Quiksilver
When are we going to start? If Kyubey sees that we're at page 6 and still haven't started the RP he's gonna get mad...
Elƒie
Sorry I haven't replied in forever... So in order for a character to get the Rod, they must be a thief, correct? If correct, I would like to reserve the Rod. I'll have my app in asap, tomorrow night the latest.
Naimo
@Aisu - reserve accepted @Lux - we can't start until we have all our thieves; as of now, we're still two short. We should be able to start once I get an update as to whether ElectricKirby is still participating or not ... if the answer's the latter, then I'll make another thief app with the Millennium Eye, and then we're good to go. Elƒie
Name: Nakia Yahya Age: 21 Gender: Female Appearance: Height: 5’ 7” Weight: 140 lbs Complexion: She has a fair complexion, given her condition. She has spot or two on her forehead. But then again, who doesn’t at this day and age? Her skin is a natural tan-like color, but a shade or two lighter than most people. Hair: She has auburn color hair that’s been grown down to her knees. To help keep her long hair under control, its been braided. Eye color: Hazel. Casual clothing: Nakia wears three separate layers of clothing at a time. Don’t worry, they’re light and airy so she doesn’t get heat stroke. The outer layer: a long white cloak that’s covered in patches and dirt from years of ownership; a brown, dress like top that reaches just below her knees. The middle layer: a simple gray t-shirt that has the symbols of protect and forgive dyed on the chest and back portion; a darker gray pair of pants that just fall short of reaching her ankles. The inner layer: a black tank-top like shirt with tattered ends; the shorts fall just above her knees, they too, are black. Uniform: When Nakia is on the "job," she takes off the dress, tank-top and shorts. This leaves just her cloak, t-shirt and pants. She also leaves behind most of her weapons, carrying just the two 4" knives listed below. She then replaces the left behind weapons with basic tools to help her out. Personality: Always humming a light, upbeat tune, Nakia always tries to see the good side of things. During the day, Nakia lets her inner child out. She often plays with the children, watching and tending to the children as the parents go on with their busy days. But when night falls, Nakia becomes more serious and mature. Very step she takes at night has a purpose and bursting with confidence. She’s also very religious, always looking to the gods for guidance, protection and forgiveness; hence the symbols she wears on her shirt. Biography: When she was 5 years old, her parents sold her to a slave dealer in order to survive. To this day, she doesn’t hate her parents, knowing what they did was for survival and an act of the gods. As she grew up, the slave dealer seen a hidden gift within her: the gift of a skilled thief. As they traveled from city to city, the dealer taught her all the trades needed to be a successful thief, using the crowd that gathered to make their “purchase” as practice. At the age of 12, Nakia escaped from the dealer and has continued thievery. She continues on this path because he practices what she calls a “noble thief.” A noble thief is someone that only steals when needed, takes from those that won’t be affected much by it, and use the excess money to help others. Nakia dreams of changing the world for the better. She knows that the darkness of society (poverty, oppression, exploitation, etc) will never be truly gone, but she wishes to reduce it as much as possible. Side: Thief (good) Millennium Item: Rod Weapon: Before getting the Rod, she carried a 4” knife in each cloak sleeve, a 2.5’ sword hidden within her cloak and a pair of 3’ long rods that stay hidden behind her back. After getting the Rod, she caries that and one of the 4” knives for back-up. Deck: Name: Feathered Assault. Function: A deck filled with Blackwings, they swarm the opponent without mercy with abilities as flexible and vast as the skills of a thief. Sacred Dragon: Black-Winged Dragon Ba Meter: 84 I hope its okay if I wait on the deck... I wanna know the dragon first so I can make sure I'll use a deck that the dragon is a part of it and not just thrown in. If not, let me know and I'll fix that right up. And sorry for the delay.. The internet signal took a crap yesterday and it just recently returned.
Sweetie Belle
I have everything except the bio, which I have yet to edit.
Naimo
@Aisu - yes, thieves have a uniform - it's basically what you wear whilst carrying out a robbery. Edit that, and your deck, and you're accepted. Your Sacred Dragon is Black-Winged Dragon, and your Ba Meter is 84. @ElectricKirby - OK then; by the way, your Sacred Dragon is Stardust Dragon. Right, now that we've effectively got all our main roles, I can officially declare this RP ready to go. I will not be accepting any more apps, save for ElectricKirby and Lazaruz. Once I've got the main thread started, I'll link it back to here and give further info as to what to do. Btw, if you do not have an Accomplice/Assistant, and you want one, you can make another app for them.

