[center][spoiler=Season 2: The Ring Conflict](This happens after Tsuna and his Guardians arrived on the scene. They decided to go to America to stay there, but Tsuna's descendant, now has returned to Japan with his family.) It's been a while now, since Ven found out he was the next in line for the Vongola's leader, Tredicesima. But now, he finds out he's not the only one. Now an elite group from the Vongola, the Varia, are now wanting to challenge Ven and his friends to see who is the rightful wearers of the Vongola Rings. With the rings now given to their chosen people, Ven and his friends will need to train even harder to beat the Varia.

Ven was asleep on his bed. He began to snore, until he was awoken by a hammer on the end of his bed. "AHHHHHHHHH!!!" he yelled as he was slammed into the wall. Ven slowly stood up and then saw a small baby in front of him. This baby, was unlike other babies. He, was a hitman for mafia family, the Vongola. "Junior! What the heck man? I was in the middle of sleeping...can't you just let me sleep in for once?" Ven asked, rubbing his eyes. He knew that Junior was making him into the thirteenth boss in line for the Vongola, but still...waking him up like that...it made no sense to him whatsoever.

Ran decided to visit Ven. He knocked on the door but no answer, Ran decided to ring the doorbell. But still no answer, he then heard a bashing sound and Ran shouted, "Ven!!". He then checked the door, it looks like it' open and he checked the Living Room, Dining Room, and even the Kitchen. But no Ven was found he then just waited on the couch in the Living Room instead.

"Not good Ven. Not good at all," Junior tsked, wagging his finger. The mallet shrunk to a more manageable size. Dog crawled from under the bed, wagging his tail and panting as always. "A good boss should wake up after sensing danger. Not get hit into the wall. You could have been killed Ven. If you died, what would I tell the 12th? What would I tell you mom?" He looked sad, then smiled behind the pacifier. He snapped his fingers in an epiphany and the mallet grow again, to a size that no one, much less a baby, should be able to wield feasibly. "I got it. I'll beat you almost to death and assassinate you to make you strong enough to survive any attempt made on you while you sleep. Just to be safe."

Before he could make do on his promise, the first of the guardians arrived. "Good, you came Ran. I'll hold off assassinating you guys until the rest show up. That way, I can take you all down at once."

"Arf!" Dog said happily, leaping to licking Ran's face.

Ven's eyes widened and said,"Umm, n-no thanks...I'm good!" He stood up and then popped his neck and looked at Junior. "And you wouldn't let me die like that, Junior. Right?" There was silence in the room, hoping Junior would answer back. [i]Oh boy, he would![/i] Ven thought, looking scared. He then decided to finally get dressed and then looked at Junior. "So, what is the hitman got me doing today? Run a marathon for no apparent reason?" he asked, knowing Junior would do that to him. Ven was just hoping that he'd just go to school and not worry about any Mafia stuff today and just let it be a normal day...but knowing his luck it wouldn't.

While Ven and Junior are still in their room, Kaito cames in, "Hello Ven and Ven's fellow Junior" said Kaito. "What cha doing??" Kaito asked. "Well we were just standing around and chatting right, Junior ???" Ven reply slowly. "well anyway i've asked your mom to have a breakfast with you cause my mom and dad are out early and your mom agrees to let me have breakfast with you" said Kaito " Oh and have you done the homework that Mr.Hiroshi gave us yesterday ??? " Kaito asked suddenly

Ven looked at Kaito and then heard him mention the homework. He took his left hand and then face-palmed. "Dang it! I forgot to do the assignment...he's gonna kill me if I don't turn in another assignment." he said sighing. Ven looked over at Junior and then thought,[i]That is unless he decides to kill me first...man this day couldn't possibly get any worse.[/i] He walked downstairs and went into the kitchen, where is mom was with breakfast ready.

"Morning Ven-kun." his mom said with a pleasant smile on her face.

"Morning mom..." Ven said sitting down. He glanced over at his food and then noticed a few spikes on it. [i]IS JUNIOR TRYING TO KILL ME?![/i] he asked himself as he face palmed again.

"You noticed your food!" Ven's mom said with a smile. "Junior offered to help with breakfast and made yours special." Ven's mom seemed so happy as she spoke and was beaming brightly as she spoke. "He said it is one of the ancient Italian styles that symbolizes hope and strength!" She pointed to the kitchen, were Junior stood on a tall stool of the cutting board. He was dressed in a full chief's outfit and held a large knife in his hand. Dog was beside him wearing a chiefs hat of his own.

