[Finished]FINISHED! Retrain that Vanilla #5

Recommended Posts

Wow new record for entries! Unless I counted wrong, 14 entries! I will try to not take to long on any of them.
Lore:When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, Destroy up to 3 monster(s) your opponent control and deal 100x the level of the destroyed monster(s) to your opponent Life Points.
A mix of Zaborg the Thunder Monarch and Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch with half the ATK but 3 TIMES the effect! Overall pretty good and creative, fits the theme well. Just up to 3 monsters is a big field bomb, maybe more balanced if it was only up to 2.
Hmm it feels very hard to judge how good this is. If you select your Blue-Eyes then it has 2800ATK but if you select a generic 4-star brute with 1900ATK then it will have 2250. Ether way seems like a decent beat stick but being able to special more of it self from the deck is where the real power comes in. Thins the deck and special summons a level 5. Even if you tribute summon the first one and can only select itself (1950ATK) and then gets killed during your opponent's turn, you can special summon a second and then normal summon a brute.
Lore:
You can discard 1 card to destroy 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls. Each time a Defense Position monster is destroyed by this effect, Increase this card's ATK equal to the DEF of the destroyed monster, until the end of your opponent's next turn.
Interesting a rock card that hates defense monsters. Seems like not a bad side deck against a heavy defense deck and a pretty good card in a spider deck. Also combined with Ojama Trio you could gain 3000 ATK, burn 900 damage, and maybe even discard like 3 Fabled monsters for more effects.

Lore: This card can't be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be summoned by discarding "Negzal, Cave of Horrors" through the effect of "Movementize". Each turn that this card attacks, place one Rampage-Counter on it. When this card has three Rampage-Counters on it, remove them to destroy one card on the field. This card is not affected by Spell/Trap cards.

Lore: Every turn that this card is on the field, place one Horror-Counter on any card on your opponents field. When a card has four Horror-Counters on it, send it back to your opponents hand. This card is not affected by Spell/Trap cards.

Lore:Tribute 1 "Negzal, Cave of Horrors" you control. Special Summon 1 "Sand Stone" from your hand or Deck.
Yay RTV's first ritual entry! I LOVE rituals! Problem is this really is not a ritual at all. Much more like a Gearfried-Release Retrains type thing. Plus the effects are way too slow and weak to ever be effective. Sorry.
Hardened Sand Stone
Attribute: EARTH
Type: Rock/Fusion/Effect
Level: 5
ATK: 1300
DEF: 1600
Effect: You can only Special Summon this card from your Extra Deck by removing from play 1 Rock-Type monster from your Graveyard. (You do not use "Polymerization"). If this card is Fusion Summoned this way, it gains ATK equal to half the ATK of its Fusion Material Monster. Any opponent's monster that battles this card is returned to the top of its owner's Deck at the end of the Damage Step.
A pretty cool concept you got going there. Can easily special summon from the extra deck almost for free and not losing any hand-advantage. Plus it gains ATK which on avarage you will probably remove a Koa'ki Meiru so it will have 2250 ATK which not even Cyber Dragon could kill. Goblin Attack Force could but I think I am the only person that still plays that. Oh also it bounces to top-deck, which kills hand advantage, things that battle it. A pretty nice concepy and flavor but this is just way too over-powered!
If this card is the only monster on your side of the field, your opponent must attack you directly. If you take 2000 or more points of damage while this card is face up on the field, you can tribute this card to gain Life Points equal to half the damage you took, and then you can destroy 1 card on the field. If this card is in the Graveyard during your opponents End Phase, you can discard your hand to Special Summon it.
Very weird. It forces your opponent to attack you directly which could open up using a ton of cards against. But then if they hurt you too much you can tribute him to gain some back and destroy a card! Oh plus by discarding your hand (Infernities and Fabled love that!) it can return. A very interesting and taunting shield. Not sure exactly what kind of deck it fits best into but it is certainly interesting.
this card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing one Face-Up "Sand Stone" you control. Each time a monster is Normal Summoned, Place 1 Stone Counter on this card. You can remove Stone Counters from this card to apply the following effects:
● 1 Counter: Until the end phase of this turn, this card gains 300 ATK.
● 5 Counters: Inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.
● 12 Counters: Special Summon 1 "Super Legendary Ancient Stone Beast" from your Deck or Hand.
This totally does not fellow the rules of the contest and is disqualified.
Sand Stone of the Sahara
EARTH / Level 5 / Rock / Effect
ATK 1300 / DEF 1600