Naimo
If you are a Sacred Guardian (or Assistant), you should be waking up, trying to recall last night's events, and then making your way to the Pharaoh's court. Your rooms are at the west end of the Palace. If you are a thief, you'll also be waking up and trying to recall last night's events. Bearing in mind that you've stolen your DiaDhanks, Sacred Dragons and Millennium Items, you won't be using them just yet (or indeed carry them with you). You will be making your way to Mahkut's home. Master Red
oh shoot... then my bio makes no sense >_> that stated that her husband stole it in a raid years ago and she has been in control of the key for the last couple of years following his death. How to solve this? D:
Naimo
Maybe you could edit your app? It seems the easiest way around...
Master Red
Yeah, seems like it :/ I made it so the artifact that he stole was not a millenium item and Austa even sold the artifact after his death. So just copy pasta this bio and replace the old one ^^ usta is originally from Iceland, the daughter of a village chief and his wife, where she spent the first six years of her life. She doesn't remember much from her life there, it's all fuzzy memories; a smell here and an image there as well as the faces of her family. Just a few months after her sixth birthday the village she lived in was attacked, she didn't know where they were from, but possibly from Britannia or Germania. The battle was lost and she was taken away as a slave among many of the other women and children, her own mother had been killed as had her older brother's, so she was on her own. There was a lot of time spent under the deck of a boat, she can still remember the stench and how many of the people had died during the journey from decieses. She got sick too a couple of times, but she never got life threateningly sick. She first entered the slave market in Rome where she spent eight years working as a maid for some nobility. She was beaten a lot in the beginning as she didn't understand Latin and as such she made many mistakes. She found comfort with one of the older maids in the household, who cared for her as if she was her own child or grandchild. With time she started to learn Latin and became quite fluent in it, she still has an accent though. When she was fourteen she was sold again, this time she ended up at a brothel in "insert city where the RP starts" that was specialized in "foreign girls". She hated the job she was forced to do, but she knew she had been lucky enough to end up at a specialist brothel instead of one of the regular ones. She was much safer here, was actually allowed to walk the streets when she wasn't working and she actually did get paid for her.. duties. She spent three years at the brothel, during which she became quite successful, meaning she had more perks and better pay. These things were not enough for Austa though, she wanted her freedom again and as she made more and more money she managed to actually buy herself off from the brothel mother herself. Now, there was both a good and a bad side to buying your freedom. The good part of it was that she was free, the bad part was that she was now both homeless and unemployed. Austa had to turn to thievery as a mean of survival and even though she was no longer working at the brothel she actually had to retort to prostitution every once in a while just to get some money. After about six months on the streets she managed to join a guild of thieves known as "The Scarabs". Much was thanks to her good looks, which attracted the guild leader, but her talents when it came to pickpocketing and working locks also helped. As the guild leader had an interest in Austa she was safe from rape within the guild, always had food and she always had a bed to sleep in. Of course, the bed part meant she had to share it with the guild leader, Set, but it was a small price to pay for all the perks that came with it (and he wasn't too bad looking either). As she no longer had access to the contraseptives that were handed out at the brothels to keep their girls from getting pregnant, she soon got pregnant and nine months later she gave birth to her first son, Itep. Due to her being a mother she was no longer able or obligated to steal, she was to look after their child while the others brought food and money to the guild. The birth of Itep also caused Austa and Set to get married, making her position within the guild even more powerful. Two years passed and the guild was getting stronger, along with Austas and Set's relationship. During this time Austa also gave birth to a daughter, Anuk, and Set was also part of a successful raid against the royal palace where he managed to steal some kind of rare artifact. There were many discussions at first whether or not they were to sell the stolen goods or not, but as they realized that selling the item would be too dangerous and most likely get them caught the artifact was Set's to keep. About a year and a half after the raid Set came down with a bad fever which eventually caused his death. Austa was in grief over the death of her husband and over the fact that her children wouldn't grow up with their father around... just like she had (only it was worse for them). The death of Set resulted in Austa becoming the guild leader and she also got control of the artifact. As some years had passed since the raid, Austa decided to sell the artifact for good money at the underground market which earned her more respect among her peers, strengthening her position as a guild leader even more. The reason for Austa to sell it was not only for money and securing her position however, the item was just too painful to keep with her so shortly after her husbands death. She had her wedding ring and other things that reminded her of him, and they came with more pleasant memories than just the proof of her husband being a talented thief. Austa has been running the guild since then, all while taking care of her kids. Her reign has been appreciated by most, especially by the women as her reign made the guild safer for them without having to marry or be "claimed" by a higher up guild member. The men were also pleased with her reign as she was as just of a leader as Set had been and just as harsh as well. Even though Austa knows she has an important position within the guild she doesn't let her "job" get in the way of her children.

Naimo
Master Red, the Millennium Key doesn't come as a necklace, it's just a handheld item, like thus:
Master Red
oh I had a memory of Shady wearing it as a necklace. But then again, the puzzle wasn't originally a necklace either yugi added that rope himself to it so surely that could be the cace with the key too? I mean, it wouldn't be hard to put string through there and use it as a necklace Am I the only one kind of seeing card games on horse and carriage as a deal here (ancient speed duel for the lulz xD) Uninteresting fact: I think my post was the longest one I've ever made xD
TotalObelisk
Yeah I second that, it's pretty easy to wear something like the key as a necklace rather than carry it around since it's far more convenient (and easier to conceal)

Quiksilver
If you were wondering about the strange sight, I designed it so that it if the thieves broke in through the door, then it could be a sign of their break-in, or if not, then it could be nothing.