"It is a traditional meal style the vongola family uses. It is called Mangiare o morire. It means Eat or Die." The light glinted off the blade of the knife. "Enjoy it." The hat tilted and shaded his eyes onminously as he smiled. "I worked [i]very[/i] hard to make it for you. I don't know what I would do if you didn't like it." On the board, a strangely human shaped vegetable lay. Junior chopped off the head.

Becuase of waiting on Ven's arrival, Ran feel asleep. After waking up, he just saw Van, Kaito and Junior were eating Breakfast. Ran shouted, "Hey Ven, you forgotted about me, or I was sleeping you didn't noticed?". Ran suddenly take a seat and Ven's Mom served him some food, Ran then asked, "So what's up with the whole inviting us to Breakfast?". Ran patiently waited for Ven or Junior's answer.

"He's just a wonderful helper in the kitchen." Ven's mom said with a smile.

[i]Yeah, but you still don't understand he's trying to kill me with this stuff.[/i] Ven thought, with a vacant expression on his face. He slowly began to eat the food and slowly began to choke. "D-Delicious..." he said nervously. He finished the breakfast and said,"T-Thanks..." He walked away and then saw Junior standing near the door in his normal clothes. "You go through a major costume changes more than I get annoyed by the other kids...and that's a lot." Ven said with a sigh. He put his bag over his shoulder and then said,"Betting your gonna follow me like you always do...which is gonna be weird. Well, I guess I'll see you two at school...Kaito, Ran."

"Weird?" Junior managed to look genuinely baffled. "It's only natural that your home tutor evaluate the conditions his ward encounters at his school as well as rate the degree and proficiency of the education you receive." He hopped unto dog's back and adjusted his hat. "I already got permission from the principal. He is enthused that a sponsor of the school board has interests in the educational facilities at his school." He looked at his watch and absently plucked a few hairs from Dog that grew into full sized stakes. "But if you hang around, you re going to be late. And you'll be punished." He smiled happily.

"As for why I called you here, It will have to wait for lunch. You'll meet a new guardian or two today, and they need to be at the meeting."

"Y-Y-You got it!!" Ven said quickly running out of the house, having Junior following him close behind. He heard Junior mention something about meeting new guardians, this was the second day that he heard Junior mention "guardians". [i]Guardians, what does Junior mean? I think he kinda flipped his lid or something...[/i] he thought with a sigh. All he wanted to do was get to the school and just not worry about this whole "guardians" thing. [i]Ever since he came here...my life has totally been turned around and everything has gone upside down. Man, what I wouldn't give to get my old life back...[/i] he thought as he headed towards Namimori High School.

Kaito ran behind them so he heard the story, "Guardian ?? What are they talking about ?? Is that look like a game or something ??" he think. When Kaito and Ven arrive at the Namimori High School, the bell rangs....While Kaito and Ven are in the class, Mr.Hiroshi come in with a stranger but Ven felt something weird about that guy " Class this is Zeros, he is a new student in our class please give him a big hand " said Mr.Hiroshi. After the big clap " Hi my name is Zeros, i'm from Italiy, please to meet you" Zeros introduced himself

Ran whispered to Kaito, "Hey this newb is from Italy, that's cool.". Ran then looked to Ven, Ran whispered to Ven, "Hey Ven, you ok? This guy's from Italy, he's French!". Ran became superbly exited about the new guy. Mr. Hiroshi said, "why don't you sit next to...." Mr. Hiroshi can't decide which seat could Zeros should seat, Near Kaito and I? or Near the bookshelves?

"Um..actually Ran, someone from Italy speaks Italian." Ven said looking at Ran, then at the kid Zeros. [i]He's from Italy...just like Junior. Wonder if he's like any of the other people that were from Italy...acquaintances of Junior.[/i] he thought as he sighed. More acquaintances of Junior was just what he need now...not really. He remembered a few of them that he'd seen, who almost killed him just cause Junior told them to test him out and make sure he was Vongola Boss material. Ven put his head on his desk and sighed. [i]I really hope he isn't one of Junior's friends.[/i]

Zeros wasn't the only new student that day. Though not in the same class as Ven and his friends, another transfer student from Italy was being introduced. Luke Mancini. He was calm and collected as he was introduced to the class. There was mixed reactions. The teachers were a bit apprehensive, considering his all to spotless record that still came with stories of student violence. The girls were dazzled and charmed. The boys jealous. The delinquents had plans of their own for the new pretty boy. Not that they would have any success.

