[MtG] New Phyrexia

Recommended Posts

Needs the MtG tag.

In any case, I'm not going to the prerelease, but I like Myr Superion and its abusability.

Imagine choosing Myr Superion for Prototype Portal. You just keep on putting 5/6 vanilla tokens for 2 into play without restrictions every turn...

Gitaxian Proble also looks nice.

I'm going.

Not sure on favorites, but the new Phyrexian Mana is going to change the game like Stardust changed Yugioh.
Hopefully, I'll be able to pawn off enough to get a Jace.

Phyrexian mana is really appealing to me. Since I love how artifacts give mono-colored decks more effects to play with I like how the Phyrexian mana does so in an even better way.

That it does. I added it

And wow, I'm a little sad I never thought of that. Starts thinking of deck to build around that.....

I only thought of it because I happened to draw them together when testing my Myr build. It's not exactly something most people think of easily.

In any case, the Phyrexian mana looks somewhat underwhelming on a lot of stuff, everything but a few gems. Maybe in combination with something that prevents you from losing...

Or in a deck that makes up for the life loss. Personally I like turn 1 Vault Skirge, turn 2 Porcelain Legionnaire, turn 3 Tempered Steel. You not only get a 3/3 flying lifelink and 5/3 First Strike, but gain back all the life you lost in the set up.

That makes sense too.

Incidentally, Vault Skirge was one of the gems I mentioned.

If there is any way to cheat Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur into play before turn 4, I will find it. And I can't go to the prerelease ;_;, the money I have is going into my Jin-Gitaxias fund for five copies, four for a deck and one for my Memnarch EDH.
