Duae Formae. A remake of an Original RP{PG-16}{Accepting/Started}

Before you begin, i would just like to thank DigimasterRagnarok for the awsome idea he put forth almost a year ago. Everything in this belongs to him and Joey Miles who is Also our Co-Owner.

[spoiler=plot]In the year 2101, scientists created a cure-all for every disease mankind had ever known. It was tested on sick animals, and had worked perfectly! The news wasn't public yet, but the first orders were shipping out in South Africa where it was to be tested on humans. At first Everything seemed okay. The diseases on the continent quickly decreased and people began to be healthy, but at a terrible cost. People who had been treated had began to experiance physical and mental changes. Everyone treated became a muderous, bloody, and misshapen version of thier former self. The cure-all had now become a virus.

As the news quickly traveled around the world about the infected people, meny believed that they should quarentine the continent, others believed that they should nuke the new threat. After a week of dispute amoung the world, the infected populace increased to one third that of Africa's population. Seeing no other way to stop the rapidaly advancing virus, the leaders of the world built a great wall to seal them off from the rest of the world. The wall was to be mounted by 200 men at all times, to prevent the continuing spread of the disease.

36 years later, scientist have found that the infected people have become a new species of creature. Naming them after what they were originally, they called them, Misshapen. One day, as if it was bound to happen, several of the wall's guards became infected and wreaked havok on the guard, allowing the Misshapen to escape their prison. After only a few weeks the Infection quickly spread to cover all of the Middle East and parts of Europe. Asia and the Ameriacas, being the only continents to yet be infected, quickly began searching for a way to stop the menace.

One day, a group of scientists came up with an idea to fight the Misshapen. Because humans could be infected by the mutants, it was hard to fight off the infestation with human soldiers. That is when the scientists had noticed that animals were inmune to the infection and could not carry the virus that mutated the humans. This was the start of the Duae Formae project. The idea of the project was to devise human-animal hybrides to resist the infection, take on some of the animal characteristics and still retain their human sence of mind. These super soldiers are known as Bi-oids.

You are a Bi-oid. You were created in a lab using human DNA from a male and a female, and using animal DNA. Being random and from donors, all Bi-oids have different DNA, just like most humans (excluding identical twins). After creation, Bi-oids are grown-up faster in time chambers, and skip to 20 years of age over a course of 2 weeks. Afterwards, they are trained in a military camp for three years, where they learn how to fight mutants. You and all other Bi-oids will work together and complete the missions assigned to you by the U.S. government. Use your abilities, weaponry, and knowledge of the different mutant species to defeat them.[/spoiler]

Your Animal DNA: Gyrfalcon
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Description: Gyr is a tall girl at 6'0" with shoulder length pure white hair. Her face is narrow and exceedingly beautiful, her pierceing blue eyes stun most men. Her body is what attracts most men as she has, what is know as, a perfect hourglass shape. She is often seen wearing standard issue military armor consisting of a camo, bullet proof vest and camo pants. From her shoulder blades extends her snowy white wings, being as tall as she is at resting. When she extends her wings she has a 30 foot wings spand, capable of allowing her powered fight if the situation demands it.
Bio: Gyr, like all Bi-oids, spend most of her life in either the training facility or in a tube. After her time in the facility, she took to the battlefield where she quickly made a name for herself as the "White Terror." After seeing one of her comrades die, the very one whom she had fallen in love with, she swore never to let somebody die again if she could help it. From that day forward, she trained as a Field medic but retained her prowness in the war zone. She is now the Chief Field Medic and is the Medic for Alpha Team.
Personality: Gyr is a wonderful companion. She can be a little sadistic in her thoughts but she would never hurt a friend and hates to see them in pain. She loves to have fun when she is off the battlefield, but while on it, shows no mercy to her enemies. She is the best friend a person could ever want and the worst enemy you could ever have. She is quick to loose her temper and can hold a grudge forever. Even still she is a gentle spirit and has a kind heart.
Weapons: A Beam Rifle and a Powered Sniper Rifle are strapped to her back and she keeps two knives on her, one at her cheast and the other in her boot.
Special Abilities:
1. Powered Flight: Can fly long distances or a short distance if she is transporting somebody.
2. Falcon's Eye: Just like her falcon breatheren, she can see long distance. In some cases she can see 7 miles with 20/20 vision.
3. Falcon's direction: Like with most birds, she can tell where she is and what direction she is traveling at all times.[/spoiler]

Name: Chase
Your Animal DNA: Snow leopard
Age: 25

Description: Standing about 6'3, Chase has a demeanor that looks as if his wildness is barely contained beneath the surface. His hair is smoke gray with faint black spots and fur like with thick sideburns and stretches down his spine and out into a full sized tail. He has claws in his hands and feet (either wears a cut away military boots, sandals or none at all) and often uses them in fighting. He is a bit hairy and has fur like growth along his arms, chest, back and legs (same color as his hair). Dress wise, he wears fatigue pants and sleeveless tops with his knifes strapped horizontally on his lower back and his pad and drones in pockets along his thigh.

