Legokun
Just downloaded YVD, so how do I go about adding custom cards to said program?
Dementuo
You go to the folder containing the file (Should be under System Files --> XeroInteractive --> yvd) Then, just find the spot alphabetically, then input all the necessary information on the card. Of course, you'll have to work out the use of your custom cards with your opponents, so that they're not like "Wait wut is this".
Legokun
Not to be a bother, but could you be a little more specific?
Dementuo
Go to "My Computer" Go to "OS" Go to "System Files" Go to "XeroCreative" Go to "YVD" Open the "yvd" set file. Edit as you please.

-Griffin
#1) Get your cards into YVD format. I'd recommenced using Yangninja's set studio, which I expect is still a sticky in Written Cards. Do not leave the Set ID section blank. That's the third field in any card, so be careful. You'll want them all the same, generally. #2) Get your images into YVD format. That means a 40x40 .gif image which is named exactly the same as your card, but without any spaces. Some forms of punctuation may have to be removed, and might even not work at all with YVD custom card names. #3) Open the .set file with notepad and paste your cards at the bottom. #4) Open the 'images' folder in YVD and make a sub-folder named as what you put into the Set ID section. Paste the images in there. #5) Make sure that your opponent has the same image folders, and same .set file as you, then duel away. That can get to be quite a lot of work for testing random cards, so I'd recommend joining a CCG if you plan on dueling a lot with custom cards, like Leo's CCG in Written Cards, or the OCCG in Realistic Cards (the best one 'cus I run it =p ). Joining a CCG gives you a good environment to test your cards, where a lot of things are handled for you, and where it's easy to find duels, but because of the custom-card-basis that they run on, won't tend to give you the same environment as the TCG to duel in, so you'll have to make your cards differently most of the time. Seeker Lyuri
Do I need a separate program to open it?
No, Notepad works. Just open the yvd.set file as you would and pick Notepad when it asks you which program to use to open it.
