Discuss. Also, there's a card that goes really well for this! After getting a few packs, I'm thinking of making a green-white "immortal" deck.

EDIT: Infect translation -

Damage dealt to your opponent is dealt in the form of poison counters instead of damage. So, for instance, if you had a 7/7 attacking an opponent, they would go from 20-13. If that monster had infect, they would gain 7 poison counters (I think they also don't take 7 direct damage). When a player has 10 poison counters, regardless of their life, they lose.

They're really NOT the same thing. Doom counters, for one, go on a creature, not the player. Poison Counters go on a player and there are ways in magic to remove/prevent them. Also, 3 =/= 10. I mean that's just basic math.

What your saying is that if a card used spell counters to destroy a creature, and another card used "Trap" counters to destroy a creature, trap counters would be the same as spell counters because they have the same end effect. Still, there is far more support for spell counters (and poison counters) then trap counters (and doom counters), making them two very different things.