Bio: Chase only recently left the training facility. Before this, he spent his time either sleeping, training or eating. He was found to work best alone or with a self-sufficient partner and trained that way, focusing on a mix of martial arts and other skills that would allow him to do his job effectively. Being naturally curious and prone to exploring around him, he was also given some focus on infiltration, reconnaissance and data retrieval. He has not been in the field for long, but he has been good at what he has done so far. Once he gets started, he finds it difficult to turn away and hunts with cold efficiency. He has had a bit of trouble with his superiors because he doesn't always follow orders, but they found being vague and setting tempting goal a good way around that problem.

Personality: He is curious and will often poke around things and places. He doesn't really interact with other with concern and more follows the every man for himself mindset, though he will look out for other if he remembers or feels like it. he is sarcastic and critical as well as vain and conceited, often looking at others with disdain. Like most big cats, he is cautious at first, but very personal and touchy, but prone to sudden emotion changes. He tends to be possessive about things he considers his own. He also breaks rules just to show that he can and is very independent.

Weapons: Combat Knifes
Plasma Mine- releases a plume of super energized gas. Recharges after a few minutes.
Laser Drones (x2)- really, just a floating camera ball a bit bigger than a tennis ball that has a laser built in. Can be set to different intensities for cutting, burning or stunning. Also has a folding handle for hand-held use. Controlled remotely with a touch screen data pad.

Special Abilities:
Superior strength limb muscular; able to leap up to 40-50' and powerful kicks, punches and slashes.
Heightened scent and hearing; Superior Night vision, agility and flexibility

Name: Fenris
Animal DNA: Grey Wolf
Age: 26
Gender: Male

Description: Stands at roughly 6’4 but is usually slouching somewhat. His black hair is long enough to cover his eyes but due to its thickness he wears it upwards wild and messy. He has two well sized wolf ears protruding from the top of his head on both sides, because of this he does not have human ears and where the ears would be is covered by his messy hair. He has large razor sharp fangs. He has a bushy black tail that turns smoke grey towards the tip. He has a patch of bushy black and dark grey fur that covers his upper chest and shoulders as well as his wrists. His eyes are a piercing yellow. His feet have grown and become tough, covered in short dark grey fur and clawed. Because of this he doesn’t wear shoes, nor needs to. His arms and legs have grown slightly longer then the average human’s would be at his height. He has large retractable claws that come out of his bulky hand’s fingers. As far as apparel goes, he wears a black tank-top with a standard issue military jacket with the sleeves ripped off rather messily and the collar area ripped off which shows his black fur sticking out. He wears a utility harness over his chest. Wears standard issue military fatigue pants ripped to end roughly halfway down his shins. Lastly he wears black gloves with the fingers ripped off slightly past the knuckles.

Bio: Fenris was at first thought to be a failure. Though in physical appearance he had about as much animal in him as any other Bi-oid, mentally it was believed he had lost too much of his human side. Shortly after reaching maximum maturity to start training, Fenris became rather vicious and violent. He attacked several scientists and soldiers after his release from the time chamber and had to be heavily sedated for him to stop. Rather then be “put down” for being a failure, the higher ups decided his vicious spirit might become a useful weapon to fight the Misshapen. After his training he was able to learn to control his animal urges but in times of great stress or agitation he is known to lose control for short periods of time making him rather dangerous to be around.

Personality: Fenris is smart and brutish on the battlefield. Often known to lose his temper and become mentally animalistic and violent. Kind and caring to his comrades, though he tries to hide it. Quiet to anyone he doesn’t fully trust (mostly anyone besides those he goes on missions with constantly) Confident in what he can do and not afraid to show it. Likes to charge into battle strategically rather then stay at a distance.

Weapons: -Razor sharp stainless steel Machete (strapped to his back)
-Dual 50cal Bolt-Action Handguns (called Reavers) each fire 50cal shots coated in electro charged plasma. (harnessed on holsters on his chest harness under each armpit.)
-Grenade launcher (fires medium-long range) strapped to his lower back.

Special Abilities: 1. Heightened physical abilities (running faster, jumping high, strong)
2. Heightened senses (especially hearing and smell)
3. Lightning quick reflexes
4. (an ability/downside) Animalistic mental transformation. (when he is under a lot of stress or is extremely agitated he loses most of his human mentality and becomes ravenous and vicious. Makes him savagely attack Misshapen. If he is pushed WAY too far he will lose sight of himself enough to even have a chance at harming comrades. He regains his sanity after a few minutes.)
5.Genius at Stealthy and tactical behavior (on the rare occasion he wishes to use it)

I think I might be in the fine line of the application thing...but here it is anyway.