In the class below Ven, Tiffany made her own breathless introduction to the class. She was overjoyed to make new friends and had too much fun in the world for normal people, but they still had to bear with her. She was likable all the same. despite her bubbly airheadedness. By the end of class, she was surrounded by a crowd of new friends, some entralled by her personality, others drawn to her magic, and a good number basking in her moe factor, telling themselves that she wasn't under-aged.

From the vantage point of a hide-away on the top of one of the tree in the school yard. He lowered a pair of binoculars and smiled. "So they are here. And now all the remains the letter." Dog barked.

-20 minutes until class starts-

A young man with blue hair and eyes was walking around town dragging a bat along with him. He didn’t seem to care where he was going at the moment but a look at his watch seemed to change that. He turned around but not in a desperate attempt to start running towards school. He turned to face his stalkers.

The young man grinned a bit when he saw the three people. “What happened to your boss? Now it’s just his three stooges. Oh yeah. I put him in the ER. So why are you three stooges stalking me anyway?” He rose his bat up towards the skinny one in the middle. “Did you three want to be slaughtered?”

It was obvious that the three were pissed at him. The middle one raised his wooden katana, also known as a bokken, to match the young man’s bat. “Vayne Zeros! We’re here to get revenge for you beating up our boss.”

“Obviously. I did just mention your boss is in the ER and how I put him there, right?” That didn’t seem to help the three’s attitude towards him.

The one to right was a very hefty guy if you catch my drift. He rose up his fists to reveal that he was not only wearing brass knuckles but was ready to fight. “This isn’t all fat you know.”

“You need some muscle to carry that fat around so I suppose so.” Again, another remark that didn’t help the situation he was in. Vayne didn’t seem worried though. “Can you just hurry this up. Now the guy to my left probably wants to say some that’ll bore the sh*t out of me like you two did. For that I’ll beat the sh*t out of you guys.”

Whether they agreed or not doesn’t matter. There last nerve snapped and they sprung all at the same time. Unfortunately they ran into each other trying to all rush at Vayne. They soon separated and two of them pointed at the largest of the three. He hesitated but charged. “For a second there I thought you guys weren’t going to be so cliché by actually coming at me all at once instead of one at a time.”

-17 minutes until class starts-

It goes to say that the three didn’t end up in a very good position. The big one was unconscious laying on the sidewalk, the skinny one was being hung a foot off of the ground by half of his bokken stabbed through the back of his collar and somehow into the wall of the store…across the street, and the third guy had his face implanted into the wall but just fell out onto the ground.

Vayne didn’t even seem to have a scratch on him. “Weak. They think I’m called a demon for nothing?” He looked at his watch. “That managed to waste a few minutes. I thought it would have been quicker than that though. I just better get moving.” He quickly ran off not bothering to look at the mess he left behind.

-2 minutes until class started-

Vayne ran through the gates with no time to spare. He rammed pretty much everybody that was in his way to class. Even through it all he was still dragging his baseball bat behind him. He got into class and got his seat just as the bell rang. He set his bat so it leaned against his chair.

[Enma Kozato]

Zane stood at the tip of a small boat in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, taking the long route from Italy to Japan. He knew a plane would be much faster, but with what he was entrusted with, a boat was much safer. In his left arm, he held a blue box with gold trim around it, and the Vongola crest in the middle. In his right hand, he held his scythe; a long staff about a foot taller than Zane, with a long, wicked looking curved blade at the end of it. "A few more days, and all hell will break loose, just as it was with Ten." Zane had his hair covering his right eye, but their was an ominous dark purple glow coming from his eye.

Class continued like normal, Mr. Hiroshi asked everyone to hand in their homework papers. Finally he came to Ven, asking, "And where is your paper, Mr. Sawada?"