You can Special Summon this card if you control only 1 Level 5 or higher EARTH monster. If you do, the ATK and DEF of this card is switched. When your opponent's monster is returned to their hand, you can pay 800 Life Points to return it to the bottom of their Deck instead. You can remove from play 1 EARTH Rock-Type monster from your Graveyard to return 1 monster on the field to their owner's hand. You can activate this effect once per either player's turn.
Again quite interesting. Get Gaurdian Sphinx out. Special this from your hand. Flip the Sphinx to bounce all their monsters to the bottom of their deck. Being able to do it once during each player's turn makes this thing pretty invincible with a full graveyard. Not completely broken but when used right a very nasty card!
When this card is Tribute Summoned, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 3 "Sand Tokens" (Rock-Type/EARTH/Level 2/ATK 650/DEF 800) in Defense Position on your side of the field. The tokens can not be used as Synchro Material Monsters for a Synchro Monster. When your opponent attacks a "Sand Token", you can equip it to the attacking monster. Monster's equipped with a "Sand Token" cannot Attack or change battle position. After 3 turns, destroy the equipped "Sand Token"
Never heard of a token equipping to a monster before. They will probably attack Sand Stone first but if they lack massive destruction effects then yeah the tokens will slow the opponent down a bit. While they can't be used to synchro they can be used for tributes. Perhaps for another Sand Stone? More likely for Beast King Barbaros or any other 3-tribute god card.
LORE: When this is destroyed and sent to the graveyard by battle, destroy the monster that battled with it and send it to the graveyard.
Simplistic and to the point. The problem is I don't think people want a weak level 5 Yomi Ship.

I take it only monsters currently on the field cannot attack when the effect activates. If they summon a new monster it can attack? If so, it seems only ok. If otherwise it seems way too powerful and able to keep your opponent infinitely out of combat.
This card can only be Special Summoned, from your hand, when you control a Rock-Type Monster. When this card is sucessfully summoned or Special Summoned, you can select 1 monster face-up on the field and decrease its level by 1. When this card is used as a Synchro Material and sent to the Graveyard, you can remove from play 2 Rock-Type Monsters in your Graveyard to draw 1 card.
A fairly good tuner for a rock deck. Nice and balanced. Not much else to say.
Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by sending 3 Rock-Type monsters you control to the Graveyard. This card cannot be selected as an attack target as long as at least 3 Rock-Type monsters are in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Rock-Type monster in your Graveyard to allow this card attack your opponent directly this turn.
3 rock monsters you control is a lot. Making it invincible to attacks seems like an annoying stall. Lots of cards to get rid of monsters in the opponent's graveyard but still. The direct attacks seem like they could get quite aggressive. Maybe can't be destroyed by battle if you have 3 or more Rocks might have been better.
Effect/Lore
You can send 1 Spell Card from your hand to the Graveyard and Special Summon this card from your hand. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of an EARTH monster. When this card is sent to the Graveyard for the Synchro Summon of an EARTH monster, EARTH and Rock-Type monsters you control cannot be targeted by Spell or Trap cards until the End Phase of this turn.
A nice tuner for an EARTH deck. The untargetable for a turn is a nice touch.

Wait, where's my card?

I could of sworn I sent it to you.
Damn! I am so sorry! I see it now. My mistake for forgetting to include it.

Lore - This card can be Special Summoned in Defense Position from your hand during your opponent's Battle Phase when you control 2 or less monsters. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card would be destroyed, you can discard 1 card from your hand and return this card to your hand instead.

I will be giving you a compensation prize.

Nah it's fine.

I would, however, like a rating on the card.