Name: Torai Ignacius (AKA: Tigger)
Animal DNA: Tiger
Age: 27
Gender: Male

Description:
Blake has brown medium hair that blends in with his tiger like figure, deep blue eyes and a sturdy, but smart, look in his face accompanied by a “Chuck Norris” looking brown beard. He is semi-muscle bound due to the training he endured at the camp, wears a unique black shirt that is made of an elastic material allowing it to stretch with his transformation. He wears blue pants, and top shield gauntlets made out of Kathilium, an much harder and more lightweight than titanium making them perfect for deflecting attacks and are even bullet proof. The shields are only on top of his hands, but are just gloves made of the same elastic material if the shields are removed. He has no need for shoes as they get ripped anyway due to his speed and tendency to use sweep techniques when held in close combat. He has a notable scar under his right eye where his eye was nearly gauged out during the training camp.

Bio: Torai was born just like everyone else in the lab. He went through the exact same growth acceleration and 3 year training. The only things that would mark him from everyone else was his knack to learn about things almost instantly thanks to his picture perfect memory and his habit of reading anything he got his hands on…and I mean ANYTHING. He loved to learn, especially math and science. This habit actually got him in trouble one time during his first year of training with one of the professors because he had found a stash of ‘naughty’ magazines in his desk. Torai didn’t get what the books were about, but he got in trouble anyways. It was only a year later that he understood why the professor was mad, and he laughed at the thought. The second time he got in trouble was during his second year of training with another bi-oid. He ox was a brute that wanted trouble, and he got it. Torai always learned tricks from the other bi-oids, especially in combat and when the ox and he got into a brawl, he turned the tables by pounding him using his own techniques. From then on the other bi-oids did not mess with him. Everyone knew the Ox bi-oid was far stronger than he was, and he still got beat, which was something several new bi-oids referred to. He was a good example for them.

Personality: Torai is brilliant. He has picture perfect memory that allowed him to learn several things quickly. Not only that but he had developed a habit of reading almost anything he could get his hands on, and quickly since the training was rough. By the end of training, he turned out to be a kind and gentle person with a stature to keep up, and a blind fury that he knew when to unleash. Torai is also a pretty balanced being. He can get along with you if you get along with him, he respects those who respect him or those who’s positions he can understand, and the such. He has a tendency to assume things about several beings, but has developed a habit of asking those of whom he assumes what he assumes about them. “Better to hear it from the horse’s mouth, right?”

Weapons:
1.) Dual Kodaichis (1 short blade and 1 medium sized blade both held by 1 stealth)
2.) Cherry bombs (5 Smoke, 5 Knock-Out, 5 Poison, 5 Explosive, 5 Plamsa-Energy (for stunning and disabling things)) stored in a 5 individual Kathilium compartments attached to his belt.
3.) Kathilium Shielded Gauntlets
4.) A single Railbeam Pistol (uses water compartments that react with the liquid, evaporate it and condence the energy into a single energy shot. Pistol can overheat pretty easily so it can only fire up to 6 shots before it can be fired once more. It can fire up to a total of 24 shots before the compartments need to be refilled with water.)

Special Abilities:
1.) Heightened senses (an even distribution of hearing, smell, and sight.)
2.) Stamina recovery (he just doesn’t get as tired)
3.) Heightened reflexes. (Self-explanatory.)
4.) Retractable claws (which are VERY useful for climbing and clinging onto things)

Ok guys here is the deal. Me and Joey only want one of each kind of animal and he has claims to wolf; however i will talk it over with him to see if it is ok.

@FacelessHero If you would, Please explain his mental "transfomation" if you would. How dangerous is he? Can he regain sanity? Is he a threat to his comrads? Stuff like that. Also give me a day or two to talk it over with Joey on the animal thing. Other than that Accepted.
@Cody Frost The Bi-oids do not undergo a physical transformation. They arn't werewolves. The only have features of the animal they come from and that is final. Your weapons are also way over powered for what they are and you cannot go creating elements or materials. You need to use something that could be a real life weapon, not something you came up with off the top of your head. Please be realistic. One other thing, and ill put this out there again, HE DOESN'T HAVE SUPER POWERS. He cannot have the focus blast thing. these are things that could be in real life. I'm sorry but untill you correct these things you are not accepted.

yah i posted a little more after i took another look at it. I actually found a lot of things wrong or that i thought made your character way over powered.
@FacelessHero I haven't decided whether or not we can have multiple characters yet. I will take it into consideration though.

I was in the moment of things and I guess I couldn't help it ^.^' Will fix though. The weapon idea is something of a real project I was doing in Drafting class and well, the schematics work well, so I thought why not make it more futuristic? But meh, I'll scrap that and just put some simple ideas instead Again, will have to do it tmro cuz it's getting late :/

I edited the description of his mental transformation ability. Also I rly wish you wouldve mentioned the unavailability of Wolf beforehand so I wouldn't have waisted my time with the app well hopefully "Joey" wont care... If he does however I already know what I will change my DNA to. (or if he doesn't care and we are allowed multiple characters I know what to make my second)

@FacelessHero I don't know if about the wolf thing yet but for the most part all you will really need to do is change the DNA if it does come to that; However, i have known Joey for a long time and he is pretty reasonable so lets just see how things work out.
