sorts, and fighting. You're calling me the simpleton when I'm getting no real detail into anything and now that I'm randomly told this stuff I'm expected to believe it. I'm not being a simpleton. I'm being logical." He pointed his bat at luke. "Now I can beat the truth out of you if that's what you'd like?"

He stopped talking and lowered his bat as Ven started to talk himself. "Stand by you and fight? I barely know you." Takeo sighed. "Since I have a feeling that I'll never get the end of it and somehow still get stuck into your messes if I don't join you guys I have a question. Two actually. My first is how much time will this take up? I don't like being at home so if I can be kept away from there then good. My second question is how much does it pay? That prick mentioned getting payed."

"Will you stand by me and fight?" Kaito heard Ven said that, he heart beating fast and he felt happy. "Yes i will fight with you, boss" Kaito said and raise his hand. "I know that you and me have know each other for long time, so i will fight with you 100%" he said proudly. Then he looked back the others and waiting for their answer to see if they will fight with Ven....

Jax heard Ven ask everyone if they would “Stand by him and fight”. He had waited for someone to answer till he heard Kaito agree. Jax had thought to himself “Well I guess I should agree…who knows maybe I’ll get to test out my true power…” Jax looked at Ven, with a faint smirk of his face, and said “I’ll stand by you and fight…but just in case …if I get out of control you have permission to stop me.” Jax had a slight mood change into a good mood; he looks at Ven and says with a smile “Glad I can be of assistance to the boss of the Vongola, Sawada-Dono"

Ven heard that pretty much everyone was complaint on helping him....all except for Takeo, who just did this to get paid. He felt a little secure and knew that whatever would happen next, they'd be ready for it. "Junior..." Ven began to say. "Where are the other two guardians you mentioned? Will they be coming before these...Varia, you mentioned, come and try to take this title away from me?" H was a little nervous at the thought of the Varia trying to harm him, or the ones he cared about. But then, this started to make him feel excited that he'll be able to protect and save those people....with his Dying Will.

"Glad to see you're all so determined." Zane said calmly.
"Then it's about time we started preparations, firstly, which one of you is the mist guardian?" Zane examined the group before him, and looked towards Junior. "How do you think we should train all of them?" Zane said quietly.

"We split them up," Junior replied just as quietly. With the sun, rain and lightning guardian's missing, he would have to launch a search party out for them. "I will over see Ven's training. He has some skill with his sword, but he needs to learn to master his flames. Luke is the typical cloud guardian, so he'll most likely be off on his own." True enough, Luke had already faded into the shadows, heading off to who know where. It probably was for the betterment of Ven's cause, but it would hurt for him to tell others his plans once in a while. "The sun guardian was to be Caraccio; Ven's old friend, so I'll go hunt him down and train him as well."

"Oh! Oh! Oh!" Tiffany exclaimed suddenly. "Can I help! I'm really good at magic! I can help! Can I?" She waved her hands and a swarm of butterflies drifted from her and flitted to the trees. Junior thought about it, then nodded.

"She's good with mist, do you think she should help Zane?" Junior asked the adviser. Tiffany gave Zane wide eyes.

Jax heard Zane ask for the mist guardian. Jax thought to himself “Mist guardian? I guess he must be talking about me.” Jax got up and walked towards Zane. "I wonder what him and junior are talking about? Probably something involving the group, they better not be talking about me." Jax had thought while he walks towards Zane. He stops near him and says “I’m Jax, the mist guardian of the Vongola, Nice to meet you mister.” Jax had a slight mood change into a mellow mood right after he said that. Jax thinks to himself while he awaits Zane response "I hope I don’t get partnered up with that that thug holding the bat, although it would be quite fun to see how he acts. I can only imagine the fun he'll cause in the middle of a battle."

"Wait...I'm training....with Junior??" Ven asked, gulping. Yeah, right now things weren't looking very well. [i]Oh boy...I remember Junior's old student came to see how I was doing and he told me all about the training he went through...[/i] he thought, with a grim look. [i]If I know Junior...he'll be training me like he did him...as in working me until I'm almost dead. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!![/i] Ven sighed and then saw everyone else get they're trainers, Zane and Tiffany were training Jax and Luke was off on his own....things were now getting a little more interesting in the city of Namimori.
