Spoon
Most anticipated game of 2011, at least for me. Already pre-ordered (for PC of course, consoles suck at this ), and I friggin can't wait. Dark humour, dark atmosphere and a really, really dark Alice, that's what I expect, and from what I can tell, this game is going to deliver it. I'm especially curious about the London part, where the more or less "sane" Alice tries to figure out who killed her parents... would like to roam around that city, talk to people, and maybe even "take it to the real world", where the 2 worlds blend in and fuse to something... pretty insane. I just hope EA doesn't interfere too much with the developers visions, but from the looks of it, I think that's not going to happen.

It looks so awesome! ^^ Now this is the way I like Alice.

Spoon
Knew this topic was still somewhere... So, the game is out. Like, now. Got it today and played it for 2 hours straight, and this is the result:
So beautiful! Alice's hair moves so graceful and fluent (but only when it's "Wonderland long"), I couldn't take my eyes of it for like 5 minutes The atmosphere caught me directly after I started the game. London looks so realistic, yet the people in it are just weird. I'm kinda sad that, after the first 10 minutes in London, I got never back to it, and I'm currently stuck in Wonderland. Which is, of course, still insanely beatiful, as expected, but I still long for the opportunity to get back. The fighting and platforming felt absolutely attrocious... until I switched from keyboard to gamepad. Seriously, in my opinion it's absolutely unplayable with the keyboard, but the gamepad seems to miss a few keys in return. For example, I didn't find the key to block with the umbrella... because there simply is none. I had to switch back to the keyboard to beat that one enemy you can only beat by reflecting its projectiles... if somebody knows a solution to this, let me know Still, after the switch, the fights were a lot easier and felt more intuitive. The game also has a ton of collectable stuff, like bottles, pig snouts (yes, I'm serious), memories and teeth. Exploring the world usually gets rewarded, which is always nice. The teeth are used to upgrade your weapons, which I couldn't feel up until now, but I only upgraded the basic Vorpal Blade once, so it's probably not noticable yet. From what I can tell up until now, it feels pretty damn good. The art design alone was worth the money I bought it for, and I'm not even 3 hours in