Ven gently slammed his head onto his desk and then said,"I forgot to do it....just give me the "F"..." He raised his head and then watched Mr. Hiroshi walk off. [i]He has no idea on what I've been through. Other than me friends, no one has...[/i] Ven thought with a small sigh. He then pulled out his textbook, as Mr. Hiroshi said just that moment, and turned to the page. On the page, he saw a small note that read:

Later tonight you'll understand something else about the Vongola. Then for the next 10 days...I'll be working you like a dog.

Ven's eyes widened and then he put his head on his desk again. [i]Can't he give me a break?[/i] he thought to himself, with a sweat-drop falling down the side of his face.

[Kuroda Kaito]

"What happened ???" Kaito asked. "Nothing, it's nothing" Ven answer him back. Back then Zeros saw the two of them talking and he look at them carefully. After school, while Ven was walking toward to his home, "Hey mind if i walk with you ???" Kaito asked. While the 2 of them are walking "What do you think about that Zeros guy ??" Ven asked. "The new student who transfer to our class ?? Well i think he is cold, i saw him looked at us with a furious eyes like you're his enemy, something tells me that we should becareful with that guy..." suddenly a ball toward to them and Kaito shouted "Look out", he pushed Ven and dodge himself. Kaito saw a shadow standing on a roof, he look closely, that was Zeros Vayne. "What are you doing here ???" Kaito shout at Zeros. "Well it seems the Vongola boss isn't strong as i expected" Zeros said

Ran was shocked at what the hell is happening but he wants to protect both Kaito and Ven but he doesn't know what to do. He checked Ven, "Are you all right, Ven?" he asked. "How dare you to attack someone, and what do you mean "Vongola Boss"?" With Ran mad, he helped Kaito and asked, "What do you want? If you mean hurting Ven, you'll have to face us, first." They were shocked but Ran didn't know he was saying, he was like possessed but he continued speaking about bravery. He awaited Zero's response to what he actually did...

Ven wasn't paying attention to Kaito or Ran who were talking to him, mainly cause he was still thinking about what Junior was talking about and what he meant by working him like a dog. [i]Knowing my luck he is taking my advice on running a marathon. Man I just give him the ideas and he starts doing them, acting like a slave driver![/i] Ven thought with a sigh. Then he finally saw Vayne sitting at his desk. [i]Vayne got here just in time. For a second I thought he was hurt again...like with him in that fight two weeks ago.[/i] Ven stopped and recalled him fighting another mafioso who hated the Vongola. Vayne got there in the nick of time and saved Ven from a terrible fate, but needless to say Ven still blamed himself for it.

Waiting for Vayne to answer, Kaito begin to lost his patient, so he shout "Well you're lucky today, next time you sure will be killed by me" then Kaito walk away as he don't even look back at Ven and Ran because of his furious. The next day, Kaito didn't talk to Ven a thing but he always staring at Vayne with his killed eyes. Venstart worry about Kaito cause he didn't talk as he usually did.....

It seemed forever until the class was over, but the bell finally rang and class let out. Ven walked out of the classroom with a lot on his mind. [i]Junior is up to something and what did he mean by learning something else about the Vongola?[/i] he thought, with this and other thoughts swimming in his mind. Ven let out a sigh, before stopping at a window, looking outside at the sky. "Things were a lot more easier when I wasn't nominated as then next boss for this mafia family...but what can I say." Ven said quietly to himself. "With Junior around, things have become more interesting."

Junior hopped onto Ven's head, dropping from some point in the floors above. He bounced from there onto the window sill. Dog was a beat behind him, though his hop was more of a plop onto Ven's head. "Windows are prime locations for assassinations Ven. Unless you want to die, don't stick your head out of them like that." Dog panted happily beside him as he spoke. Of course, with Dog, happy seemed to be the only emotion he ever showed. That and hungry. He was an easy dog to please.

With a faint glint, a loop of wire dropped over Ven's head and constricted around his throat, though not enough to choke or strangle him. Junior pointed it out to him with his hammer. "See Ven, windows make ideal points for assassinations. You left yourself open for an attack from a mafia member."

Begin to lost patient for Vayne's answer, Kaito return to his sit and he think " What is this guy ??". Kaito try to think more about the story that he heard from Ven and Junior, he remembered that Junior talked to Ven that he will met other Guardian within 2 days so Kaito think that Vayne is the Guardian guy....but he wasn't sure. " What i'm thinking??? Anyway just dont think about this again " Kaito talk to himself
